If I have a reservation for 7:30 p.m., I don't expect to have to wait half an hour before I even get to my table. Five to ten minutes is acceptable, but 30 minutes is ridiculous. Apparently, the timing for reservations needs to be urgently revised. We went somewhere else, so hopefully those who arrived after us had a shorter wait.

What a shame, really! Such a lovely restaurant. If only the chef knew how to cook. The steak was terrible... Completely baffling how something like that could happen. Any Aldi steak lovingly prepared and cooked at home beats the food at the Timberjack. If the US is their goal, then those in charge should try selling it in the US. For such a bad steak, they cook it themselves. Unacceptable!!!! The sauce was terrible! But it looked good... but far from tasty.

The location was very nice, but we found it quite expensive for a main course. It cost over €100 for two people. They charged us for the large portion we wanted, but we only got the small portion. And the meat on the other plate was supposed to be medium, but it was very raw.

A nice ambiance with a rather stressful background noise. The staff was reasonably friendly but seemed quite stressed. While we waited for our table, we could see how long some of the finished dishes were waiting at the kitchen counter to be served. Our burgers were quite tasty, but unfortunately only lukewarm. We complained and received new burgers. We ate our sides without the burgers so they wouldn't get cold... This wasn't how we had imagined our visit to Timberjacks. One small consolation: we weren't charged for the ice cream for dessert.

The ambiance was impressive. Simply amazing. The food was also very good; one dish was a bit poorly prepared, but also priced low. But the service was a bit understaffed, or we weren't given high enough priority. The table next to us arrived after us and paid before our plates were cleared. That's not difficult when the plates sit empty on the table for 45 minutes before they're cleared away. We would have paid more if the waitress had asked for drinks more often.

There were five of us in total. Three of us ate very decent steaks from the steak menu, one a hamburger, and one a salad. The steak was good, albeit very expensive, the beef hamburger was completely overcooked and dry, and the chicken salad also left a lot to be desired. I found it funny when the waiter explained that the spice mix in the hamburger contributes to the dryness of the meat. What was completely unacceptable: a large Kölsch was served in a Schloss Alt beer glass. The vegetable side dishes were barely seasoned and only lukewarm.

We were there on our wedding anniversary, but despite mentioning it in the reservation, it wasn't a big deal. It's difficult to reserve a table in the evening on weekends, so you might want to call. The log cabin is really nice, but the prices are a bit higher, especially for steaks. If you're not familiar with it, take a look at the menu beforehand. We had 12 large prawns as a starter, very tasty, unfortunately without any bread. If you want to share, it's best to ask for an extra plate. The main course was steak (very good) and I had a burger. Unfortunately, the patty was very dry, a bit crumbly, and there was a seasoning in it, which was quite overpowering. We also had sweet potato fries. For dessert, I treated myself to a Snickers cheesecake, yummy 🤤. All in all, a very tasty lunch that I would recommend.

Generally a good restaurant, but the wait times are almost outrageous for the prices. We were here for breakfast and waited over an hour for our food (4 scrambled eggs with bread). The scrambled eggs were only lukewarm, the pancakes were almost cold and arrived before breakfast, even though we ordered them as "dessert." We also waited over 20 minutes for an iced tea and 3 coffees beforehand. :) What a shame...

Yesterday (Saturday evening), the five of us ate at Timberjacks Cologne with our family and had a thoroughly enjoyable evening. The location is fantastic, the ambiance is beautifully designed, and the menu is huge – there's guaranteed to be something for everyone. The burgers and steaks in particular were absolutely top-notch, just as you'd expect. We were also delighted by the wide selection of desserts – we were spoiled for choice in a positive way. The service was very friendly and attentive, and despite the packed restaurant, everything was served promptly. We had made a reservation online in advance, which is highly recommended for a Saturday evening. The restaurant was very busy, but everything ran smoothly. There is free and ample parking. One small downside: Due to the size of the table and the high noise level in the full restaurant, it was a bit difficult to hold a conversation. But that didn't detract from the good atmosphere and the delicious food. In conclusion: A great restaurant for families or friends who want to enjoy good food in a pleasant atmosphere. We will definitely be back!

