I can't recommend this restaurant, at least not if you're traveling in a larger group (around 10 people) AND have made a reservation. We wanted to have something to eat there before visiting the Waldbühne. The table was reserved. We sat down and after a while were able to order drinks, which were brought fairly quickly. We were told that the kitchen had requested a hold on orders and that we could order our food in 20 minutes. After more than 30 minutes, we asked at the counter when we could place our order. A server didn't come by. After a while, we decided to leave. We paid for the drinks we ordered; there was no concession. I can't comment on the food; we didn't get anything. In any case, the restaurant won't consider me a customer again. It's a shame there are no 0 stars (or negative stars) to award.

We wanted to have a relaxed lunch there on Saturday (June 14, 2025) with a group of 11 people. The table had been reserved since mid-May 2025! We arrived promptly at 1:00 PM and were assigned a cozy corner. After a 15-minute wait, we were finally able to order drinks. After our drinks were on the table, we were told that our food orders couldn't be taken for another 20 minutes. After 30 minutes, we asked again and were put off again. The staff and kitchen were completely overwhelmed and couldn't tell us when we could order or how long it would take until we received our food! There's apparently only one chef on site. Of course, staffing shortages can happen, but you have to be honest about them! The restaurant had been given a phone number they could have used in advance to point out the problem. There was still time for honesty when entering the restaurant! But I've never experienced such treatment of guests in any other restaurant! A disaster! I can't recommend the Tiroler Stuben on Heerstraße!

I've never experienced anything like this before. We reserved a table for 10 people to start the Schlager night off in a relaxed manner. It took a quarter of an hour before we could order drinks. When we wanted to order food, we were told the kitchen wasn't taking orders at the moment and would only be back in 20 minutes. So we waited patiently, only to be told, after asking three times and 35 minutes later, that the kitchen was overloaded and they couldn't tell us when we could get our food. I've never been served so rudely and unprofessionally in a restaurant, or rather, not served at all. I'll never see that place again. We left hungry and without food.

Although we had reserved a table for 10 people, we weren't told at the entrance that we couldn't eat because there was only one cook and the other was missing. We ordered drinks, but when the drinks were brought, we were told the kitchen wasn't accepting any more orders and we should wait 20 minutes. After 30 minutes, we asked and were told they couldn't tell us when we would get our food. So we paid for our drinks and left hungry. Very rude and unprofessional staff; that's no way to treat guests. They'll never see us again.

We had reserved a table for 10 people at 1 p.m. on June 14, 2025. We were able to order and receive our drinks promptly. After a while, the waiter came to tell us that we couldn't order for about 20 minutes. After half an hour, we asked if we could order now. The answer was, "Not yet." After another 20 minutes, we were told that we could order, but that they couldn't tell us when we would get our food. We then decided to leave because we found the way they treated us very poorly. They should have spoken to us frankly upon arrival. Not recommended!!!

We booked a table for ten people today. We sat down and after about 25 minutes we were told that they couldn't take a food order for another 20 minutes. No problem for us. But when you then get the message after another 30 minutes that an order isn't possible because the kitchen is overloaded, you're at a loss for words. So we weren't able to order food for over an hour and then, after much discussion and rude staff, we left without any understanding. I can't recommend this place. It's not worth a single star... I've never experienced anything like it.

Seasonal salad – a highlight of the kitchen: the variety on the plate combined with the kitchen's highly sophisticated preparation skills, the minimal use of dressing, and the very finely calibrated dosage of pumpkin seeds make this dish an unforgettable experience: never before has coarsely chopped salad tasted so much like salad, and all for just under 14 euros! I can't quite believe it and highly recommend a visit. See for yourself.

Friendly service, which – like us – had to cope with the kitchen's shortcomings. We, a married couple, entered the restaurant around 1 p.m. and ordered the dishes "Spinach Dumplings" and "Crispy Pork Knuckle." Combined with our anticipation, 40 minutes passed before the ordered dishes were served. So far, so good. My wife enjoyed the spinach dumplings; the pork knuckle turned out to be a disaster: I know that pigs are bristly animals. I hadn't previously been accustomed to serving a knuckle with oven-browned bristles. An oven-cooked knuckle is characterized by the fact that the meat slides easily off the bone. The knuckle served was still bloody on the inside after cutting into it. This is where the service staff come into play: Apologies for the mishap, a quick return of the knuckle of pork, and a problem-free offer of another meal – in this case, goulash – which was delicious, by the way. Conclusion: Kitchen deficit – good service!

