This place is so underrated!! Leute, wenn ihr in München seid, bitte tut euch selbst den Gefallen und geht hier hin. Das Essen ist so unfassbar lecker und der Service ist absolut impeccable!! Wir wurden so freundlich, höflich, professionell und umsichtig bedient. Über das Essen könnte ich einen ganzen Roman schreiben. Unglaublich gut angestimmte Geschmäcker ohne zu aufregend oder zu fancy zu sein. Es schmeckt so unfassbar lecker und das Tapas Konzept ist so großartig weil es bedeutet dass man so viele verschiedene Gerichte probieren kann 🥹 ich hätte am liebsten die ganze Karte rauf und runter gegessen - do it people, do it!! 🫶🏻

Ich war schon zweimal dort und werde wieder hingehen. Ich liebe das Fusion-Konzept und auch den Tapas-Stil.

Wir verdanken unseren Abend im TiVu einer Verwechslung und würden jederzeit wiederkommen. 😄 Die entspannte Atmosphäre und das super freundliche Personal haben uns letztlich dazu bewegt, unseren ursprünglichen Plan zu canceln und doch zu bleiben. Octopus, raw beef salad, fried rice, pak Choi, Thai basil beef und dazu eine Flasche Cremant…. Das nächste Mal nehmen wir den Rest der Karte. ;) Wir kommen definitiv wieder!

Am vergangenen Samstag zu dritt endlich mal wieder Family Dinner im TiVu und wie immer war es absolut grossartig. Wir lieben das Sharing Konzept, hatten je drei Speisen ausgewählt, sodass man viel ausprobieren kann. Hat alles wirklich hervorragend geschmeckt und ganz toll, wie dieses vielen verschiedenen Aromen trotzdem so gut zusammen passen. Als Weinempfehlung hatten wir einen Cuvee vom Weingut Knewitz und zusätzlich noch einen gekühlten Grenache - beide perfekt! Besonders möchte ich auch noch den Service hervorheben. Ganz, ganz tolle Gastgeber, die zurückhaltend, aber dennoch stets aufmerksam und fachkundig unseren Abend so außergewöhnlich begleitet haben. Wir kommen gerne ganz bald wieder!

Eines meiner absoluten Lieblingsrestaurants in München. Asiatische Tapas im Sharing Style. Jedes Gericht super fein! Wein Auswahl trotz kleiner Karte absolut stimmig und der Service einer der besten, die ich kenne. 10/10 - ich komme gerne wieder!

Dies ist ein eher westlich geprägtes vietnamesisches Restaurant, das keine Pho-Suppe anbietet. Die Speisekarte ist klein, aber der Service ist ausgezeichnet. Die gebratene Tofuhaut mit gemischtem Gemüse war eine angenehme Überraschung – köstlich! Das Personal ist stilvoll und freundlich. Ein Besuch lohnt sich, eine Reservierung wird jedoch empfohlen.

Alles an TiVu war fantastisch! Atmosphäre, Service und Essen haben meine Erwartungen übertroffen. Der perfekte Ort, um mit Freunden Gerichte zu teilen und die Atmosphäre im Zentrum Münchens zu genießen. Ich habe Thi 2016 während meines Auslandssemesters kennengelernt und freue mich riesig, dass sein Projekt so gut läuft! Er war damals schon sehr zuvorkommend zu einem Besucher, und man merkt, dass seine Persönlichkeit auch in diesem tollen Restaurant zum Ausdruck kommt 🙌🏼

Update: Wir waren wieder da und haben das vegetarische Menü des Küchenchefs probiert – es war fantastisch! Die Gerichte waren etwas anders als beim ersten Mal, aber genauso lecker! Der Service war wieder einmal hervorragend. Die Bedienung war sehr aufmerksam und freundlich, und sogar der Küchenchef kam mehrmals persönlich vorbei, um die Gerichte zu erklären. Das Essen war wirklich sehr gut. Eine moderne Interpretation typisch vietnamesischer Gerichte. Unglaublicher Geschmack und tolle Präsentation. Auch der Service war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Atmosphäre ist mir persönlich etwas zu kühl, aber sehr durchdacht, und ich bin sicher, die meisten Gäste finden die Dekoration ansprechend. Es gab auch eine gute Weinauswahl. Die vegetarischen Teigtaschen waren der absolute Wahnsinn – allein dafür kommen wir auf jeden Fall wieder!