Unfortunately, I can't rate the food, as it never happened. But let's start from the beginning. We had reserved a table and arrived two minutes early. There were already guests waiting at the reception, but no staff there. After ten minutes, we were escorted to our table and given our menu. After a fifteen-minute wait, there was still no waiter to even take our drink orders. All the glasses at the surrounding tables were also empty. Only the table directly next to us had a half-full beer. When I asked how to get it, he said it was a 30-minute wait to order, the beer would be poured right away, and then we stood at the bar for ten minutes before the waiter brought it. The result: the beer was already warm and flat. They had also been waiting forever for the food, but were given cold chicken wings as compensation. Their open and honest advice to us: "Go away while you haven't ordered yet." Since after a total of 20 minutes at the table, no waiter had yet bothered to take our order, we followed our neighbors' advice and left the restaurant. At least there was a receptionist at the front desk. We informed her that we still hadn't been served and that we were leaving. She shrugged and said she'd take note. The service is simply a disaster.

Tables took ages to clear, and we were only able to order after about 40 minutes. Our drinks then sat at the bar for at least 20 minutes before they were brought to our table, and were then refreshed with a swig of beer. The starters also arrived staggered, so we couldn't eat together. We also had to wait a long time for the cutlery. So as compensation, we were given the starters for free, but I am still very disappointed and will not be visiting the restaurant again. We advised the guests next to us to leave after they asked us how long the wait would be.

Simply brilliant. This was my first time here, so I'll start with the ambiance. It simply looks like a rustic, modern hunting lodge in XXL format, with meat displayed behind a pane of glass, a seating area with a rocking chair, and everything is rustic with modern elements, which still makes it welcoming. Unfortunately, there's no picture of the burgers, but they were also very, very tasty. We had the Mother Earth and the Penut Bacon with a tofu patty, sweet potato fries, and roasted broccoli and cauliflower drizzled with honey, along with two sauces. There's only one criticism here: the roasted broccoli and cauliflower are heavily peppered, which unfortunately wasn't mentioned anywhere, and therefore wasn't tolerated very well by the second person present. The service gets one point deducted overall, as it was a bit slow at the beginning, which could be explained by the early hour as we were there at 3:30 p.m. And if it improves on our next visits, we'll give it 5 stars as well, as the whole thing is being updated.

We went to Timberjacks yesterday for the first and probably last time. The place was visually appealing and cozy. We had a reservation and were "discovered by chance" after about 5 minutes. The restaurant was fairly empty, and the man asked us to wait another 2-5 minutes. Then we were escorted to our table. The menu was adventurous and difficult to read. Since it was a BBQ restaurant, I was looking forward to smoked meat or spare ribs. Unfortunately, they offered neither. I found fajita and taco options on the menu... odd. Since we were at a steakhouse, I ordered a 300g entrecôte and my husband ordered the 700g dry-aged prime rib, along with the truffled mashed potatoes, mushroom-truffle sauce, zucchini fries, and a small salad. The meat was a disaster and barely edible. The entrecôte was full of tendons, and the prime rib was tough. The cooking quality was also not perfect. We ordered medium rare and it was almost cooked. The side dishes were also very disappointing. The mashed potatoes were a flavorless powder, the mushroom truffle sauce was a cold, undefined dark lump, and the salad dressing was a tasteless pre-made sauce. We politely informed the waiter that the entrecôte was inedible and therefore not eaten. He asked us to deduct 40%. This was unacceptable to us, and we insisted that the meat be removed from the bill. Fortunately, the kitchen agreed, and the meat was not charged. As a small gesture, we received a milkshake on the house. It was delicious! Conclusion: • Beautiful and unusual ambiance • Presentation of the food very appealing • Quality of the food poor • Service nice but rather impersonal, clumsy, and inattentive • Price-performance disappointing and not appropriate

There were six of us at Timberjacks. When we ordered, two types of steak were sold out, which is quite strange for a steakhouse. Two of the steaks we ordered were cooked to the wrong degree. One steak was subsequently recooked. This steak tasted disgusting. We tried all of them, and it tasted like scampi. We returned it and didn't order anything else. Avocado salad had no taste. Ice cream had freezer burn. We had to wait more than an hour for the food, and it came in batches, sometimes cold. Two hamburgers were returned at the next table, so we weren't the only ones. We won't be going back to Timberjacks. The price/performance ratio is a solid 6. Two stars only because the service was very friendly and tried everything in their power. Once, not again. We paid €420 for six people.

