First we waited half an hour until we got the tickets. Then time passed again until the waitress came. She simply walked away while we were ordering food, then came back after about twenty minutes. The food came in a reasonable time. The drinks, however, came last (starter over, main course almost finished). I was very disappointed in the taste. The Metaxa sauce was very thin and very oily and also tasted very bland. Almost the same with the salad; almost no taste.

Super delicious Greek food, great hostess! I really enjoy being a guest there when I'm in Bad Rodach! Clear recommendation!

Our greeting was met with a question about reservations and a shout of “on the terrace” as we hurried on. After a while, the waitress dropped the menu cards that were under her arm onto the table in front of us as she passed by. No question about drinks - it was very warm that evening. My husband's dish was slightly different than what he ordered. My starter plate consisted of eggplants and zucchini carelessly thrown on top of each other. During the course there was no question about further wishes. The hectic activity of the waitresses continued. I give the 2 stars for the ambience because of the beautiful view from the terrace. The table was without any decoration. This is our second visit to Bad Rodach, a well-kept place with an excellent thermal bath and a beautiful motorhome parking space in a scenic location. We'll be back, but not to the "Dolphin".

A group of 6 came at short notice on a Friday and were immediately looked at strangely, but then assigned a table. Since my friend has diabetes and was feeling poorly, two people went to the toilet for a moment. After we told the first waitress that we needed a moment because two people were missing, the next waitress came after 1 (!!) minute and asked the same thing. You should agree on who will serve which table. Starter: Broad beans were very tasty. A starter was forgotten so I pointed it out and was told she would ask and let me know. The waiter didn't look at the table after that and walked past us several times. The starter then came with the main course. However, baked soft cheese, not gratinated. (Wasn't eaten, but wasn't charged either) Main course: Greek food from one Peeson was apparently good, the other people had pizza or salad (vegan said). The tuna pizza had what felt like a can of tuna on it (far too much in our opinion) and the specials weren't particularly good either and weren't just flabby but the dough wasn't even completely cooked through. The Greca (with minced meat) was with Bolognese, and there was more than enough of it, the plate was dripping with fat, so I only managed to squeeze in two pieces out of hunger. When the comment was made it just said that it was the meat. I fry meat and then remove all the fat if there is already that much, or use meat that is not 80% fat. The salad that was ordered vegan was probably not vegan, so it was pretty much left alone. Nobody wanted to eat dessert anymore. 2 mochas were drunk while the others stood outside the car. The waitress opens the door, goes back in and looks at us very stupidly/angryly. There were no more tips for the service either. Mercifully, there are still 2 stars for the broad beans and the Greek main course. Maybe we should stick to Greek dishes.

The restaurant was full (we went on a Sunday), restaurant looked very decorated inside - lots of great Greek pictures. Service was top, friendly, came to the table often, sometimes even asked twice.

We were guests at the Delphin at short notice with 5 people on a Saturday evening. The restaurant was very busy and everything went smoothly, a quick hello and we felt welcome. Drinks and food came to the table including all special requests and tasted very good. The staff remains friendly despite the stress. Recommended!

Unfortunately I was absolutely disappointed. We were there with 8 people for dinner at 6 p.m. The drinks were then consumed immediately after a few minutes. Unfortunately nothing happened for 45 minutes after that. After 45 minutes, seven drinks and 6 ouzos arrived. The seventh drink can then be added and the food order has been taken. The other two ouzos were only available after repeated requests. At around 7:45 p.m. we slowly got our first meal, and by the time everyone had their food, the first ones had already finished eating. The gyro was dry. Unfortunately, the rest of the meat wasn't prepared much better. All in all the whole evening was a disappointment. We left the restaurant at 9 p.m. and unanimously decided to go somewhere else to eat in the future.

