Very tasty and friendly service.

Four of us went there on a Wednesday evening. We were greeted rather rudely and asked why we'd just sat down. It was in a beer bar! We were then ignored and moved on to the next bar, which served delicious beer. The Harp is being crossed off our bar list.

The burgers and sides are absolutely amazing. The service is cool and really friendly. You do have to wait a while for the burgers because the place is always packed, but it's worth the wait 😁

The food was delicious and the price was reasonable. My mac and cheese side order with my burger was so huge that it was enough for another meal the next day. Highly recommended. But don't forget to make a reservation.

Even though it was very loud and difficult to understand each other, the visit in February was really great. The food was fresh, extremely tasty and the quality of the stay was good. I had been to The Harp for the first time many years ago and I have to honestly say that the quality of the food is still of a very high standard! It was super tasty. The only thing you have to like is that the music style of the place is very rocky, but you can ignore that because it's worth going there just for the taste explosion that this burger delivers. ☺️

I was there for the first time yesterday and was thrilled. We sat at the back in the beer garden and the burgers were great, along with the hangover fries and a nice pale ale. For me the best burger so far, the service was also courteous and friendly and the menu was very clear and clean. Great concept, great burgers and great beers, we'll be back.

The best burgers in Hannover, and the best fries. I can especially recommend truffle fries. Orders are usually prepared in ten minutes or even faster, so it's the ideal place even if you don't have much time. It's loud inside the main area, but it's how it's supposed to be in an Irish pub. The terrace is quieter and actually suitable for talking.

This was our first time at The Harp and we absolutely loved it! The burgers were simply delicious, for me the best burgers in all of Hanover! The cheese sauce that we ordered with it was also really tasty. The staff is super friendly and quick. We'll definitely be back!

Was touted to me as the main citizen, the taste was good, it was also well seasoned. In my opinion it's a good pub burger, service was tried hard but it was really busy, in my opinion the mountain had no depth and was pretty empty. Apparently we were a bit too busy

5 stars – AND IF I COULD, I WOULD STEAL AND GIVE ANOTHER STAR FROM HEAVEN ITSELF!!! I was at The Harp – and nothing has been the same since then. I thought I had already eaten good burgers. I thought I knew what taste was. But no. I was an unsuspecting creature wandering through life until this restaurant opened the door to the sacred dimension of taste explosions. The burger. My God. THE BURGER!!! I order. Expectations: normal. What do I get? A revelation. A divine composition of buttery brioche bun that wraps around the meat as gently as a loving hug from your grandma after you haven't visited in ten years. The patty? People. That wasn't a patty. This was a symphony made flesh. Juicy, smoky, perfectly medium - as if a Michelin star chef himself had kissed each fiber individually before putting it on the grill. And then the sauces. I don't know what they're mixing in there. Magic? Tears of a unicorn? There's something in there that's shooting straight into the limbic system. Every bite was like a Hans Zimmer soundtrack in your mouth. My taste buds stood at attention and saluted. I literally got goosebumps when the cheese ran over the patty. Really now. The fries? Crispy, golden brown, perfectly seasoned. I briefly considered whether I should apply for citizenship in a basket of fries. Even the mayo had personality. The ambience: Rustic, cozy, with a vibe that feels like someone is about to pour a pint of Guinness and tell you an epic story. I felt like the main character in a culinary fantasy epic. And the staff? So friendly that I thought I had accidentally been welcomed into the family. Conclusion: I went outside, sat on the curb and just took a deep breath. What did I just experience? I don't know exactly. But I know: I will come back. Again and again and again. The Harp is not a restaurant. It is a place of pilgrimage for Burger believers. If you're reading this: Go. There. There. And say hello to the burger from me. I love him.

Old Swede, what was that? I just came out of the harp and I'm totally amazed. What an awesome shop! Even though it's packed, the people are super nice and make it possible and find a place for us. It's very pleasant here, we feel totally at home. The selection of beers is fine. My favorite: hophouse lager. Wonderfully hoppy. Tastes like a green hop pilsner, which is difficult to find in this country. And then the burgers: They are simply delicious!! I think this was the best burger I've eaten. And then the baked fries. I don't know exactly what they're doing with it. Cucumber, bacon, onion, cheese, something like that. I could have fooled myself, really awesome. Was a great evening. We'll definitely come back more often...

Short and sweet: the best local restaurant we have ever eaten in in Germany - and we have already been to many. We have been regular guests at Harp for 8 years now and have never been disappointed! The burgers and side dishes are incredibly tasty, the staff is super friendly and the atmosphere is just cool! All the friends we have brought here so far have subsequently become permanent guests 🤩 Funnily enough, the harp has changed along with our family changes. You can now easily eat here with children and for this reason our little 1-year-old daughter also regularly enjoys the Harp Burger! The only important tip: always make a reservation beforehand! Keep it up🥳

Super cozy pub, always full and rightly so. The service is always friendly. The table quiz is particularly great, be sure to reserve in advance. The Harp is simply a must! This pub is probably one of the best in the entire city of Hanover. The staff is very hard-working and courteous, some of them can follow an example. The burgers are more than great and the chili cheese fries were great 😋 would be happy again.

