The pizza looked better than it actually was, the pasta was okay, just needed some more salt, but as I said, it was okay. The service was very friendly and nice, but unfortunately, they took two orders incorrectly, and when it was pointed out, the man behind the counter rolled his eyes. I definitely won't go back.

We were in Leipzig for work and decided to come here in the evening. We reserved a table in advance. The food, I had a salmon fillet on rocket with rosemary potatoes, was of okay quality, but the plate was decorated a bit carelessly and it could have been a little more. The service was friendly but inattentive. You almost have to beg for drinks. It was also very cold 🥶 in the restaurant.

I can only warmly recommend the location. The food and service are really top. Price-performance ratio is absolutely fine. Tastes very tasty. And the service is very friendly. The bartender really knows his craft very well. Really great cocktails. We'd love to come back. You really feel very comfortable.

We went to eat here based on a recommendation. We wouldn't have chosen it from the outside. When we saw the connecting door to the kebab (part of it) next door, we didn't know what to expect. Very disappointing experience I had a really bad experience in this restaurant. A member of staff treated me extremely rudely and unprofessionally just because I moved my chair slightly. The tone in which she spoke to me was aggressive and completely unacceptable. It was obvious that her behavior was prejudiced, which made both me and my companion feel very uncomfortable. Racism has no place in any restaurant or anywhere, especially in the service industry. I left the restaurant immediately because I don't want to support a place that tolerates this kind of behavior. I hope that management takes this incident seriously and ensures that all guests are treated with respect. I cannot recommend this restaurant to anyone who values ​​basic human decency.

Not recommended! The spaghetti carbonara was carelessly thrown onto the plate. You can't say they weren't tasty because they had no taste. Waiters are constantly shouting something loudly across the store. - Here you feel like you are in a fast food restaurant. I made my displeasure known to the service, and there was nothing more than a tired smile. Except that when paying, they asked for a tip.

Ich hatte eine wirklich schlimme Erfahrung in diesem Restaurant. Ein Mitarbeiter behandelte mich extrem unhöflich und unprofessionell, nur weil ich meinen Stuhl leicht verschoben habe. Es war offensichtlich, dass ihr Verhalten von Vorurteilen geprägt war, was sowohl mich als auch meine Begleitung sehr unwohl fühlen ließ. Rassismus hat in keinem Restaurant oder sonst irgendwo einen Platz, besonders nicht in der Dienstleistungsbranche. Ich habe das Restaurant sofort verlassen, weil ich kein Lokal unterstützen möchte, das solches Verhalten duldet. Ich hoffe, dass das Management diesen Vorfall ernst nimmt und sicherstellt, dass alle Gäste mit Respekt behandelt werden. Ich kann dieses Restaurant niemandem empfehlen, der Wert auf grundlegende menschliche Anständigkeit legt.

Die Pizza hier schmeckte sehr gut, dafür war in Verdure al Forno zu viel Öl drin und in den Gnocchi: Gnochi al Tartufo war die Trüffelsoße zu überladen und zu cremelastig. Die Nudeln: Spaghetti von Salsiccia waren ok aber auch hier war die Soße zu schwer. In Großen und Ganzen hat uns das Restaurant nicht ganz überzeugt.

Nice little restaurant in a great location with friendly staff. Unfortunately, dogs are also allowed in the restaurant. This will please dog owners and bother allergy sufferers. Since we belong to the latter, there is a point deducted for the ambience.

I can fully recommend Rizzi. Super fresh ingredients and traditional specialties. Handmade with a lot of love. The staff is also warm-hearted and accommodating. We felt very comfortable and will be happy to visit the restaurant at any time.

The dishes are very tasty and the price was also completely reasonable! The service was good, but we had to wait in places (even though there were hardly any guests) until we were served again. What was a bit strange was that at around 9:15 p.m. the lights in the kitchen went out and they started putting the chairs up and tidying up while we were still eating.

We visited this restaurant based on the many positive reviews, but were unfortunately disappointed. In an Italian restaurant you expect high quality pasta, but here they served simple, cheap pasta. The sauces had an inharmonious taste and were strongly reminiscent of cheap oils. However, the friendly and courteous waiters should be highlighted positively.