Ein ganz dickes Lob an die Küche und den Service. Ihr macht ganz großartige Arbeit. Ein sehr aromenreiches Geschmackserlebnis mit bestem sympathischem Service….. Wir kommen wieder DANKE

Wir empfehlen 3-4 Tapas pro Person. Absolut köstlich! Jede einzelne Tapa war ein Genuss. Wir kommen bei unserem nächsten München-Besuch auf jeden Fall wieder. Vom Bahnhof aus ist es ein angenehmer, etwa 30-minütiger Spaziergang. Englischsprachiges Personal und Speisekarte.

Das TiVu ist ein kleines Restaurant mit außergewöhnlich persönlichem Service. Jeder Besuch fühlt sich herzlich und aufmerksam an. Das Essen ist hervorragend – liebevoll zubereitet, geschmacklich top und immer auf hohem Niveau. Ein wunderbarer Ort für alle, die Qualität und eine angenehme Atmosphäre schätzen. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Wir haben hervorragend gespeist! Freundliche Begrüßung, uns wurden die Jacken abgenommen und beim Gehen zurechtgelegt, das fand ich außergewöhnlich und toll. Die Bedienung war extrem freundlich und weil jemand von uns Geburtstag hatte, gab es ein Dessert (das ein Kunstwerk war) aufs Haus. besser kann man es nicht machen.

Außerordentlich freundliche und professionelle Bedienung! Das Essen ist unglaublich lecker, und die Präsentation der Gerichte sehr kreativ. Die Preise sind fair, die Qualität ist einfach hervorragend. Ich komme auf jeden Fall wieder! Auf dem Foto ist Mangosorbet zu sehen. Leider haben wir keine Fotos vom Essen gemacht, weil es so lecker war, dass wir es einfach komplett aufgegessen haben.

