Not the first time visiting there. Today for 3. All full and satisfied(: . Local: easily accessible. You can also find a table in the evening. Of course, it may be that the volume increases a bit, but it still works well to entertain. Most importantly: the food is a real dream. The portions are decent and the prices are well balanced. We ordered gnochi with porcini mushrooms, fillet strips in truffle sauce. Craziness... . Simply a poem in terms of taste. Highly recommended. Also the gnochi in Gorgonzola sauce with spinach. The garlic oil offered is perfect with this. Pizza and casseroles are also recommended. We've already tried it out a bit xd. It just tastes good. You're really full afterwards. We definitely were. The service staff on both days were very attentive, friendly and accommodating. Special praise goes to today's young man (: . Ah.. and the Sarti drinks taste great too xd. Located on the market square in downtown Leipzig, rustic and cozy. In summer there is a large outdoor area right on the market square. The service is good, the waitresses are in a good mood, the food was tasty and plentiful. We had pasta and it was excellent. The prices are reasonable for the number of portions.

We had dinner there and were served very friendly by a waiter named Flo. His good mood, friendliness and delicious food made the experience. I've been there twice since then and can only speak well of it, highly recommended!

Got a nice, cozy table for 2 people with an old dog at short notice. Food was hot and very tasty. Drinks well chilled and the service was very friendly. We will come again!

Pizzeria directly with a view of the market square from the large outdoor area. The pizzas were very tasty, lots of toppings but also very thin and crispy bases. The service was very quick and the food and drinks came very quickly. The kids got a heart-shaped pizza. Unfortunately, panacotta was only available with different sauces and no strawberry sauce. We were there on Saturday evening, so it's best to make a reservation, we just managed to get a spot. There is still room for improvement in terms of ambience.

Because of the good reviews, we as a family chose this restaurant. Our salami pizza was thin as a sheet of paper and unfortunately didn't really taste good, but our daughter's margarita pizza was good. At least the base was thicker and the cheese topping was noticeable. However, we then waited about another 15 minutes for a pasta dish, which is a no-go... The waitress was friendly, but the reference to “cash only” only came when paying. All in all, not really a recommendation… What a shame!!

Great restaurant, you can get food quickly and it tastes very good. The prices are reasonable. The service is very good, very friendly and nice. The joy of an Italian please, thank you and yes is very great. You can get a table even without ordering. In the evening it is still worth ordering in advance. The food comes quickly. The selection is very large, I can recommend the Quaddro Formagi pizza and the Panna Cotta, damn tasty, with a nice Italian vino. This restaurant is very suitable for dates and togetherness. Gladly again!

Another visit from 10/19/24: We went to the Rizzi Pizzeria again. The pizzas were again very tasty, unfortunately they got cold too quickly but that's understandable given the thin dough. Price performance top. The service was very attentive and friendly. Amir deserves special mention. Unfortunately, the only point of criticism is that the music is too loud. We'll definitely be back. We went to Pizzeria Rizzi today and, as always, it was delicious. The portions are very generous and at a fair price. We always enjoy coming here.

I'm Italian and don't like to eat Italian food when I'm abroad (i.e. almost always because I live in DE but not in Leipzig). Today I was really in the mood for some "comfort food" and according to TripAdvisor the Pizzeria Rizzi is very good, even though it's right in the middle of the old town, where there are usually only rip-offs for tourists. From the outside the restaurant looks rather anonymous, but inside it is more reminiscent of an ice cream parlor, standardized and without much imagination. The menu is very large, I chose something from the seasonal menu with mushrooms. The food was really tasty, the Greek waiter was extremely friendly and quick, the prices were low for the old town but the quality was really high and I finally enjoyed a real espresso macchiato, great joy! The only drawback: only cash is possible, but for me it's a small thing.

Very tasty food, very fast and friendly service and reasonable prices - clear recommendation. We (6 people) had our food within a maximum of 10 minutes of ordering. The pizzas are nice and crispy with a thin base, the pasta dishes are spicy. Busy atmosphere, as befits an Italian restaurant ;-). Only cash payment is accepted (clearly stated at the entrance door and on the menus).

Great Italian cuisine! The pizza is paper thin. The pasta portion was plentiful and the pork medallions were tender and highly seasoned. The waitresses were very nice. One point deducted for the ambience because it was very loud.

Top Italian with great value for money. The portions are easily enough to fill you up and the taste is really good. It was a chance find, but it was worth it! I can only recommend it.

Never been here before, it's really difficult with so many good Italian women in the area. Here too, my expectations were exceeded. I was warmly welcomed and allowed to choose a spot. The order was taken quickly and delivered and prepared quickly. The open kitchen (pizza preparation) is also a plus. Taste sensational, especially the dough, thin and crunchy, topped with good ingredients. If the pizza was topped with Fior di latte mozzarella cheese, it would be great. Price was absolutely justified. High praise: Cash is accepted (only). Long live cash. Thank you for the good food and the good service.

The pizzas 🍕 tasted okay according to our taste, there would definitely be room for improvement. The table wobbled a lot, so you had to make sure that when you cut the pizza it didn't fall awkwardly onto your lap.