Of course, it may be that the volume increases a bit, but it still works well to entertain. Most importantly: the food is a real dream. The portions are decent and the prices are well balanced. We ordered gnochi with porcini mushrooms, fillet strips in truffle sauce. Craziness... . Simply a poem in terms of taste. Highly recommended. Also the gnochi in Gorgonzola sauce with spinach. The garlic oil offered is perfect with this. Pizza and casseroles are also recommended. We've already tried it out a bit xd. It just tastes good. You're really full afterwards. We definitely were. Located on the market square in downtown Leipzig, rustic and cozy. In summer there is a large outdoor area right on the market square. The service is good, the waitresses are in a good mood, the food was tasty and plentiful. We had pasta and it was excellent. The prices are reasonable for the number of portions.

Got a nice, cozy table for 2 people with an old dog at short notice. Food was hot and very tasty. Drinks well chilled and the service was very friendly. We will come again!

Pizzeria directly with a view of the market square from the large outdoor area. The pizzas were very tasty, lots of toppings but also very thin and crispy bases. The service was very quick and the food and drinks came very quickly. The kids got a heart-shaped pizza. Unfortunately, panacotta was only available with different sauces and no strawberry sauce. We were there on Saturday evening, so it's best to make a reservation, we just managed to get a spot. There is still room for improvement in terms of ambience.

Because of the good reviews, we as a family chose this restaurant. Our salami pizza was thin as a sheet of paper and unfortunately didn't really taste good, but our daughter's margarita pizza was good. At least the base was thicker and the cheese topping was noticeable. However, we then waited about another 15 minutes for a pasta dish, which is a no-go... The waitress was friendly, but the reference to “cash only” only came when paying. All in all, not really a recommendation… What a shame!!

Another visit from 10/19/24: We went to the Rizzi Pizzeria again. The pizzas were again very tasty, unfortunately they got cold too quickly but that's understandable given the thin dough. Price performance top. The service was very attentive and friendly. Amir deserves special mention. Unfortunately, the only point of criticism is that the music is too loud. We'll definitely be back. We went to Pizzeria Rizzi today and, as always, it was delicious. The portions are very generous and at a fair price. We always enjoy coming here.

I'm Italian and don't like to eat Italian food when I'm abroad (i.e. almost always because I live in DE but not in Leipzig). Today I was really in the mood for some "comfort food" and according to TripAdvisor the Pizzeria Rizzi is very good, even though it's right in the middle of the old town, where there are usually only rip-offs for tourists. From the outside the restaurant looks rather anonymous, but inside it is more reminiscent of an ice cream parlor, standardized and without much imagination. The menu is very large, I chose something from the seasonal menu with mushrooms. The food was really tasty, the Greek waiter was extremely friendly and quick, the prices were low for the old town but the quality was really high and I finally enjoyed a real espresso macchiato, great joy! The only drawback: only cash is possible, but for me it's a small thing.

The pizzas are nice and crispy with a thin base, the pasta dishes are spicy. Busy atmosphere, as befits an Italian restaurant ;-). Only cash payment is accepted (clearly stated at the entrance door and on the menus).

At first glance the ambience may seem a bit old-fashioned BUT I love it, it's just authentic and there's something going on and you almost feel like you're on holiday somewhere in Italy. Essen war wirklich sehr sehr lecker. Gnocchis mit Gorgonzolasoße und Spinat ist empfehlenswert. Schrecklich war die Bedienung. Anfangs sehr freundlich, dann aber teilweise übergriffig und unangenehm. Gerade für eine Frau ist es nicht schön von so einem Kellner bedient zu werden. Werde nicht mehr hingehen.

The food was super delicious! That's why we like to come from Zwickau and eat in this location. The service could be a little better, for example that the cutlery is brought without asking and you can start eating :) or that the dishes come together if possible and not all individually. But that's just a small comment! Otherwise we really enjoy being guests here!

We ate here 2 nights running. I had the chicken and mushroom gnocchi on the first night and was so good both hubby and I had it the 2nd night. Pizza was Huge (thin crust) and lots of toppings to choose from. There is a qr code on the front of the menu to translate from German to English so easy to order. Only down side was they don't take cards only cash.