The entrance to the huge (!) log cabin already inspires hope – and you won't be disappointed. The ambiance is just right, the staff is friendly (even if they could have been a bit quicker with the drinks), and the food is absolutely delicious. The steak and burgers, which we came for, are cooked to perfection and taste simply delicious. The extensive menu has something for everyone, with vegetarians and vegans also having a wide selection. The drinks menu leaves little to be desired; perhaps a larger selection of international beers would have been nice, but that's just complaining at a high level. For the summer, there are countless tables available around the restaurant on partially covered terraces, but there's also seemingly endless space inside. What I positively noticed was that the noise level was very pleasant and we were able to have a normal conversation, even though every table was occupied. Table reservations can easily be made online, but it's best to make them early. We got the very last table four days in advance and only at a later time. Free parking directly on site and clean restrooms round out the visit. We'd love to come back!

Well, Timberjacks, what can I say? This was our third time there, and most likely our last. The location offers ample parking right outside, and the interiors are beautifully laid out, reminiscent of a large American restaurant offering a dining experience. Everything is done in dark wood with a cabin look, and there's a large bar, all very rustic. There's a corner with an electric bull for bull-riding experiences or a small stage for live music. After about three minutes of standing at the reception desk, someone walked past us and said, "I'll be right there." No "Welcome" or "Good evening"... Nothing like that. And we weren't alone there. When we finally saw the gentleman standing in front of us, we were asked to sit on the couch in the entrance area and wait, as there was still no space for us despite having a reservation. Ten minutes later, we were shown to a table. The waitress arrived relatively quickly and brought us the menus. Our orders were also taken quickly. Non-alcoholic beers, avocado fries, and a smashed burger (with two patties), each with a side dish and additional sauce. Drinks and the small appetizer, avocado fries, arrived promptly at the table. These were also very tasty. What was missing was cutlery (fork, steak knife, napkin in a small paper bag), which at Timberjacks is usually provided in a stand on every table. Since there was no server in sight, I fetched two sets myself from a service table. Then the wait began. Over an hour later, I went to the server and asked if there was any indication of when our ordered food would arrive. The woman went straight to the kitchen to inquire. Two minutes later, the food arrived, but that was a coincidence. My glance at the burgers was a bit sparing, since the menu stated that each patty weighed 200g, and there was never 400g of meat between the burger bun halves. As we later learned, the 200g patty is split in smashburgers. But there was nothing about that on the menu. My disappointment was correspondingly great. My side dish, mashed potatoes, was just about adequate, and the coleslaw was a joke. In my opinion, it wasn't even a full tablespoon (see photo). My extra sauce was missing, but it was quickly brought to the table after I complained. The food was tasty, but the value for money wasn't even close to being right. What a shame. We then shared our feedback with the server, who was completely understanding and indicated that we weren't the only ones with similar feedback. She also stated that there were only four servers on site that evening to take orders and pay, with two more serving the food. That's simply not possible in such a large place. Empty dirty dishes and glasses were piled up on the surrounding tables and were only cleared away after 20-30 minutes. All in all, the value for money here is completely out of proportion. For prices like these, you'd expect prompt service and good food, both in terms of quality and quantity. The dining experience suggested by the location isn't lived up to in any way here. There's a lot of potential for improvement here, which isn't even remotely being utilized. It's a real shame...