Communication is everything! We've eaten here a few times and have been very satisfied each time. Unfortunately, the food on our last visit wasn't up to par with our previous visits. Instead of being insulted and silent and writing a bad revenge review, we addressed the issue directly, and the waiters were very happy about it! Our Kaiserschmarren, which wasn't prepared as usual, was excellently prepared the second time around. The cucumber-potato salad wasn't as usual either. We also reported this. There was an internal restructuring of the staff here, and we wanted to give the new employees a chance. We'll be back and see if things have improved.

We ate at the Tiroler Stuben several times. The quality and taste have varied each time. In April, the Wiener Schnitzel (picture 1) and the Kaiserschmarren were sensational. In May, the Wiener Schnitzel (picture 2) was good, but you can clearly see the difference in the pictures. About the Kaiserschmarren: as a dessert, a small portion was enough for us. The previous time, the dough was well-baked and the crust was beautifully caramelized, so we decided to order it this time. Unfortunately, it wasn't as good this time: the dough on both plates was underbaked and the crust was even caramelized. After we mentioned it, we received a new portion, which was of better quality. About the service: The male staff are very reminiscent of the waiters in Viennese coffee houses: they rarely smile but are still friendly. The woman, on the other hand, was very nice and even warned us that the plates would be very hot. She then told us that the chef from our last visit was no longer employed. The male employee confirmed this. This explains the difference in taste and quality. As for the ambiance: it's lovingly rustically decorated. Occasionally, an elderly gentleman came by and placed fresh roses in the vases. On the days we visited the restaurant, the clientele was mostly past retirement age.

We made our third attempt today. The first time, we were sent away before the kitchen closed. The second time, we had barely entered, we were yelled at: 1.5 hours of waiting time... Today, Ascension Day, we were sent away again... they only gave us two words: Reserved?... (We didn't, the terrace was completely empty) No! With all due respect... that's enough! The service is abysmal and can't be described as such... I won't be able to try the food because I definitely won't be coming back. And my advertising for the restaurant won't be a good one... We were there with a group and felt the service was completely overwhelmed. Most of us had various types of schnitzel and were all disappointed. The schnitzels were large but very thin, and you had to hunt for them. The mushroom sauce, with two mushrooms, tasted very stale. We were extremely disappointed and won't be going there again.

Unfortunately we waited 60 minutes for 7 dishes. The 4 small potatoes as a side dish with the asparagus were clearly too small. One dish came cold and the spaetzle was very burnt. After complaining, the same plate came back, it was just warmed up in the microwave and the spaetzle wasn't replaced. The service was more indignant about the complaint than trying. It's a shame, we used to really enjoy being here.

We've been there and really enjoyed it. So this time we reserved a table to celebrate a birthday. We had no idea that there would be a football game in the O stadium that day. Therefore there were around 40 fans in the restaurant and beer garden, which meant perhaps half of the seats were occupied. We sat down and despite reservations, no one came! After 45 minutes still no one while other tables were being served. I then spoke to the waitress at the counter to see if we even had a chance of eating, which was answered in the negative!!! I asked for at least a card so we could order a drink to toast the birthday child... We waited another 15 minutes... without a card, without a drink, without anyone coming to the table... This is absolutely underground. Service (there were 3 waitresses!) should get minus stars. We can't rate the food and drink, there was nothing. They'll never see us again, which was an absolute disgrace for a planned birthday. And that because of a few more guests and drinks!!! What do you actually do when the store is full!?!?!

I have known the restaurant for over 25 years. (...that alone is a good sign) I've definitely experienced ups and downs, but I'm always happy to come back. Not least because of the very nice service staff and the management, who are always trying to make improvements. The service staff “Sascha” and “Pushbar” deserve particular mention. The food is tasty and plentiful and the prices are reasonable.

There is no relationship between price and performance - or rather it is very, very favorable for the host. The draft beer was slightly sour (I hadn't noticed that before with the König Ludwig hefeweizen. The salad was dressed with brandy vinegar and not fresh, the baked goat cheese probably came from the supermarket around the corner and was half warm. They had probably warmed up the pork knuckle for the 20th time - the plate was so hot that my friend burned his fingers, the waitress didn't warn.

