I've never eaten there and probably never will if the boss talks about serious matters like a waitress spitting in a customer's drink and there are no measures in place (maybe fire that very waitress!!!! 🤢). That's why I can't recommend this restaurant! It's a real shame that they don't really want to care about the well-being of their customers and don't seem to care.

Tapas were ok, main courses quite disappointing. In addition, the service was very overwhelmed and sometimes unfriendly. The main course came at the same time as the starter and was then kept warm in the kitchen until the waitress took the starter away from us - even though we were still eating. In addition, long waiting times for orders and cashing out.

Inconspicuous restaurant on a side street on Nordstrasse in Pempelfort. The interior space is fully utilized in terms of tables. The food is authentic, tasty and reasonably priced.

It was my first time in Düsseldorf and I decided to eat at Quintooo based on recommendations, but I bitterly regretted it afterwards. The food itself is quite good, nothing outstanding but still good. The ambience was also very nice and inviting! However, the service was terrible!! One waitress in particular didn't work at all and was simply unfriendly and constantly rolled her eyes when asked... Maybe it would be time for the lady to change careers that suit her better... Too bad about the restaurant.

Since the change of ownership, there have been increasing reports of unreliability. Reservations are not honored, opening times are changed at short notice and the quality of the food fluctuates. The once reliable restaurant seems to be losing its charm. Conclusion: The Quintooo remains a place with potential, but the new owner urgently needs to work on its reliability and how it treats employees. The delicious Vietnamese dishes and pleasant ambience cannot hide the fact that the restaurant is currently suffering from a lack of professionalism and a negative working atmosphere. Guests should be prepared for possible disappointments and, if necessary, have an alternative plan spontaneously. It remains to be hoped that Quintooo will find its way back to its old strength by valuing both its guests and its employees.

Lunch was all oki, but not amazing.

We visit Quintooo regularly. There has been no drinks menu for a few weeks now. The question about a card was answered about 3 weeks ago with the information that it was currently being renewed. When we visited today, the drinks menu was still not available. The fact is that food is cheap, especially at lunchtime, but drinks are absolutely overpriced for an average restaurant. So I paid €4.50 for a Pils from the 0.33 liter bottle. Not acceptable to me, especially not that a drinks menu is deliberately not offered.

Food was super tasty and value for money was right. But unfortunately the service ruined everything. We only waited 15 minutes for the cards even though the store was almost empty. Then we waited another 45 minutes for the starters. Unfortunately no one came to clear it up. After waiting an hour for the main course, we asked if we had been forgotten. The store was now very full and well attended. The waiters probably couldn't keep up. We also had to wait a long time for the bill. Unfortunately only a total of 3 stars!

That was a wonderful dinner. If you like Vietnamese food and tapas, you should come here. Because here you can find both combined in perfection. The two waitresses gave us excellent advice and were always there when we had a request. The drinks and especially the food were excellent! Big compliments to the kitchen! We will be spending another evening in this very stylish, warm and cozy atmosphere very soon.

I used to go to Quintoo a lot! Today I was there again after a long time. Unfortunately disappointing! The outside area was very dingy and dirty. Butt butts and old napkins on the floor everywhere. The tables are all dirty. The plants were dead. The staff sat around on the benches inside and had little or no desire to work. The menus are totally messed up, you could just print new ones? The food was okay but we were ignored for over an hour. Nobody wanted to sell us drinks… not bad, because unfortunately they were always disproportionately expensive. Standard wine for €8.50 a glass? Mmm…

