The three of us were there in the afternoon. I ordered a grilled knuckle of pork for €27.90. What arrived was actually a disgrace. The knuckle had obviously been heated in the microwave. It wasn't heated to the right temperature. Despite the special knife, the meat required a lot of strength to cut and chew. The two potatoes weren't squishable. They could be sliced. The sauce was a one-size-fits-all, identical to everything else. The cabbage tasted fine and the temperature was adjusted to the other ingredients. The criticism regarding this was apparently received by the kitchen. There was no response or apology. I'm going to make a big deal about this place with its inflated prices. I don't need another expensive disappointment like that. One more thing: the restrooms have a 70s charm.

The schnitzel is amazing, and my request for a fried egg on top was easily accommodated. I was truly in schnitzel heaven. Only the Kaiserschmarrn wasn't to my taste… not as fluffy and unfortunately too dark. The plum compote that accompanied it was delicious. If I'm back in Berlin, I'll be happy to come back!

I went to the Tiroler Stuben with my family today for Christmas dinner. The ambiance is nice and cozy; you feel at home. The service was courteous and competent, even though the drinks kept getting swapped with those of the table next to us. It just happens when the place is full, although you might get a bit irritated after the third time. I found the food rather meager. The sirloin was listed as "pink" on the menu, but it arrived well. It was also extremely tough. My two neighbors also ordered the sirloin and complained about the same thing. So it must be the quality of the meat. At least the taste was good, but if I'm paying €27, I expect a piece of corresponding quality. It was accompanied by a beef ragout and potato gratin. I advise the owners to please reconsider the way they serve this. If you put the ragout on top of the gratin, you won't taste any of the potatoes at all, because a braised dish is naturally much more intense in flavor. Either serve the gratin separately or separate the two on the same plate. If I had been eating alone and not with the family, I would have sent the dish back. The dessert also disappointed me. The menu said chocolate cake, but what was served was a rich brownie. It could have at least been warm, as is usual for a cake, but it was cold. Definitely a convenience store. It tasted good, no question, but I would have preferred a light cake—the one I actually ordered—after such a hearty meal. The tonka bean ice cream, however, was very good—certainly homemade. In summary, I'm sure the kitchen at the Tiroler Stuben has more to offer. Given my experience, I really can't understand why the reviews are generally so positive. We're not talking about an isolated slip-up, but whatever.

Bad food, duck with the sauce tasted like frozen goods from the supermarket, dumplings were half raw

The crispy pork knuckle was obviously reheated in the microwave or some other way and was dry. The sauerkraut was also dry and unloved, as were the two potatoes, and for €28, I'm sorry, it's not acceptable. The meatballs were also not recommended. The service was OK.

Mega delicious and you come as a stranger and leave as a friend

We were there with a large group. The food was prepared quickly and everyone enjoyed it. The staff were friendly.

Nice atmosphere, food was very good. This was our second time there, and we had to wait quite a bit each time. The staff was very friendly and explained the staffing shortage. The menu was shortened, so not all dishes were available. Parking was available in front of the door. It was a Saturday late afternoon/evening.

Two of us ate here today. Ordering drinks and the main course was quick. But for further orders like drinks or dessert, we had to wait forever. Drinks came quickly, but dessert took forever. It wasn't crowded inside or outside, even though they said they were fully booked!? Well, the three waiters weren't attentive either, especially with empty glasses or bored guests... whatever, ultimately it was definitely too expensive for the food and service... For example, one piece of apple strudel with vanilla sauce for €11.90... a bit of powdered sugar as decoration, that was it... a real shame.

I would love to come back here again!!

Delicious Austrian cuisine, fair prices, and friendly service. Parking is available, but the restaurant is also accessible by public transport.

A super nice, rustic restaurant with a very friendly and attentive staff. The food and drinks were delicious. The Kaiserschmarrn was simply delicious and the perfect end to a lovely evening. We'll definitely be back! A little tip for dog owners: There's also a small, sweet menu for dogs. Which is another reason to visit.

I went in without a reservation after seeing the reviews on Google. I went by car, but it's located above the train station, so it's very accessible. There's free street parking. There are terrace seats on three sides surrounding the restaurant, and the terrace seats on the forest side are particularly recommended as they are sunny and have parasols. The menu focuses on meat dishes, but there are also a few fish dishes. Each dish is a little pricey, but the food is well-cooked and reliable, and I was very satisfied. The waitresses were very friendly and spoke English. I recommend it.

Everything was perfect! The beautiful beer garden and winter garden invite you to linger!

