Always a good place for Italian food or even just an aperitivo outdoors. After our movie, we were once again very well looked after around 8:45 pm.

My dear waiter Francesco, I've known him for 15 years, he's always nice to us, and he serves the best food in Leipzig. I'd give him even more stars if I could!

I sat outside in the sun on a beautiful November day. The service was excellent, the food was delicious, and really good value for the location. I'll definitely go back! 🤗 There was so much food, I couldn't finish it all! 😉

We stopped by here quite spontaneously today. The restaurant was only half full. The staff were friendly, the food arrived very quickly, and the prices were reasonable. Be warned, the desserts are quite large! But everything tasted absolutely delicious, we're very happy, and we'll definitely be back! :D

The Antipasti Classico was mediocre, the Focaccia Greca reminded me of a frozen ready-made product without any seasoning. I won't be going back here.

Excellent restaurant with very nice staff and very good pasta

First time at "Rizzi" – and I'm pretty impressed! Minor deductions for the appetizer: the bruschetta (classic) was missing the garlic. The pizzas (prosciutto, pancetta) were truly fantastic, and I'm not an easy person to please! Definitely up there in my top ten! The service was remarkable; the restaurant was packed in the evening; it was "buzzing." Still, extremely friendly, fast, and efficient. And as for the "buzzing": I found that very positive in this lively part of town. Yes, it was loud, but it suited me in this place.

The pizzeria has plenty of seating, but the tables are very unloved, with no candles or decorations. The service was okay, and the food was reasonably priced.

Very good pizza, price is high but appropriate

The food overall wasn't particularly tasty. Of the four different dishes, only the pizza was okay, unfortunately without oregano; the thin crust was tasty. No pepper or salt was provided. Service was superficial but friendly. The value for money for the food and the atmosphere overall wasn't right for us. Especially the half a mozzarella, cut into four unsightly pieces, with a few basil leaves, carelessly placed together (no joke, so that the wind blew the basil off the table before we even started eating because it had just been placed on top without any dressing/oil), so we took it with humor and had to smile about it to get over the disappointment. All in all, we wouldn't come back and don't recommend it either.

The food was good and not too expensive. The service deserves 5 stars because, despite the crowds, the waitresses were simply Italian-friendly. The ambiance depends: If you like hustle and bustle and enjoy looking out over the market square and the FuZo, this is the place for you. Romantic and cozy, however, is something else entirely. We went there twice.

The food was good, but the staff was very rude. You didn't feel welcome or valued as a guest. The "customer is always right" principle was nowhere to be seen. The service was so rude, as if we were unwanted guests. I can't recommend this restaurant—there are many other restaurants in the city where you'll be treated kindly and the food is just as good.

Pizzeria Rizzi is worth a visit. The pizza was well-topped, the crust was nice and thin, and overall very tasty. Service took a bit of time, but that was probably due to the high number of customers. Otherwise, the staff were very friendly and accommodating to all requests. I definitely recommend it.

That was absolutely terrible. The chicken breast was overcooked and the sauce was extremely greasy. The staff were unfriendly, rude, and arrogant! I will never go there again. I definitely can't recommend this place.

One of the best carbonaras I've ever had. Great pasta and very large portions. I highly recommend it when visiting Leipzig!

Unfortunately, disappointing. We were there on Saturday, and yes, it was crowded, so I understand that you have to wait a bit longer for the food. But I honestly don't think it's okay that the child was the last to get his food and that the food came at long intervals. This meant that my husband got his food, I got it about 10 minutes later, and my child about 5 minutes later again. So, there was about 15 minutes between the first and last meals. Unfortunately, eating together wasn't possible. Except for the part with the burnt pizza base (black), the food was delicious. You have to look for the children's dishes on the menu. A separate children's menu would make ordering easier. A mime also came by and made a balloon figure for my child without asking and asked for money. The staff didn't send it away, which created an annoying situation for me, as I also had no change, and my child is already too old for balloon animals, but he accepted it, irritated.

