We had the ribs here that were highly praised by haz and found them tasty, but not exceptional. In general, the portion could have been larger (we already had an extra strand). We also tried the chili con carne, which was also relatively standard. Here we were a bit overwhelmed by the amount of tortilla chips. Overall, I think the food is a bit too expensive.

Best evening in Bibi's company!

Very nice welcome, we had a large salad plate and a dessert that was quickly put together. The employees in particular are very accommodating and you immediately feel at home.

One of the best places in Hannover. Not a cheap place but with a great atmosphere, awesome staff and amazing food. Ribs are a must, burgers are delicious and the variety of beer is super. Timo the owner is an amazing cool guy.

Small but nice restaurant with a delicious selection of dishes (preferably burgers) and a large craft beer menu.

The ambience is a pretty successful mix of DIY-industrial-Europallet charm, cool and cozy. The service that evening was similar, cool and charming. Dude type. The menu - at least when it comes to food - is small but good. There were three of us and unfortunately we all chose the same thing (🤷🏻‍♂️) Unfortunately I can only rate the Guacamole Burger. It's excellent. Anyone who likes craft beer will really get their money's worth. Huge selection. Overall, a great evening, we will definitely repeat it. PS.: The tequila is great - finally no Sierra 😏

Wow, rustic atmosphere with delicious food, good music and top staff. Was there for the first time today, but definitely not the last time. A location for me to go in and feel comfortable.

Food was prepared quickly and was tasty. The waitress was very attentive and really sweet 🥰. Would you go and steal my horses? Beer was good too. Furnishings are authentic.

I was there last week and tried the ribs with fries and coleslaw. The ribs were good, unfortunately a bit dark at the ends. The employees were nice and attentive. The ambience is okay and needs improvement.

I was here for the first time at short notice and I was really overwhelmed. The young lady in service was really extremely friendly (I've rarely seen that). The food (we chose 2x ribs) came incredibly quickly (maybe a 5 minute wait) and the portion was very large. We paid just over €50 for two ribs with drinks. I will definitely come back and try out the menu a little.

Unfortunately the food was inedible and too expensive. However, the waitresses are very nice and attentive. The atmosphere is rustic, but with the hard seating it's not for older students.

Best ribs in town! Tuesday recommendation!!

We ate at Jo’s more often. It was good every time and there is always something for everyone on the manageable menu. 5 well-deserved stars for that alone! :) This time we took the beer brewing course and it really impressed us! You get a lot of specialist knowledge from the owner Timo, you can brew your own beer and receive great instructions, and there are really delicious, different beers to try and a really sumptuous and delicious lunch. Kudos to the chef Alex. All in all, we were very generously entertained during the brewing course and learned a lot. If you could give it more than 5 stars, I would. Absolutely clear recommendation!

We were all very happy with the food, the service was friendly and attentive.

Really great, tender ribs with really good potato wedges and obviously homemade cole slaw. The burgers look really great too! The selection is actually quite small, but the quality is good! The chocolate cake is also really recommended. Really tart with a few sweet side dishes. The selection of drinks is excellent. A long menu of craft beers (local and from further afield), various gins and other spirits. The price is on the higher end, but you get something for it!

Great food, quaint atmosphere, great service! Indoor & outdoor spaces available. Parking is difficult because everywhere is a residential area. Tip: Tuesdays are rib day with a larger portion at the same price. Also huge selection of beers.

First of all - it's a shame that you can only give 5 stars. The evening was mega - an “ALL-ROUND PACKAGE”. The first contact is always the service...excellent - I can't describe it any other way. The employees welcomed us really well. NO "oh now I have to be friendly", no... it was very warm and friendly. The ribs...amazing!!! I would love to go there again this evening, but unfortunately I'm full 😉. I can only recommend to everyone... go, it's worth every minute. A mega thank you for the culinary experience and for the overall feeling of well-being. LG

Prices are a bit higher, but the portion size makes up for it, at least when it comes to the ribs. The burgers may well be worth the money, but the price is rather too high in relation to the portion size. Drink prices are local, but I'm happy to pay a euro more for special types of beer. Despite the full house, I never had the impression that the service was neglected. There is a risk of recurrence!

Top food, friendly service and relaxed atmosphere. At times the conversation was a bit strenuous due to the volume of the music, hence the deduction of 1 star.

Warmly recommend this cozy spot on the corner. Welcoming service, good food and lots of cold beer of varying types. And they were very pet friendly, and accomodated our dog with water as well.