We had a wonderful evening with the family. This is our second time there and the food is excellent! In addition, our two dogs were well looked after. We were given water, treats and a table with plenty of space. Rarely have I seen such nice people! We are always grateful when dogs are allowed at all and they were really welcome here! I've always enjoyed going to the Delphin with friends, but tonight has converted me. You have to know that it is always very crowded and loud when you visit this restaurant. Today a chair was taken away without comment despite a reservation, then put back in a bad mood because we pointed out that two more people would be joining us. But then the food order didn't work either. A starter was completely forgotten, the waitress walked past the table very often, but only took a new drink order after 1 hour, the 3 cappuccini ordered turned out to be 3 malt coffee with spray cream, which was only delivered after 30 minutes when asked twice were brought to the table. The Blörre was crumbly and couldn't be drunk and was of course immediately complained about and then taken back. When paying, different prices than those stated in the menu were charged. This is how you alienate long-standing customers!

Good and rich food, friendly service.

Went there today based on a recommendation. We ordered a table and that was good because the restaurant was very busy. Service was super friendly and attentive. Orders were taken quickly and drinks and appetizers came very quickly. First there was a round of ouzo. Starters were delicious. The main course took a little longer. Unfortunately, of the 4 main courses, only 1 was top. In the other 3, the meat from the skewers was so well cooked that you couldn't cut through it or even chew it. Otherwise, everything else was delicious. Of course, we passed this on to the waitress, who passed it on really friendly welcome. As an apology, one meal was not charged and there was also a bottle of red wine. The portions themselves are really large. The portions of the salads served were also very generous, so that two people could have been fed up with it. But you could pack up the salads and take them with you. The background noise, as some have already mentioned, is very loud but now it's not an issue to see as a defect because the restaurant is large and therefore of course when it's full that's just normal. Some reviews said this that the place was old-fashioned but that's not true. It's a bright, open space. In the middle, some seats are separated a bit, which makes the whole thing seem a little more comfortable. It's not as cozy as you would imagine a Greek to be, but that's just a matter of taste. We'll definitely come back again in the hope that the meat thing today was an exception.

Nicht mehr das was es mal war! Wartezeit über eine Stunde! Auf Nachfrage Personal nicht kompetent! Kann keine kompetente zeit angeben! Dauert noch! Kinder warten auf Essen! Sowas von schlecht geworden! Kein Verständnis! Sollten sich mal schämen! Frechheit!

Ein Ambiente, nicht Griechenland sondern ein Abklatsch. Sehr viele Gerichte ohne das gewisse Etwas. Fleisch war bei jedem gleich (trocken und zäh) ohne den griechischen Pepp. Wir waren von unserem Griechen etwas anderes gewöhnt. Für das Geld kann man schon Qualität verlangen. So war der Besuch ein Reinfall schade.

Ich war schon mehrmals dort essen und das essen ist jedesmal wieder gut, selbst wenn viel los ist und fast alle Tische besetzt sind, nimmt die Qualität des Services und des Essens nicht ab. Defenetiv das beste Griechische Restaurant das ich kenne.

Unschlagbare Preise für das VIELE an Essen. Gut und reichlich. Vorspeise braucht man fast gar nicht, denn es wird zu jedem Hauptgericht ein Salt als Vorspeise gereicht. Vorbestellung zwingend nötig! Da Lokal immer verbucht. Verzehr im Restaurant, aber auch zum Mitnehmen... Toilette im Keller

Wir waren mit der ganzen Familie dort und konnten lange schön zusammen sitzen. Es war von jung bis alt für jeden was dabei. Das Essen war sehr, sehr gut und der Service super kompetent und freundlich. Das Ambiente hat für uns sehr gut gepasst.

Wir kamen spontan in das Restaurant und waren zum Glück pünktlich, denn es trudelten nach und nach eine Vielzahl von Gästen ein. Uns viel auf, dass es sehr laut in der Gaststätte ist, daher ein Stern Abzug. Dass Essen und der Service waren klasse. Schade war nur, dass wir unser Essen (4 Stück) nicht zusammen erhalten haben und somit nicht gemeinsam essen konnten.

Die Lammkoteletts waren von minderer Qualität. Bei jedem Bissen hatte man den Mund voller Fett und Flexen. Die Weinschorle abgestanden, das Galaktoboureko bestand aus einer trockenen Schicht Griesbrei und fettigem Filoteig. Was ist aus dem einstig vorzüglichen Griechen geworden? Mir ein Rätsel.

Super lecker und sehr netter Service. Ambiente ist ja immer geschmackssache. Gerne wieder!

