Really liked it here! Service was really friendly and the food was great! Never had Indian food before so I can’t say how authentic it was but still tasted really good (Chicken Tikka Tidka)

Very tasty Indian food with very friendly and attentive service right in the heart of Frankfurt. The food (Chicken Biryani) also came very quickly. I was particularly impressed by the Ramadan Iftar Special. There is a pleasant atmosphere due to the Delhi flair. For the sake of completeness: Even if the restaurant declares the Ramadan Special to be halal, strictly speaking the restaurant is not halal because alcohol is sold.

Ordered through Wolt for the first time and we were thrilled! One of the best tikka masala we've had so far! The spiciness was bearable, especially for me. Won't be the last time.

Quite a good shop. You can definitely go there! Even if the dishes could perhaps be a little more seasoned and a little less “Germanized”. Still delicious, really! I think the name of the restaurant “Eat Doori” is brilliant! My best friend's name is Dori, so... But I digress! Solid shop, although with room for improvement.

La comida es cara, no muy especial y las porciones son pequeñas. y lo peor es que si publicas una crítica negativa en Google, el propietario se quejará y hará que Google elimine esa queja por "irrelevancia" o amenazará con acciones legales. Solo por eso, no puedo recomendarlo, y sería súper dudoso sobre las críticas positivas en Google y tomarme eso con un GRAN grano de sal.

Top staff Top service Really big portions and I think it's the BEST INDIAN ever in Frankfurt!

We went here at 6:15pm on a Saturday, without a reservation and asked for a table for two. First the service person asked in German whether we would manage to be ready by 7 p.m., then she could give us a table. I find this question difficult to answer because the time that takes up the most time is the waiting time for food. We still agreed and took a seat. From that point on she only spoke English to us, although we continued to respond in German (that was strange). The food came to the table at 6:42 p.m. We quickly confessed to eating. But employees kept coming to our table and asking if it was tasty or if we needed anything else. This is certainly very polite and tried hard (the first and maybe second time - but they came 6 times (!) in 10 minutes (!). What was that? I found this very rushed because it was almost 7 p.m. However, there were still numerous other tables available and no one was standing at the door waiting for our table. So I found this very unnecessary and I didn't feel welcome. The food was very, very tasty. It could have been a little more rice. Here is a recommendation. But looking back, I would have preferred to eat somewhere else than have to shovel my dinner here in 10 to 15 minutes while being reminded every 2 minutes that I have to hurry up. And while my wallet and cell phone were still on the table when I left on time, the service started cleaning the table. Overall, the behavior smacked of being “pushed out.” Finished eating - shoo shoo... Maybe a series of unfortunate coincidences, but for me that's no longer the case. The food is a 4.8 out of 5. Keep it up!

The lady in the restaurant found it the best, the food was rather so-so. For example, my rice was simply cold, but my chicken was super hot. Bread was 10/10, desi send was 10/10 Found the curry, but a bit weak.

Excellent food, amazing service. Location is great for the local fairs. The buzz and decor of this place is fantastic! The interior of the place is fun! Toilets are clean and a little quirky!

Eating at this place is always a great experience with great hospitality ,good quality food and fair pricing. I don't miss the Indian food outside India. It really is well prepared with good quality of flavors. It is a must place for Indian food lovers with great bar. I would not say that it is a hidden gem for Indian food lovers in frankfurt, but it is well known gem as most of the time I visit it is more than full. And most of the customers are regular ones. It is recommended to have booking advance.

Food was okay, but not outstanding. Yogurt and dessert had a slight refrigerator flavor. Unfortunately service was nothing this time. After ordering, we weren't sure whether he understood us because the gentleman kept switching to English. Food came without drinks, the drinks only came after we asked again, even though the man behind the bar was obviously bored. Dessert came shortly after the drinks while we were still eating and was warm. The espresso we ordered for dessert didn't come at all. We didn't have the time or desire to wait any longer... Otherwise we would have gotten it to go... At least the whole thing was friendly and they apologized, hence 3 stars. Ambiance: We as real estate professionals may see more than the average person, but veneers with lots of holes look nice, but require a lot of cleaning. So you sit at the table against this wall and hope the dust and cobwebs stay where they are. The tables are conveniently arranged. The tubular room is relatively well divided, but it's no longer enough for 4 stars after deducting the wool mice.