We wanted to treat ourselves before attending the Roland Kaiser concert at the Waldbühne and reserved a table weeks in advance. The online reservation worked perfectly, but we received a reminder shortly beforehand, which was the only positive thing. Once we arrived at the restaurant, we were allowed to find a table ourselves, which we found outside in the beer garden. Then the long wait for service began. But no waiter showed up at the table. We then got the menu ourselves and chose our drinks and food. But... still no waiter in sight. We somehow skillfully avoided our table. I should also add that we weren't the only ones waiting for service. After my wife personally asked us to, we were finally able to place our drink order, which was served quickly. The "friendly" waiter then wanted to come back right away to take our food order. But again, nothing happened for ages. As the start of the concert at the Waldbühne was getting closer and closer, we decided to pay and leave the restaurant hungry. Then the next problem arose...paying. That, too, only worked with a lot of initiative from my wife. She had to chase the waiter to pay the bill. He tried to justify himself and apologize. I have no idea what was going on that day; not even all the tables were occupied, and yet the service was so poor, or even nonexistent. Whether we'll be guests there again on our next visit to the Waldbühne is still up in the air. It's a shame we were so disappointed. Best wishes...from the hungry guests

The Tiroler Stuben are always something special. A mountain holiday feeling! Pros: The food is delicious and not run-of-the-mill. The ambiance is good. Cons: Unfortunately, it's a bit expensive, and the junior waitresses, who aren't native speakers, are a bit slow and obtuse. Hopefully, things will change. Would I recommend the restaurant to friends: YES Would I come again? YES

A very good Tyrolean restaurant with delicious food. It's a shame they don't serve Austrian beers, but rather low-budget German beers. It somehow doesn't fit with the top-notch food and the location, which is supposed to be reminiscent of Tyrol, Austria.

We were here today before the Iron Maiden concert. There weren't enough people, but there were extremely many guests at an unusual time, yet the service was excellent, the staff friendly, and the food was amazing. We'll definitely be back!

That can happen, of course, but what's absolutely unacceptable is the waiter's statement that it wasn't worth cooking the potatoes separately. The meal cost €37... so it's definitely not a bargain. I expect everything to be served fresh and no unprofessional chatter from the waiter. There was no apology, just a lecture. July 2025 The quality is declining; the two mini herrings with a side dish didn't taste good at all. The sauce was strange and boring... the service was nice.

We were there with a group of 33 people with a reservation. Unfortunately, we didn't have a shared table. We sat at six tables of six. Each table received its food at the same time, unfortunately not together. The food was delicious. The prices are quite high, but you can afford it.

I have to commend the service here. As soon as we walked in, we were greeted very warmly and served excellently. We only had coffee, but the homemade cake was simply amazing. Fresh and delicious.

Very friendly service, the dish was served quickly, and the portions were large. I ordered the liver with potato puree, apple, and onion, and my wife ordered the beef goulash with dumplings and beetroot. This dish was recommended to us by Chef Gabriel – he's a fantastic chef and cook. I've never had liver this fluffy and tender before, and I ate a lot of it 😊.

Even though the mountains are far away, Tyrol feels very close here. Whether it's dumplings or Kässpatzen, every lover of Austrian cuisine will find something to their liking here. The highlight of all the culinary offerings—how could it be more—is and remains the Wiener Schnitzel. Not only does it spread across the entire plate and beyond, but it also boasts a truly delicious flavor. It's wonderful to see guests bursting with smiles when they receive it. If you're looking for a good schnitzel without having to travel to Austria, the Tiroler Stuben are highly recommended.

The food is really good. The menu is concise but delicious. Only in the beer garden do you have to wait quite a long time for service. But that could also be due to the time of day; there were only three tables occupied, and the waiter had to keep everything under control both inside and outside, which is sometimes difficult. It's a shame; I know it's different there.

Spontan ging es heute seit langem mal wieder in die Tiroler Stuben! Ein Platz war schnell gefunden! Insgesamt fehlte es mir an einem willkommenen Gefühl! Es ist eher sachlich und ohne Emotionen! Warten mussten wir aufs Essen nicht lange. Wir hatten den Leberkäse und Königsberger Klopse! Das Essen war okay, hat mich jetzt aber nicht umgehauen! Besonders der Kartoffelbrei hat bezüglich Geschmack und Temperatur noch Luft nach oben! Insgesamt wirkt der Gästebereich etwas trist und unpersönlich! Auch hier fehlt ein wenig das Herz, dem Gast ein gutes Gefühl zu geben! Alles in allem okay, aber beliebig und nicht zwingend „eine Reise“ wert!