I visited this restaurant today and I'm thrilled! The burgers are juicy, perfectly seasoned, and cooked to perfection! The steaks were also a highlight: tender, flavorful, and with a wonderful smoky note. The side dishes were also impressive – everything was fresh and crispy. I particularly liked the atmosphere: rustic, American style, with cool music in the background. The service was super friendly and attentive, without being intrusive. Went unplugged to see The BossHoss at Timberjacks yesterday. The welcome whiskey was delicious. Ordering drinks at the bar took 20 minutes, there was a huge queue and it felt like there were far too few staff or they were too slow. As the tickets were limited to a certain number of people, this was a bit incomprehensible. You can then calculate how many waiters you need. The BossHoss got the crowd going, but after 45 minutes it was unfortunately over. The finger food that was passed around was delicious, but for €129 and you had to pay for drinks yourself, it was far too expensive. The service at this restaurant gets worse every time. Yesterday I celebrated my birthday, and the party was ruined by the service. We had to wait a very long time for our order, and our wine glasses were brought smeared and wet. Then the food arrived, but the cutlery was missing. Cutlery was only brought on the third attempt, and only for the adults. The children had to eat with their hands because they either had to search for the waitress or constantly forgot. We ordered wine five times, but the waitress forgot our order each time. In the end, the children received their ice cream, which had already melted in their glasses. There were no extra napkins, and we had to search for the waitress the whole time.

We went there for dinner on Tuesday. The location is very attractive and has a certain charm. Unfortunately, our meal was abysmally bad, which we reported. The waitress was very friendly and apologized. That was it, unfortunately. No compensation, no concessions when paying... nothing! Personally, I had the feeling that they're probably cutting back on skilled staff in the kitchen, and I think the franchisee should take action. We won't be eating there again and unfortunately can't recommend it to anyone.

Honestly, i would recommend you to avoid this place. The interior and exterior looks amazing, but screams “tourist trap”. The service was kind and helpful, but unfortunately that didn’t change the fact that the food was borderline disgusting. Dry meat, overdone steaks, bland burgers and fries from a freezer, combined with uninteresting ice teas - all at a pretty steep price. Most of us felt sick after eating here, half of us didn’t finish their food and one of us vomited right after. Combine that with almost an hour of waiting… At least the staff was helpful and we only paid for the food we actually finished. (I actually returned my steak and got a new one, which was slightly better, but still underwhelming for 20+ euros)

First of all, I'd like to say that our waitress, Alexandra, saved a lot of things, and thanks to her, we had a lovely evening – hence the three stars, otherwise it would be fewer. We received a rather unwelcoming welcome from a curly-haired lady who later turned out to be the shift manager. We were seated at a table rather annoyed. The restaurant's hit-or-miss motto also became apparent during the meal. While some of the dishes at the table were fine, one couldn't be saved even with a refill. The shift manager promised a reasonable discount after we didn't want to wait another 15 minutes for a refill – but she wasn't very understanding. This reasonable discount turned out to be 10% off the dish, plus a free coffee – even though 50% of the steak was inedible. It was only thanks to Alexandra's support that we were able to achieve a mitigating outcome. So thank you, Alexandra, for at least being so dedicated and super-friendly!

Now that I work in the restaurant industry myself, I may be more critical of some things than an untrained eye. An absolute NO-GO: It doesn't matter what the outside and inside temperatures are – mayonnaise doesn't belong in standard containers in the condiment provided at the table. Above a temperature of 7 degrees Celsius, there's a risk of salmonella, and our mayonnaise was at least 17 degrees Celsius. Salt and pepper weren't refilled; they were also in the condiment, so I took them from another table. My son ordered a steak, medium rare, but it came to the table more than rare. I complained, and the result was medium to well-done. A restaurant that advertises itself with steaks should really have chefs capable of serving them cooked to perfection. Overall, it's totally disappointing and cheeky to charge such prices. Regarding the service: nice to look at, perhaps trying hard, but not professional in any way. There's a lack of passion for the restaurant industry. Overall, it's very disappointing. It might appeal to the untrained palate, but it's a no-go for those with culinary knowledge. For those who love fast food, this is a culinary highlight at completely overpriced prices.

(Saturday evening - 7 people) ✅ Nice ambiance ❌ Insufficient service staff ❌ 1.5 hour wait for food ❌ Long wait for drinks! ❌ Very expensive for the portions! ❌ Bull riding: Waiting time of more than 30 minutes (for staff), even though the machine was unused! Overall, the staff was very attentive, but unfortunately, there weren't enough people for the number of guests. For us, it was our first and last visit!