It is said that the best burgers in Hanover are available here. That's not an exaggeration. As a special there is the regularly changing “Ehrenburger” with amazing creations. The fries are also highly recommended. There is a very good selection of draft beer, from the classic Herri to Guinness to craft beer from the Mashsee brewery. It is often worth asking about the current promotional tap. Without a reservation there is usually no space.

Stopped by The Harp on my dad’s first night in Germany, and wow what a great choice. I had one of the best burgers I’ve ever had, seriously top-tier. Washed it down with a delicious shot that hit the spot. What really made the night, though, was the bartender Cian, super nice, friendly, and welcoming to both me and my father. He helped make my dad’s first night in Hannover really special. Big thanks to The Harp for the amazing food, great vibes, and awesome service. We'll definitely be back!

We were there on March 14th. First of all, I have to say a lot of praise: the burgers were truly unbelievably delicious! I'd heard a lot about The Harp, but everything was just right. We sat in the heated conservatory. Unfortunately, we lost a star because we sat next to a door that didn't close properly, letting in a lot of cold air, which made me very cold. Luckily, there were blankets so I could bear it a bit better. Another negative point: it's very crowded. That's to be expected with such delicious burgers, so making a reservation in advance is recommended!

Didn't meet my expectations I visited this restaurant with my girlfriend and we ordered burgers: I had one with two patties, she had one with one. According to the menu, a patty should weigh 160g, but as an experienced chef I can safely say it was 100g at most. Unfortunately the patties were burnt on the outside and raw on the inside. I like juicy burgers, but not in this form. In addition, we had to wait a very long time for our food. The waiting time was far too long for simple burgers. I also didn't think the price-performance ratio was justified - the price was definitely too high for the quality we got. The only thing I really liked was the bun. I hope I was just unlucky with my meal and other guests have better experiences. The pictures on the website gave me hope for a delicious dinner, but unfortunately my expectations were not met.

Simply the best burgers in town.

We tried to reserve a table and couldn't get through. Shortly afterwards we were called back from the pub and offered a table. We arrived at the pub 20 minutes later and got the last table. The pup was completely full. I've never had a restaurant call me back right when it's hour. That was a great experience. We had a nice evening.

Very tasty burgers and great atmosphere. The service is also very nice. On concert days it can get quite crowded, so I would reserve a table in advance. If you're lucky, you can also get a spot spontaneously.

Best burgers in town! Great staff. Always calm, friendly and on the ball. When the store is full, the employees always try to serve all guests quickly. If it takes longer in the kitchen because everyone always orders at the same time, you always get information about how long the waiting time will be. I think that's great! The atmosphere is cozy and inviting. A minor drawback in winter is that the front area is a bit drafty. Thank you for pampering your guests with this high level of commitment and a great product!

It's been a long time since we've been to the Irish pub, it's 6:30 p.m. and it's packed, so reservations are very important. We ate Texas Chainsaw with fries and Machete with Garlic Cheese Fries, everything was served hot and crispy, with Guinness Stout. Even though it was very crowded, we were able to have a good chat. The service was quick, friendly!

The citizens are really excellent and there is a really good selection of drinks. If you like something a little more alternative, you will really celebrate the music there. I like to come by every time I'm craving a good burger 👌

Gegessen haben wir TEXAS CHAINSAW mit FRIES sowie MACHETE mit GARLIC CHEESE FRIES, alles wurde heiß und knusprig serviert, dazu gab es GUINNESS STOUT. Obwohl es sehr voll war, konnten wir uns gut unterhalten. Die Bedienung war schnell, freundlich!

Went to The Harp for the first time yesterday with my wife, unfortunately we didn't have a reservation, but the waiter quickly came up with a solution and so we got a seat right at the counter. The ambience is simply fantastic and the music was good too - you immediately felt at home. We ordered burgers and fries 🍟 🍟 We were both overwhelmed, neither of us had ever eaten such a good burger. The staff was extremely friendly and tried their best to make us happy. The food came super quickly and it was just a great evening. Rarely have I had such a feeling of happiness at a restaurant. We will definitely be back, the store is an absolute must when visiting Hanover! Next time we will reserve in advance.

Totally the best burgers in Hannover. Specialty burgers are usually quite exotic, but equally delicious. I recommend the chicken and the pulled pork, either with some special fries to accompany. Without a doubt, make a reservation in advance if you want to go on the weekend. The place is quite nice and the service is always excellent. Without a doubt one of the usual ones in Hannover and one that I continue to go to constantly.

Unfortunately we had a very bad experience. The employee was extremely unfriendly and spoke to us in an aggressive tone just because we changed our table. The burger was okay (definitely not the best burger in Hannover) but the Garlic Cheese Fries were really excellent. Nevertheless, we won't go there again.

Burger creations are created here that would leave even Gordon Ramsay speechless. Every bite here promises a taste explosion. In my opinion, the attention to detail and unusual Ehrenburgers are not a marketing phrase, but reality. You've taken the burger game to a new level. Keep it up! Deduction for the ambience because it is a little too loud and crowded for me personally. Down in the winter garden the tables are so close together that you sometimes can't get through.