Nach unserer letzten eher schlechten Erfahrung vor ein paar Wochen im Quintooo (über die ich keine Bewertung geschrieben hatte) waren wir vor ein paar Tagen wieder dort. Ergebnis: Seit dem Inhaberwechsel ist es einfach nur schlecht! Wir waren in den ganzen Jahren vorher Stammgast, aber jetzt ist es einfach schlecht und komplett überteuert. Die Ente war in undefinierbarer Glutamatsoße einfach ersoffen, nix Knuspriges dran, voller Fett. Die Information haben wir an den Kellner weitergegeben, nach Rücksprache mit der Küche hieß es "das war nur heute so". Bei der Abrechnung habe ich es dem Inhaber sehr deutlich kommuniziert, dass wir in diesem Restaurant viele Jahre Stammgast waren und dass die Qualität seit seiner Übernahme leider sehr nachgelassen hat. Er hat fairerweise die Ente nicht berechnet. Auch die Getränkepreise sind mittlerweile völlig überhöht. 9 Euro für eine Flasche Wasser - sorry, es handelt sich nicht um ein Lokal mit Michelin-Stern. Es tut mir leid, aber wir werden - wie mittlerweile viele ehemalige Stammgäste - nicht wiederkommen.

We called to ask nicely if we could reserve a spot, outside if possible. The employee rudely informed us that reservations could not be made outside. It's a shame, but with such a "start" we've already lost the desire to experience the service in person!

Unfortunately the service was poor. Why do I write my order on the round piece of paper if everything arrives in a mess afterwards and the waitress doesn't know which number is which dish? In addition, the main course was forgotten for me and 2 other guests and was only delivered 30 minutes after the remaining 12 guests had already received their main course. There was no dessert left either. Super performance. I will never enter this restaurant again, no recommendation. I have enough.

We went to Quintooo for the second time this evening because we really liked the food the first time. The service was also conspicuous by its absence the first time. But today this became even more extreme. After we sat down, even though there wasn't much going on, we had to wait 15 minutes for the menu, then another 20 minutes until someone took pity on us after several times to take our order. The food came quite quickly and was very tasty, but unfortunately two dishes were already cold. The table was not taken care of during the meal. We didn't even have the opportunity to reorder drinks. Conclusion: I will never eat at this restaurant again, even though I really like the food. However, the lack of service ruins the evening.

Our second visit here. The 1st time we visited about a year ago and were blown away by the taste, the service and the interior. This time everything went bad from the very beginning. We asked for a big bottle of still mineral water as a drink. We got an opened bottle filled with tap water. Not something you expect for almost 9EUR. After telling the waiter that we were not sure the water was indeed mineral he apologised and brought a bottle of sparkling water. Surprised again, we then proceeded with the starter and the main. We specifically ordered dishes which were supposed to be full of flavour like lemongrass. Unfortunately, almost no flavour was to be detected. Extremely oversalted simple dishes with loads of soy sauce. For almost 20EUR each. On top of that the atmosphere was gone: the floor was dirty with some rice stuck to the table next to ours and the chairs looked like they hadn't been cleaned for a substantial amount of time. A very big disappointment after such a pleasant first visit. We're not coming back.

The worst restaurant ever in Düsseldorf. I have eaten Vietnamese food many times, but this is the lowest quality and tastes the worst. The coconut bun was very stale and a lot of sweetener was used. Expensive and inedible. The waiter had a very bad attitude, served the food slowly and was very rude. Will never come again. If there were zero points, I would give them zero points.

Always delicious and a reliable source for lunch. It usually goes quickly and is also varied. I can only recommend.

Very questionable manner, strange understanding of service and unfriendly employees. We stood unnoticed in the store for several minutes without being spoken to. After a while an employee came and asked if we had a reservation. We said no and were taken to a table at the back of the restaurant. After a short time, another employee came and told us in an unfriendly and annoyed tone that we could only eat until 7 p.m. (i.e. 35 minutes). She disappeared again and didn't pay any attention to us anymore, so we decided to leave. The Quintoo employees decided not to say goodbye. So I can't comment on the food, but I certainly wouldn't go here again.

Next we all had (X3) coconut soup and this was excellent and as good as we have had previously... sadly it went rather downhill after this. An assortment of 5 side dishes were a crazy mix 2 reasonably edible but uninspired dishes, next 2 meat skewers were cold, both chicken and beef? Our chicken fried wontons were flat cold and rubbery and stale tasting ( god only knows when they were actually cooked)..... how long could or should an establishment last serving this as Vietnamese food.....yes we all decided to leave after this and sadly will not return.

