War mit einer Freundin zum 1. mal hier und muss sagen, dass das Essen sehr, sehr gut war. Auch der Service war sehr freundlich. Deshalb 5 verdiente *. Ich werde mit großer Sicherheit wieder kommen.

Absolute recommendation for vegans and non-vegans!!😍🔥 The rooms are large and bright with a view of Immermannstrasse and Charlottenstrasse. Everything is clean and modernly furnished. The many plants in the store make it particularly atmospheric 🌱 Easy to reach by public transport and parking spaces are usually nearby (if necessary, there are several parking garages here :)) The food is super tasty and there are large portions and, above all, always enough tofu😁👌🏼

I was expecting good food and was still pleasantly surprised. The fact that everyone from young to old (and not just “cliché vegans”) eats here speaks for itself. Service was ultra fast and friendly. Prices are going really bad.

I eat here regularly and it is always delicious and fresh. The food is always ready super quickly and the portions are very large! 🫶🏼 For me this is the best vegan restaurant in the area.

Rice was dry and add-ons had weird consistencies (super fade veggies and stiff tofu was hard to chew). Seemed to be warmed up, but maybe the cooks are just very fast and can prepare a meal in 5min. The staff was very distracted and shouted through the room. Unfortunately my experience at this location was very negative, in contrast to the cologne spots.

Today for the first time there. And will definitely come back. Very friendly service. Food was super tasty. Lychee lemonade tasted very good.

A nice place where you can try vegan Vietnamese food. Vegetables and sauces are very delicious, portions are big. The only downside is; tables are small and very close together.

I always enjoy coming to eat here. The tofu tastes sensational!!! Even non-vegetarians like it. The portions are large. Never had to wait long for the dishes. And very, very tasty. The service is very attentive and very friendly. So far we have always gotten a place without a reservation.

I had an amazing noodle dish with tofu here called the flamingo bowl, as well as some stellar desserts. Highly recommend trying out this restaurant, the food is great and staff are wonderful.

I've been here several times but after today I realize I probably won't come back. The food itself is good. Today it was very crowded and the vegetables weren't really cooked through. Unfortunately, after eating we had a stomach ache (I had that the last time I was there but I thought I was just having a bad day) The tables are way too close together.

Biggest scam shop ever. I really wonder why it has such a good rating. The portion size is a big joke: A 0.3 soft drink for 5 euros. A “burger” for 7 euros. No joke, this is the most ridiculous thing I've ever seen. You really could have cried that something like that was called a burger. A small bowl of sweet potatoes for €7. For 7€ ONE Nikuman. With shops like this, it's no wonder that hardly anyone is in the mood for vegan food.

A very attractive Vietnamese restaurant on Immermannstrasse from the outside. I tried the restaurant twice and unfortunately the food was not impressive on both visits. Basically, the food is fresh and scores points for its presentation, unfortunately both starters and main courses taste rather bland and do not reach the standard of good Vietnamese street food. The inauthentic names for the food are also annoying. I understand that it's probably not that easy to translate the very meat-heavy Eastern cuisine into completely vegan, but the attempt here isn't really convincing either. The service and ambience are okay to good, although the seats on the street are unfortunately rather provisionally separated, correspondingly loud and probably intended for those who have not reserved. To1980 VEGAN - unfortunately not entirely recommended.

Very good food and friendly staff. I would have liked to give it 5 stars, but there is a very strong flaw there. I wanted to pay by card as usual and was told that only cash payment would be accepted. When I asked why this was not communicated anywhere in advance or at least shown as a notice on the map or at the entrance, the staff apologized and shrugged. Small recommendation, a restaurant in the middle of Düsseldorf's old town, with a lot of guests from abroad, should offer card payment. I had to leave my companion on site and get cash first. Too bad :-(. A great restaurant with an incomprehensible flaw.

As non-vegans, we wanted to try something vegetarian. It's interesting and I think it's a top address for vegans and vegetarians. For me, as a non-vegan, I always have the feeling that you have to compensate with too many ingredients...

I ordered King Bowl, Sua Sua Sup, and Vegan Chicken Wings, and it was good especially the soup; delish!!

The food didn't convince me. The sauce in the bowl was watery and the summer rolls were mostly filled with rice. I didn't like it.

Everything was good. Had the udon noodles (#31) I was there the opening week and ordered pho, which I didn't really like. But the udon was good. Service is also great, fast and friendly.

The food was OK, but the service left a lot to be desired. A guest at the next table had to try several times to draw attention to himself, but the waiter ignored him even though he had seen him. Smiling seems to be a foreign word for him. We were constantly pressured to order quickly instead of the waiter offering to help with the selection or making recommendations. We tried the dish for the first time and thought it tasted good, but it wasn't to my liking. I hardly ate anything, but I wasn't asked why or if everything was okay. Since I can't really judge the food, I still give it 5 stars. However, the service was far too bad.