Wir waren zu viert an einem Freitagabend im TiVu und hatten vorab online reserviert. Dass für die Reservierung eine Kreditkarte hinterlegt werden muss, ist absolut nachvollziehbar und wirkt professionell. Der Empfang war freundlich und aufmerksam, unsere Jacken wurden direkt abgenommen. Die Sitzplätze sind etwas eng, was jedoch gut zur urbanen Atmosphäre passt. Die Einrichtung wirkt modern und stilvoll, geprägt von klaren Linien, Grautönen und einer markanten schwarzen Spiegeldecke, die dem Raum Charakter und Tiefe verleiht. Das Konzept der vietnamesischen Tapas zum Teilen ist klar erkennbar und funktioniert grundsätzlich sehr gut. Genau dafür wird das Lokal geschätzt, und das spiegelt sich sowohl in der übersichtlichen Karte als auch im Ablauf des Abends wider. Der Service war gut organisiert, aufmerksam und kompetent, eher sachlich als überschwänglich. Es war mein zweiter Besuch, und das Restaurant wirkt insgesamt klar positioniert und souverän geführt. Zu Beginn wollten wir eine Flasche Champagner bestellen, die auch auf der Karte steht, an diesem Abend jedoch leider nicht verfügbar war. Laut Service war der Champagner nicht geliefert worden, was die anfängliche Vorfreude etwas gedämpft hat. Wir haben uns anschließend für offenen Weißwein entschieden, konkret für Sauvignon Blanc und Grauburgunder. Beide waren gut ausgewählt und angenehm zu trinken. Rückblickend hätten wir bei der Menge an Gläsern vermutlich lieber direkt eine Flasche Wein bestellt. Kulinarisch haben wir zu viert jeweils vier Tapas pro Person bestellt, insgesamt also sechzehn Gerichte. Eine Person aus der Runde war Vegetarierin. Das Essen kam gut strukturiert in vier Gängen, wobei in jedem Gang jeweils ein Gericht pro Person serviert wurde. Obwohl wir Pork Belly und Seafood Popcorn bewusst doppelt bestellt hatten, kam innerhalb eines Gangs kein Gericht doppelt auf den Tisch, was sehr angenehm war und für Abwechslung sorgte. Der Service war dabei aufmerksam und gut koordiniert. Nicht alle Gerichte waren gleich stark. Der Rindfleischsalat war geschmacklich eher so lala und blieb hinter den Erwartungen zurück. Das Orange Chicken hatte für unseren Geschmack zu viel Panade und wirkte dadurch etwas schwer. Das Pork Belly war handwerklich gut gemacht, für mich persönlich jedoch etwas zu salzig. Sehr überzeugend waren dagegen die Ginger Prawns aus dem Wok mit karamellisierten Zwiebeln und Karotte, die für mich das beste Gericht des Abends waren. Auch das Seafood Popcorn gehörte zu meinen Favoriten. Es bestand aus Garnelen und Tintenfischringen in Pankomehl, kross ausgebacken und mit Mayo serviert. Das Gericht war definitiv keine Fertigware. Auch wenn mich Tintenfischringe optisch immer etwas an klassische Imbiss-Calamaris erinnern, lag die Qualität hier deutlich darüber und geschmacklich hat es überzeugt. Unsere vegetarische Begleitung war insgesamt zufrieden mit ihrer Auswahl. Besonders gut gefallen haben ihr der gebratene Reis sowie der Spitzkohl mit Sesamdressing, Edamame und Chiliöl – beides ausgewogen, klar und sehr stimmig zubereitet. Das begleitende Paar hat zum Abschluss noch Dessert bestellt, das optisch sehr ansprechend wirkte. Ich selbst habe es nicht probiert und kann es daher nicht beurteilen. Insgesamt ein angenehmer Abend mit guter Organisation, aufmerksamem Service, klarer kulinarischer Linie und einer Atmosphäre, die modern und stimmig wirkt. Auch im Verhältnis zu Qualität, Portionsgröße und Anspruch ist das Preisniveau absolut angemessen. Einige sehr starke Gerichte, aber auch spürbare Schwankungen im Detail. In Summe ein solides, gut geführtes Restaurant, das wir grundsätzlich gerne wieder besuchen würden.

Wir hatten einen schönen Abend im Tivu. Das Ambiente ist wirklich geschmackvoll und entspannt, und der Service war ausgesprochen herzlich und professionell – man fühlt sich direkt willkommen. Kulinarisch war unser Erlebnis jedoch gemischt, weshalb wir gerne ein paar konstruktive Impulse dalassen möchten: Vorspeisen: • Papaya-Mango-Salat: Dieser hat leider nicht so geschmeckt, wie man es üblicherweise kennt. Die Mango hat man kaum herausgeschmeckt, und uns fehlte die klassische Säure, die dem Gericht erst den richtigen Kick gibt. • Bo La Lot: Das war leider eine Enttäuschung. Wer das Gericht echt und authentisch kennt, wird hier leider nicht fündig – was besonders schade ist, da es ja von Vietnamesen zubereitet wird. • Spicy Beef Salat: Ein absoluter Lichtblick! Hier hat alles sehr gut gepasst und wunderbar harmoniert. Hauptspeisen: • Fried Rice: Der Reis war leider sehr fad. Er hätte mehr Geschmack und einen Ticken mehr Gemüse vertragen können; es wirkte fast so, als wäre er gar nicht abgeschmeckt worden. • Orange Chicken: Das Hähnchen war gut in der Orangensauce geschwenkt, allerdings war die Sauce zu süß. Während der Lauch als Dekoration genutzt wurde, konnten wir den Sellerie im Gericht leider gar nicht finden. • Ginger Prawns: Geschmacklich sehr lecker, wenn auch etwas zu karamelllastig (was man mit dem Reis aber gut ausgleichen konnte). Ein Kritikpunkt sind die "Riesengarnelen": Unter dieser Bezeichnung verstehen wir Garnelen der Größe U5. Die servierten Garnelen waren dafür leider zu klein. • Pak Choi: Der Pak Choi an sich war gut, allerdings war so viel Erdnusssauce darauf, dass man das eigentliche Gemüse kaum noch schmeckte. Statt der auf der Karte angekündigten Röstgemüsesauce dominierte hier die Erdnuss. Durch die dicke Schicht kalter Sauce wurde auch das Gemüse schnell kühl.

