The food, the service, the atmosphere, where all great! Just keep in mind it's very expensive!

It wasn’t that busy but the service wasn’t that good. But food wise, they had the one of the best fusion Indian dishes. I loved lamb chops were so soft and tender, perfectly cooked and very well spiced.

Fine dining restaurant with a correspondingly expensive menu. Nice atmosphere, tables are pretty close together. Were there for lunch. Food was ok, but nothing that you can't get in the same quality at the Indian place around the corner.

It's a stylish restaurant close to Altstadt, it's not obvious from the outside seating area, you should definitely sit inside. We went with a large group of friends, they reserved a round table for us so everyone could join in the communal conversation while enjoying the place. The service was very polite, even though there were many of us, our food arrived at the same time and we did not wait long. Bombastic butter chicken 3/5 Rice 2/5 Pakora baby spinach 5/5 (be sure to try) Naan Butter garlic 5/5 Cruncy Papadam 5/5 The prices are not worth the food, but the atmosphere is satisfying. It can be preferred on special occasions, we had a pleasant evening, overall I recommend it.

Outstanding Indian cuisine restaurant that offers both indoor and outdoor seating areas, known for its exceptional service. The chicken tandoori along with basmati rice were absolutely fantastic, and I thoroughly enjoyed the naan, raita, and mango chutney. To top it off, the Mango Mess dessert was delightful. I will definitely be returning for another memorable dining experience.

I finally had time to visit the Ivory Club again. I would particularly like to highlight the cocktail bar, where you can enjoy a good cocktail before dinner. The food was once again excellent and the ambience was unbeatable. In my opinion, the service could be a little more personal.

We actually wanted to go somewhere else but my companion said he loved the Ivory Club. I have to say I'm not the biggest fan of Indian food but this was particularly tasty. We also had a steak that was prepared incredibly well and tender as butter. I would like to come back :)

Excellent cuisine with a very high quality ambience. The car can be left in front of the entrance and will be parked. The waiters were very professional and friendly. We were there with our little son and it was very family friendly.

How can a store in 2024 still advertise “colonial cuisine” and have plastic elephant tusks on the doorstep? How uncritical and tasteless do you have to be for that? When I saw the restaurant I really thought it must be a bad joke, there's no way you could be serious. And which people visit such a restaurant?

Good steaks. Regular fillet steaks were no longer available. The service wasn't easy to get, we had to call more often. The ambience is great and the free valet service is a good service on top. Overall, always worth a visit, as are all the restaurants in the Mook Group.

German service...Worst service ever. Not my first time at this place or at the other mook group restaurants. I reserved a table but the restaurant was flooded due to the heavy rain and I needed to wait at the bar in Zenzakan. Which is all fine, but if you ask me to wait for a nice table you should offer me drinks and not just sit me at the bar where I need to pay for them by myself. Plus you should inform me that it might take over an hour and ask me if I want to wait in that case I waited over one hour and no table was available. Thank you, next!

Good spicy curry with tofu. No miracles, just good food Long time meals awaiting

We came here for dinner on Wednesday night on the recommendation of a friend that lives in Frankfurt. The interior of the restaurant is such a cool vibe, very dim and atmospheric. The restroom also leans into the vibe with a full on jungle atmosphere that I found delightful. Service throughout our meal was incredibly attentive with our waitress helping us to make some difficult decisions given the fact that the whole menu looked amazing. For starters we got the pani puri, crispy fried pakora spinach and a side of curry vegetables. For dinner we had the chicken tikka, tandoori chicken, lamb shank, tandoori prawns, tarka dhal and naan. I would be hard pressed to choose a favorite dish because we truly loved everything. It was a great final dinner for our vacation and would highly recommend this restaurant to friends.

Very Cool decor and lovely ambiance, but sadly that’s the only good thing to say about this place! The food is not even close to being authentic! The waiter was so rude.. he even messed up our drinks order twice.. It’s ok to charge premium prices for fancy decor but then I expect better service and food as at the end of the day you’re a restaurant and not a fancy museum!

Beautiful atmosphere, requires more Indians in Indian food

There is nothing at all to complain about about the food, the location and the decor of the restaurant. Only the service on our evening was a catastrophe for our understanding of service. The lady who assigned the tables and was therefore the first contact with the restaurant didn't make a welcoming impression and didn't have a stubborn mentality. The food came, we ate, food was good. While clearing up, the waiter splashed grease on one of the group and noticed it, which can happen. However, we would have expected at least a small apology, then that wouldn't have been an issue. However, it was simply ignored without a word.

It’s decor and ambience is amongst the finest I have seen in Frankfurt. But that’s about it. Don’t think I have had worse food than what I had last evening. Service was cold to say the least.

