Portions were too small, there were only 3 shrimp, service was very good, reservations are definitely recommended.

Loved this place. Absolutely stunning venue, delicious food and great service. The Thai basil beef was incredible, duck rolls were yum and pork belly didn't disappoint. A great mix of flavors executed really well. I'll be going back when I return to Munich one day!

There were three of us there, and we all had the four-course menu for €50 (€80 per person with wine). None of the dishes impressed me. Many were even downright disappointing, like the pak choi (bland in flavor). For these prices, I expect a different quality. Inside, the tables are very close together, and it gets quite loud.

We had an excellent meal here today. Pleasant, friendly service. The ambiance makes you feel at home. We highly recommend Tivu.

Absolutely delicious food! We each had three courses, all of which tasted delicious. We had such a sweet and welcoming waiter and were lucky to get a table on an otherwise fully booked evening. Their yuzo pineapple spritz is recommended if you like fresh, slightly bitter drinks👏🏼

I like the way the owner introduces Vietnamese food to customers. This is a new approach for the mid-range restaurant segment. The dishes are presented very delicately. I ordered stir-fried beef with basil leaves, which is a dish I highly appreciate because of the softness, sweetness and absorption of the beef sauce. The stir-fried water spinach dish is also very tasty The children's food has Fried wantan and fried pork belly which are also very good when eaten with white rice The duck rolls and beef with lolot are not as expected. The beef dish cannot taste the lolot leaves. Personally, I prefer crispy duck meat to shredded duck meat in the rolls The restaurant is small but very reasonably arranged and makes the most of it, no anger. The drinks are delicious

We dined here on 11/6/25, waiters were brilliant only 2 on for a very busy restaurant on a Saturday night to take food orders and prepare the drinks. We were served chicken dumplings with raw chicken inside, only I cut into the dumpling to see bright pink meat. We informed the waiter who said this was unacceptable and removed it from the bill. We have travelled for many years all over the world and never had raw meat served to us. Very disappointing with somewhere that gives the appearance and price tag of a high end establishment. Won’t be back or recommend to anyone.

Excellent and imaginative dishes, very varied and diverse. Excellent drinks and wines are also available. The service is attentive, competent, and very friendly in a sophisticated and tasteful ambiance with a relaxed atmosphere.

We were here for dinner and the food was delicious and there are very special and tasty drinks, too. The staff was friendly and three of the small dishes were really enough for each of us.

We've been to TiVu several times. It's been excellent every time! This time we opted for the Chef's Choice. Every course was a flavor explosion! And the wine pairing was perfect! We'll definitely be back. Thank you for the truly outstanding food.

Der Service war sehr freundlich mit einer gewissen Coolness und vor allem Wissen. Wir waren bereits mehrere Male da und werden auch immer wiederkommen.

Absolutely recommended! You could practically order anything from the menu without even looking at it. Everything is perfectly seasoned and the portion sizes are great.

There were five of us, and we ordered tapas a la carte and shared them. We enjoyed most of them, and the staff made us feel very welcome and pleasantly attended to. We would have liked to have seen more cocktails on the menu. We particularly enjoyed the coffee panna cotta with vanilla and banana cream, an unusual and delicious combination.

We had an outstanding experience at this restaurant. With three people at the table, we ordered roughly half the menu. Everything was good. The pana cota blew our minds. Service was impeccable, the the lady that took care of our table was friendly, attentive and helpful. One of the best experiences in Munich, by far.

Good but not outstanding food in fairly small portions

I recommend this restaurant due to the quality of its dishes. The service is excellent. The price of the wines is a little excessive.

Delicious food, nice ambience, good service. But it's difficult that a signature dish on an already small menu isn't there on a Saturday evening. And running out of rice in the Asian dish during the evening should never happen!

The food was delicious, we were expecting authentic Vietnamese but it was quite fusion. It was a little complicated to order because they only had a menu in German. I recommend the Orange Chichen, the Pak Choi and the Thai Basil Beef. The portions are quite small for the price, we spent more than 40 euros each and we were not completely full.

Very good Service, nothing to complain about at all! Also the interior of the restaurant were looking really nice. But unfortunately, the food was nothing special and even disappointing in some parts. E.g. the dumplings which tasted like they just were warm up out of the freezer and the Thai basil beef or the honey chicken had nothing special. In comparison to this, the raw beef salad was delicious.

A great concept in a simple atmosphere! The two of us had 8 tapas which was absolutely sufficient. We found the price performance to be absolutely justified for the quality of the dishes. Everything was beautifully prepared and very tasty. The service is also really excellent. Very attentive, friendly and accommodating. My recent experience at TiVu, a Vietnamese-fusion restaurant just a stone's throw from Gärtnerplatz and the Viktualienmarkt, was truly delightful. I went with the "Chef's Choice" menu, priced at an excellent €50 per person (group of two). This offered a fantastic array of eight small, shareable dishes that showcased a creative blend of flavours. The menu takes you on a nice tapas style journey as you move from starters, to fish, meat and of course a dessert. For those interested, the €39 wine pairing is a nice accompanyment, providing four thoughtfully selected glasses that perfectly complemented each stage of the meal. The service was spot on, striking a perfect balance between attentiveness and allowing us to enjoy our conversation without feeling rushed. The restaurant's aesthetic is a lovely minimalist design, with thoughtful touches like the muted décor and unique earthen plate ware that truly elevate the dining experience. While the ambiance felt like a top-tier establishment, it's worth noting that the sparse furnishings might lead to a slightly louder atmosphere when the restaurant is busier. Amazing fusion food and good service.

