A very unmotivated lady welcomed us and took us to one of the worst tables in the restaurant. But then Maggie came out of service and saved the evening! New table, fast service, full attention! If only the restaurant had more Maggies. 🙏

We went to Timberjacks for the first time today and I have to say I'm very impressed. Just wow. The entrance is really an eye-catcher!!! The ambience is simply fantastic. 😍 The service was first class, we were served by lovely Maggie and I have to say, she made you feel very safe. She is open and an honest person. The food was delicious and overall we are very satisfied and will definitely come back!! Thanks for the great experience❤️🌈

The food was absolute madness. I ate until I explode❤️ The ambience is so great and a total hit for all America fans. Anyone who likes wood and horn should definitely visit the quiet place. It's also great that four-legged friends are welcome. The service is really great, quick, friendly and always trying to make sure you're happy❤️ We were completely thrilled and absolutely happy ❤️😍

We got our drinks, but then we waited for over 2 hours for a service who didn't come despite us noticing! Therefore I would absolutely not recommend this restaurant and give it 1 star!!!

Update of my last review two years ago. Now that I've been to Timberjacks a few times, I can describe a few impressions more easily. So far I haven't made a reservation for my visits. As a spontaneous person, I was usually lucky to get a table, except at peak times. I have never had to wait long for my food; the number of guests may play a role in the waiting time. The service was also good and on point. But there are also black sheep among them who seem more listless than present while working. However, I have to say about the steaks: They fill you up and there is no noticeable difference in taste. I haven't experienced that elsewhere, where the taste of a fillet was different from a hanger steak. In terms of price, Timberjacks is set higher than the competition, which may be a point of criticism for low budget guests. My conclusion: if you want to spend a little more money and don't focus too much on quality, you'll get your fill here. I don't recommend Timberjacks for a regular visit, but for longer periods now and then

We were looked after very friendly and courteously by our waiter Ugur. The food was very tasty and decoratively prepared. The restaurant is very nice and stylishly decorated. We really enjoyed our visit today and will definitely come back!

After several telephone inquiries and a personal inquiry, I have not received an acceptance or rejection as of today, September 14th, 2024. Too bad!!! Be really stupid towards my guests. Sales of around €5,000 - €7,000 are probably not needed.

Great burgers and a wide selection of other typical American dishes.

A dream for every barbecue fan. Had the dish of the day with brisket beef, ribs and pulled pork. Greatly marinated and extremely tender. The menu offers a lot of choice, including vegetarian options. From steak to burgers, ribs, tacos, burritos, ice cream, cocktails and milkshakes, the store offers virtually every type of typical American food. The ambience is also very appropriate and you can tell a lot of thought was put into it. I can recommend it to everyone.

A culinary experience not to be missed! Timberjacks Cologne West impressed me from start to finish. The service was not only friendly, but also extremely competent and attentive. The steak was to die for - perfectly cooked and so tender it melted in your mouth. Every dish was a delight for the palate, and the ambience of the restaurant contributed to an all-round successful evening. The prices are absolutely justified given the quality and the excellent service. I will definitely come back and can fully recommend Timberjacks Cologne West!

When it comes to restaurants that try to portray a particular country with their ambience, their food and drinks as well as their service, you basically have to differentiate between two approaches: Either an authentic image should be created, or the guests should find what corresponds to their imagination. because they were never there themselves. In my opinion, "Timberjacks" pursues the second goal, as the impressive furnishings fully reflect what is commonly understood as "Wild West romance". The catch: Both the food and the service don't keep up. The dishes seemed too Europeanized and far removed from American cuisine, and the service staff were too grumpy and inattentive. The latter is particularly noticeable if you have already experienced the friendliness and courteousness of American waitresses several times and use it as a comparison. As I said: If you want to have your romanticized image of the USA confirmed, you're in good hands here, but if you've already been to the USA and don't want to be disappointed, you should avoid it.

The restaurant also lives from its chic interior. The breakfast was okay, but the selection was too inflexible. Next time we'll be there for dinner, let's see what it looks like. Were there for dinner now. My wife and I stuck to the burgers and got a reasonable price. The steaks are not exactly cheap in price, but they are reasonable. Like almost all visitors, we also noticed the professional and friendly service. Timberjacks deserved an extra 🌟 for the successful evening.

