ThermenRestaurant in Bad Rodach

We went to dinner with two people and ordered the following: 2x Prosecco and 2x Frankenwald schnitzel with gratin. After the Prosecco, which had apparently been waiting for a guest in an opened bottle for some time, we had to order more drinks at the bar because no one else was paying attention to us. Regarding the food, the salad and fried potatoes were good, but the schnitzel was cooked for so long that it was more like a biscuit than a schnitzel. The service was friendly but inattentive and seemingly overwhelmed. We only saw them taking our orders and bringing the food. (No one asked if everything was okay and if it was still tasty, and whether we wanted anything else.) We even had to go to the bar to pay the bill. All in all, we won't be visiting this restaurant again.

A lovely ambiance and a great view of the spa or park. It's nice and quiet and child-friendly. Everyone enjoyed the food!

The Frankenwald schnitzel is delicious. Good prices and fast service.

The older lady at the cash register wasn't very friendly. The younger lady in the kitchen was friendly. Nevertheless, we had to wait 50 minutes for a schnitzel, and it came with cold fries.

Always good. High praise to the chef and the always friendly service staff. We'll be back again and again. Highly recommended.

Very good food and really friendly staff. My highlight was definitely the lovely ambiance, the comfortable seating, and the swan-shaped food. I'd love to go back!!!

The two of us ate here twice, and all four dishes (vegetarian, one fish) were delicious. Everything was freshly prepared. We saw the chef fetching fresh herbs from the terrace. The service was good, and the waitresses were very friendly. The ambiance is pleasant. We especially liked the comfortable chairs. We can't understand some of the negative reviews at all.

Flaschenpfand wird mit berechnet , was der Gast allerdings oft nicht weiß. Vom Personal wird zum Gast gesagt:" die leeren Flaschen stellen Sie dann einfach dahin." Das wird leider seit Jahren so in dem Bistro praktiziert.

Dinner in the sauna area restaurant. Very nice, friendly service and good food. Redcurrant spritzer with a pleasingly good fruit content, herring on a remoulade dip with salad and boiled potatoes, very good and beautifully presented. Excellent value for money!

The young team, not yet fully up to the Franconian mentality, but always try hard and lets the flair of the former thermal bath restaurant revive in a contemporary way.. Top taste, top portions, top quality, top ambience, keep it up, see you soon

The service was quick and very friendly. Unfortunately, many finished products are processed. My vegetables in the chicken curry were cooked very softly, as if they had been kept warm for a long time. The taste was OK.

The food tasted good but it took over 1 hour to be served. The service was sometimes friendly, but very disorganized. The restaurant was busy and reservations are recommended.

Very friendly and pleasant service in the restaurant, but that doesn't hide the bad food. It's unclear to me how the good reviews come about. The only thing that is freshly prepared here are the salads. Everything else we ordered was canned and/or frozen and would have needed a few more minutes in the microwave to be really hot.

We had planned lunch here for the school launch and made reservations a few months in advance. Now on the day in question we stood at the door with family and friends and were then sent away again with statements like “the cook is not there” or “the oven is broken”. We are extremely disappointed. No call even though the phone number was stored. They even asked for our number again because management wanted to comment on it. Also missing. Just sad. We had planned our day fully but this incident threw everything off. Thanks for nothing!!

A very nice restaurant, right in the Bad Rodach thermal baths. Food was plentiful and good.

Wir waren mit den Kindern da, die extra kleine Portionen bekamen. Das Essen war absolut mit frischen und leckeren Zutaten bereitet worden und schmeckte vorzüglich. Einen schönen Platz außen auf der Terrasse bei Sonnenuntergang und herrlichem Wetter - war alles in allem ein toller Abend.

Were there for the second time now. It was the same friendly lady who served us. The first time we had coffee and a Kaiserschmarrn. Delicious. 👌🏻 This time we were there for dinner and it was a dream. I had the Frankenschnitzel and my wife had the potato-zuchini pancakes with salmon. Both meals were freshly prepared, plentiful and perfectly priced. 👍🏻 The view from the terrace over the thermal baths into the green forest and the gentle rippling of the water also rounded off the visit. We'll definitely be back. Thanks again to the nice service staff. 👍🏻

We have arrived again after a year and I can say that development has not stopped. Little by little everything is adapting to the framework of modernity. I expect to see an elite vacation spot in the near future. I wish you much success and development!

I was just there. I sat outside for 10 minutes (from 5:24 p.m. to 5:34 p.m. - the clock was right in front of me) - no one came... So goodbye forever!

Small menu, food is good. Moderate prices. There is even a 10% discount for guest card holders, but you have to take the initiative yourself. The overall service could be a bit more professional. Otherwise highly recommended

The vitamin cocktail was a mixed mix of Tetra Pak juice and grenadine… sugar plus sugar and preservatives. It's a real shame ☹️

Unfortunately, I have to share my disappointing experience that I and my companion (4 people) had here last week. The food was largely prepared from ready-made products and tasted accordingly. There was also only a limited selection of food, which also disappointed us. We also had to wait a long time to even be served, even though the restaurant wasn't particularly busy. All in all, our visit to the restaurant was not satisfactory and we will not come back. LG

Rude reception from 6 p.m. everything reserved. We were then able to order food at 5 p.m. Frankenwaldschnitzel .Roasted potatoes greasy .Schnitzel finished product and mushrooms lukewarm with baked ham and cheese warm. There is still a lot of room for improvement. We definitely won't be able to eat again.