Excellent food - 3rd time here and still for us the BEST. Tapas auf hohem Nieveau - jeder Teller optisch sehr schön, aber der Geschmack in allen Facetten ist ein Traum. Der versteht das Handwerk und hat ein Gespür . Wirklich ein Erlebniss hier zu essen. Nicht zu vergessen, der Service ist sehr zuvorkommend. Bier von Giesinger - Riesling von Julch wir kommen gerne wieder

In the "TiVu" you can only make reservations for 6 people or more with a compulsory menu (49 €). But you don't find out about this on the homepage, but only in the reservation confirmation?! A cancellation fee may also apply, see photo. Three of us were here for dinner on March 11, 25. The ambience is beautiful, but later it got pretty loud. Very good food, well prepared, beautiful dishes. The portions were a bit too small for the prices. The drinks prices, e.g. 0.1 liters of wine starting at €8, are also rather high. The employee was very attentive, friendly and offered professional service. She was very knowledgeable about the menu and was able to give recommendations for allergy sufferers. We would like to treat ourselves to a visit again on a special occasion.

Nice restaurant. The food is okay. The service is decent. However, I expected more for the price. It's definitely more suitable for people who value "stylish" and are willing to pay for it.

Very tastefully decorated, fantastic food, great service! We accidentally arrived an hour before our reservation, but were still greeted and seated extremely warmly. The two of us ordered eight tapas. Every course was perfect, the portions were generous, and the taste was top-notch! We haven't had such good Vietnamese food in a long time. The service was very attentive and friendly. I highly recommend it!

Unglaublich lecker. Super Ambiente. Jede Speise hatte einen eigenen, spezifischen, Geschmack. Die Idee es als Tapas anzubieten ist sensationell. Wir haben die Karte kreuz und quer durchprobiert. Es hat uns wirklich gut geschmeckt. Das eine oder andere kannten wir schon, aber hier waren die Gerichte anders interpretiert, was uns beiden richtig gut geschmeckt hat. Die Empfehlung des Serviceteams mit 3-4 Speisen hat super gepasst. Wir können es jedem empfehlen.

Ein tolles Geschmackserlebnis in coolem Ambiente. Insbesondere die Duck Rolls, die steamed Rice Ravioli und die Ginger Prawns haben es uns angetan. Der Service war sehr freundlich, aufmerksam und trotzdem entspannt. Wir kommen sicher wieder.

It's a unique concept of newly created Vietnamese dishes with a twist. If this line didn't get you excited ... You'll be once entering. The restaurant is small, very nicely decorated and with a great ambient setting. Very nice greeting and a great but not to upscale service level make it a great experience. For the food : It's always something special from the small treats to the warm food. Sharing and trying so many different flavors is a real highlight. A personal highlight is the fried rice, rarely eaten something that simple that good! I can only recommend to stop by it's an excellent place.

The food was very good. Fresh and creative, just great! Very suitable for vegetarians. I think that’s important too. But we also had meat and unfortunately it was very tough and not edible. But the service responded really well and took the dish back without any discussions. Everything good and professional. That can happen! To be honest, I think the prices are a little excessive. Everything has become more expensive. You know that. But the portions are really small and you need a lot to fill you up. Otherwise I can only recommend the restaurant.

We went to Tivu for the first time yesterday. The food was really excellent. We have never had such good Vietnamese food and the tapas were really a delight. The service was actually great throughout the entire meal - friendly, quick, attentive and helpful with our intolerances! However, around 10:30 p.m. the mood changed when we were already the last table in the restaurant. At about the same time we were presented with the bill (totally ok since we didn't eat any more) but immediately after paying, the music was turned off, the lights were on, our jackets were already hung from the coat rack and placed on the bar stools behind us. The bar was clearly cleaned up. If we had overindulged or misbehaved completely or not paid an appropriate tip, I would have understood the change in mood, but that was completely inappropriate and incomprehensible. When we got up to leave, the two waitresses barely looked up from their cell phones. When we left we really felt like we were unwanted or had done something wrong. It's a shame because, as I said, the rest of the evening was really great and the service up until then was also great.

Were here for a team dinner for eight. The food was really very good. We had the Chef's Choice. The two of us shared tapas. There were vegetarian or pescatarian alternatives. If you're normally hungry, you'll fill up pretty well. The service was very attentive and polite. The ambience is calm and relaxed. You can have a very good time.