We were slightly confused. We had 4 different waiters during our visit. The Wiener Schnitzel is recommended but the Kaiserschmarrn was disappointing. This was more like cake and way too sweet. It's a shame that people are moving away from traditional cuisine.

We came out of the outlet center in the evening completely hungry and wanted to go out for dinner at the end. As we discovered to our dismay, we entered the restaurant just in time for the kitchen to close at 8:30 p.m. We were just about to turn back when the very friendly waiter Sascha invited us in and, after a quick inquiry in the kitchen, handed us the menu. Even when I asked for the pork knuckle, that wasn't a problem and I got a super crispy and very tasty knuckle. The mustard schnitzel was also very tasty. In short - many thanks to the kitchen and the service! We'll definitely be back!

We really enjoy coming here to eat schnitzel. The size of the schnitzel and the quality of the meat are excellent and exactly how I imagine it as an Austrian (one of the best I've had in Germany so far 😊), the potato salad is very tasty and you also get a good portion of cranberries with it. The mushroom sauce tasted like it had been mixed straight from the bag. Unfortunately we weren't satisfied. And then the reference to tipping when paying by card... no thanks.

On January 11th we celebrated a 90th birthday in the Tiroler Stuben with 45 guests. Thanks go to the restaurant management, the service team and the kitchen. Planning, implementation and service worked perfectly. The pre-arranged buffet was varied, rich and delicious. All guests were completely satisfied. It was a successful evening.

Had dinner there on January 18, 2025. Very tasty 😋 Menu of a reasonable size, so that the products were fresh and the prepared dishes were very tasty and tasty. The salad was crisp and the dressing was perfect and really everywhere on the salad. The beef broth was very tasty and had good ingredients. The schnitzels were exactly as you would expect and with perfect breading. What I would also like to point out here is that nothing was drowned in fat. Not even with the fried potatoes. Only the Kaiserschmarrn could have been a little fluffier for us, it was a little too compact for me. The plum side dish was perfect again. We will come back, there is so much on the menu that we would like to try...

The quality of the food always depends on the chef. If it changes, you may be disappointed or excited. Therefore, it is difficult to assess whether it tastes better on the terrace in summer than inside in winter. Everyone has to make their own experiences. But it's not (!) the case that it's not worth going there at all. But it would be better for the waitress to stand close to the person ordering, rather than having everyone shout their wishes to her from a distance at a table of 12 until she understands everything.

How such a good rating comes about is a mystery to me. But first, the good things. Service and location -as of September 26, 21- were good. You were greeted warmly and seated. The offering was completely sufficient and there was something for every taste. Let's move on to the less pleasant things. As a starter we had the ox broth with fries. The soup doesn't deserve the name. Little taste, roughly comparable to a bouillon cube. The fries were simply tasteless. For the main course there was goulash with spaetzle, Viennese veal schnitzel with potato salad and cranberries and Gröstl with pork fillet. The goulash was very good. The Gröstl with pork fillet was also very good, but had a kind of gravy that was dripping with fat. However, the schnitzel for €21.90 was a disappointment. Schnitzel was partly very stringy, potato salad was very sour. You can like the last one, but the meat just has to be good at this price. Either the pieces of meat become smaller and the quality increases or the prices for the dish fall. For dessert there was cheesecake and Kaiserschmarren. The cheesecake was delicious, even if it could have been a little juicier, the included cranberries helped to balance this out. We looked in vain for the mint crown promised on the menu. The Kaiserschmarren was disappointing. Every Tyrolean/Austrian would throw themselves into the knife. The pieces were not made from a type of pancake dough, but rather a type of curd cake. Missed topic. The menu also mentioned that it took about 20 minutes to prepare. The gem was already on our table about 5 minutes into the night. However, what we found particularly shameful for a restaurant that is dedicated to the Tyrolean region was the beer. There was only one regional beer and that was a Gösser Radler. Very nice traditional restaurant near the Havelchaussee. I drove past so many times and always thought, you have to come in here, Now finally done and not disappointed. Food was delicious and staff was super nice. We didn't reserve 2 seats enough - no problem, we pushed in a table for two and it was ready - perfect

We were there 4 days ago; The good/traditional goose and duck meal was advertised. The goose breast was initially brought to the table lukewarm - the skin was soft; The second attempt after a complaint also had the same result; Half of our daughter's duck, on the other hand, was dry because it had been in the oven for too long. The dumplings, sauce and red cabbage are certainly still viable. There were no further inquiries from the staff regarding satisfaction. Overall disappointing experience.

