Not exactly particularly friendly service, prices rather high for a pub. Rooms are okay, but not outstanding either. This pub, which supposedly wants to be somehow Irish, is really not cult, there are actually better, real Irish pubs in the city, but it's not bad either. Rather mediocre. This is how it comes across despite all the bells and whistles that the operators have come up with.

Everything just fits together in this restaurant. Food, staff and ambience are top. Now I understand why it's always full. The burgers are juicy, the Calslow tastes fresh and the fries are crispy on the outside and nice and soft on the inside.

Mega MacNCheese, were told to please be quieter. We found it strange in a pub.

I've been a regular at the Harp for years - no lie - and I don't know of a nicer pub with better food or more friendly staff. The atmosphere is always very familiar and pleasant, the food is consistently great and, especially thanks to the Ehrenburgers, still varied (if you want it). We love the pub quiz and especially the best restaurant manager Klaus!

We went to The Harp for the first time today without a reservation. The store was packed and we still managed to get a seat. I've never eaten such a good burger in my life. The loaded fries are absolutely fantastic. I have to particularly emphasize the service. Friendly, authentic, fast. For some people this is a given, but I have often experienced it quite differently. I felt very comfortable and will definitely come back. Everything is just right here, from entering and leaving the restaurant.

This is the best burger place in Hannover. If someone tells you otherwise, they're wrong. Over multiple visits, the food has never been short of perfect. The burgers are well thought through in terms of toppings, the bread is good, and the fries are top tier. I don't know what they use to cut them, but they're all curved and carry toppings and sauces very nicely. The beer and long drinks menu is solid if not gigantic. I can't comment on wine, but if you're pairing wine with burgers you have bigger problems anyway. It was nice to find some unexpected things on tap, such as Punk IPA and Stowford Press cider. Over the years they've done some work on the beer garden, and it's really very pleasant now. We visited on a hot day, and ate comfortably. Has a bit of a beer hall vibe. Ignore pretenders to the throne. If you're going out for burgers in Hannover, this is the place.

I've been there several times now and there's never been anything to complain about. For me, the burgers are the best in Hanover and the fries are always delicious, especially the various loaded fries. But what stands out most are the incredibly friendly waiters, who always take the time to help you, even when the shop is full, always remain friendly and don't let the hustle and bustle show. I really enjoy coming here every time!

The Harp was once recommended to me on TikTok when I was looking for a food spot for Hanover. Went there spontaneously shortly after opening before the AC/DC concert and were thrilled. Good beer, bombastic burgers, super nice and lovely service. The concept is A1.

Nice restaurant, delicious burgers, nice atmosphere! The burgers are definitely something different than what you're used to, but they're simply awesome! The atmosphere at the back of the "tent" (?) is also nice, even if it can get very warm in good weather.

Food Good, but change the name of the burger (cosa nostra), is really disrespectful, I would never call a german burger SS. (Edit response: I understand if I have been a little bit extreme with my expression, but don’t take joke of me “cosa nostra” MEANS ONLY MAFIA and nothing else in Italian. It’s not the end of the world, but I wanted to express my disappointment to this names that I found really out of context).

Great food, good music, fun atmosphere! The burgers are to die for, and some with hilarious, inspired names. S are the cheese garlic fries. My favourite. The staff is nice and very efficient, fast service. Prices are decent, 8,5 to 14,50 EUR per Burger, decent portions, too. Would love to come back.

Really good place for burgers, poutine and beer including a cozy and special atmosphere. The Harp is really only recommended if you are looking for a good location in Hanover. The service is friendly and the price-performance ratio is also great. Depending on the day of the week (especially on weekends), it is advisable to reserve in advance. Otherwise there is always a place at the bar for a good drink. The selection here is really very large.

The Harp is truly the best burger joint in Hanover. Not exactly cheap but outstanding quality. It's a bit cozy and you should definitely reserve in advance as it can get very busy. There is always a table quiz on Mondays, which is a lot of fun. However, you should make a reservation for this at least a week in advance. The Harp should always be the first stop for good burgers in Hanover.

I'm a big fan of your shop, your burgers and your team, but you need to work on your organization. I don't think it's customer-friendly to have to clear your table at 8:50 p.m. on a Friday because 3 guests who haven't made a reservation need the space. We were then placed on a provosorium somewhere in the corner, even though we had reservations from 7pm. And then they said, "If you pay straight away, your table number will now be xy" We actually wanted to end the evening here on a wet, happy note, but that was an indirect rejection.