Quality is very good, they respond to the guest's wishes, they didn't want to eat my vegetables blanched almost raw, they wanted to cook them a little longer, great... the mango curry sauce was great, but unfortunately there is a young lady with glasses in the service, probably quite new to the catering industry, she's not really slim, everyone starts working at some point, I understand too, But on the penultimate visit, when the outside temperature was unfortunately well over 30 °C, I kindly asked if I could put some ice cubes in my Bitburger Radler, because the cooling system isn't designed for such temperatures either, and I like to drink cold beer, which is what she did She also did it, grumpily, but still, but she came back to the table with a Bitburger, with ice cubes in it, but I had ordered Radler, that can happen, not a word of apology came from her lips, nothing, she gave me the glass basically torn away from the table, looked at me bitterly, and brought me what I ordered, shandy, 0.5 l... carelessly slapped onto the table... we're all very warm or hot at the moment, but if I... As I work in the catering industry, as a waitress, I know that...forgetting what the guest has ordered while walking 5 meters to the beer tap is not possible, writing it down might help your memory...within 5 meters. . I complained to my colleague, that wasn't true, I ordered beer, no shandy, that was outrageous, and absolutely without words, as a guest I was accused of lying, that's not possible... sorry..

A beautiful Vietnamese man near the Düsseldorf HBF. Service was quick and friendly. Little waiting time for starters and main course. Prices okay. Food was tasty and portions were sufficient. Vegan.

We had extra reserved place, and when we arrived, they didn't let us sit outside, in the hot oven like inside we were forced to sit. Than, the snacks arrived, at least we thouhgt like that, because real portions, even in Germany have nothing with the little food for birds they served, that was also not good at all absolute disappointment

Very disappointed. Unfriendly service. The soups #37 & #20 were very salty. Perhaps they were submerged instead of freshly cooked, which is not typical of Asian cuisine.

My partner and I became aware of this restaurant because we both ate at the To1980 location in Pempelfort a week before and were really impressed. Unfortunately, the visit to Immermanstrasse was a big disappointment. The waitress was disinterested, impatient and clearly in a bad mood. The food (both main courses and the starter) came to the table surprisingly early and at the same time - the wait lasted less than 10 minutes (the freshness of the two dishes is now questionable given that the restaurant is so full - I suspect that the food was unfortunately warmed up in the microwave became). Both the starter (Gyozas) and the two main courses (One Pilar Bowl & King Bowl) tasted very bad. It's important to mention that both my partner and I really enjoy eating Asian food often and we can't blame the disappointment on a lack of openness to Asian cuisine. A "comfort point" for the drinks - these were very good. Overall, not a nice visit - the food, service and atmosphere at the location in Pempelfort are much better and highly recommended.

The food looks great, but unfortunately doesn't taste authentic. Seems to be an Insta hotspot. Unfortunately it didn't convince us.

Das Essen war klasse, wir hatten 2 Gerichte von der Mittagskarte und waren begeistert! Die Speisen waren super lecker und total vielfältig, was bei veganen Restaurants häufig nicht der Fall ist. Wenn man asiatisches Essen liebt und Vegetarier ist, ist das Restaurant optimal! Aber auch nicht-Vegetarier sind hier gut aufgehoben und werden nichts vermissen.

I am no stranger to Vietnamese vegan food, as I eat annually in Vietnam itself and in Buddhist pagodas. Unfortunately, there is a cramped attempt to make vegan food “hip”. But that doesn't work if you want the taste to stay real. My food was totally over salted and the taste was unidentifiable. The vegetables were ok, the sauces definitely not. You should use vegan fish sauce instead of experimenting with ketchup or hoisin. The long drink was warm and the alcohol content was too high, so I had to leave half of it. The price is okay. Hygiene needs to be worked on. The cutlery was inadequate and not clean.

The BEST vegan restaurant I have ever eaten at!

We always liked coming here because of the food and now we had family visiting and we wanted to show them the shop and the food, but we left because of the poor service. The staff at To1980 VEGAN has never been particularly friendly and tried hard, but today's service staff were just unpleasant and cheeky in their tone. Others may put up with it that way, but thanks to today we were able to go to a really better store, so it was good for that :)

One of my friends speaks south Vietnamese and figured out that the staff that were currently on shift that day also spoke south Vietnamese, so she tried to converse with our server to order our food and she didn’t understand what my friend was trying to say. At first we thought maybe she didn’t speak Vietnamese until we overheard her speaking with her colleagues with obvious south Vietnamese. After we ordered our meals we had to wait an approximate 10 minutes for it to arrive. Then when we arrived my friend asked for a server to bring us sauces, since the soup was really bland. The server told us that they didn’t have any sauces. When we looked around it was obvious everyone besides us had sauces, so now we’re left assuming that because we’re tourists we don’t get the same service as locals. Afterwards we wanted to pay for our meals, the staff wanted to round up the bill as if we were willing to tip them after their service. It was a huge disappointment after eating here. The soups were really bland and do not do the Vietnamese culinary justice, despite it being vegan. Apparently we were scammed as well, for example; on the menu it stated a dish was 12,90 and we were charged 13,90. It’s not a huge difference but if the menu needs to be updated make sure to inform the customer beforehand or give them the updated menu and not an outdated one, it doesn’t make much sense to keep outdated menu’s around. Perhaps it could’ve been because we asked for the English version of the menu, yet again, as a restaurant you should update the menu to avoid such circumstances.

We've been eating here regularly for two years now. Good vegan food, very tasty, very fast service and the portions are great too. For vegan food, this is definitely one of my favorite restaurants in Düsseldorf and can definitely recommend it.