Was okay. The food itself tastes good. Steak is recommended. Unfortunately the service is not up to par. Very slowly. So we waited 10 minutes or so every time we ordered a coke and it was forgotten. Water was sometimes limited to order, sometimes just left out. Basically the service didn't seem professional. Rather a bit silly. A pity. The ambience is nicely done.

If I was able to give 6 stars, I would! All of the staff was extremely friendly and the ambiance was awesome! What exceeded my expectations was that I rudely asked for a USB port to charge my phone and they went above and beyond via letting me use the charger from their iPad that they used for seating!

We visited this place after going to watch England v Denmark at the Euros. We're so glad we did. The food is amazing and they have a great wine list. The service was special too, in particular from Dani who was very friendly and made us feel welcome. We've been to Michelin star Indian restaurants in London and this is up there with some of the best we've been to. The football was disappointing but the Ivory Club most definitely wasn't. Loved it

See and be seen - that is the motto here. And accordingly also the type of person who puts the handle in his hand. Certainly not an intellectual meeting place, more like wannabe high society. The quality of the food therefore plays a minor role here, as the sophistication of the taste is less important to the lacquered guests than the presentation and showing off for Instagram. Hui on the outside, yuck on the inside - at least guest and food have something in common.

Ambience and service are great. The food didn't quite meet our personal taste.

This place is really good overall, both in terms of food and service. That said, this is expected given the price. Some nice surprises: the naan portions were bigger than expected (see photos), and also the dishes come with rice. Some interesting fusion ideas: the tacos for instance were excellent. This was phenomenal. On the other hand, the caprese was OK: the burrata works well with the chutneys and papaya, but it was lots of flavours together and it was difficult to taste everything very well. In terms of starters, tacos were best, followed by the pani puri. The chaat was very basic, just a normal salad. Would not recommend personally. Mains were quite good! I loved the butter chicken though my family likes it sweeter. I thought it was perfect. The tandoori chicken was seriously succulent… still surprised they got chicken breast to be that soft! The lamb shank… falling off the bone. The mango curry was okay; mango flavour overpowering and the chicken slightly powdery. The tikka masala had a similar powdery texture, but the sauce was very difficult to what I’ve had before (it was OK). The naans were very doughy, I’ve had better elsewhere.

Amazing space with amazing food. All was great and I’d love to go back.

The restaurant is on the more expensive side. They are an Indian cuisine and a steakhouse at the same time. To me it’s a weird combination. Personally, I don’t enjoy smelling Indian food while eating a steak. Thought I’m willing to budge for a steak this good. I had their fillet mignon cut, which comes a side of your choice. I choose the fries which were good. Also, I shared a salad, but I didn’t like it as much.

Fine dining in Frankfurt. Here you can enjoy delicious cocktails, steaks and Indian cuisine. The location has its own underground car park. ATTENTION: If you leave your vehicle to the valet service, check for possible damage before handing it in and after taking it back. My rim was damaged. But Mookgroup denied it via email through the managing director. There is a point deduction for email. And another point deduction for the damage to the rim.

Kaum zu bewerten. Für einen vegetarischen Gast sehr schwierig. Trotz Bitte um Verzicht auf Schärfe war das Auberginen Curry (lt Karte "0 Chilli") ungenießbar scharf und mit zahlreichen Chilli-Flocken. Eine weniger scharfe Alternative konnte nicht angeboten werden. Der Gast musste hungrig gehen. Immerhin wurde auf eine Berechnung verzichtet. Völlig anderes Erlebnis für den viel Schärfe vertragenden Gast. Das "Curry in a hurry" war sehr zart und super lecker. Sehr freundlicher Service.

For me, the best Indian food ever March 2024 • Family From now on, The Ivory Club is in my diary when I'm in Frankfurt. The ambience and the service are very good, the food is simply fantastic - the taste is top notch, as you could only wish for lamb with an Indian touch. A really successful evening.

Food and service have been at the top level for years and at a good price-performance ratio!

A bit noisy, making conversations at normal volume difficult. Food and ambience, but great. Price performance completely okay.

We visit this restaurant every couple of months. The decor is absolutely lovely, so too is the service. The overall quality of the food is good, the starters being a particular high point. Sometimes the meat in the curries is a little on the tough side, but the sauces are excellent. Very good choice of wine. The prices are quite high. I am more than happy to pay them, considering the decor and service, but I find that charging €13 for a cheese naan is over the top.

Perfect place for date night! The steak is definitely a winner paired with the truffle mashed potatoes. The tables are a bit crowded, so I would not recommend coming with kids.