I can't recommend this restaurant, at least not if you're traveling in a larger group (around 10 people) AND have made a reservation. We wanted to have something to eat there before visiting the Waldbühne. The table was reserved. We sat down and after a while were able to order drinks, which were brought fairly quickly. We were told that the kitchen had requested a hold on orders and that we could order our food in 20 minutes. After more than 30 minutes, we asked at the counter when we could place our order. A server didn't come by. After a while, we decided to leave. We paid for the drinks we ordered; there was no concession. I can't comment on the food; we didn't get anything. In any case, the restaurant won't consider me a customer again. It's a shame there are no 0 stars (or negative stars) to award.

We wanted to have a relaxed lunch there on Saturday (June 14, 2025) with a group of 11 people. The table had been reserved since mid-May 2025! We arrived promptly at 1:00 PM and were assigned a cozy corner. After a 15-minute wait, we were finally able to order drinks. After our drinks were on the table, we were told that our food orders couldn't be taken for another 20 minutes. After 30 minutes, we asked again and were put off again. The staff and kitchen were completely overwhelmed and couldn't tell us when we could order or how long it would take until we received our food! There's apparently only one chef on site. Of course, staffing shortages can happen, but you have to be honest about them! The restaurant had been given a phone number they could have used in advance to point out the problem. There was still time for honesty when entering the restaurant! But I've never experienced such treatment of guests in any other restaurant! A disaster! I can't recommend the Tiroler Stuben on Heerstraße!

We ordered drinks, but when the drinks were brought, we were told the kitchen wasn't accepting any more orders and we should wait 20 minutes. After 30 minutes, we asked and were told they couldn't tell us when we would get our food. So we paid for our drinks and left hungry. Very rude and unprofessional staff; that's no way to treat guests. They'll never see us again.

I've never experienced anything like this before. We reserved a table for 10 people to start the Schlager night off in a relaxed manner. It took a quarter of an hour before we could order drinks. When we wanted to order food, we were told the kitchen wasn't taking orders at the moment and would only be back in 20 minutes. So we waited patiently, only to be told, after asking three times and 35 minutes later, that the kitchen was overloaded and they couldn't tell us when we could get our food. I've never been served so rudely and unprofessionally in a restaurant, or rather, not served at all. I'll never see that place again. We left hungry and without food.

We had reserved a table for 10 people at 1 p.m. on June 14, 2025. We were able to order and receive our drinks promptly. After a while, the waiter came to tell us that we couldn't order for about 20 minutes. After half an hour, we asked if we could order now. The answer was, "Not yet." After another 20 minutes, we were told that we could order, but that they couldn't tell us when we would get our food. We then decided to leave because we found the way they treated us very poorly. They should have spoken to us frankly upon arrival. Not recommended!!!

We booked a table for ten people today. We sat down and after about 25 minutes we were told that they couldn't take a food order for another 20 minutes. No problem for us. But when you then get the message after another 30 minutes that an order isn't possible because the kitchen is overloaded, you're at a loss for words. So we weren't able to order food for over an hour and then, after much discussion and rude staff, we left without any understanding. I can't recommend this place. It's not worth a single star... I've never experienced anything like it.

It was packed. Every table was occupied, and it seemed like everyone wanted to eat at the same time. The service was friendly and well-organized amidst the hustle and bustle. The food was fresh and delicious, with generous portions. The atmosphere was cozy. Kudos to the venue for handling the crowds so well.

Seasonal salad – a highlight of the kitchen: the variety on the plate combined with the kitchen's highly sophisticated preparation skills, the minimal use of dressing, and the very finely calibrated dosage of pumpkin seeds make this dish an unforgettable experience: never before has coarsely chopped salad tasted so much like salad, and all for just under 14 euros! I can't quite believe it and highly recommend a visit. See for yourself.

Not recommended and too expensive

Friendly service, which – like us – had to cope with the kitchen's shortcomings. We, a married couple, entered the restaurant around 1 p.m. and ordered the dishes "Spinach Dumplings" and "Crispy Pork Knuckle." Combined with our anticipation, 40 minutes passed before the ordered dishes were served. So far, so good. My wife enjoyed the spinach dumplings; the pork knuckle turned out to be a disaster: I know that pigs are bristly animals. I hadn't previously been accustomed to serving a knuckle with oven-browned bristles. An oven-cooked knuckle is characterized by the fact that the meat slides easily off the bone. The knuckle served was still bloody on the inside after cutting into it. This is where the service staff come into play: Apologies for the mishap, a quick return of the knuckle of pork, and a problem-free offer of another meal – in this case, goulash – which was delicious, by the way. Conclusion: Kitchen deficit – good service!