It was okay, but both the food and the service didn't blow us away...

quintooo is THE experience of Vietnamese cuisine. combined with attentive young staff in a casual atmosphere both outside on the terrace and in the original and uniquely designed interior. Drinks highlights for me are da chanh and, at the end, my favorite Vietnamese café, a special kind of experience, quasi meditation in coffee form.

Flair geht verloren, zu durchorganisiert. Wir waren früher oft und gerne hier. Klar, dass Essen ist nicht 1:1 wie in Vietnam, aber das erwarte ich in Deutschland auch nicht. Leider hat sich sonst einiges eingeschlichen was ich auch in anderen Restaurants beobachte und was mir die Leichtigkeit des „nett mal zusammen was essengehen“ vergrätzt. Man betritt aktuell das Lokal und anstatt in den offenen Raum schauen zu können, steht man nun vor einer Empfangs-Vitrine. Sehr einladend. Wir waren mittags kurz vor 12 die ersten - die schönen weil hellen 2-er Tische am Fenster trugen das Reserviert -Schild. Wie übrigens auch alle großen Tische. Wir setzten uns also an einen kleinen dunklen Tisch. Dann sahen wir 2 mal wie große Gruppen reinkamen, unsicher wirkten aufgrund all der Reserviert-Schilder und fragten ob für sie noch irgendwo was möglich wäre - doch Zack beiden Gruppen wurde dann der Tisch gegeben, an dem sie zufällig gerade rumstanden. Aha? Fake-Reservierungen? Sollten die freien Tische am Fenster ggf vor allem weitere Gäste anlocken? Dann die viel zu laute Musik. Was soll das? Man geht mittags häufig mit Kollegen essen und möchte sich unterhalten. Die neuerdings viel zu eng zusammenstehenden Tische und die laute Musik machen es anstrengend. Wer nur ganz lecker essen möchte kann hingehen. Wer es gemütlich und entspannt möchte findet dies hier nicht mehr so .

The owner changed at New Year's. Unfortunately, the well-known and very popular appetizer Cha Gio no longer tastes the same as before and is served differently. I still really enjoyed the main course H3.

I love a place like this! Highly recommend reserving well in advance as the place fills quickly. It seems owner run, which adds to the experience and you can be sure that you get a great service. They are a bit quirky with some creative menu designs and order sheets, as well as the decor. The food is fantastic and they have some nice home made ice tea and lemonade. We tried a number of their starters and mains as well as dessert and all were delicious. Highly recommend the mini pancakes, the bao as well as the Pho and the Crispy Chicken. They cook to order and the food arrives hot and steamy. If just every restaurant could serve with such pride and joy! Few recommendations to the place: play a bit with the ambience especially in the evening try it a bit darker, maybe do some special nights with live music, and have some more wine options and maybe local beer from Vietnam. We look forward to our next visit!

Ich persönlich finde das Essen dort vor Ort sehr sehr gut und immer frisch. Der Geschmack ist immer wieder erste Klasse man merkt einfach, dass das Gemüse frisch ist und die Zutaten. Bin öfter schon dort gewesen und werde es weiterhin machen.

Spontan hin weil uns gesagt wurde, es sei recht gemütlich und man müsse nicht zwangsläufig etwas großes essen. Jedoch wurden wir zwei mal recht unfreundlich darauf hingewiesen, etwas zu essen. Nach 30 Minuten und mehreren Getränken, wurde uns dann mitgeteilt, dass wur den Platz räumen müssen wenn andere Gäste kommen, die keinen Platz hätten. Kundenservice 6! Man hätte was gegessen, jedoch nicht auf Nachdruck und Zwang. Gemütlich sah es aus, rettet jedoch nichts mehr. Werde die Räumlichkeiten erstmal meiden und nächstes Jahr erneut testen. Für mich jedoch ganz klar durchgefallen und es gibt zig andere, gute Alternativen in Düsseldorf.

Visited here by myself when I was for work in Düsseldorf. The standout was the quick service, which was especially convenient for a solo diner. The crispy roasted duck was not only ample but also delicious.