Empecemos con la comida, fue increíble! Tuvimos un total de 6 platos de tapa que cada uno estaba lleno de sabor y bellamente presentado. Nuestra camarera era muy atento y nos leyó muy bien para nuestro servicio. También hizo una sugerencia sobre el orden de las tapas para venir a nuestra mesa que era perfecto para construir la experiencia y hacer nuestra cena más agradable. Empezamos con los rollitos de primavera y las albóndigas de pollo que tenían una gran salsa de sabor en cada uno que era simplemente perfecto. Teníamos los camarones de jengibre que era un bocado muy sabroso con un gran ponche de jengibre. Luego terminamos con carne de albahaca tailandesa, vientre de cerdo y arroz cocido que estaba muy bueno! La crujiente barriga de cerdo era perfecta y tenía una salsa delicada que complementaba el sabor del cerdo a la perfección. La albahaca en la carne de res era simplemente genial y el arroz tenía un poco de ahumado que lo hizo un complemento perfecto para toda la cena. Una botella de vino rosa completó la cena y satisfizo todos los deseos. Muy recomendable y volvería de nuevo sin duda.

We ate the Chef's Choice menu at TiVu, which consists of 8 Asian tapas that are shared between two people. A great idea and everything tastes great. The service was super friendly and pleasant - the atmosphere was modern and appealing. Definitely a clear recommendation for anyone who wants to try Asian interpretation in a modern and clean way, away from the mainstream.

Now one of my favorite restaurants. Service and food leave nothing to be desired. The ambience and atmosphere is casual with a touch of chic. We always take the menu and are always surprised at how good the food is. Price is upscale, but is in line with the quality and service, absolutely inexpensive. Overall, fully recommended and I don't know what I would/could change.

Friendly and attentive staff. Beers are ridiculously small, (0.2 probably, volume not specified in the menu) and they cost 3.9 EURO. They keep pouring you water, 7.5 EURO per bottle. And when you are done - new bottle appears. We had tiny, pretty but average tasting dumpling appetizers and left for a great place down the street.

We were 2 persons and took 6 dishes to share, although the service and atmosphere was good the food was mediocre at best… photos of the food after we tried.

There are not many dishes and the prices are a bit expensive. Four fried wontons cost 10 euros and a bowl of vegetarian fried rice cost 8 euros. As a Vietnamese restaurant, there is no pho. The service is very good, the environment is very elegant among Vietnamese restaurants, and there is music playing. Cards can be swiped.

Tasty but very expensive and very small tapas! Tivu offers Vietnamese tapas. In general, I like the concept of small dishes to share. Unfortunately, I found that the Tivu didn't offer good value for money. We don't eat meat, so we opted for the vegetarian dishes: the summer roll with tofu was very boring in taste, fried noodles and papaya mango salad were ok, rice ravioli, veggie dumplings and vegan fried chicken were all good. We found the price between €9-12 for very small portions to be significantly too high. In the end we had a bill of €79 (before tip) for 6 tapas, 2 glasses of 0.1 wine and 1 non-alcoholic beer. We went home hungry and ate there again. Conclusion: nice restaurant, professional service, but unfortunately the price-performance ratio (especially size) didn't suit us at all. My husband would have had to eat 8 tapas alone (i.e. around 80€) to be full. There are now many noble Vietnamese restaurants in Munich (maison tran, jacci, jaadin, cochinchina etc) where you can eat at least as well for less money.

Service is great, wines are great, food is hit and miss. Some great ones like the duck crepes, sorbet, and one other more delicate tapas. Others like the wok, could have been from any run of the mill Asian restaurant, same for the sticky rice dessert. Overall, too expensive for what it is.

Very nice experience in this modern Viet restaurant. The staff is professional and accommodating, the place is pleasant and perfect for a romantic dinner. The small portions allow you to taste everything, the dishes are well seasoned and tasty. Special mention for the Noodle Glass Salad with beef. And finally, the price-quality ratio is quite suitable.

The food was delicious. It's slightly shocking that wine is served in 0,1 portions, pricey at 8,40EUR for the Grauburgunder. The service was quick. However, the waiter appeared to be handling the whole restaurant on his own and was somewhat gruff. The decor is minimal, but not cold.

Food OK-ish but disappointing for the price. However, the atmosphere is very nice and the service is super friendly. Eat: - Papaya salad was good, but unfortunately zero spiciness (it doesn't have to burn like in Asia...but at least a little bit); The Thai Basil Beef as well - It's ok that the tapas come gradually, but if the portion of rice doesn't come with the Thai Basil Beef but comes last, when everything has been eaten, that's questionable :) - Unfortunately the green asparagus came cold - Water Spinach was very good and authentic - Shrimp in ginger sauce was actually very good - Mango Sticky Rice unfortunately only has a mango sauce without even the smallest piece of mango... For 40+ EUR per person you can eat both more authentic and better somewhere else. A pity.

The restaurant is simple and modern, but still comfortably furnished. Very courteous service and very good wines. When eating smaller dishes to share, each dish is special, lovingly prepared, focus on details. We recommend!