Communication is everything! We've eaten here a few times and have been very satisfied each time. Unfortunately, the food on our last visit wasn't up to par with our previous visits. Instead of being insulted and silent and writing a bad revenge review, we addressed the issue directly, and the waiters were very happy about it! Our Kaiserschmarren, which wasn't prepared as usual, was excellently prepared the second time around. The cucumber-potato salad wasn't as usual either. We also reported this. There was an internal restructuring of the staff here, and we wanted to give the new employees a chance. We'll be back and see if things have improved.

Ich kann mich den Vorrednern aller negativen Bewertungen nur anschließen..... Von Service kann gar keine Rede sein. Wir wurden einfach nicht bedient! Der Laden war leer... Wir wurden mit nem kurzen aber lauten NEIN abserviert....und stehen gelassen! Das war unser Dritter Versuch spontan ein Abendessen dort zu bekommen. Aber wie ich hier und auf Google lese, nimmt der Chef gar keine Stellung....

We ate at the Tiroler Stuben several times. The quality and taste have varied each time. In April, the Wiener Schnitzel (picture 1) and the Kaiserschmarren were sensational. In May, the Wiener Schnitzel (picture 2) was good, but you can clearly see the difference in the pictures. About the Kaiserschmarren: as a dessert, a small portion was enough for us. The previous time, the dough was well-baked and the crust was beautifully caramelized, so we decided to order it this time. Unfortunately, it wasn't as good this time: the dough on both plates was underbaked and the crust was even caramelized. After we mentioned it, we received a new portion, which was of better quality. About the service: The male staff are very reminiscent of the waiters in Viennese coffee houses: they rarely smile but are still friendly. The woman, on the other hand, was very nice and even warned us that the plates would be very hot. She then told us that the chef from our last visit was no longer employed. The male employee confirmed this. This explains the difference in taste and quality. As for the ambiance: it's lovingly rustically decorated. Occasionally, an elderly gentleman came by and placed fresh roses in the vases. On the days we visited the restaurant, the clientele was mostly past retirement age.

Saturday, cup final. Within walking distance of the stadium, but still able to get a seat straight away in the lovely beer garden. Fast and friendly service, VERY, VERY delicious food!!!!! And the beer is VERY, VERY, VERY delicious too 😋😅 Excellent value for money 👍

We made our third attempt today. The first time, we were sent away before the kitchen closed. The second time, we had barely entered, we were yelled at: 1.5 hours of waiting time... Today, Ascension Day, we were sent away again... they only gave us two words: Reserved?... (We didn't, the terrace was completely empty) No! With all due respect... that's enough! The service is abysmal and can't be described as such... I won't be able to try the food because I definitely won't be coming back. And my advertising for the restaurant won't be a good one... Haven't eaten anything this good in a long time......

We were there with a group and felt the service was completely overwhelmed. Most of us had various types of schnitzel and were all disappointed. The schnitzels were large but very thin, and you had to hunt for them. The mushroom sauce, with two mushrooms, tasted very stale. We were extremely disappointed and won't be going there again.

Everything was delicious, the staff were friendly too. You have to try the cheesecake, the portions are also amazing.

I didn't think it was that great, apparently it used to be better.

Unfortunately we waited 60 minutes for 7 dishes. The 4 small potatoes as a side dish with the asparagus were clearly too small. One dish came cold and the spaetzle was very burnt. After complaining, the same plate came back, it was just warmed up in the microwave and the spaetzle wasn't replaced. The service was more indignant about the complaint than trying. It's a shame, we used to really enjoy being here.

We've been there and really enjoyed it. So this time we reserved a table to celebrate a birthday. We had no idea that there would be a football game in the O stadium that day. Therefore there were around 40 fans in the restaurant and beer garden, which meant perhaps half of the seats were occupied. We sat down and despite reservations, no one came! After 45 minutes still no one while other tables were being served. I then spoke to the waitress at the counter to see if we even had a chance of eating, which was answered in the negative!!! I asked for at least a card so we could order a drink to toast the birthday child... We waited another 15 minutes... without a card, without a drink, without anyone coming to the table... This is absolutely underground. Service (there were 3 waitresses!) should get minus stars. We can't rate the food and drink, there was nothing. They'll never see us again, which was an absolute disgrace for a planned birthday. And that because of a few more guests and drinks!!! What do you actually do when the store is full!?!?!

Unfortunately, price and quality don't match at all. The schnitzel was tough, the potato salad was boring, the potatoes were still almost raw, and even the fried potatoes that were available as a substitute were not convincing in terms of taste. Unfortunately, the only positive thing was the atmospheric furnishings and the courteous service.