Zumindest für den Mittagstisch ist das Lokal überbewertet. Gebratene Nudeln mit Gemüse waren in Sojasoße getränkt und das Gemüse, das man suchen musste, war fast roh. Das Fleisch war flau, nicht einmal gesalzen. Vielleicht sind andere Gerichte besser, aber zum Mittagstisch werde ich nicht noch einmal herkommen.

Sehr schickes Lokal mit ausgesprochen freundlichem und aufmerksamem Service. Unsere Auswahl an Vorspeisen und die Hauptgerichte waren köstlich. Unbedingte Empfehlung- wir kommen wieder !

Im Vergleich mit mehreren vietnamesischen Restaurants in Düsseldorf waren Vor- und Hauptspeisen sehr gut. Die Beratung bei der Auswahl der Speisen war mangelhaft, es war mehr eine Belehrung durch einen Oberlehrer und wir fühlten uns fast gemaßregelt und dadurch sehr unwohl. PS. Einen Hinweis, dass Kartenzahlung nicht möglich war, erfolgte nicht.

Einzigartiges witziges Konzept für die Speisebestellung. Nette Bedienung, sehr bemüht. Angenehme Einrichtung. Essen sehr lecker.

We were squeezed in as we had not booked on a Saturday night, but we were hungry after visiting Kunst Palast. We ordered: Bo La Lot and Banh Bao as starters, followed by Mi Tuoi Voi Ga and Ga Xao Sot Dau Phung,It was very good. Surprisingly when we went to pay we were told that the computer had crashed and they could only take cash and no receipts were available, perhaps quite convenient? Good food and service was ok, we will return.

Das Essen in diesem Restaurant ist wirklich hervorragend. Sehr lecker, tolle Speisen und an sich ist das Konzept auch gut, wenn da nicht der Service wäre. Wir waren mit einer Gruppe von 8 Personen dort. Wir hatten die Küche um eine bunte Auswahl an Vorspeisen gebeten, das war nicht möglich mit den Worten: "Ihr müsst hier schon selber arbeiten". Das war der erste Moment, wo wir komisch geschaut haben. Wenn man Getränke haben möchte, muss man "mehrfach" auf sich aufmerksam machen, denn von alleine kommt da niemand. Ich hatte darum gebeten, ob man mir mein restlichen Essen einpacken könnte - da bekam ich eine Plastikschale hingestellt mit den Worten "Bitteschön", zeitlich räumte man mir aber mein Besteck weg, so dass ich es nicht hätte in die Schale packen können - darauf habe ich hingewiesen und ohne ein Wort zu sagen, wurde mir das gleiche Besteck hingelegt. Während man als Gast noch am Tisch sitzt werden Kerzen und Lampen weggeräumt und ein Dessert wird auch nicht mehr angeboten. Vor Ort, beim Bezahlen, gab es auch eine Rückmeldung -aber ich glaube, daran war man nicht wirklich interessiert. Für mich ein absolulter Grund, hier nicht mehr hinzugehen, auch wenn das Essen echt super ist! Wen solch ein Umgang nicht stört sollte hingehen, wer aber wert auf alles legt, besser nicht.

Calm and chill environment, friendly staff, delicious food😮‍💨

Die Vorspeisen waren absolut Klasse. Der Hauptgang meiner Frau war allerdings so heiß, dass diese sich fast die Lippen verbrannt hätte. Einige Suppen kamen etwas wässrig daher. Der Service war sehr nett aber wir baten um eine Empfehlung und der Kellner konnte nicht wirklich viel zu den Speisen sagen.

The appetizers we got were very good, just FYI that they are small and meant to share a few! I got the Udon noodle soup with crispy chicken and was disappointed. The broth was not super flavorful and the chicken and noodles got soggy very quickly because the broth was VERY hot. I expected more to be honest. My husband enjoyed his crispy duck entree which had a good flavor. Service was okay. The restaurant is very cool looking with fun decorations. We might come again to try more of the small plates because there is a huge selection!