After a long time, i witnessed a place where obvious is not asked and served without asking. No sho sha no poking for drinks or unecessary stuff, just a good place filled with warm hearted people serving some good food. Sandeep managed the place pretty well and humbly enough and a big shout out to the owners and employees who just not display humaara dhaaba aapka ghar( my restaurant your home) but they actually mean it. Food wad good but service was pretty quick and amazing. Cheers to the great place, keep vibing and wish you all the best

It is utterly sad to witness such a disgraceful and deliberate misrepresentation of Indian cuisine. My father, an ex-chef who has proudly represented Indian culinary heritage for over 30 years, unfortunately visited this place by mistake without my knowledge. To his shock, he discovered that messed-up Indian dishes are being shamelessly marketed as "authentic Indian food" This is not just a lie—it is an insult to the rich and diverse traditions of Indian cooking. According to my father - owners or founders have absolutely no genuine connection to or understanding of Indian cuisine. Their lack of experience is glaring, and they are blatantly exploiting their location, relying on cheap emotional tactics like plastering Indian imagery on the walls to fool unsuspecting customers. Such disrespect and Indian imagery on the walls cannot and should not be tolerated. This restaurant is a disgrace to the idea of authenticity. Anyone looking for real Indian food should avoid this place at all costs.

Nice place to try Indian dishes! - that's the most simplest review to write about this place. There are so many places in Frankfurt to try "Indian food" but what's so special about this place? Firstly, the ambience is really good, very clean and well maintained. The toilets are neat and clean. Next, the service - very kind and prompt service (at least the person who came to serve us was really kind and sweet). Not like some places where they take the order, serve the food and come back for the bill - nothing like this. They made sure the food was alright for us and if there was anything more to add from our side, etc. Finally, the food - where do I begin?! After trying all the "famous" Indian restaurants (kinda fed up) in and around Frankfurt, we wanted to try something "different" from the usual but "Indian" and thus came the option of "trying" at eatDOORI. It was not disappointing at all, infact really appreciate the taste. We were having problems with very "Spicy Indian food" and the aftermath of "acidity" and excessive burping of all the spices that was in the food (which is actually NOT AT ALL GOOD!). We ordered Desi Chicken and Samosas for starters, Chicken Tikka Tadka for main course which came along with Basmati rice and for drinks - homemade Nimbu Pani and Mango Lassi. The star of the show was the "Achar" that was complimentary, along with the food. The best part was even though it is all Indian food, nothing was very hot or too much spicy. Now, clearing out 'hot' and 'spicy' - hot means the spice factor and spicy means the amount of different kinds/types of Indian spices used in preparing the dish. It is NOT the literal meaning of hot = blazing/flaming/sizzling and spicy = peppery/chillie. Most of the Indian restaurants have too much usage of Indian spices and this makes the dish mostly piquant (which is good, in a way) and this eventually causes acidity (not so good!) and this is exactly where there was a distinguishing difference with eatDOORI and other restaurants. Coming to the food that we ordered, 1. Desi chicken was tender and juicy. Very crispy outer coating, very moist and soft meat and it had the real flavour and the original taste of "Chicken 65" which is the actual description given for the dish. 2. Samosas - the usual samosa. I'm not sure if it's made in real time but it tasted very fresh and nothing of a "pre-cooked" or "ready-made" samosa (which is the case in most other restaurants). I had added "Chat it up" which was an option. It's another version of the Indian "Samosa chat" which was indeed very tasty and almost authentic but not very spicy (it was just perfect!). Worth the try and the chat option was just perfect! 3. Chicken Tikka Tadka - this was good. A semi-gravy with soft chicken bites mixed in an Indian gravy with some onions. It was the usual but not too spicy and equally tasty. 4. Mango lassi was the usual but Nimbu Pani was good. It was soda but had a good taste of real lemonade/lime juice but Indian version. This place is "apt" for Germans to try. Very promising place that our taste buds will enjoy and love it. Equally good for people like me (Indian, but can't tolerate too much spice and heat!). I will definitely try this place, the next time I come here to Frankfurt. Infact, we've been here once long back (probably 3 years ago!) but this time hit different. There's takeaway and delivery available. Brunch, lunch and dinner options are available. Prices are very nominal and decent. Parking, sometimes difficult to find a place to park but free of charge to park in street.

