We like eating here. It's delicious and reasonably priced. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

The food tasted like warmed-up cardboard. The portions were tiny, and the service was terrible. I would never set foot there again.

I've had several ads in my mailbox despite the clear "no ads" label. The store is now trying to have my review deleted for "defamation" – next level unprofessional...

Extremely disappointing! The food was of very poor quality – completely unseasoned, tasteless, and served in tiny portions. Considering the prices charged here, this is an absolute disgrace. The service was disrespectful, unfriendly, and showed no interest in providing guests with a pleasant experience. You don't feel welcome or taken seriously here. The value for money is abysmal: small portions, bad food, and a tone that is anything but professional. In a city like Frankfurt, there are many good restaurants – this one is definitely not one of them. Once and never again!

A very good Indian restaurant in Frankfurt-Niederrad. The food is excellent and authentic. The decor is very cozy and inviting. The staff is very attentive.

My family and I had the pleasure of dining at this wonderful Indian Punjabi restaurant on both Tuesday and Wednesday, and it was an absolute delight! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm hospitality and a welcoming atmosphere that instantly made us feel at home. We ordered the thali on both days, and it exceeded all our expectations. Each thali was a feast for the senses – beautifully presented and full of rich, authentic flavors. The variety of dishes offered a perfect balance of spices, textures, and traditional taste. From creamy dal to perfectly spiced sabzi, every bite reminded us of the warmth of home-cooked Punjabi food. The freshly made rotis and fragrant rice tied it all together wonderfully. The staff were friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed without being overbearing. It’s clear they take pride in their food and service. Dining here was a highlight of our week, and we’ll definitely be coming back again soon. Highly recommended for anyone craving delicious, hearty Punjabi cuisine in a welcoming setting!

Estábamos alojados en el hotel Crowne y realmente hay muy pocas opciones en esa zona para cenar, de comida local ni hablamos. Decidimos probar en este local que nos quedaba al lado del hotel. La ambientación esta acorde a la temática. La dificultad estuvo en la elección de los platos,debo reconocer la buena voluntad de quien nos atendió. Básicamente los platos son arroz con diferentes salsas, muy bien presentados y muy gustosos. Lo que no me agrado fue el apuro por retirarnos los platos.

Completely inadequate value for money, sticky menus, some frozen vegetables, edible but tasteless, sober ambiance, so-so friendliness of the staff, sometimes laughed at when ordering normally... We won't be back. I can't recommend it.

Good curry. I visited it two times during a one-week business trip.

Service - they took about 50 mins to serve . Attitude - they push you to order more by claiming that the portion you order will be insufficient . Not a great experience because of the above two aspects , though the food quality was good .

One of the worst service from restaurant I have ever experienced!!! The owner instead of welcoming, asks how long you will take to eat even though she has 2 hours to closing time!! And she is forcing me to pay in cash instead of card payment. When I refused to pay cash she started acting very rude!! I don’t recommend to anyone

Lovely Chicken Tikka Madras with garlic naan and the butter rice. All delicious, as was the madras pappadom.

Wir hatten um 12 Uhr einen Tisch reserviert und mussten gut über eine Stunde auf unser Essen warten. Das Restaurant war nicht komplett voll- info gab es nicht wirklich. Dafür war aber das Essen sehr gut! Das Restaurant liegt umgegeben von vielen Firmen und mal schnell zu Mittag dort hin ist leider nicht möglich.

I order it for delivery and it was one of the worst Indian food I ever tasted. The curry was plain tomato sauce with some chicken chunks in it. I literally couldn’t eat it and threw everything away! I don’t know how they got this rating from.

Me and my girlfriend went on a Monday evening for dinner. The waiters were really friendly and the restaurant was well decorated. We had butter masala chicken, korma chicken, normaal naan and garlic naan. It was delicious. If you are traveling and pass through Frankfurt and you want some good tasty food I really recommend this place.

We were asked very wierd questions .. would you like a plate? after the biryani was served! In silence they just wanted us to order more and more food. Questions that make us feel uncomfortable! Especially when you are trying a restaurant for the first time you would want to taste a dish and then decide . The chicken biryani had turmeric aroma. It felt like they have a target to be filled per table and if you don't fit in that target they would all ask such uncomfortable questions

Tandoori taste indian restaurant at Frankfurt. The food served was of very very low quality. All the dishes served (veg and non veg) were of poor taste. Service was extremely poor and the management was very rude their attitude was bad we where a group of friends who went to dine in.

Spontaneous visit just before lunch break. The service was very nice and courteous even though the kitchen had only been open for 20 minutes. Chicken Tikka Masala at its best. Perfectly seasoned for the German palate. Not too spicy, not too bland. Rarely have such tender chicken been eaten. Best naan bread with it. Super delicious! We'll come back, or order and have it delivered to us.🫶

No good food, restaurant is not clean.