Hello, I'm so disappointed that I have to get rid of it! We went to Jo's today for the first time to eat the famous ribs... After 10 minutes the food arrives (I found it super quick!), 3 small pieces of meat, LUKEWARM, floating in the ketchup/BBQ sauce...although I emphasized that I would rather eat little or no sauce, with potato wedges (they were ok) and Colleslaw (nothing grated, and with green salad and yogurt on it...hmm...) I really don't know what to say about that... It's a real shame...I love ribs! But I'll never come here again🙈

Ate two super tasty burgers here, one with beef and yours was vegetarian. Both great! And not to forget the super friendly service from Bianca and Mayra. Thank you for the evening☺️🙋‍♂️

A small restaurant in a corner building. The restaurant has excellent cuisine and the staff are always friendly and very attentive. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting. The menu is varied and offers some highly recommended dishes. The prices are reasonable. There is cold beer on tap. The Bam Bam platter (ribs) is highly recommended. Lovely again.

A real gastronomy, I rarely experience such attentive and friendly service today. The food is exceptionally good and the ambience is absolutely harmonious. We were so satisfied that we reserved a table again within 2 weeks and this time it was an excellent evening too, thanks to the service and the kitchen!

Went here at prime time when the weather was good and was lucky to get a table outside. Although it felt like all the tables were occupied, the employees and the boss (who runs just like his employees) were super nice, competent and quick. Drinks and food came very quickly despite the capacity. The menu reads very creatively, but at first glance the dishes looked quite expensive. The burgers we ordered were simply huge, visually made with love (despite how busy they were) and tasted absolutely amazing. You can argue about the price, it's not cheap, but in my opinion it's appropriate for the quality of the food and service. Absolute recommendation, anyone who complains about the food here has only themselves to blame!

Wonderful place where we were served very well. The beer was fantastic. Unfortunately I can't say anything about the food, but the ambience and the service suggest that it must be good. Definitely a good address if you are in Hanover.

I've been there for the first time. I had a burger (Take it Cheesy) which was very tasty. It wasn't anything outstanding, but it was solid and tasty. Since I don't drink beer, I had a spritzer which was also really good. The guys I was there with tried different beers and were very impressed. About the ambience: The shop is beautifully decorated and invites you to linger. What should be highlighted is the nice service. Everyone was very friendly and in a good mood and our orders were delivered very quickly. Be it the food or the drinks, everything came very quickly. I would definitely come back again.

The (really) best burger (“Guacamalteke”, but also “pretty best friends”) that I have ever eaten. As I told the boss verbally: We'll be back after my vacation in the USA. And maybe this burger will remain the best of my life even after my American vacation. By the way, the salads were also 1. Delicious & 2. Even though they were salads, they were really filling. Addendum after vacation in the USA: For us, it remains the best burger on European soil so far. But especially in the homeland of the burger, California, there are really good ones on every corner. In all sorts of variations. A New Zealand restaurant in San Diego (Queenstown), for example, particularly stood out.

Cool & cozy pub atmosphere, special types of beer and good food, with good service - that's how you can describe an evening here. All of our dishes were very tasty, with good portions at a fair price. In addition to the dishes in the pictures, we also had the chilli con carne and the chilli cheese nuggets. All clear recommendations! The music selection deserves special praise - a lot of classic rock, 60s-80s and even more modern stuff like Ghost - I really liked it. The only small point of criticism is the single-use plastic containers for the sauces, which are served a bit carelessly on the plate. Small glass jars or something like that would be nicer here.

The place has a classic feel, with an eclectic selection of beer. However, I was disappointed with the ribs, they advertise 6 hour smoked ribs which are supposed to be buttery soft. The ribs could hardly be pulled off the bone. Nevertheless, I will continue to visit this restaurant when I am in Hanover again. At the end there was a round of Jägermeister for everyone.

Great food (best ribs in Hanover)! Super friendly and fast service! Great ambience and great music. A real highlight not only for beer lovers, but for everyone!!

The staff was super friendly. At the beginning it took a little longer because there was a big rush at the time, but we were informed and apologized, which we thought was great! After ordering, the meal came relatively quickly and there was a good portion of super tender ribs that fell off the bone as soon as you looked at them. A little too much and too intense sauce for my taste, so you didn't taste quite as much of the pure meat. However, the way it is prepared (simmering in the sauce for over 6 hours) probably cannot prevent this. All in all But still very tasty! The non-alcoholic lemonades such as the Zarenbrause and the Surfin Bird were also varied and refreshingly delicious. The music was a bit too loud for our liking, so we had to shout at each other across the table to have a conversation. Otherwise it was a really great evening :-)

Burger roll was limp, meat quality for the price (20€ per burger, I think the cheapest one was 17.50) wasn't great.