We went there for steak. The steaks were good. The potato fries were good too. Unfortunately, the herb butter quickly melted away as the serving bowl was also on the warm plate. The herb butter didn't blow us away in terms of taste either. Unfortunately the service woman kept us waiting several times. For the higher prices, the service should work even better. And don't keep the guests waiting, or even forget them and play with their cell phones at the counter instead. Maybe other employees are more motivated. The ambience was nice, and the toilet facility also had a special charm. In this restaurant you feel like you pay for the ambience.

Great food, great restaurant, but unfortunately understaffed, therefore chaotic and slow. Hopefully this will improve relatively quickly because this could be our favorite store in the future.

The taste of the food was great (various meat specialties on a platter - Monday special), but the protein size is more suitable for a woman than a man. It was tasty and the service was very good, but unfortunately the quantity could be significantly more for the price (main course + side dish + sauce usually around €30). Cocktails very tasty, staff great. But if you're not very full for the price, you're somehow not satisfied.

Super nice staff, incredibly cool location and very tasty food! The two of us ate at Timberjacks today around 5 p.m. without a reservation. Slightly overwhelmed, as we felt like we wanted to order everything from the menu, so there was a main course, a side course and something to drink. The price-performance ratio is a smooth 10/10. Always my pleasure :-)

We had a lovely evening here. The price is not that cheap, but the quality is good. The meat was really of good quality. The churrasco is highly recommended. The burgers were also well received. The atmosphere is relaxed and not too fancy. Cool music in the store such as: Slipknot. Exactly my thing. Always my pleasure!

A large-scale establishment that is more focused on interior elements than on food. They took: medium-done fillet steak, they brought it well done, such a cut is difficult to spoil, even if it was cooked incorrectly. Flank steak - with frying the same situation, only the meat is tough. Side dishes - mashed potatoes with truffle, it is impossible to eat, it looks like powdered mashed potatoes with a lot of truffle oil, cauliflower - to say that it is tasteless is to say nothing. Overall a complete disappointment.

We were served by an exasperated, unfriendly waitress. Yes, we didn't have a reservation. But half the shop was empty. However, we were sat down at a long table outside with strangers. These smoked. That wasn't what we wanted. Service is different. We went to Timberjacks in Siegen where everything was in tip top condition. Nice service, good food. And we would definitely have left 100 euros there today. But we decided to go. Apparently the staff has no intention of providing comfort to customers or if they do, it is only by reservation. And this despite the fact that the store had a lot of free spaces. Too bad. Then it's better to go to Siegen. The ambience is also right, in the middle of the forest.

Ambience, service and staff were great, we were here with 8 people during the week, but we had booked in advance. There are enough parking spaces, 100% sanitary facilities and cleanliness and order throughout the restaurant. If you have fun you can also do bull riding. After being assigned our table, we received the drinks we ordered after about 10 minutes. The menu has a large selection and there is something for everyone, except those with allergies. After taking the order, it only took 25 minutes and the food was already at the table for all 8 people, hot, tasty and sufficient, the only negative point and therefore only 4 stars, for guests who have an intolerance, e.g. There is absolutely no alternative to having onions here, even after repeated requests, no dish could be changed, which is a shame. We would have liked to come back but.........................

It was a wonderful evening in a great atmosphere. The seat reservation was completely problem-free in advance. The food and dessert were absolutely delicious. The steak was cooked exactly to the desired point. The ice cream sundae was mega. And that was just the “little” one 😉 Our waitress (Deni) was super on the ball and very, very nice. We will definitely come back to you.

We went to Timberjacks for the first time about 6 weeks ago and unfortunately we were disappointed. First, after the starter, they forgot to tell the kitchen that they should start the main course, which meant that over an hour passed between the starter and the main course and, to top it all off, they forgot to prepare the meat for my partner Only the vegetables and the fries came. Thank you to Timberjacks for ruining our anniversary!! If it were up to me, I would never have gone there again, but my girlfriend really wanted to go there again, so we gave Timberjacks another chance. Unfortunately, that was also a flop, but this time for a different reason. We had people sitting next to us who bawled so much that we couldn't understand our own words (no joke), that would have been expected in an Assik pub on the Ballermann, but not here. We then asked for a new table, which we got outside, this was a table for two where the chairs were like bar stools. These chairs were permanently installed and had no backrest, sorry, but that has nothing to do with food culture. So we sat down on a bench and the wind whistled so much that we decided to leave Timberjacks as quickly as possible. We paid for our drinks (thank God we hadn't ordered food yet) and drove off. After all the positive reports about Timberjacks we were deeply disappointed, maybe we were just unlucky, but the combination of some!! completely incompetent staff (first visit) and partly!! The low-level audience meant that we would definitely never go there again. There are much better restaurants in the area!