A restaurant that I visit regularly. Great service, I have to highlight it. The burger (Crystal Mett), but also the fries (Garlic Fries without bacon) - a real treat! It never gets boring, there's a taste explosion every time. I would like to give more stars, but there are only 5 ;-) Oh yes, Klaus' best man. Keep it up.

The Harp is the best place for great burgers, it's especially worth coming back again and again to try the Ehrenburger, which changes again and again and which you can find on Instagram. Top beer. The fries are powerful. The service is very charming and direct. Gladly again!

Great pub with creative and delicious burgers! A must for burger fans!

The place is hyped for their burgers, but I didn't find them all that special. The rolls are okay, as is the meat, the toppings sound more interesting than they actually taste and the selection on the menu is pretty confusing. By the time you noticed the differences between the burgers, you forgot which one sounded good. In terms of price, the larger burgers are good at 11-15 euros, but the smaller ones don't seem worth the 9 euros. They look pretty sad and don't really fill you up. It's also a shame that fries cost extra (even if they look good) and each dip is charged at 1 euro. The interior upstairs is nice and rustic and cozy, the tables are very close together and sometimes you sit in the aisle. The beer garden is one floor below and is permanently built. Even in winter it is warm here, although a little less pretty.

The service is very good! The employees know what they are doing. However, half-truths are communicated. The food is also good, but the quality of the meat has definitely deteriorated unfortunately... Some time ago the meat was still medium rare, but now the meat is only available well done. Unfortunately, this reflects the quality of the meat, because the employees said that due to laws it was no longer possible to offer meat that was fried medium. Medium is definitely possible, but the supply chain has to be right. Unfortunately, with the hype, the quality has also decreased. From what I think is the best burger in Germany to average... Luckily, taste is subjective.

I would like to think that I can call myself a “burger expert” so I can leave a very transparent review here. The culinary offerings at Harp are second to none. I've eaten a lot of burgers + sides in my life, some very good but also very bad. But only the harp can create this feeling of happiness after a burger. Everything tastes just right here!

I can highly recommend this restaurant. The three of us came spontaneously after a busy day and were lucky to get a spot. The burgers are honestly the best I've had in a long time. The service was quick and friendly and the ambience was right.

We love it here 😍 We've tried a lot of burger shops in Hanover, but at "The Harp" you simply get the best burger. The bun is all fresh, the meat is grilled to perfection, the sauces are so delicious... the selection of different burgers is great and that's not all, as the burgers have the best variations of fries. I love the "Garlic Cheese Fries". The staff is always friendly and the restaurant is really nice in its pub style.

Als ehemaliger Lindner und quasi-Nachbar bin ich möglicherweise etwas voreingenommen, aber ich bin einfach immer wieder unheimlich gerne im Harp. Das Pub ist in einem gewissen Maße auch Opfer des eigenen Erfolges, denn der einzige richtige Kritikpunkt ist, dass es oft schon sehr voll und dadurch bedingt im Service etwas langsamer ist. Damit muss man aber leben. Die Sonnenterrasse Richtung Ihme ist im Sommer ein Traum, man muss inzwischen aber rechtzeitig reservieren oder viel Glück, sowie eine kleine Gruppe haben. Die Burger und Pommes gehören in ihrer Preiskategorie ganz klar zu den Besten, die ich kenne. Gerade die Hangover-Fries sind für mich immer wieder ein Highlight.

As a former Lindner and quasi-neighbour, I may be a bit biased, but I just always enjoy being at the Harp. To a certain extent, the pub is a victim of its own success, as the only real criticism is that it is often very full and the service is therefore a little slower. But you have to live with that. The sun terrace towards Ihme is a dream in summer, but you have to reserve well in advance or be lucky and have a small group. The burgers and fries are clearly among the best I know in their price category. The hangover fries in particular are always a highlight for me. Stay as you are!

The Harp is by far my favorite burger place in Hanover. The hangover friezes have never disappointed me either. If you want to eat here, you should reserve a table just to be on the safe side, as it is very popular and therefore very busy. Top! :)

Ate Old Fashion Burger here and it was delicious. Bread was kinda different for me, named Martin's potato bun but was nice. Sauce they served was amazing also. Ordered beer named Brewdog Punk, it was advice of waiter. Beer wasn't my style but it's ok. I can say it's amazing place to eat and drink and also enjoy your time.