Bestes Griechische Restaurant überhaupt essen 100% Service 100% alles 100%

Dieses griechische Lokal ist wirklich zu empfehlen. Speisen sind immer reichlich, heiß, frisch und sehr lecker. Der Service ist unübertroffen und die Chefin ist sehr zuvorkommend, freundlich und vorallem flott bei der Aufnahme und Lieferung der Gerichte. Das Servicepersonal vom feinsten. Immer wieder gerne, unser Lieblingsrestaurant.

Wir waren am Sonntag Abend da, obwohl der Laden fast komplett ausgebucht war konnten wir entspannt sitzen und für den Betrieb war das Essen sehr schnell fertig. Was ich zu bemängeln habe, die Cola war unangenehm warm und die Tintenfischringe nicht kross was ich allerdings auf das volle Haus schiebe. Der Gyros ist ein Träumchen ebenso wie Sosse und Reis. Das Lokal ist sehr stimmig eingerichtet und die Wandbemalung schaffen eine tolle Atmosphäre.

Alles war zu lange auf dem Grill. Die Leber, Gyros und Suflaki waren komplett durch und dadurch hart. Eine Entschuldigung gab es nicht, nur einen erstaunten Blick. Geschmacklich war es o.k.

Wir waren heute das erste Mal dort. Ein nettes Restaurant, mit kleinen Nischen zum sitzen. Wenn es voll ist so wie bei unserem Besuch ist die Lautstärke sehr störend, Unterhaltungen fast nur durch schreien möglich. Das Essen war sehr gut und von den Portionen voll ausreichend. Wir werden einen weiteren Besuch bestimmt einplanen.

Unser Besuchserlebnis wurde von trockenem, fettigen Essen getrübt und von der Tatsache, dass mir meine Begleitung aufgrund fehlender Getränke in den Mund spucken musste, damit ich beim Versuch meine „Garnelen“ herunterzubekommen nicht dehydrierte. Die Tintenfischringe waren neben Unmengen an Panade interessanter Weise mit Plastikstückchen garniert (ein Klassiker der griechischen Küche). Die Pommes führten schlussendlich bei meiner Begleitung zu Tränen und dem Wunsch durch den Salat Erlösung zu finden. Der Salat versagte. Bedienung ganz nett und Tsatsiki gut.

Der "Standard"-Grieche. Sehr netter, freundlicher und flotter Service. Sauberes, helles, wenig dekoriertes, unaufdringliches Lokal. Große Terrasse. Standardkarte. Große Portionen. Leider, alte trockene Gyros dazu ordentliche Tintenfischringen. Schade.

Location, Bedienung, Essen alles auf höchstem Niveau.

Uns gefällt es dort immer. Das Essen schmeckte bisher immer. Die Mitarbeiter sind freundlich und man muss nicht ewig aufs Essen warten.

Arrivée à une heure tardive suivant les critères locaux (20h), nous avons été bien accueillis même si nous ne parlons pas allemand et que seul un des serveurs parle anglais. Belle carte, et bons plats : gyros poulet pour nous, c'est simple, bon et très copieux. Vous pouvez demander à emporter la fin de votre assiette ça ne pose aucun souci. En résumé, une bonne adresse.

Zunächst erstmal, dort ist es immer voll, man muss reservieren. Wir hatten zu zweit nicht reserviert und saßen dementsprechend an einem sehr lauten und stressigen Tisch in der Nähe der Küche. Um von dort auch direkt mitzubekommen wie die Chefin mit ihren Mitarbeitern umgeht. Zu den Gästen mag sie ja nett sein, zum Personal ist sie es nicht. Das Essen ist wie bei jedem Griechen und hebt sich nicht ab. Preise sind im oberen Bereich, aber normal für einen Griechen. In Coburg gibt es bessere.

Das beste griechische Restaurant überhaupt! Qualitativ hochwertige und sehr appetitliche Gerichte und die Chefin ist große Klasse! So etwas kinderliebes haben wir noch nie erlebt! Wahnsinn wie sie sich alle Gerichte samt sonderwünsche fehlerfrei merkt! DER Grieche der seines Gleichen sucht! Versprochen!