Wir waren gestern dort, ganz spontan, und hatten Glück, einen Tisch für zwei zu bekommen. Die Qualität des Essens hat uns wirklich begeistert. Besonders wichtig fand ich, dass in unseren asiatisch-vietnamesischen Gerichten, die ja oft mit Koriander zubereitet werden, fast gar kein Koriander enthalten war. Das finde ich sehr respektvoll gegenüber all denen, die den Geschmack von Natur aus nicht mögen. Der Service war hervorragend und wir hatten einen fantastischen Abend! Nächstes Mal probieren wir das Menü des Küchenchefs, von dem wir überzeugt sind, dass es auch großartig sein wird. Verdiente 5 Sterne!

Das TiVu ist für mich ein echtes Highlight in München, wenn man Lust auf vietnamesische Küche mit modernem Touch hat. Die Tapas-Variante macht den Besuch spannend, weil man viele kleine Gerichte probieren und teilen kann – von knusprigem Seafood Popcorn über Mango-Duck-Salat bis zu den vegetarischen Dumplings war alles aromatisch und kreativ zusammengestellt. Das Ambiente ist klein und gemütlich, aber stylisch, und der Service war sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Komme definitiv wieder!

Toller Service, unfassbar leckeres Essen, sehr besonders

Wir waren das erste Mal dort und wurden bereits sehr freundlich empfangen. Auch im Verlauf war der Service zuvorkommend und aufmerksam. Die Speisen waren ausnahmslos lecker und das Konzept, die Gerichte als Tapas anzubieten, die zum Teilen einladen, hat uns sehr gefallen. Das schlichte Ambiente empfanden wir als angenehm, als der Raum voll belegt war, wurde es zeitweise etwas laut.

Mein Lieblings-Asiarestaurant in München: authentische vietnamesische und thailändische Aromen, verfeinert von einem kreativen Koch. Die kleinen Tapas-Häppchen sorgen für Abwechslung und machen das Ganze zu einem echten Erlebnis. Herrlich!

Food is way to expenive for the quality and quantity you get. I was happy that the Burger King was still open, as getting full from this restaurant alone would cost upwards of 50 Euro per person.

The food is fresh and very well prepared. Here you get sophisticated cuisine at reasonable prices. The service is attentive and efficient. The ambiance is pleasant and quiet. It's a great place for a couple or a group to spend a lovely evening that will be memorable for the food as well. Parking is difficult. No terrace. Card payments accepted.

We waited for around 10 minutes before anyone noticed us and took our order. The quantity and quality of the food were disappointing. The wontons were extremely oily, with oil literally dripping from them. The ginger prawns dish had no more than three prawns on the entire plate, and the orange chicken was far too salty and also served in a very small portion also it wasn’t given with some kind of side dish like rice or salad. It wasn’t filling at all . Overall, it was not a satisfying experience.

The food was delicious. It’s like an Asian tapas restaurant. On the menu it says the food is delivered one by one, and the waiter confirmed that. we ordered 5 things expecting to have a break between each one. 3 arrived at once then the 2nd two. We were finished in 45 minutes! My advice is specifically ask for the dishes to be served one by one. Staff were lovely. The photo is of the seafood popcorn. Be warned a bottle of water is €7:50, we nearly had a heart attack at the price but soon found out that everywhere charges that and more for it. I was told you can drink the tap water but it’s frowned upon in restaurants to ask for it.

Lovely place. Not too far from Viktualienmarkt. Had the cabbage (SO GOOD) veggie dumplings, orange chicken, and pork belly.

Nice quiet restaurant with excellent Vietnamese food. The hot ginger tea was delicious. The Thai beef was quite nice.