We were there for Christmas dinner. It felt like the service and the kitchen were a bit overwhelmed. There were six of us and we always got our food 5 minutes apart, so we couldn't eat together and the food got cold relatively quickly. To eat: We had half a duck with dumplings and red cabbage with a brown sauce, the duck wasn't particularly tasty, a bit greasy and not as crispy as you'd expect, the dumplings were or the one there was was a bit dry and hard on the inside, not particularly tasty and the Red cabbage was absolutely not edible. The schnitzel, on the other hand, was first class because you can tell that it is the house specialty. But for the price we had to pay, you really expect more from both the service and the dishes themselves because we paid €34 for the duck, which is already relatively expensive.

Unfortunately, the Tyrolean parlors are no longer what they used to be. We still knew the staff in lederhosen and dirndls. Soft Tyrolean music while eating. Nice staff, where the menu was explained to you if you didn't immediately know what was meant, what was on the menu. Today there are completely different employees who didn't even know what exactly was on the plate. There was no “bon appetit” wish and there was no “goodbye” when leaving the restaurant. Instead, colleagues chatted among themselves at the counter and just looked as we walked out. It's a shame, but I can't recommend it anymore!!!

Six of us ate there. Three people had the Wienerschnitzel. It was very good in all three cases! The others had duck, goose and cheese spaetzle. The duck was ok, but the goose breast was unfortunately a bit burnt. The cheese spaetzle had a bit of a lack of cheese flavor, but as we all know, that's a matter of taste, how strong you like them. We know them to be much stronger from Austria. The service staff was very friendly. For people who like to eat Wienerschnitzel, I would definitely recommend the Tiroler Stuben!

Wir haben uns mit 5 Freunden zum Gänseessen getroffen. Knödel, Rotkohl und Sauce waren gut. Aber leider waren die Gänsebrüste sehr trocken und die Haut auch nicht knusprig. Die halbe Ente hatte einen verkohlten Flügel und die Gänsekeule ebenfalls eine verkohlte Seite. Das war eine Enttäuschung. Zur Entschädigung haben wir Kaiserschmarren und Apfelstrudel bekommen - immerhin. Aber Gänse werden wir hier nicht mehr essen.

We had goose breast with red cabbage and potatoes. The goose breast was so tough that you could hardly cut it at all not crispy. €36.90 for this is totally excessive. Service staff was nice.

Unfortunately a disappointment. A room in which there are no windows, so the air gets stagnant quite quickly. By being separated from the rest of the restaurant, the staff quickly misses any attempts to reorder something. In general, the staff seemed very stressed, some were literally running. This creates a lot of hecticness and discomfort. Drinks (Radler) consist almost exclusively of beer, there is hardly any taste of soda. Eating well... goose breast too hard, farmer's duck not cooked through, meat hardly came off the bone. Dumpling too dry, looked like it came from a hot air oven. Schnitzel was good, as was red cabbage. The kale was great. There is hardly any typical Austrian food on the menu. Tarte flambée seems strange. Dessert, well... cheesecake and apple strudel... where are Kaiserschmarrn, yeast dumplings, dumplings soup, pancake soup, etcetc. Ambiance, well... Rooms are quite low, everything is narrow and crowded, from a table you have a direct view of the toilet area. Prices are quite steep: €50 for goose breast, shandy, schnapps. Conclusion: No recommendation, it's a shame, it used to be quite good.

The food was actually very good, we had duck and the schnitzel. The Kaiserschmarrn wasn't really my thing, very small portion for a lot of money, way too sweet and pieces too thick. The service is underground. The waiter doesn't know his trade, there's no friendliness, and no attention either. You are simply ignored. That's why there wasn't a cent tip. The ambience is really nice. Parking spaces right in front of the door. We're still not coming back.

Food, in this case not schnitzel but cheese spaetzle and Kaiserschmarren. The cheese spaetzle weren't good at all... drowned in cheese mush and baked, my goodness, and the Kaiserschmarren was dry, and the roasted pancakes were good. But the prices are just too high for vegetarian Austrian food.

Oh, we came here because the reviews were good. But that was not our experience. We waited an unreasonable long time for the food. We moved for the food. It came. We got a bad schnapps as compensation. The food was really not worth the money. There must be better places in this big, beautiful and wonderful city.