A real Frankfurt hotspot! Definitely a place to be on the weekend. The food is very tasty and the service is good, but it would be nice to pay a little more attention to the guest. The ambience is unique and the furnishings are stylish and beautiful. All time favorite!

Excellent food and drinks. Our friendly waitress today was able to answer all questions and give very good tips about food and drinks.

Food is TOP! Service is technically very good, but chaotic... (On a Sunday evening) Placement and reservation were a bit difficult. Order was only taken when we asked. Food came very quickly. Unfortunately, wine was not refilled and bowls of sauce were still on the table with dessert. Toilets very clean. Butter chicken (main course) highly recommended - as well as the shrimp (starter)! Cocktails 10/10!! Crowd mixed... Families, business people, dates (young/old)... Location 12/10. Valet parking available👍 🏽❤️I would still come back ANYTIME, it's worth it.

Ambience: Very nice restaurant. Dark wood everywhere and on the stairs is a huge wooden peacock adorning the center of the room. The entire interior is reminiscent of the colonial era in British India. Is definitely a restaurant suitable for formal and fine dining occasions. What stands out are details elements like the lights that look like elephants etc. It's worth a visit just to see the interior. Service: Very professional service. The employees there have been there for a long time. At least you can always recognize a familiar face. Very friendly and accommodating. The only thing you have to complain about is if you get there even 2 minutes earlier than opening times, then you are left standing outside and the employees ignore you even when they come out and are spoken to. Eat: So far I've only ever tried the Blackend Filet and it's the best I've found in Frankfurt so far. Without question, outstanding steak. You can also find the best steak side dishes in the city here! I can only recommend mash potatoes, curry vegetables, normal fries and spinach. The Lava Cake is definitely recommended as dessert. Price: It's not cheap but you get something for your money and the quality is right. Conclusion: Would go again and again

After I last visited the Ivory Club a few years ago and was very satisfied at the time, I was looking forward to visiting at the weekend. We really liked the valet service as Frankfurt is definitely a challenging place to find a parking space. Despite the fact that we had reserved a table, we were kept waiting in the entrance area for a relatively long time. The food also took a long time to be brought to the table. As was the case back then, it tasted very good. However, in my opinion the price-performance ratio is not appropriate and after the main course you are only served very sporadically.

Really a very very good restaurant! Starting with the great concierge service, which allows you to drive directly to the entrance and enjoy your visit to the restaurant without having to spend a long time looking for a parking space. Continuing with the service, including cloakroom service, was really to be praised. Very friendly staff at the table!!! The food was really very tasty! I hope you can see the enjoyment through the pictures. The food was very well seasoned, it simply tasted great and is a real recommendation in Frankfurt! I will definitely visit the restaurant again! And when I think about it, I start drooling again. Super successful evening and one of the best restaurants I've ever been to!!!!

You can go here for the ambience and the exceptional service. Recommended to go for special occasions as it is an upscale restaurant. What about the food? As an Indian, I have to be honest, it is just okay. May be for the European appetite! The spicy and crispy ginger prawns (appetizer) is a must try - it is finger licking good! The rest of it (chicken tandoori and Jalfrezi is just okay). One thing I didn’t like is the cabbage!! Who the hell puts cabbage in a curry, that too in Chicken. This is something I see quite a lot in Frankfurt. To the Europeans, if you eat cabbage in any curry, it is not Indian - we don’t do that!! So will I come here? May be for the ambience, for special occasions if I really want to impress someone. Will I come here for the food? As an Indian - no way!!!

We had exceptional service in an exceptional establishment. What made it even better was the very professional, friendly and attentive service and care we received from Danny. We travel through Frankfurt every year. I look forward to our next visit.

Food was OK. Indian food is tailored to western tastes and involves a lot of artificial food. Valet for the car was also very friendly. Service at the table was OK, friendly but not really present. 1:15 hours waiting time for the main course. Well, it's faster. This was my third visit. 2 x lunchtimes and once on weekend evenings. What doesn't work is the lady at reception with short hair and an oversized blazer. On all 3 visits she made a very bad impression and was simply rude for no reason. It's a shame about the other employees, who were actually quite friendly and accommodating. I would be happy to tell my colleague in detail to her face during her next visit.