First of all, Timberjacks is very impressive. You would really only expect such a large wooden house in America. The food was very tasty, but sometimes extremely greasy. But what do you expect from Mac & Cheese? All in all, we were super satisfied and would come back.

The ambience may be appealing, but unfortunately the staff is very arrogant and unfriendly. I wouldn't recommend anyone to visit this place. The food also doesn't seem particularly tasty and is more reminiscent of quickly prepared fast food.

I strongly advise against this place. Despite repeatedly informing the staff about my milk/lactose allergy, I still ended up getting sick. It seems they don't fully grasp the seriousness of food allergies, and how dangerous it can be to serve food that triggers them. If you have any allergies, steer clear of this place.

Unfortunately the food was disappointing for the price. My burger was supposed to be with grilled chicken, bacon and beef patty. I looked for the bacon in vain and the grilled chicken was only a bite (approx. 20g). It's a shame to even write this on the list of ingredients. Unfortunately, service was also very lackluster.

Overall, a great location. Great building, beautifully furnished! I thought it was a bit overpriced. For example, €5.50 for around 20 fries, which were served lukewarm to begin with, is quite steep. Otherwise the food is OK. (but nothing more) what irritated us at the end was the waiter asking us whether we should give a tip. I've never experienced anything like that before. I personally don't need that again...

My visit to Timberjacks was a mixed experience. The reservation went smoothly and the ambience is really impressive - rustic, cozy and with a pleasant atmosphere that invites you to linger. Unfortunately, this positive image was greatly marred by the choice of music. The music was more reminiscent of a shisha bar than an upscale restaurant, which didn't really fit with the rest of the ambience. The service was friendly, but lacked attention and commitment. It would have been nice if they had asked if it was our first visit and then walked us through the menu in more detail. I would have expected more service here, especially given the high prices. The food itself was undoubtedly delicious, but also very expensive. A side dish for almost 9 euros to a main course that costs around 50 euros is excessive in my opinion. Although I don't regret the visit, I wouldn't go there again for the value for money and the rather mediocre service. -

American at its finest. This is what we know from the USA. Going there is a bit like a mini vacation. Experience gastronomy with friendly staff, good and very good food, and a great ambience.

Table reserved for 6:30 p.m., table at 6:20 p.m. Finished eating at 7:40 p.m. Service is extremely competent, friendly and attentive. Food very tasty and reasonable prices. 5 stars and clear recommendation. Ambience also very nice.

Typical American steakhouse chain. The interior is definitely something special for German standards and worth seeing. Otherwise, all in all, really typically American. The selection of food is huge and the side dishes are also the same as you would expect from America (if you like it cheesy and fried, you will definitely find it here 😉). The steak itself didn't really impress us; you can get it much cheaper and better elsewhere. In general: the prices at Timberjacks are really tough! With that in mind, we came to the conclusion: It was nice to have been there, but the price-performance ratio wasn't right for us. Service was okay. Huge parking lot directly at the restaurant. Possibility to sit outside when the weather is nice.

The food here is really good. You just have to know what you're ordering. For example, who If you order flank steak, you obviously won't get a super tender steak. If you are unclear, it is better to ask. The staff is also really on the ball.

Was in Pulheim near Cologne twice. Smash burgers were delicious, expensive steaks are unnecessarily served on cold cast iron pans, why I ask myself, then just leave it out if it's not done right! Service was also disastrous. We waited easily 30 minutes for service. Ambience was quite ok.

Mega delicious food and an absolutely unique ambience. Everything fits absolutely perfectly, the homemade ice teas are awesome! The only thing that could be improved would be the speed of service. Otherwise absolutely recommended!

I made a reservation for "outside" and sat inside. The waitress's answer was - everything outside is full. What do I reserve for then? Got a table by the window in the sun with the air conditioning working poorly. After half an hour the service changes and it also gets 5 stars. Ambience great! But then the steak came, it was supposed to be almost done - unfortunately it was raw on the inside. The second attempt was almost good - but unfortunately still bloody. I didn't feel like making a third attempt. CONCLUSION: This shouldn't be the case for a steakhouse. I would give 0 points for the food, but you can't do that.

We were there spontaneously and without a reservation. At reception we were rudely asked about a reservation. "Without reservation?" The receptionist pulled a pout, took us to a bar table with bar stools in the bull riding area, put the menus on the bar table and left without a word. When no one came after 20 minutes to at least take our drink order, we left. It's a shame, because Timberjacks looks really great and the dishes on the menu made you want more. But given the prices we expect more service and friendliness.