...a lot of it is ultimately a matter of taste. The really tender ribs were “swimming” in way too much sauce. Maybe add the sauce separately🤔? My burger patty tasted of almost nothing, was seasoned little or not at all and, in my opinion, should have been cooked more well, it was pretty limp. A lot of money was saved on the cheese. Unfortunately it wasn't a highlight for me in terms of taste, especially since the remaining ingredients didn't stand out either. Nice team in a great atmosphere with music that is way too loud.

So, I had a bit of a hard time with this review today. The food is really great. They didn't skimp on quality here. The service was great and the support with the beer selection. Excellent and of course the quality is also right here. Unfortunately, I just don't like the ambience at all. If you can't even sit properly on the benches because there are different seat cushions on them, very uncomfortable. The old German style isn't really my thing either. And the loud music makes you think of a rocker bar. Not made for everyone either. But what really bothered me was the pricing, it was all just really too expensive.

By far the best ribs I've eaten anywhere in Germany! Very friendly staff who advise on the various craft beers in a rustic atmosphere. Prices for food and “normal” beers are good! The craft beers are a little more expensive, but there are special beers that change every month. A highly recommended restaurant, no matter what the occasion, whether eating with family, friends or for a nice evening with a girlfriend.

Hey, After a long time I was back at Jo's and it was great as before. All the menus ordered and prepared at the table were delicious. Frank was also super nice and left no wishes unfulfilled 👌🏻😉 It's a great evening. We recommend!

Ich weiss gar nicht mehr wie oft ich dort war und wie oft ich mir die BAM-BAM-PLATTE reingeknallt habe. Unfassbar lecker und absolut Empfehlung! Nicht umsonst prämiert. Riesige Portion zu gutem Preis. Auch Personen mit Affinität zu Craft-Beer sind dort super aufgehoben. Ständig wechselnde Biere des Monats vorhanden! Also hin da!

I was blown. We got there very early, 30 mins before they opened and had no reservations. We were let in, got seats at the bar and were able to enjoy the extremely friendly personnel, great atmosphere, the beers and the fantastic ribs. Frank, cheers :)

Essen war sehr lecker, nur die dips aus Plastikschalen passte irgendqie nicht ins Bild. Service war sehr nett und am ende gabs noch ein gratis bier🥰 Fußboden hat oben etwas geklebt. Alles in allem klar zu empfehlen, ich komme wieder.

Das Essen ist sehr lecker. Vor allem die Rippchen sind zu empfehlen. Leider empfinde ich die Musik für ein Restaurant als viel zu laut. Unterhaltung war kaum möglich. Mussten uns am Tisch anschreien.

Food was good but too spicy with too much hot mustard, beer selection was excellent. We did not have reservations but our order was taken and then we were asked to change seats for another group that came in who said they had reservations, fine but why not tell us that before taking our order?

Ich liebe diesen Laden seit ich 2018 nach Hannover gezogen bin. Das Essen ist wahnsinnig gut und das Ambiente erinnert mich an einen englischen Pub. Es ist wahnsinnig gemütlich und das Personal ist total nett. Selbst wenn man kein Bier trinkt (die wechselnde Auswahl ist riesig) findet jeder(!!!) hier etwas das er oder sie mag. Meine absolute Top Empfehlung in Hannover!

Kellner und Barkeeper waren sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Wir haben sehr leckere Rippchen gegessen. Man muss beachten, dass diese nicht gegrillt sonder Niedertemperatur gegart sind. Das Fleisch ist mega zart und fällt quasi vom Knochen. Dazu gab es außergewöhnlich gute Kartoffelecken. Was ich erschreckend fand, war das die Dipps in Außer-Haus-Plastik-Verpackungen mit Deckel waren. Das mag für die Küche einfach zu handeln sein, ist aber aus meiner Sicht eine Umweltsauerei. Dafür 2 Sterne Abzug beim Essen. Ich war nicht das erste Mal hier. Die Burger sind kann ich sehr empfehlen!

Sehr netter Empfang und auch das Personal im generellen ist sehr freundlich. Wir hatten 2 Burger mit süsskartoffel Pommes und 2 sehr leckeren dips. Das essen kam sehr schnell und es war einfach hervorragend. Einer der besten Burger seit langem. Die crafted Biere haben uns auch sehr gut geschmeckt. Klare Empfehlung wenn man lecker essen gehen will. Wenn wir wieder in Hannover sind kommen wir gerne wieder