Nachdem ich im September schon mit indischen Freunden im EatDoori war, habe ich gestern meine monatliche "Kumpelrunde" zu einem Besuch animiert: Wieder war der Empfang sehr freundlich, man fühlt sich als Gast sehr willkommen! Die entspannte Atmosphäre überzeugt mich immer noch, nicht das übliche Einerlei mit goldenen Elefanten, viel rotem Holz und Stuck, sondern modernes Streetfood-Ambiente. Alles sehr sauber und gepflegt. Der Service ist klasse: Freundlich und aufmerksam und authentisch, ich fühle mich wohl dabei. Die Bedienungen scheinen tatsächlich alle Inder zu sein (oder was wir Europäer dafür halten). Sehr nett, sehr offen, klasse! Das Essen ist toll: Wir haben uns auf Empfehlungen verlassen und uns erst "blind" einige Vorspeisen servieren lassen, danach auf gleiche Weise Hauptspeisen nach Wahl des Hauses. Das ist für mich immer wieder eine gute Idee, da man Gerichte isst, die man sonst vielleicht nicht bestellt hätte. Das dabei völlig neue Geschmäcker entdeckt werden, ist selbstverständlich und macht den Reiz für mich aus. Dazu gab es freundliche Erläuterungen, was serviert wurde - kleine Reise durch Indien! Abschließend kleines, feine Dessert geteilt! Wirklich eine tolle Empfehlung im Frankfurter Bahnhofsviertel, wo man die Art (und Qualität) vielleicht gar nicht erwartet. Praktisch und schnell vom Bahnhof oder Taunusanlage zu erreichen, optimal für die Anreise (und vor allem auch den Rückweg) mit der Bahn. Denn, was man auch nicht erwarten mag: Es gibt hervorragenden Wein! Bald wieder!!

A real surprise in the Bahnhofsviertel: Great Indian restaurant, completely different than usual... We were here with Indian friends and were very impressed: You really expect everything possible in the station district - but that was a surprise: A very friendly, beautifully decorated restaurant - street food style at the front, restaurant at the back, depending on your wishes. First impression: Everything was very clean and in very good condition. Second impression: Extremely friendly staff, very polite and helpful. Third impression: The longer I sat looking into the restaurant, the more I felt drawn into the friendly atmosphere. Completely different from the Indian restaurant around the corner in our small town - no stuffiness and tradition, but a good mix of modern and cozy, maybe that's how it is in India? Food: I'm not an expert on Indian cuisine and I just let our friends surprise me. We had a good cross-section of everything that was and is - and it was just great. Lots of vegetarian, little meat, an incredible amount of different flavors and everything beautifully presented. The friends told us that these are not just traditional Indian dishes, but also modern interpretations and crossovers, such as "Indo-Asian". We really liked it, tasted good and left great impressions, I fondly remember the many tastes... We were thrilled and will be back very soon, real recommendation in Frankfurt!

We stopped by for a quick meal on our way from the airport before catching our next train. Due to delays at the airport, we had very little time to eat. We called ahead and pre-ordered dal makhani, chicken tikka tadka, and butter naans. The dal makhani was excellent, and the service was equally impressive. They accommodated our timing needs and prepared everything promptly so we could make it to our train. We’ll definitely be back next time, hopefully with more time to enjoy the experience.

Food was average (not that good but not that bad either). We ordered aaloo baigan, chicken tikka, dal tadka and vada pav. All of these things were average including vadapav. Service was really food and staffs are really friendly.

We ordered over 100 Euros food for 6 Personnes. It came more than an hour late and was horrible. The worst indian food I have eaten. The Naans are like Schewing gum, the samosas were hidden under some kind of sauce. They should be ashame to take money for this

Last time, We went to eatdoori before( inside zeil )which was with excellent Punjabi dishes for reasonable prices. This time, We went for dinner at around 9.15 pm to eatdoori which is near H'bahnof with Restaurant is not very crowded, may be 40% occupied or lesser. We were welcomed warmly but no one arrived to take the order for atleast 20 mins which was annoying. And, we ordered desi chicken, Holy paneer (labeled as signature dish) and a butter naan. Once ordered, the service is super fast. The restaurant ambience is good, staff is kind. But the desi chicken tasted utter tasteless, it's saltless chicken pakoda with lot of besan. Fried ! Holy paneer is also not very great , it's ok ok. Paneer is soft, no quality issues. It's bad if we go with an expectation of a Punjabi restaurant! May be, my choice of dishes was wrong, but holy paneer could be atleast a bit Indian ! It felt like - the Indian dishes, especially the starters are made keeping German crowd in mind, which ruined the expectation & experience. But the branch inside zeil was really worth trying. If you want to pacify your Indian food cravings, Go to this restaurant only if other Indian restaurants in the same lane are closed, or else go to Eatdoori-Zeil

There is something different here than the typical standard Indian food. Even though there is definitely no "naanwich" in India, the food was very good. Unfortunately it was a bit too much sauce and for untrained Germans it was quite spicy. The cocktails were delicious. The service was very friendly. It wasn't so kitschy, but rather simple, so that the ambience absolutely fits the memory card. The toilet was clean and they had thought of something nice about the furnishings. I'd love to come back and try out more of the memory card.