A treasure of a place with excellent food and amazing service. Our waitress, Danni was helpful, attentive and extremely polite and friendly . My lamb shank was tasty and cooked to perfection. Our starters were unusual but really tasty tacos. The papadams were thin crispy and tasted fresh and so good. My nan was cooked just the way I like it, soft, no butter and no burnt crispy bits. Been there many times, but definitely the last time! As you can see from other reviews here, the boss of the Mook Group and the restaurant management are not interested in criticism, but I would still like to express it. Starting with the prices, they have always been really high, they used to be adequate in terms of quality and service, but now it's no longer appropriate and what's more, as part of the VAT adjustment in the catering industry, a flat rate of €10 has been added to all steaks and all other prices also adjusted. That's really bold and has been solved better by other restaurateurs. In addition, the way we deal with customers is really no longer okay. Famous people from the milieu are greeted with a handshake and a hug and are immediately given a table without waiting and without a reservation, while you stand stupidly aside WITH a reservation and easily stand and wait in the small entrance area for 20 minutes without drinks and without an apology. The store is still always packed (I wonder why), which is also noticeable in the poor service. You wait... for the menu, for drinks, for the waiter to order, for the waiter to re-order... Of course only if you don't have a good relationship with the restaurant management, because then everything works. And unfortunately it's not any better if the bill is 600 euros or more. You're just another guest there. About the ambience: Dark (you can hardly read the menu without a cell phone light or table lamp), loud and cramped (clear, more tables, more sales). The music is sometimes super unpleasant modern and loud (and I'm not old). Difficult to park in the area. Valet service available, of course they also want money. The toilet is in the basement and is shared with Zenzakan guests. Also dark and recently there is a toilet attendant sitting in front of the entrance. 🤦🏼‍♀️Why? Basically the quality of the food is very good, but it's still just out of proportion. By the way, we don't know this in other restaurants in the Mook Group. You will only be treated like this in the Ivory Club. Unfortunately. Maybe Mr. Mook will read this review and think about a thing or two. Otherwise, I hope that potential guests can take advantage of this honest review.

After a long time we visited the Ivory Club again for dinner with friends. As usual, the food, drinks and service were first class, and the ambience was just as we remembered it. The Ivory Club was once again the perfect and exceptional location for the start of a beautiful evening in downtown Frankfurt. We would be happy to come back and give our unreserved recommendation.

Food is as usual great but service was really below average. We sat over 20 minutes and had to asked the manager to be served drinks. Waiters did not even care to offer water… menu also only came upon request. For such a pricey place - this is below expectation

I went there on a business dinner and had a great time with colleagues. However I began to order and let them know about my allergies. The waiter stated if I had an allergy then this is the wrong place to come. Which just made my experience go to 0. They were not accommodating to any allergy and it seemed like I was more of a bother to the waiter. The waiter suggested something I could have only to come back 30 minutes later that it had the allergy that I was allergic to. The only saving grace here is the delicious food my colleagues had and atmosphere.

Im Ivory Club in Frankfurt erlebten wir eine exotische Fusion zwischen kolonialem Ambiente und kulinarischer Kreativität. Die dunklen Räume verleihen dem Ort eine geheimnisvolle Atmosphäre, die perfekt zum Konzept passt. Die Karte überrascht mit einer gelungenen Mischung aus indischer Raffinesse und klassischer Steakhaus-Tradition. Hier wird der Gaumen auf eine kulinarische Weltreise geschickt. Der Service begeisterte mit Freundlichkeit und Aufmerksamkeit, während die Speisen mit exzellenter Qualität und köstlichem Geschmack überzeugten. Wenn auch eher im oberen Preissegment angesiedelt, stimmt die Preis-Leistung im Ivory Club definitiv. Ein Besuch hier ist nicht nur ein Dinner, sondern ein kulinarisches Abenteuer in einem einzigartigen Ambiente!

Ohne vorherige Reservierung sollte man am Abend dort nicht erscheinen. Valet Parking funktioniert gut und die Garderobe wird am Eingang persönlich gegen Marke aufbewahrt. Beim letzten Besuch war das Restaurant sehr voll und die Lautstärke grenzwertig, was Tischgespräche außer mit dem direkten Nachbarn nahezu unmöglich machte. Das Ambiente in kolonial- indischem Stil wirkt sehr gediegen. Unzählige schwarzweiß Bilder an der Wand von Maharadschas, dunkles Holz, riesige Vasen und Pfauen versetzen Dich sofort nach Indien. Das Essen ist schmackhaft und wird in diversen Metallschüsselchen serviert. Aber auch die Steaks waren auf den Punkt zubereitet; die Qualität stimmt, wenn sie auch nicht unbedingt Spitze war.

Wow - was für eine Location, was für ein Essen! Wir waren zu einem Business Dinner hier und jeder war begeistert. Die Atmosphäre ist richtig gut und jede Speise ein Gedicht. Sehr zu empfehlen!

One of the best dining experiences that Frankfurt has to offer. This India-inspired restaurant offers excellent and not commonly found Indian dishes, as well as some of the best steaks Frankfurt has to offer. It is pricey but well worth the money. The staff is friendly and experienced, which one can’t take for granted in restaurants anymore.