I haven't been there in a long time. The staff is still very friendly (often the same staff for years). The atmosphere has never been particularly good. Unfortunately, the pizza quality has declined significantly. Years ago, it was a great value for money. That's definitely over. Now it's just a typical downtown restaurant: very mediocre.

Delicious. Friendly. Fast. We went there twice in one weekend because we enjoyed the food so much.

The food, or rather my pizza, was very tasty. I was pleasantly surprised simply because it was something new. However, the pasta wasn't particularly tasty and the mushrooms weren't fresh.

The food and drinks were tasty, but they didn't blow me away. The pizza dough, while nice and thin and crispy, was also a bit dry and flaky. I wouldn't call the ingredients inferior, but they're still far from those used in authentic Italian cuisine. They use wholesale ingredients here, which is perfectly acceptable given the density of customers. After all, the restaurant doesn't claim to be an authentic Italian restaurant (carbonara with cream and Hawaiian pizza are still popular with German palates ;). But – and this deserves special praise – the staff is extremely friendly, and service is very quick. We only waited a few minutes for our drinks, and the food was also served in just under 10 minutes (!). That's not to be taken for granted with such a large number of customers, chapeau! Considering the restaurant's fantastic location, the slightly higher prices are also acceptable in my opinion. I would experiment a bit more with the dough. A little more hydration, letting the dough rest longer, maybe trying a different flour and adjusting this again, and I'll happily give it a fifth star on my next visit. I can recommend this place with some reservations!

The pizza was very good, and the woman serving us was nice as well. But aside from the drinks we ordered and paid for, we also asked for some tap water. Afterwards, we saw that we had paid 50 cents for 10 cl of tap water, which is kind of insane to me, because it's almost the same price as bottled water. Either you warn the customer, or you just provide it for free. What goes through your mind making a customer pay for some tap water, when that same customer has ordered food ánd another drink as well? Crazy

When we asked if we could pack up two almost full portions of food left over from another table to give to the homeless, you helped without hesitation – with a sincerity that touched us deeply. Not only was the food lovingly packaged, but you even included cutlery and gummy bears – a small gesture with a big impact. After just five minutes, we were able to pass the food on to those in need, who were infinitely grateful. For us, Rizzi Pizzeria has since stood for genuine kindness, openness, and social commitment. You are not only top-notch culinary experts, but also a great role model. Thank you for this wonderful experience! Instead of throwing away leftover food, we can use it to help people who truly need it. Many other restaurants could follow suit in this regard.

They were the worst noodles I've ever eaten.

Food was good but a bit too salty and we preferred pasta to pizza and we were not smiled at

Very bad, nothing fresh, tastes awful, and the price is so high for this kind of food. It's an Italian restaurant but the food is Bollywood! How can that be?! I paid around €60 but hardly ate anything because it wasn't tasty. I was very disappointed.

The "nice" waitress Alica doesn't think it's necessary to take orders so close to closing time! She argued, "She won't get a tip." There were four of us. One meal was completely forgotten! After asking four times, it was brought cold! Another waiter was so kind, he was understanding and took the order away. Unfortunately, never again.

The pizza was bland without seasoning, the crust was wafer-thin, and difficult to cut with a knife. The plate was much too small. The pizza went over the edge of the plate. The pizza looked like it had been bombed.

We sat outside. The service was excellent. The pizza, however, was a bit like a tarte flambée. If you like it thin and crispy, that's fine, but it definitely wasn't my thing...

"Tourist" pizzeria with "tourist" pizzas served at supersonic speed .. but nevertheless good and tasty and with classic dough. Friendly and efficient service, welcoming environment .. especially when it is possible to be outside .. practically on the main square.

15 euros for spaghetti with shrimp – unfortunately, they weren't fresh, but obviously pre-cooked and just reheated. I ate outside, but the flies made it impossible to eat in peace. My husband ordered a pizza – it was okay, but nothing special.