Indian food at a fair price. Here in Frankfurt's Bahnhofsviertel, the restaurant chain focuses on business guests who appreciate fast service and good food.

Wir waren mit indischen Freunden hier und waren sehr beeindruckt: Man erwartet im Bahnhofsviertel wirklich alles mögliche - aber das war dann doch überraschend. Ein sehr freundliches, schön eingerichtetes Lokal - vorne Streetfood-Style, hinten Restaurant, je nach Wunsch. Erster Eindruck: Alles war sehr sauber und in sehr gutem Zustand. Zweiter Eindruck: Ausgesprochen freundliches Personal, sehr höflich und hilfsbereit. Dritter Eindruck: Je länger ich, mit Blick in das Restaurant, gesessen hatte, desto mehr habe ich mich in die sympathische Atmosphäre hineingezogen gefühlt. Ganz anders als beim Inder um die Ecke bei uns in der Kleinstadt - kein Muff und Tradition, sondern eine gute Mischung aus modern und gemütlich, vielleicht ist es in Indien so? Essen: Ich bin kein Kenner der indischen Küche und habe mich einfach von unseren Freunden überraschen lassen. Wir hatten einen guten Querschnitt durch alles, was es gab und gibt - und es war einfach toll. Viel vegetarisch, wenig Fleisch, unglaublich viel verschiedene Geschmäcker und alles sehr schön angerichtet. Die Freunde sagten uns, dass es sich hier nicht nur um traditionelle indische Gerichte handelt, sondern auch um moderne Interpretationen und Crossovers, so z.B. "Indo-Asian". Uns hat es sehr gut gefallen, gut geschmeckt und tolle Eindrücke hinterlassen, ich erinnere mich gerne an die vielen Geschmäcker... Wir waren begeistert und werden sehr bald wiederkommen, echte Empfehlung in Frankfurt!

A very good Indian restaurant with traditional dishes that are not available everywhere. This restaurant is my favorite place when I'm in Frankfurt. Highly recommended.

Good atmosphere for bad desi food. I am sure lot westerners will like this place but experience was that of an expensive raita because that’s the only food that was good. Rest of the items in the afternoon menu was non-existent and bad. It was a chicken pepper fry thali but there was neither pepper nor fry.. we got a gravy chicken of something and the rice was not cooked. The naan was half cooked. Taste of the curries were so so. Definitely a place to miss for any desi but great place for a westerner who wants Indian food.

I went there craving for chat. Had their samosa chaat.. not at all good! But their service is great!

Our favourite place since it was opened! If you are looking for a place to have Indian street food and enjoy your evening with friends or family then you must visit this place! There Daal Makhani must be ordered with Garlic Naan! Very friendly and modern environment. No wonder their concept is great and successful as meanwhile they have several EatDoori restaurants.

I am a big fan of Indian curries and Biryani, but  the food was dry and not cooked properly  the biryani had too many fried onions, and the  chicken was very dry. Raita was very delicious so was chicken makhani. The food is mediocre for the price, but the staff was very nice,attentive and helpful. The restaurant has a pleasant ambience.

Yesterday I was in this restaurant with my sister - we are Indian - and we wanted to eat. The gentleman in the turban seated us at a table at the back of the kitchen. There were about 3 tables occupied. We waited over 30 minutes for our order to be taken, but the waiter kept walking past our table or standing behind the counter even though we made it clear several times that we finally wanted to order. He just looks at us provocatively and ignores us. We decided to leave the restaurant and he looked at us and seemed pleased. Maybe he thought in a box and was too nice to serve us, you don't need such low-class behavior in Germany!!! This snooty manner is trustworthy and who knows what they would have done to the food in the kitchen if we had continued to tolerate this discrimination.

Traditional North Indian cuisine with a contemporary twist. We stumbled upon this restaurant based on excellent reviews and proximity to our hotel in Frankfurt downtown. We are so glad that we found it. Everything we tried reminded us of hearty home cooked meals with the perfect taste of aromatic tadka. The service was prompt and courteous. We will be back soon.

I was here for dinner and sat outside. The order went quickly, the food (Korma Chicken) was a good portion, but quite bland. The chairs outside are simple wooden chairs or benches that do not invite you to linger. But that's the case throughout the entire district, the motto is quick in and quick out. After eating I had to wait quite a long time for payment.

As always, very tasty food, very courteous service and a great ambience

An Indian in the train station district. Service very friendly and accommodating. Food was OK but not great. Prices are rather high for the simple tables and chairs. There are more authentic Indians in Frankfurt, a little further inland.