A very nice place. Well done in the American style with a touch of Canada. But when I order a steak (as a chef) and have to explain twice that I ordered a 300-gram steak, and they serve me the same 200-gram steak twice (including cold fries), and then they try to argue about it a third time, which I stopped right in the beginning because I HAD to send the steak back to make it clear that I wasn't going to be ripped off, then something's wrong. Timberjack's slogan is: (lol), You can't fake a steak... My experience: Yes(!) they can!!!

Overall, the ambiance is the best in the entire restaurant. The service was accommodating and okay. I don't like the menu layout. It's too overloaded. It's enough if you have a bit of everything, but it's amazing. Would I recommend it? Not really, but that doesn't mean it was bad; there are just better ones. Addendum: You're not greeted, served, and paying was also difficult. The service was really bad; you're passed from one employee to the next, and no one feels responsible for taking your order. Communication within the team seems to be poor. In my opinion, the service was not attentive. The shake had 80% cream and 20% shake. Thanks for nothing 🫶🏼 If my review gets deleted, no problem. There were five of us there. The food was delicious, and the waitress, Maggie, was especially friendly and accommodating. Even when a cocktail didn't quite meet our expectations, it was removed from the bill without comment and replaced with another drink. Hey Timberjacks, what's happened since our last visit (about 9 months ago)? Complete ordering chaos: First, a cold veggie burger arrived, then a hot one—but soggy and completely flavorless. We've had the same burger a few times on our last visits, back then with a completely different, really good patty. Then our food arrived completely out of time (including the cold, partially frozen burger, which then took another 20 minutes to arrive). We also had to be lucky to even get a decent seat on the patio—despite having a reservation. Our fries came three times, twice with the wrong side, and we even had to pay for two portions, even though we only ate one of the three fries that were delivered. Oh yeah: The other veggie burger we requested was sold out :-/ We were constantly forgotten about when it came to drinks – and it wasn't that busy (I used to work in the restaurant industry myself, and our section was easily manageable with two people). Everyone serving was definitely friendly and helpful. But unfortunately, that's it for us with you. What a shame, really.

The food is always delicious, and the cocktails are also very good. The interior design and décor are very well done. The parking spaces fill up quickly depending on the crowds. However, you should always be able to find a spot on the surrounding parallel streets. However, we find the food far too expensive for the portions you get. And reservations are a must.

We went there on a whim. The food was quite good, but the meat wasn't perfect. The service was attentive and friendly. As for the ambiance, the location is outstanding, but it seems like the work environment isn't great, as we unfortunately witnessed a black-haired bartender yelling at several employees. Ultimately, we would recommend the restaurant, as long as internal disputes aren't carried out in front of customers.

First of all, I have to say that the welcome and the service staff were super friendly. The visual ambiance and the log cabin presentation, the music, and everything, can briefly transport you to the USA or Canada – Timberjacks does this better than any other restaurant I've been to. My recommendation, however, is not to have high expectations for the food; unfortunately, much of it was cold and/or burnt, or completely inadequately seasoned. Of the four main courses and two appetizers, about half tasted good. I'd come for a drink next time, but I wouldn't eat anything or try the dessert.

Attention: Incorrect opening hours! We made a reservation for Christmas breakfast at 10:00 AM and called today to ask if they also serve breakfast during the week. It turns out they don't open until 12:00 PM, so there's no breakfast. It would have been very frustrating if we had simply arrived to find the doors locked, despite our reservation.

It's finally getting better again, like it used to be. 😍 Soon the normal pizzas will finally be available again, which we are really looking forward to!! 😊 The staff was very accommodating. The food was ready quickly and tasted very tasty (aglio olio with shrimp). As soon as the pizza is available again, we will definitely come back regularly. Please also offer the option of seasoning yourself (oregano, chili, garlic oil next to the cutlery stand). 😊

You don't really expect much from a restaurant in an airport terminal. But here we were proven wrong. The service and friendliness of the staff were wonderful. The food was of good quality and excellent value for money. There's really nothing to complain about. "Please do not leave your luggage unattended." :-)