Greeted by very friendly and attentive staff, we inspected the menu. All the dishes sounded excellent. We ordered octopus salad, duck rolls, and pork belly. For dessert, we had a delicious panna cotta. The food was exceptionally good and very exquisitely presented. We've rarely eaten so well in Munich!

Far too expensive. Drinks are only 0.33 each, which isn't stated on the menu. Definitely not worth the completely exorbitant prices.

Loved this place. Absolutely stunning venue, delicious food and great service. The Thai basil beef was incredible, duck rolls were yum and pork belly didn't disappoint. A great mix of flavors executed really well. I'll be going back when I return to Munich one day!

We had an excellent meal here today. Pleasant, friendly service. The ambiance makes you feel at home. We highly recommend Tivu.

There were three of us there, and we all had the four-course menu for €50 (€80 per person with wine). None of the dishes impressed me. Many were even downright disappointing, like the pak choi (bland in flavor). For these prices, I expect a different quality. Inside, the tables are very close together, and it gets quite loud.

Small plates restaurant with nice interior. I thought the food could’ve been more flavourful though, but for Munich it’s not bad! The price also wasn’t too expensive, I’m not rushing to go back though

Absolutely delicious food! We each had three courses, all of which tasted delicious. We had such a sweet and welcoming waiter and were lucky to get a table on an otherwise fully booked evening. Their yuzo pineapple spritz is recommended if you like fresh, slightly bitter drinks👏🏼

I like the way the owner introduces Vietnamese food to customers. This is a new approach for the mid-range restaurant segment. The dishes are presented very delicately. I ordered stir-fried beef with basil leaves, which is a dish I highly appreciate because of the softness, sweetness and absorption of the beef sauce. The stir-fried water spinach dish is also very tasty The children's food has Fried wantan and fried pork belly which are also very good when eaten with white rice The duck rolls and beef with lolot are not as expected. The beef dish cannot taste the lolot leaves. Personally, I prefer crispy duck meat to shredded duck meat in the rolls The restaurant is small but very reasonably arranged and makes the most of it, no anger. The drinks are delicious

Excellent and imaginative dishes, very varied and diverse. Excellent drinks and wines are also available. The service is attentive, competent, and very friendly in a sophisticated and tasteful ambiance with a relaxed atmosphere.

We dined here on 11/6/25, waiters were brilliant only 2 on for a very busy restaurant on a Saturday night to take food orders and prepare the drinks. We were served chicken dumplings with raw chicken inside, only I cut into the dumpling to see bright pink meat. We informed the waiter who said this was unacceptable and removed it from the bill. We have travelled for many years all over the world and never had raw meat served to us. Very disappointing with somewhere that gives the appearance and price tag of a high end establishment. Won’t be back or recommend to anyone.

We were here for dinner and the food was delicious and there are very special and tasty drinks, too. The staff was friendly and three of the small dishes were really enough for each of us.

We've been to TiVu several times. It's been excellent every time! This time we opted for the Chef's Choice. Every course was a flavor explosion! And the wine pairing was perfect! We'll definitely be back. Thank you for the truly outstanding food.

Wir haben die Chefs Choice gewählt, dazu eine Weinempfehlung. Jeder einzelne Gang war eine Geschmacksexplosion. Thi kocht mit so viel Raffinesse, wir waren wirklich überwältigt. Der Service war sehr freundlich mit einer gewissen Coolness und vor allem Wissen. Wir waren bereits mehrere Male da und werden auch immer wiederkommen.

Absolutely recommended! You could practically order anything from the menu without even looking at it. Everything is perfectly seasoned and the portion sizes are great.

There were five of us, and we ordered tapas a la carte and shared them. We enjoyed most of them, and the staff made us feel very welcome and pleasantly attended to. We would have liked to have seen more cocktails on the menu. We particularly enjoyed the coffee panna cotta with vanilla and banana cream, an unusual and delicious combination.

We had an outstanding experience at this restaurant. With three people at the table, we ordered roughly half the menu. Everything was good. The pana cota blew our minds. Service was impeccable, the the lady that took care of our table was friendly, attentive and helpful. One of the best experiences in Munich, by far.