Extremely slow service (took more than 40 mins to bring Mix Naan basket and paneer masala) despite it was just 2 of us in the whole restaurant. Mix naan basket would hardly be equal to 2 full Naan but it’s charged a whopping 11.5€ which is just not acceptable. Food was just ok but very small portions - price again not justified. Not recommended.

We ordered 3 curries, 2 non-veg and 1 veg all of them taste the same. Also the taste was like the curry is made up with ketchup. In addition the restaurant person forced us to order more food and also drinks even after we said no. We could not the eat the food at all as it was so tasteless.

I think the restaurant is really good, my recommendation is Chicken Biryani!! No matter whether you like something spicy or less spicy, they adapt it perfectly to you!! Very tasty food!! And sitting there in the restaurant and eating is also wonderful. Great view from the window. Very, very beautifully culturally designed!! The owners are also super friendly and not only did I order food to be delivered to my home or eaten there, but I also booked catering for a funeral and they arrived in perfect time and the food was great and delicious! ! They even adapted their yogurt sauce to my personal wishes. Price performance is really very, very good and highly recommended!! Gladly again and again!

First time in Frankfurt from NY and we were SO Glad we tried Tandoori Taste! The malai kofta, chicken Tikka Kandari, fish madras, lamb curry, and garlic naan were AMAZING. The service was prompt and the staff was extremely attentive. Had a great time, will be stopping by again when I'm back! (Personal favorite- Chicken Tikka Kandari!)

Apareció en una visita ad hoc y parecía que el restaurante estaba un poco más ocupado de lo que suelen estar y el personal parecía desafiado a tratar con los pedidos. Dicho esto, eran muy agradables e indicaron que tendríamos que esperar, que estaba bien. Pero cuando llegó la comida fue horrible. Bhajis de cebolla secos, biryani de pollo seco y arroz como balas de goma. Odio dar malas críticas y aunque no era caro la calidad de la comida y la presentación estaba entre los peores que he tenido. AVOID.

We had a great time at Tandoori Taste Indian Restaurant. The food, atmosphere and service was excellent. We had Samosa, Pakore and different chutneys as starters. All of them were delicious. For the main we had daal, shahi paneer, aloo gobi, chicken curry, naan, rice and mixed raita. Everything was delicious and we highly recommend this restaurant. It's a must visit.

El arroz estaba completamente seco y sin especias. Precio muy alto por una muy mala calidad. 19 euros para el tandoori, cuatro trozos de pollo y arroz seco sin ensalada. Y luego el postre, 20 euros más del precio de la comida para 2 pequeños cachorros de plástico con zanahoria insípida y 2 piezas de gamón gulab? El sabor era tan malo. Nunca más volveré aquí.

Zero star. The owner and his wife both claim to be the owner of the restaurant. They are both arrogant and totally rude to the customers. We a group of 32 tourists went for dinner today. We returned back without food, though money was paid for the food in advance because of their misbehaviour. Tourists and the tour organisers are sincerely requested not to avail foodstuffs from the restaurant. They should be taught a strong lesson.

The owner is a Punjabi and a notorious person. We came from Kolkata. The dinner was pre-booked but this restaurant's owner behaviour was rude and uttered bad languages. We have aged persons with us and that Punjabi man denied to serve food without any issue. I am surprised to see that he told us to left the premises. We all know that generally Punjabi people are good in behaviour but this notorious man is abusing all Punjabi Community. So please don't go to this restaurant.

We always order the same thing here. Chana Masala and Dal Makhani. Food is always excellent. Unfortunately today the chana masala tasted too much like chili and some of the chickpeas were hard. After consulting with the boss, the food was exchanged without hesitation. We still order here! For me the best Dal Makhani. Delivery and complaint were flawless and the boss is very nice, contrary to the opinions here. Can't understand the bad reviews, we are always satisfied. We will order again :-)

We were working at the Crowne Plaza and after a long day this was a great way to end it. The food was very nice and all my Indian colleagues were equally impressed with the quality, especially after having bad experiences with Indian food in Germany in the past. If you're in the area and new some good Indian food, this is a great option :) Best wishes!

チキンカレーとエビカレーを注文して持ち帰りしました。味は両方とも美味しかったです。ドイツサイズでボリューム満点。クラウンプラザホテルと同一敷地内にあるので、クラウンプラザに宿泊する際はこのレストランは便利です。

Einzigartiger Geschmack dort. Seitdem wir hier wohnen, gehen wir regelmäßig dahin essen und sind jedesmal aufs Neue vom Geschmack dort überwältigt. Ich kann es nur weiterempfehlen dort mal hinzugehen, und es auszuprobieren es wird sich lohnen das kann ich aus Erfahrung sagen.