I have to say I was really very disappointed with the burger. I had a Crystal mett and the meat tasted like frozen like at MC's and for over 14€... I think it's very cheeky and I won't eat there again. There are better burger shops in Hanover. The service staff who took orders were good. However, the one service person arrived while I was eating and cleared the table. And wanted to have the plate that still had my fries on it. Super cheeky and doesn't work at all. Maybe train more quality and staff in the catering industry again

The best burger shop in the area. Been coming here regularly for a year now and have never been disappointed. The preparation is quick and the service is always on point and friendly. I can only recommend this store to everyone. Above all, the special dishes that are occasionally available off the menu put the crown on the whole thing. Interesting combinations and highly recommended. However, due to the popularity of the restaurant, reservations are required.

Best burger in Hanover! The monthly changing Ehrenburger is always a worthwhile experience, as the kitchen always comes up with something special. Of the burgers that are firmly on the menu, the Crystal Mett or the Machete Double Crunch are particularly tasty. The loaded fries are all awesome! The service is quick and super friendly. The atmosphere is super cozy and typical of a pub. You can also sit in the beer garden in spring or autumn. We're always happy to come back!

Basically always been very cool Only this time we had to wait 45 minutes for our bill. It wouldn't be a problem if you could pass the time by drinking beer. Which wouldn't be allowed either. I won't be coming back anytime soon. That was the problem. We sat in the beer garden and had to leave it at 10 p.m. with the information that we could order something in the bar area. But then the cash register collapsed, orders were no longer accepted and the entire store had to pay at the same time. We then waited there until shortly before 11pm to pay our bill...

Yesterday was a great evening. The burgers and sides were phenomenal! Mega drinks menu and top service. The only criticism: we were there with a very large group that was billed as a shared table, which stretched the payment process to over half an hour... But it has to be fair to say that the system and not the service staff were to blame here ! Only advance information about a staggered payment would have been good. Thanks for the great evening! We recommend you all and it certainly wasn't the last time we were guests on site 😉👌

We came here for the first time on a recommendation from further afield and it was great. Markus gave us a very warm welcome and showed us to our table - he was very nice and professional. The overall ambience is great and there is some cool music playing. The burgers were very tasty, absolutely recommended. We will come back in any case!

Amazing chicken burger, my favourite

The burgers, Pommer and variety of beer is really cool. They also have rotating burgers and fries, which is really cool. 5 stars for that. However, since the restaurant is always overcrowded and reservations are often lost, there are deductions for this. You may also want to reconsider paying at the counter, as it is not a great solution for guests, payers and probably the staff. The ambience is cool inside, but the area in the tent is completely sloping.

The burgers are truly fantastic and the beer selection is to die for. The atmosphere is reminiscent of an old English pub. It's consistent and fun. A reservation is urgently needed because the store is always full. You can only get a spot without a reservation during the week from around 8 p.m. Despite the rush, the staff is incredibly friendly, competent and takes the time to explain and advise. I would like to give it 6 out of 5 stars.

After a long time I was finally able to test The Harp. After its neighbor, the Butjer, also scored highly, The Harp did the same on all levels. Super friendly staff who know the menu and ingredients very well. The buns, of course Martin's potato rolls, show how seriously they take making burgers. In my opinion the best in the north and one of the best in Germany!

The food was absolutely great, as was the service at the table. The guy who assigns tables and says goodbye cannot be surpassed in terms of unfriendliness. This is the first and last impression for the bucket.

This is a wonderful place to go out on a date or party. It's cozy and Irish ambience takes you back in time . The burgers are so delicious.

The Cheeseophile burger was very tasty and served quickly. Everyone else (everyone had a different burger) was also very happy with the food. The prices were really okay. The atmosphere is very cool, like an Irish pub, although it's rare to see Murphys and Guinness signs hanging next to each other. Otherwise great shop ;)

A great Irish pub, with what I consider to be the best burger in town. The service is down-to-earth, friendly, professional and fast. The seating could be a bit larger and more comfortable for some, but it's a pub, not a restaurant. It's loud, there's sports on TV and overall it's a bit cramped, but it's super authentic. Amazing, absolutely recommended for burgers and beer.