We had dinner here and were completely satisfied. We managed to snag a table outside and ordered a Pizza Spinzola (fresh leaf spinach, Gorgonzola, roasted almonds, tomatoes) and Pasta Agrumi (spaghetti, Frutti di Mare, arugula in an orange and almond pesto). Both were exceptionally delicious. The spaghetti was cooked al dente, the seafood was used generously, everything was well-balanced and not too "fishy" but not too little either. The pizza was crispy, well-topped, and so delicious that it was quickly devoured. And the prices were quite reasonable at just under €14/€15 each.

We ate there for the town festival. Despite the busyness, the wait time was short. We had tagliatelle and pizza. It was absolutely delicious. The service was very friendly and accommodated our special requests.

The food there was truly amazing, and the prices for such high quality are unbeatable! When we were there, it was very busy and the service was super friendly, although two women serving so many people was a bit unfair. The interior is quite nice; it could use some decorating, but otherwise, nothing special!

Very good pizza, professional and efficient service

We were looking for a nice Italian restaurant near our hotel, we looked at one but no go. Rizzi was next and I’m so happy we came here! The mushroom ravioli came out piping hot and so good! We ate so quickly I forgot to take a photo. I really recommend it! Our next plate was the Romagna Pizza, which was a really good thin crust pizza! All in all we loved our dinner and recommend to eat here!

For us, it wasn't a restaurant to linger in, as it's very noisy. But the food is really good. This was one of the tastiest pizzas I've had in a long time. Nice and thin, I love it that way 😀 The servers are very friendly and attentive.

The food is very good, and the staff is friendly and attentive. When ordering pizza, however, you have to be careful about which base pizza you're ordering when you add extras, as you can easily end up paying too much. All in all, though, the pizzeria is quite reasonably priced. There's a high chair with a cross-belt so the kids can't just stand up on their own, which is very convenient.

Restaurant OK, service OK. I ate a small meal, what can I say? It tasted and looked good, if it weren't for the open kitchen. Three employees at work, so everything was fine. But what about hygiene?? No gloves are worn, salads and food are arranged with hands on the plate, in between at the cash register, used dishes are cleared away, etc. Hence only three stars, a shame that ruins all the positives.

There were two of us, around 2 p.m. on a Wednesday. The weather was perfect. We had three different antipasti plates and bread, Aperol, and two drinks. Everything was perfect, super delicious, the staff was incredibly friendly, and everything was served quickly. We'd be happy to come back.

The lasagna was anything but delicious. It was very poorly made, with hardly any meat, sheets of pasta stacked on top of each other, and the price was €15. That was a truly bad experience. 😯

I came to Rizzi's today to eat something. The service was excellent, there were two super friendly Italian waitresses Sofia and Valentina who served me without any problem. The pizza I ordered (Parma rucola) was good but the panna cotta was spectacular and I recommend it.

The food was mostly delicious. Pizza was great. but unfortunately the service wasn't good...hardly anyone came...we were a table of 10, we would have liked to drink or eat more, but by the time a waiter came, we lost the desire to order.

Unfortunately I can't say anything about the quality of the food, BUT... The service we experienced was bottom drawer..! We reserved a table for 6 people for Saturday at 5:30 p.m. and unfortunately arrived 10 minutes later. We were looked at askance as soon as we walked in (apparently they weren't interested in a small group of JGA girls...). People immediately shook their heads and discussed among themselves in Italian (?). When I said we had made a reservation, people continued to argue among themselves instead of talking to us. One lady then told me in an extremely annoyed tone that she had been waiting for us, but that she couldn't keep the table free forever on Saturday. She waited until 5:30 p.m. and then gave the table to the next guests. 5:30 p.m.!? I emphasized again that the table had only been reserved for this time. She had already kept the table free since 5 p.m. (OK, I just don't know why that was our fault, but fine.) I told her that we also tried calling to let them know it would be a few minutes later, but no one picked up. That was denied. She would have been near the phone the whole time. Then she pointed to her watch, which showed 5:42 p.m., and said that she had waited for us even 10 minutes longer. That's not how it looked to me at the tables, but of course I can't prove it. They literally tried to drive us out of the restaurant. Because we didn't want to disturb the other guests, we left without causing a disturbance. I've never experienced anything like this anywhere!