Essen war sehr lecker, leider wird seit der Pandemie kein Buffet angeboten, schade

Hier bekommt man auch ein schönes Lachsschnitzel mit Pommes, Zwiebeln und Salat, wenn man das indische Essen nicht kennt oder mag. Der Inhaber ist total nett und flexibel.

You can eat in and get take away which is very convinient. Spacious place which is great. Price range ok for area. Would come back again.

Das beste indische Restaurant, das ich kenne. Besonders hat mir das Chilli Tikka gefallen. Kann ich nur weiterempfehlen. Ich kann es kaum erwarten, wieder in Frankfurt zu sein, um diese Köstlichkeiten zu verspeisen. Wäre die Portion nur ein wenig größer, wäre es echt perfekt. Aber definitiv ausreichend für den normalen Hunger.

Das Malai Kofta war genial und auch sonst hatten wir eine tolle Zeit. Die Mitarbeiter waren super nett. 😊

The food was amazing honestly although I did notice some of the rice was a bit hard and there was a strange tinge to the chicken but nevertheless it still tasted amazing! Although the price is a bit high in my opinion the food was worth it it stuffed us full the naan bread is a great price for what we got so I definitely recommend that the atmosphere was kind of dull with some music playing in the background and the restaurant was kinda empty the staff were amazing and were happy to help us, If you're looking for food around the area I would recommend this place

Essen war gut. Und obwohl mein Gericht (F15) das zweitschärfste sein sollte, empfand ich es nicht als zu scharf. Was ich gut finde: dir Gerichte sind nach Schärfe sortiert. F1 ist Mild und F16 ist scharf. 👍🏻

Whenever we stay near the Frankfurt airport, we look forward with anticipated joy to eat at Tandoori Taste. This time we went in a group of four. Each of us ate different dishes, which were all excellent. We’ll of course come back!

Es war kein schöner Besuch….. Die Begrüßung wenig herzlich sodass man sich nicht willkommen fühlte (obwohl das Restaurant bis auf einen Tisch leer war)… Die Vorspeisen angesichts des dafür berechneten Preises eine reine Frechheit (qualitativ und vor allem auch quantitativ)… Die Hauptgerichte insgesamt ok, aber auch nichts Besonderes (das hat man woanders alles schon besser bekommen) Und all das noch nicht mal günstig. Danke - nicht wieder…….

Staying at the neighboring Crowne Plaza hotel, the location is convenient and the food acceptable. Though it appeared that they had only two or three people staffing the place, it didn't take too long to get my order.

Komplett frisch zubereitet, sehr netter Service, gute Auswahl. Man bekommt Erklärungen auf Fragen zum Gericht und kann eindeutig auch Schärfegrade in der Speisekarte erkennen. Sauber und ordentlich!

Restaurant war Corona bedingt leer bis auf ein Pärchen, von daher schneller und aufmerksamer Service. Hühnersuppe vorweg, hat kein besonderes Erlebnis erzeugt. Danach Lammcurry in Minze, schon besser. Lecker und der Reis war ebenfalls gut zubereitet.

Habe mir auf der Geschäftsreise ein Abendessen ins Motel One liefern lassen. Sehr leckeres Essen und wirklich freundlicher Services. Findet man nicht alle Tage!

Direkt am Crowne Plaza Frankfurt, aber auch gut mit der Bahn zu erreichen (direkt an der S-Bahn). Das Essen ist sehr gut und nur zu empfehlen!

We have had an excellent Samosa as appetizer, with an excellent mango lassi, which I asked to be served with less sugar. These were followed by one of the best chopped eggplants ever and a coriander paneer, which was mainly cheese in tomato sauce with a little coriander. This excellent restaurant has above all an excellent service. They even called me back in order to make certain I planned to come when they are really open. Witty and kind guy serving - all what you should have in a restaurant, but rarely receive. The dining room is big or you can eat in the large garden.

Wir haben erstmals dort etwas zu Essen bestellt und waren rundum zufrieden. Schon die telefonische Bestellung verlief reibungslos (ist ja auf Grund Sprachlicher Barrieren nicht immer der Fall...) und die mit 40 Minuten avisierte Lieferung wurde sogar unterboten. Die drei bestellten Gerichte plus Chapatis haben uns wirklich gut geschmeckt. Als Ur-Frankfurter maßen wir uns nicht an, zu beurteilen, ob ein indisches Gericht „authentisch“ ist, aber wir erdreisten uns, zu sagen, dass wir selten bessere indische Speisen geliefert bekamen. Wir werden das Lokal gelegentlich persönlich aufsuchen.