Good but not outstanding food in fairly small portions

I recommend this restaurant due to the quality of its dishes. The service is excellent. The price of the wines is a little excessive.

Delicious food, nice ambience, good service. But it's difficult that a signature dish on an already small menu isn't there on a Saturday evening. And running out of rice in the Asian dish during the evening should never happen!

The food was delicious, we were expecting authentic Vietnamese but it was quite fusion. It was a little complicated to order because they only had a menu in German. I recommend the Orange Chichen, the Pak Choi and the Thai Basil Beef. The portions are quite small for the price, we spent more than 40 euros each and we were not completely full.

Very good Service, nothing to complain about at all! Also the interior of the restaurant were looking really nice. But unfortunately, the food was nothing special and even disappointing in some parts. E.g. the dumplings which tasted like they just were warm up out of the freezer and the Thai basil beef or the honey chicken had nothing special. In comparison to this, the raw beef salad was delicious.

A great concept in a simple atmosphere! The two of us had 8 tapas which was absolutely sufficient. We found the price performance to be absolutely justified for the quality of the dishes. Everything was beautifully prepared and very tasty. The service is also really excellent. Very attentive, friendly and accommodating. We can absolutely recommend the TiVu and will definitely come back!

My recent experience at TiVu, a Vietnamese-fusion restaurant just a stone's throw from Gärtnerplatz and the Viktualienmarkt, was truly delightful. I went with the "Chef's Choice" menu, priced at an excellent €50 per person (group of two). This offered a fantastic array of eight small, shareable dishes that showcased a creative blend of flavours. The menu takes you on a nice tapas style journey as you move from starters, to fish, meat and of course a dessert. For those interested, the €39 wine pairing is a nice accompanyment, providing four thoughtfully selected glasses that perfectly complemented each stage of the meal. The service was spot on, striking a perfect balance between attentiveness and allowing us to enjoy our conversation without feeling rushed. The restaurant's aesthetic is a lovely minimalist design, with thoughtful touches like the muted décor and unique earthen plate ware that truly elevate the dining experience. While the ambiance felt like a top-tier establishment, it's worth noting that the sparse furnishings might lead to a slightly louder atmosphere when the restaurant is busier. Overall, TiVu offers a fantastic culinary experience at a great value. I highly recommend it for anyone looking for delicious and innovative Vietnamese-fusion cuisine in a stylish setting.

Amazing fusion food and good service.

In the "TiVu" you can only make reservations for 6 people or more with a compulsory menu (49 €). But you don't find out about this on the homepage, but only in the reservation confirmation?! A cancellation fee may also apply, see photo. Three of us were here for dinner on March 11, 25. The ambience is beautiful, but later it got pretty loud. Very good food, well prepared, beautiful dishes. The portions were a bit too small for the prices. The drinks prices, e.g. 0.1 liters of wine starting at €8, are also rather high. The employee was very attentive, friendly and offered professional service. She was very knowledgeable about the menu and was able to give recommendations for allergy sufferers. We would like to treat ourselves to a visit again on a special occasion.

Excellent food - 3rd time here and still for us the BEST. Tapas auf hohem Nieveau - jeder Teller optisch sehr schön, aber der Geschmack in allen Facetten ist ein Traum. Der versteht das Handwerk und hat ein Gespür . Wirklich ein Erlebniss hier zu essen. Nicht zu vergessen, der Service ist sehr zuvorkommend. Bier von Giesinger - Riesling von Julch wir kommen gerne wieder

Nice restaurant. The food is okay. The service is decent. However, I expected more for the price. It's definitely more suitable for people who value "stylish" and are willing to pay for it.

Very tastefully decorated, fantastic food, great service! We accidentally arrived an hour before our reservation, but were still greeted and seated extremely warmly. The two of us ordered eight tapas. Every course was perfect, the portions were generous, and the taste was top-notch! We haven't had such good Vietnamese food in a long time. The service was very attentive and friendly. I highly recommend it!

We ordered 7 dishes a la carte for two people and it was just the right amount. The food was delicious, the service was great, and the atmosphere inside the restaurant was very good.If I ever go to Munich again, I would like to use this restaurant again.