I found hair in the food in both 2x times I was there for dinner. P.S.: I had to laugh when reading the repply from the restaurant claiming "it never happened" instead of apologising. It happened a couple of years ago, after the second time I never went back. I saw it and immediately complained with the waiters in both times. The plates were not charged but I kept wondering how many hairs I had already eaten without knowing. Don't you dare saying "it never happened", maybe you don'tremember or were not working there. But I will always remember.

Wir hatten mehrere Vorspeisen, die wir uns geteilt haben, alle waren sehr lecker und schön angerichtet, der Hauptgang war super. Um satt zu werden muss man als Mann zwei Vorspeisen und ein Hauptgericht einplanen. Das finde ich aber auch normal, wenn in der Karte Vorspeisen, Hauptgericht und Nachspeisen angeboten werden. Wirklich zu empfehlen, schade das wir hier nicht wohnen, ansonsten wären wir wohl Stammgäste.

Hohe Qualität, aber überteuert in einigen Gerichten, kann mir niemand erzählen, dass eine recht kleine Portion Reis, Gemüse und nicht selbstgemacht hten Tofu für 15 Euro angemessen ist

Das Essen ist hier wirklich gut, dennoch werden wir nicht mehr kommen. Die Preise sind hoch, dafür erwarte ich einen anständigen Service, der war heute wieder unfreundlich!!! Und lieber Inhaber 8.50 für einen simplen Grauburgunder ist unverschämt (das hat rein gar nichts mehr mit der aktuellen Situation zu tun, das ist Abzocke) und wenn man im Restaurant anmerkt, der Wein sei aber sehr teuer, dann passiert folgendes : eine Kassiererin die per EC abgerechnet, die Wand anstarrt und sagt: dafür kann ich auch nichts, hat der Chef entschieden. Sorry, aber da genügt das gute Essen auch nicht mehr. Gleich 2xmal hintereinander unfreundlichen Service erlebt, ein 3. Mal brauchen wir das nicht, da lassen wir unser Geld woanders!

Frühlingsrollen waren leider zu trocken und der Weißwein zu teuer. 8.50 € fürein Glas finde ich schon recht happig!!

人気のベトナム料理屋さんと聞いて来たのですが、ランチタイムはとても賑わっていました。初めてブンを食べましたが葉で巻かれたお肉もついて美味しかったです。ただ麺料理にはお箸があれば嬉しかったです。ランチメニューは豊富でお値段もお手頃で良かったです。

Wir waren am Sonntag dort. Essen, wie immer top! Um 20:00 Uhr wurde uns dann gesagt, dass wir bitte zahlen sollten, weil sie jetzt schließen wollen 😳 Geht gar nicht!!! Einfach unverschämt! Wir sind hier immer gerne hingegangen. Aber so ein Umgang mit den Gästen geht überhaupt nicht und mein Geld gebe ich jetzt definitiv nicht mehr hier aus.

Heerlijk eten, mooi verzorgd. Als het ook nog vriendelijk wordt geserveerd was het vijf sterren.

Das Essen war super, die Auswahl riesig, auch an Veganer/Vegetarier wurde gedacht und die Portionen waren groß genug, dass ich zwei Tage davon hätte Essen können. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und immer schnell am Tisch, wenn man was wollte. Zwei kleine Abzüge: Das Restaurant ist recht klein, eng und laut und die Kartenzahlung war an unserem Besuchstag nicht möglich.

Wirklich große Portionen. Hatten zum abholen bestellt, ging super schnell. Innerhalb von 20 Minuten war alles fertig und heiß. Sehr empfehlenswert sind meiner Meinung nach die Banh Bao!