We would have been happy to eat if only the waiters had paid attention to us. We were greeted unfriendly at reception because we were obviously disrupting the conversation by being there. After we were asked in annoyance whether we had reserved a reservation (we hadn't), we were led to a bar table with high bar stools. Cards were put down and then no more staff were seen - they were already active among themselves. We were seated next to a bull ride , where children had angry discussions about why they weren't allowed to play there. It may be that the food is good, but if I'm paying a lot of money, I would like to at least have some service. Yes, it wasn't reserved, but there were plenty of tables available... .and we would have driven on after a steak... a shame in every respect, a lot of show - little content.

Everything is very authentic and really delicious. The only thing that could be worked on, but is also difficult, is that depending on how busy it is, you have to wait up to an hour for your food. But for the quality it's worth the wait. Only the waiters could ask for drinks or something like that here and there, especially when they walk past the table for the third time and the drinks are empty. Otherwise always great and happy, soon again🥳🤠

Today we had dinner here with the family. Ambience is really nice, large and modern with different rooms. The first problem was placement. With our baby and toddler, we were seated at the exit to the terrace, despite the shop being half empty. The service was very nice and tried hard. But the food was a real disaster. Fries were on the table after two minutes, fried twice, full of fat and burnt (see picture). My burger also had french fries and they were exactly the same. Taco was very poorly prepared. The chicken had been cooked on the dirty grill (you could taste it). My burger was ok except for the gristle in the meat. My wife had a burrito and it was the same. Very tough meat. Guacamole easily one of the worst things I've ever eaten. My daughter ordered two scoops of ice cream and it was served in a Havana glass 😂. We don't even do it like that at home. I only tried a spoonful of it, it tasted like soft ice cream from the machine. We just went home disappointed.

The information at the front said you were no longer allowed to sit outside. - 6:00 p.m. full sun! Every waiter has to exchange ideas with every waiter before they can say yes, you can sit here or not. Afterwards we were allowed to sit at a table for 4 which was dirty - it was cleaned after 20!!! Cleaned up unkindly within minutes. And not wiped!! Later they said you could have sat down at a clean table, which we weren't actually allowed to do! 5 of 19 tables are occupied! Unfriendly service

Although the store was packed on Saturday evening, we were able to spontaneously sit outside with a larger group and have a drink. Extremely friendly helpful staff. Good parking options. Very impressive building/ambience. We'd love to come back - this time for dinner.

Impressive scenery but unfortunately too expensive for the quality offered. The building is very special. Unfortunately, the dining area is a bit uncomfortable and it seems more like American system catering, as there is a merchandise stand, a large screen above a large bar, a bull riding stand, etc. It looks like an oversized blockhouse from the Rocky Mountains. Unfortunately, the food is disproportionately expensive for the quality offered. I had a beef burger with avocado and fried egg. The burger was good but nothing more. Could have been more seasoned. The burger cost almost €19, which is clearly too expensive, as fries cost almost €5 and a special sauce costs €2 in addition, making the main course a total of €26. The dessert (cheesecake) was ok at €5. In total we paid over €140 for 3 people each with a burger and dessert, as well as 5 drinks. For €12 you can get cheaper and even tastier burgers from the competition. The service at 5 p.m. in the afternoon was fine and we often asked if we were satisfied or would like something else. The food was ready after 20 minutes. But I don't have to go again. A pity

So where do I start: the food was really delicious, you might have thought at the beginning that it wasn't enough but it was completely enough. The prices are very high for a meal and the service could have been a little friendlier, but that varies from person to person. It was a shame that we had reserved a table and would have really liked to sit outside because it was a very nice day. However, we were told that they didn't have any free space outside, even though there were a lot of free tables. Everyone finds something different about the ambience; I don't really like it when animal heads hang on the walls and you see open flesh in the entrance area. Still, I like the American style with the wood and the added rodeo bull. I can warmly recommend the truffle cheese fries with smoked chicken. ☺️

3 times 5 stars for good reason: Firstly, the food always tastes fresh, tasty and is prepared in an imaginative way. Secondly, we always enjoy extremely friendly and relaxed service here from well-trained staff who can say a lot about what's on the menu. Thirdly, the ambience, which is already a small experience and - given the incredible investment costs - deserves respect. We always enjoy coming here!

