Das Essen war sehr gut und das Personal war auch sehr freundlich.

Ich war enttäuscht. Ich hatte viel Gutes über das Restaurant und das beste Sushi gehört, aber weit gefehlt. Der Service war miserabel. Die asiatische Bedienung am Ende war super, die andere hingegen sehr unhöflich und nervös wegen ihrer Fehler. Wir hatten vier verschiedene Sushi-Rollen, die waren okay. Für diese Qualität aber viel zu teuer.

Sushi mit außergewöhnlichem Geschmack und hervorragender Qualität! Die Zutaten sind frisch und geschmacklich auf höchstem Niveau. Die Frühlingsrollen hingegen sind mit 4 € pro Stück bei ihrer sehr kleinen Größe deutlich zu teuer und erinnern preislich eher an eine Sternerestaurant-Kalkulation als an ein angemessenes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis

Hier, kann ich gerne 5 Sterne verteilen. Wir haben zu dritt auch ohne Reservierung an einem Donnerstag gegen 17:30 Uhr noch einen Platz bekommen. Die Fischpräsentation in der Auslage sah sehr gut aus. Das Sushi hat sehr gut geschmeckt und hat auch sehr gut ausgesehen. Der Service war topp.

Seit 15 Jahren zählt ein Besuch bei Tokyo zu meinen Highlights bei einem Mannheim Besuch. Hier gibt es qualitativ immer sehr gutes und leckeres Sushi, egal ob hier im moderneren Q5, oder im Laden um die Ecke. Bin eher Fan des puren Sushi (selbst in Japan war es nicht unbedingt besser), mag aber auch mal flammbiert/ frittiert, was es hier auch gibt. Nur die Getränkeauswahl v.a. an anti-alkoholischen Getränken (Aperitivs, Schorlen) könnte schon größer sein. Der Grauburgunder ist sehr empfehlenswert. Sicherlich gibt es in MA auch neue Sushi-Läden, die vielleicht mehr "fusion" machen, aber Tokyo bleibt Tokyo. Totgesagte leben länger ✌🏻

Ich denke, es wäre besser, wenn die Mitarbeiter bei der Zubereitung Handschuhe tragen würden mit Sushi Kochen oder sushi machen um die Sauberkeit und die Hygienevorschriften einzuhalten. Für mich ich möchte nicht zurück hier essen nicht mehr.

Sehr lecker. Ich hatte Saschimi von Jakobsmuscheln, Lachs, Tunfisch und etwas undefinierbarem. Wir waren lange dort und wurden dabei nicht bedrängt, obwohl wir nur gegessen hatten.

War alles super. Essen perfekt, Service super freundlich. Sehr schnell. Gerne immer wieder, kann ich jedem empfehlen :)

Das Sushi schmeckt außergewöhnlich gut. Der Service war nicht hundertprozentig aufmerksam, aber grundsätzlich nett. Das Ambiente ist für meinen Geschmack etwas kühl. Aufgrund des tollen Essens lohnt sich der Besuch jedoch 👍🏻

Simply outstanding. I spent a long time thinking about where to go for sushi in Mannheim. I chose this restaurant based on the reviews and haven't regretted it. Very friendly service; pleasant atmosphere. Excellent nigiri – buttery soft (bluefin tuna and salmon) – the ratio of fish to rice was perfect. The roll with avocado, cream cheese, and seared tuna was also nice. It came with Ashahi. I highly recommend it… go there.

Tokyo Sushi serves the best sushi in the entire Rhine-Main area. The quality is simply top-notch, and the service is always very friendly, fast, and attentive. The ambiance is upscale and modern. We've been coming here regularly for years.

Highly recommended for lovers of Asian and Japanese dishes. Also strongly recommended: reserve a table or seats well in advance. The atmosphere, selection, and taste of the dishes are excellent. I'd be happy to return.

I come here really often, the best place I know for sushi, I can’t find anything that’s matches the Japanese quality of sushi as much as this place!! The staff is always nice and the portions are fair for the price you pay.

The food was very good, and the portions were generous. Unfortunately, the service was very, very slow. We also waited a very long time for the sushi, more than an hour. They were out of some ingredients, but we weren't informed until the sushi was served.

The sushi is perfect, and the staff are very friendly and attentive—except for the owner/chef. He makes many misogynistic and disrespectful comments toward women (I've experienced it often). As a woman, you feel extremely harassed here and can't enjoy your meal in peace.