Wir waren dort spontan essen. Eine Reservierung geht über die Website, allerdings 48std vorher, oder telefonisch. Leider ging niemand ran. Wir hatten Glück und durften uns, bis zu einer gebuchten Reservierung, setzen. Wir hatten 5 Vorspeisen:Hähnchen Spieße, Edamame, Sommerrollen, Garnelen in Kartoffelspiralen und gefüllte Teigtaschen zur Vorspeise. Alles wirklich sehr frisch und lecker. Dann 1x knusprige Huhn mit Reis, und 2x lauwarme breite Nudeln mit Erdnüssen und Rindfleisch. Das Essen war wirklich sehr lecker. Dennoch finde ICH persönlich dn Preis mit über 100 Euro schon recht stabil. Also, nichts für kleines Geld aber: für die Qualität lohnt es sich drauf zu sparen. ;)

Frische, abwechslungsreiche Küche. Freundliches und schnelles Personal. Modernes Interieur und Außenbereich.

Macht Spaß aus vielen Kleinigkeiten auszuwählen. Mir schmeckte besonders gut der Mango-Gurken Salat und Rindfleischspieß. Köstlich bei dem heißen Wetter.

Entspanntes Restaurant mit großer Terrasse auf dem breiten Bürgersteig. Abends bietet es sich an, kleine Vorspeisen zum Teilen zu bestellen. Preis-Leistung ist angemessen. Das Mittagsmenü ist auch zu empfehlen. Speisen sind schmackhaft und lecker. Der Service ist schnell & freundlich.

Gefühlt ist die Qualität noch besser geworden. War eines der ersten vietnamesischen Restaurants, die den heutigen - berechtigten - Hype begründet haben. Wirklich netter, aufmerksamer Service, lockerer Laden. Und kann sich blendend einen ganzen Abend mit den Vorspeisen aufhalten (und teilen). Highlight waren diesmal die kleinen Kokoscrepes! Aber alles hervorragend.

Das Menu ist super, die Vorspeisen kann man sehr gut teilen. Essen Top. Getränke top. Terrasse draußen wenn die Sonne scheint - wir lieben es hier!

Leuke zaak. Heerlijk eten. Pure smaken. Vers bereid. Ook de wijnen zijn prima. Bediening is behulpzaam met het kiezen van de gerechten.

Alles top. Service sehr freundlich, schnell und auch der Hund wurde toll umsorgt. Vorspeisenskarte gibt's in Form von bedruckten Einzelkarten mit Fotos, tolle Idee! Essen war sehr frisch, schnell zubereitet lecker. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Food is amazing, came in also really quick. All the dishes to share (or not if you don't want to of course) are a nice way to try something from all. Staff forgot a bit about us for what it seams. Despite glasses and plates empty they didn't came looking for us. Eventually after a while had to get their attention and was mentioned that we had to hurry because the kitchen was almost closing. Let's consider this not a recurring feature and it is definitely a restaurant to recommend for the food.

Sehr schönes Konzept des Restaurants und der Speisen. Vorspeisen zum teilen sind sehr zu empfehlen. Es ist gut besucht, Reservierung sinnvoll. Es war ein schöner Abend!

Sehr empfehlenswertes vietnamesisches Restaurant. Es wird Streetfood angeboten aber auch Menüs a la carte. Alles war sehr lecker und wurde ansprechend serviert. Wenn das Wetter es zulässt, sind auch Sitzplätze im Außenbereich nutzbar. Wir werden wiederkommen. Reservierungen sind zu empfehlen. 😀

Sehr, sehr lecker! Wir waren an einem wirklich gut besuchten Feiertag vor Ort und der Service war trotzdem schnell und wirklich freundlich. Qualität des Essens ist top. Hund wurde mit Wasser versorgt. Kartenzahlung auch kein Problem. Top, absolut zu empfehlen.

Super busy and popular Vietnamese restaurant. I went here around 12 pm and the service was quick + the atmosphere was good. I ordered the fried rice with tofu, eggs and vegetables. It was delicious! The waitress even offered to pack the remaining portion as I'm still not used to German portion sizes! 😂 It is very close to my workplace. For a quick lunch, I will definitely visit this place again.

The food was tasty. The waitress zero modals, if they didn't accept kids they must write no kids, thank you. After this, I don't want to target anything better to the restaurant.

Vers authentiek goede porties en een ruime keuze. Een uitgebreide kaart met kleinere en grotere gerechten. Heerlijke wijnen en vriendelijke bediening.