A highly recommended place, next to the Market Square. Great pasta and exquisite service. And the price is not bad.

We waited half an hour until someone came to serve us. Meanwhile, waitresses smoked outside the restaurant and just quietly watched us. That doesn't work at all!

This is of course a very good place to sit if you can be on the terrace. A small snack that isn't available on every corner. Definitely recommended and would be happy to come back again.

Very center of Leipzig. Nice Italian food and quick service. The problem was the language, but we found the way to communicate :) Big portions and delicious pasta. A bit expensive but because of the location. We had a good time.

We were in Leipzig for work and decided to come here in the evening. We reserved a table in advance. The food, I had a salmon fillet on rocket with rosemary potatoes, was of okay quality, but the plate was decorated a bit carelessly and it could have been a little more. The service was friendly but inattentive. You almost have to beg for drinks. It was also very cold 🥶 in the restaurant.

I can only warmly recommend the location. The food and service are really top. Price-performance ratio is absolutely fine. Tastes very tasty. And the service is very friendly. The bartender really knows his craft very well. Really great cocktails. We'd love to come back. You really feel very comfortable.

We went to eat here based on a recommendation. We wouldn't have chosen it from the outside. When we saw the connecting door to the kebab (part of it) next door, we didn't know what to expect. But the food (Spaghetti Carbonara and Bolognese, Insalata Mista) was very, very fresh and delicious, delicious. Staff very friendly and accommodating. Small note: cash payment only.

Very disappointing experience I had a really bad experience in this restaurant. A member of staff treated me extremely rudely and unprofessionally just because I moved my chair slightly. The tone in which she spoke to me was aggressive and completely unacceptable. It was obvious that her behavior was prejudiced, which made both me and my companion feel very uncomfortable. Racism has no place in any restaurant or anywhere, especially in the service industry. I left the restaurant immediately because I don't want to support a place that tolerates this kind of behavior. I hope that management takes this incident seriously and ensures that all guests are treated with respect. I cannot recommend this restaurant to anyone who values ​​basic human decency.

Not recommended! The spaghetti carbonara was carelessly thrown onto the plate. You can't say they weren't tasty because they had no taste. Waiters are constantly shouting something loudly across the store. - Here you feel like you are in a fast food restaurant. I made my displeasure known to the service, and there was nothing more than a tired smile. Except that when paying, they asked for a tip.

Ich hatte eine wirklich schlimme Erfahrung in diesem Restaurant. Ein Mitarbeiter behandelte mich extrem unhöflich und unprofessionell, nur weil ich meinen Stuhl leicht verschoben habe. Der Ton, in dem sie mit mir gesprochen hat, war aggressiv und völlig inakzeptabel. Es war offensichtlich, dass ihr Verhalten von Vorurteilen geprägt war, was sowohl mich als auch meine Begleitung sehr unwohl fühlen ließ. Rassismus hat in keinem Restaurant oder sonst irgendwo einen Platz, besonders nicht in der Dienstleistungsbranche. Ich habe das Restaurant sofort verlassen, weil ich kein Lokal unterstützen möchte, das solches Verhalten duldet. Ich hoffe, dass das Management diesen Vorfall ernst nimmt und sicherstellt, dass alle Gäste mit Respekt behandelt werden. Ich kann dieses Restaurant niemandem empfehlen, der Wert auf grundlegende menschliche Anständigkeit legt.