Nice bathroom. Food is delicious. The staff in every area couldn't be better.

War hier zum ersten mal. Bedienung sehr nett, Essen war richtig gut und das Ambiente passt auch perfekt. Schade, dass das Wetter sehr schlecht war deshalb konnten wir nicht auf die Terrasse. Kann ich nur empfehlen

In die Jahre gekommen ist das Ambiente nicht mehr so einladend. Die Bedienung ist freundlich und bemüht.Leider fehlt es hier und da. Das Essen allerdings ist diesmal wirklich schlecht gewesen. Wir waren heute zum dritten Mal hier und davon war nur einmal empfehlenswert. Schade!

Mit der superlieben jungen Dame als Bedienung schmeckt das Essen gleich schmackhafter! Gerne wieder

Gutes Essen und gute Bedienung. Das Ambiente ist in den Neunzigern stehen geblieben. Der Preis ist okay.

Schlechte Bedienung. Dauert ewig.

Sehr leckerer Braten und der Spargel zur Spargelzeit war erste Klasse. Auch das Schnitzelgericht, die Suppe und die Puffer mit dem geräucherten Lachs waren hervorragend. Der Kaiserschmarrn war lecker aber für meinen Geschmack etwas zu süß.

Schönes Ambiente , Service konnte etwas besser sein. Zb. Getränke mit Tablett servieren, Zusatzteller zum Salat und erst abräumen wenn alle fertig sind. Essen war gut außer die Bratkartoffeln, die schmeckten alt und nicht frisch. Aber alles in allem gut werde es nochmal probieren.

Wir waren seit langer Zeit mal wieder im ThermenRestaurant zum Essen und waren sehr zufrieden. Es hat lecker geschmeckt und Preis/Leistung war in Ordnung. Besonders hervorheben möchten wir den sehr netten und zuvorkommenden Service. Die beiden Kräfte hatten trotz vollem Lokal immer ein Lächeln auf dem Gesicht und haben auch zeitnah nachgefragt, ob alles in Ordnung ist und ob wir noch Wünsche hätten. Wir kommen gerne wieder vorbei.

Waren am Vatertag 2022 hier, Essen war tlw nur lauwarm, Bedienung hat nicht mal gefragt ob es geschmeckt hat, finde ich gehört dazu. Das Schnitzel Wiener Art war okay, kann man aber a net viel verkehrt machen. Küchenpersonal hat unmotivierten Eindruck hinterlassen nachdem eine rausgeschaut hat und lustlos Kommentare abgegeben wurden. mMan konnte in die Küche schauen, Koch hat sich sonstwo gekratzt und dann essen zubereitet, geht gar nicht. 2 Gäste kamen 1std vor Schluss, bekamen nichts mehr zu essen usw…, also wir werden hier nicht mehr zum Essen kommen

Sehr sehr nettes Personal. Sehr schöne Atmosphäre auch für eine Feier. Das Essen immer top. Bitte weiter so.

Nach langer Zeit waren wir mal wieder im ThermenRestaurant. So gut wie diesmal war es noch nie. Das Essen war fantastisch, der Service ausgezeichnet. Zusätzlich zur vielfältigen Speisekarte gibt es auch noch wechselnde Tagesgerichte. Wir waren so begeistert, dass wir gleich am nächsten Tag wieder dort gespeist haben und wurden auch prompt von der Bedienung wiedererkannt. Zum Nachtisch haben wir uns den Kaiserschmarrn mit karamellisierten Walnüssen und Vanilleeis gegönnt, ein Träumchen. Wir freuen uns schon auf den nächsten Besuch in der Therme und im Thermenrestaurant.

Wir waren zum 3. mall dort essen. Trotz Corona hat alles sehr gut funktioniert, alle Corona Regeln wurden befolgt. Die Bedienungen waren jedesmal sehr freundlich und nahmen auch Sonderwünsche an. Wir haben Ente, Rind, Schwein und Fisch gegessen, hat alles sehr gut geschmeckt. Wir waren auch zum Weisswurst-Früstück mit Blaskapelle dort, war sehr unterhaltsam. Wir kommen wieder

Ein schönes lokal essen ist sehr gut. Der Koch ist klasse, brachte uns ab und an das Essen, Bedienung ist sehr nett und freundlich. Die Speisekarte übersichtlich nicht zu überladen. Also dieses Restaurant lohnt sich zu besuchen. Preisleistung okey

Hatten dort eine größere Veranstaltung im Restaurant. Bedienung nicht besonders gut organisiert. Während der Vorträge hat das Lokaltelefon ständig geklingelt, sehr störend.

Wir sind sehr enttäuscht von dem Restaurant! Nach einem herrlichen Besuch in dem Bad mussten wir eine höchst unfreundliche Bedienung ertragen, die es wohl als Last empfand uns bedienen zu müssen. Dieses Restaurant sollte man meiden!

Wir waren heute hier und wurden sehr freundlich bedient und bewirtet. Das Essen war perfekt, wir kommen wieder. Nettes Ambiente, sehr Hundefreundlich,.... Was will man mehr.