So far everything has been very tasty, it's extremely quick and everything has always been very fresh. Service was always nice too. At first glance the ambience may seem a bit old-fashioned BUT I love it, it's just authentic and there's something going on and you almost feel like you're on holiday somewhere in Italy. The only disadvantage is that you cannot pay by card. Otherwise everything was really great!! Value for money 5/5!!

Once here and so delicious that we only eat here when we are in Leipzig. Price, performance and service are a perfect fit for us. And there is this cute pizza for children in the shape of a heart :) Location is also super central to the market.

Essen war wirklich sehr sehr lecker. Gnocchis mit Gorgonzolasoße und Spinat ist empfehlenswert. Schrecklich war die Bedienung. Anfangs sehr freundlich, dann aber teilweise übergriffig und unangenehm. Gerade für eine Frau ist es nicht schön von so einem Kellner bedient zu werden. Werde nicht mehr hingehen.

The food was super delicious! That's why we like to come from Zwickau and eat in this location. The service could be a little better, for example that the cutlery is brought without asking and you can start eating :) or that the dishes come together if possible and not all individually. But that's just a small comment! Otherwise we really enjoy being guests here!

We ate here 2 nights running. I had the chicken and mushroom gnocchi on the first night and was so good both hubby and I had it the 2nd night. Pizza was Huge (thin crust) and lots of toppings to choose from. There is a qr code on the front of the menu to translate from German to English so easy to order. Only down side was they don't take cards only cash.

I was in pizzeria rizzi yesterday for the first time.. It was completly full the restaurant but the service was well organizing..The pizza is for sure the best in the city.. i was really happy from the service and from the quality of the food .. i will suggest to all to go to try this restaurant 👌

Just came for a spritz, the service was very slow

We went there as three and waited for a long time for the waitresses to clean the table after the previous customer and take our order. I hadn’t felt this invisible at a restaurant before as no one made any eye contact so that we could ask them or no one really cared someone was sitting and waiting to order. The waitress even cleaned the tables next to ours but did not look at our side and did not hear when we called. So we left with nothing. Although it was a busy time, it wasn’t that busy and a good waiter/waitress could have easily taken our order or at least cleaned the table !

Well first of all I think it's extremely cool that my message was taken out here - luckily I screenshotted it. After they accused me of threatening their employee, which is not true at all, I put out an appeal on Facebook to see if there was anyone who was in the store at the same time who noticed the situation and, as luck would have it, each other Two people reported that they experienced it and they were able to say exactly how we were dressed. So you should accuse me again that I or my friend's mother threatened someone on their staff and both people confirmed in private without one knowing about the other that their employee had his face right up to my mother's face If my friend has left then I will go through my lawyer because what you are doing is punishable under Section 187. And fortunately I can also prove through the witnesses that their employee was quite aggressive - the two people also said they had never experienced anything like that before. But I don't have to say anything more about it. The fact is that I will definitely never come to the store to eat or drink something because there are much nicer shops in the city center where you won't be treated like that. The only sad thing is that there will be an apology and an acknowledgment of the wrongdoing.

Wanted to eat there but somehow they didn't want my money. After about 25 minutes of waiting, we left. Before anything happens, we were the only guests. Hence the negative review today.

Pizza was very good and big. Unfortunately you cannot pay by card and reservations only worked to a limited extent.

I went there for the first time with my family today. After 20 minutes I went to the waitress and ordered. (Restaurant was half full.) Instead of 4 drinks only 3 came, the fourth then after a nice request. After another 20 minutes 2 pizzas arrived. The pasta dishes were missing. After another 10 minutes, I asked again whether the pasta dishes would come...the waitress said yes, they would be there soon. 10 minutes later the pasta dishes were finally there. Cutlery was forgotten again and we tore through the napkins because there weren't enough at the table. There was no apology from the waitress. So about the dishes: they all looked and smelled good and the taste was rather below average.

In my opinion it is in the mediocre range compared to the local competition. The pizza is ok, but not nearly as good as other very good Italian restaurants. The pizza is thin and the base was very firm, the toppings were, in my opinion, very sparing. The pasta was also ok, but not outstanding or adjacent to restaurants that offer better quality. The service was good. Price/performance is still good overall.

Great pizza and a good atmosphere on the edge of the square. Buskers pass by and add to the ambiance. Cash only, but lower prices so it’s a win in our book. We forgot to catch her name, but our waitress from Greece was an absolute gem. We’ll return when we pass through again.

Great place in the very center of the city, excellent pizza, very nice service and very reasonable prices considering the quality and location. I definitely recommend a visit, the garden with a view of the Old Town is an additional advantage in the summer.

Here you have a large selection of Italian dishes. The pizza dough is thin and crispy. Very Delicious.👌👌 The only thing to complain about , was that although a bottle of wine, coffee and main courses, we were politely asked to leave the table after 1,5 hours.

Incredibly delicious pizza. Thin dough, lots of cheese and fresh toppings. In my case from the daily menu with porcini mushrooms and spinach. Both the pizza and the pasta were typically Italian with a lot of oil, which I don't think is bad. Our food came in a few minutes. Our drinks were well filled in the glasses. Price for a dish between €10 and €16. The only negative point: no card payment.