Tokyo Q5 in Mannheim really impressed me! I was there recently, and the location in Q5 is simply perfect. The restaurant itself is modern and stylishly decorated, a great mix of chic and cozy. I was thrilled with the quality of the food. The selection is extensive, but what really matters is the freshness of the ingredients. The sushi was a particular highlight – the fish was of excellent quality and the rolls were beautifully presented. The hot dishes I tried were also authentic and very delicious. One minor criticism would be the service, which could be a bit more attentive at times. I sometimes had to wait a bit for my order to be taken. But that's really just a minor issue and hardly detracted from my overall positive impression. For what you get, I think the price-performance ratio is absolutely fair. I highly recommend Tokyo Q5 to anyone looking for really good Japanese food in a great atmosphere in Mannheim. I'm already looking forward to my next visit!

Favorite sushi in Mannheim 🤍 Super delicious, always fresh, and very authentic 🙏🏾 There's a small shop in Q5 and a slightly larger one in Q4. Q5 has a relatively dark ambiance with a different selection of sushi, perfect for a romantic evening. Q4 is a very open shop with plenty of seating, including right at the counter; it's always busy. It's always super fast, and the staff are very attentive and super friendly! The prices are a bit higher, but definitely justified!

The food was okay, but unfortunately, as soon as I opened the menu, I was overcome by a shudder. Old, dirty, and tattered. This doesn't reflect the quality the restaurant itself sets for itself in terms of its prices. The service was friendly, but the food arrived late and was garnished with little imagination. The taste was nothing to complain about. All in all, a rather disappointing experience for the price.

What can I say? I've been to Tokyo at least once a week for years. For me, it's the best 🍣 sushi within a 100 km radius😋

Good sushi at fair prices with very good service.

We had the mix carpaccio, gyoza, the house salad with grilled salmon skin, various nigiris and also wagyu... everything was a dream. The nigiris have a perfect ratio of fish and rice, the proportion of rice in other sushi restaurants is often quite large, so that the fish is lost in taste... that's not the case here! It was the second time we were here. We live 100 KM away from Mannheim, we will definitely eat here again the next time we visit Mannheim. Many thanks also to the very personable and friendly lady who served us. 🙏👍👍👍

The food comes out slowly, but the taste is good. The ingredients are fresh and not fishy.

The fish carpaccio is divine. The grilled Ebi Teppanyaki shrimp from the kitchen are also a hit. We love the Ebiten Mega Roll with eel and warm fried shrimp. I've never had better sushi in Germany.

I found it by chance and luck has smiled on us! Fresh and prepared products in front of you. The variety is quite large and although I tried many dishes, I realized that I will have to return to continue trying. It was a very good experience to have the opportunity to see food preparation and try new things. I went with children and it seems to me that I should have attended only with adults. The treatment was always friendly and professional. I just think adults would have appreciated the taste and quality of the food much more.

Best sushi and sashimi in Mannheim! My absolute favorite is the king salmon sashimi. At Tokyo Q5 you get top quality fish and the service is very friendly and accommodating. A visit to Mannheim without sushi from Tokyo Q5 is unimaginable for us.

The staff is very friendly and accommodating, the waitress as well as the chef and his trainee. We sat at the counter and were able to watch it being prepared. The food was as expected. The miso soup tastes very good. I chose a menu and it tasted good, looked good and the china was nice too.

Lots of places, nice atmosphere, but unfortunately nothing for those who are very hungry. The portions are too small for the high price and you don't really get full. Service was okay, it was quick and quick, we also got the food quickly. Nothing for the big appetite, more for the taste

By far the best sushi restaurant in all of Mannheim. Here you pay not only for the quality of the products but also for the craftsmanship. You can taste over 30 years of experience. I run sushi restaurants myself and have rarely tasted such craftsmanship. I can't think of words to describe my respect and enthusiasm. “You can copy my food, but never my soul” - is a quote from Matsuhisa & now I completely understand. Thank you so much, it was a revelation.

Went here for sushi. I can say it was really a great experience for us. The staff who welcomed us were very kind and friendly to us, they brought us the placemat for our hands at first and then the sushi arrived right away. The flavor was very good indeed and tasty. We were pleased with the many things that had on the menu. Maybe the prices are a bit high but in the end the place is centrally located and on the street. Definitely going back!

Hands down one of the best quality sushi I ever got to taste. The staff is extremely friendly, fast and pays attention to detail. They served me the drink I ordered, while the waitress was still taking my order.... which craft! Stunning, this is great service! This restaurant is absolutely fabulous 👌.