We've been there 4 times now. Unfortunately the first time was the best. Great service, great food. Since we have 4 children, we wanted to take them there for dinner 2 weeks later. We had to make compromises because some food wasn't there. Well, whatever can happen. On the third visit with friends the food was bad. There was no dessert at all and the service was just bad. We were told it depends on the time. Then last month it was my son's birthday. Unfortunately the service was terrible and we sat there for half an hour without drinks, again and again. The food was partly burnt, cold and overly seasoned. And that without drinks. We don't even want to talk about the dessert, the great ice cream, what we were served was simply ridiculous. For the first time it was a difference like night and day. I think there are 1000 other restaurants we can go to. Definitely not going to this one again.

We liked it very much. The restaurant is spacious and very cozy thanks to the overall ambience and the wood. Due to the size/amount of seats you can always hear other people, but it is never present or perceived as noise. The food was very good. The doneness of the steaks was exactly as we ordered. The side dishes and sauces were tasty and well balanced/matching. I personally wasn't impressed with the julienne fries, but it's a matter of taste. The only small drawback was the service and the distinction from the menu when it came to the side dishes. When we asked, they also said that the steaks had no side dish. It wasn't mentioned that there was bread and jus/gravy, which is why we also ordered more sauces and fries. Which in retrospect would have been unnecessary. So please mark it differently, or maybe we got an extra one because we were such nice guests ;)?!

Exciting restaurant with a beautifully implemented theme. The food was freshly prepared and tasted very tasty. The portions are very generous and you'll definitely be full. The service was attentive and everything went smoothly. The parking lot is a bit small, but there are enough spaces on the side of the road. Unfortunately, our request/comment from the reservation was not fully implemented or taken into account. It was still a very nice evening.

Unfortunately, the online table reservation didn't work out for us and we were told there weren't any free tables either. After a little discussion, a table was found for us. The atmosphere is quite loud, but otherwise quite cool. Unfortunately, the food didn't really impress us. My husband had steak and I had the pulled beef. It was okay but nothing more.

I was totally fascinated by the construction, the decoration and the ambience. It's great how everything is possible and something completely different. You have the option to dine inside or outside. The restaurant is very big. When we were there (weekday + lunch + summer holidays) it was relatively uncrowded and I liked it so much. The staff was extremely friendly. The food came after a short wait and we all enjoyed it at the table. Of course the price is a little higher, but for us it is also a location for special food. The menu is very diverse and you have to do if you want to read everything.

Everything was great - except for the service. It was just incredibly slow. A pity.

Very great food & amazing ambience! Reserve in advance! In this restaurant you can find the American lifestyle in construction and cuisine. The building is really solidly made of wood and makes you feel American for the moment. The food is really very tasty. The menu has a huge selection of American and Mexican dishes. The service was a bit understaffed and unfortunately we always had to call someone's attention when we needed something. But the overall impression was very great and we will be back.

A huge log cabin with modern and rustic elements serving American food. From burgers to steaks to various dessert variations, everything was there. Side dishes must be ordered separately. The portion was a bit small for my husband. Mine was more than sufficient and extremely tasty. The service was quick and friendly, the prices were reasonable. All in all, I can only recommend Timberjacks.

This place has a wonderful interior design fitted with style, ample parking, fair service, nice choices in the menu BUT the food does not taste good at all. It seems you have to dip everything in sauce to have a taste. The garlic sauce for the meat skewer was sadly dry. I don't mind it being too garlicky but the taste and texture was not made right. I'm sorry to say that they need to change the chef. What a waste— everything else was right except for the food.

It was said on the phone that it was possible to order takeaway food on site, but it was no longer possible on site. First we waited a long time in line at the entrance. Miserable!

Highly Recommended! The burgers tasted great, as did the cakes. The restaurant itself is a highlight. You can even ride bulls. The staff was simply amazing and incredibly friendly and competent. We will be back!

The ambience is really good, but this is reflected in the price. The food is expensive but rather unreasonable. The burger without a side dish costs around €17! The service is ok... attentive and friendly. Conclusion: Food ok, the price is definitely too high! Personally, I wouldn't recommend it

The two of us wanted to eat here for lunch on a Saturday. Unfortunately we were turned away even though the store wasn't full. Weird concept, ambience looked quite nice.

Today I had breakfast there with my son, something different, Pastrami Bread and Pastrami Morning Burrito

Very cool location, but that's it. Food mediocre, service very bad. Waited over 1 hour for 2 dishes on a Monday evening.
