In den Räumen einer alten Hannover Kneipe gibt es neues Leben. Tolles Essen , eine super nette Bedienung und eine schöne Atmosphäre. Toll um Abends mit Freunden gemütlich zu essen und ein Bierchen zu trinken. Die Preise sind gut und wenn der Feierabendverkehr abgeklungen ist können sogar Landeier wie ich schön im Außenbereich sitzen. Zum Glück noch nicht komplett überlaufen.

Ich war schon oft hier und es hat mir bisher immer gefallen. Top Essen und Top Service.

Wir hatten spontan Hunger auf Rippchen bekommen und sind durch Google auf das Jo‘s aufmerksam geworden . Wie wurden super lieb von der tollen Kellnerin empfangen fast schon familiär ! Sowas findet man heute nur noch selten . Wir haben Rippen bestellt und ich kann nur sagen, sowas leckeres hab ich lange nicht gegessen . Man brauchte nicht mal Besteck so zart war das Fleisch , das es sich schon von alleine vom Knochen löste . Also wir waren rundum zufrieden und werden gerne nochmal vorbei schauen liebe Grüße Chantal & Katharina

Rippchen sind nicht geglazed. Sonst alles gut. Aber das ist schon extrem wichtig.

Wir sind über das Gutscheinbuch zu diesem Laden gekommen und waren sehr begeistert. Super leckere Burger, Fleisch Alternativen gab es auch und der Service war sehr freundlich. Verdiente 5 Sterne 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟

Ein absoluter GENUSS dieser Laden. Das Essen ist durchweg spitze! Rippchen, Burger, beilagen ... DER CHEESECAKE <3 Ein absoluter Traum. Ich habe NOCH NIE in Hannover so gute Rippchen gegessen. Service ist einfach Top. Jung, freundliche und immer für nen Spruch zu haben. Top Note in allen Punkten und das ist echt selten

Nichts für Veganer! Wir waren heute (12.05.26) zu dritt dort. Das beste direkt am Anfang: der Service war spitze und auf Zack - danke dafür. Das Essen leider nicht. Der ausgewiesene vegane Salat ist gar nicht vegan. Er wird mit Wasabi-Mayo gereicht, die laut Küche dann doch nicht vegan ist. (Hä?) In unserem Fall war diese alle, weshalb man uns dann (fertige) Sour-Cream aus Milch! dazu gab. Hier fehlte ein kurzer Hinweis: Dressing ist alle - gehört sich einfach so… Die Guacamole schmeckte eigenartig und es herrschte Uneinigkeit ob sie selbstgemacht war. Auf dem Salat waren frische Kräuter was schön war. Aber wenn ihr vegan nicht verstanden habt oder keine Lust drauf, dann lasst es doch einfach?! Es kann nicht sein dass bei einer als vegan ausgewiesenen Speise alle Komponenten noch mal abgefragt werden müssen, ob sie den Kriterien entsprechen. Die Burger waren gerade so okay. Die Getränke gut und schnell bei uns. Alles in allem, mit diesen unappetitlichen Plastiktöpfen in denen die Soßen drin sind (WHY?????? - lasst das!!!! Denkt an die Umwelt) und dem ganzen abgelebten Ambiente, war es der wirklich nette Service der uns erfreut hat.

Heute haben wir spontan unseren Jahrestag mit einem american Dinner beendet. Das junge (und teils neue) Personal war sehr aufmerksam, sehr kommunikativ und lebhaft. Man hat sich wunderbar aufgehoben gefühlt. Also eingefleischter Metalheads fand ich den Mix aus Oldies, Doro bzw. Warlock, Manowar und co. einfach spitze! Mein Highlight war dennoch Billy the Raver :D zum Essen können wir auch nur positives ablassen! Unsere BierBibliothek (Untapped) wird dort definitiv erweitert und der Deal bleibt: der Samstag nach meinem Geburtstag im April 2027 gehört uns! >:) P.S. zum nächsten Besuch gibt's ne HÜ zum Namen des Ladens. Muahahaha!

Musik etwas laut aber sonst ok👍🏻

Gestern von älterem Freund und Band-Coach seit 1978 weit vor The Voice und Dsds zum Essen eingeladen ... "Laden" nicht unbekannt ... erinnert vom Innenraum an die alte Mottenburg in Hannover (Insider müssten diese Kneipe kennen) Schöne rustikale ältere Einrichtung - aber WC Austattung sauber ! Tolles Flair in diesen Räumlichkeiten ... Das Essen bzw. Speiseangebot und die Darreichung hier war "Sterne" verdächtig ! Ein sehr schöner Abend ...................................:-)))))) Und super Service, sogar die vorangezapften Getränkebestellungen wurden nach Umbestellung noch mal neu gemacht - Super Service LG Andreas

Sehr guter Service, nettes Personal. Hatten schon nach kaum einer viertel Stunde unser Essen. Muss aber dazu sagen, dass es an dem Abend nicht so voll war. Essen war mega lecker. Ich hatte einen Salat mit Rinderfiletstreifen. Das Fleisch war sehr zart. Ist nicht ganz günstig…. Aber es lohnt sich 👍🏻 Kommen gerne wieder.

Haben uns wegen der angepriesen Rippchen die Lokation ausgesucht und waren absolut begeistert. Können nur jedem empfehlen wer Rippchen mag die so zart sind das sie vom Knochen fallen müssen dort hin.

Coole Location, genial gutes Essen und ein tolles Personal mit Witz und Charme. Da kommt man gerne wieder.

Waren dort nun schon mehrfach und das Essen ist immer lecker, Getränkeauswahl auch super. Service ist nett und meist schnell. Gemütliche Atmosphäre:)

Unfamilienfreundlich. Wir waren an einem Wochentag abends (20:00) mit unserem Sohn dort. Sein „Kindermenü“ kam nicht, auch nicht nachdem wir die Bedienung noch einmal darauf angesprochen hatten. Nach 50 Minuten wollten wir gehen, weil es spät wurde. Genau in dem Moment, als meine Frau aufstand, um zu bezahlen, tauchte die Bedienung „wie durch Zauberhand“ mit dem Teller auf. Natürlich keine Entschuldigung und keine Erstattung – das Essen wurde einfach in eine Doggie-Bag gepackt und war bei unserer Ankunft zu Hause kalt. Wenn man keine Familien bedienen will, sollte man einfach sagen, dass man ausgebucht ist. Wirklich deprimierendes Verhalten gegenüber Eltern und Kindern.

Keine Auswahl für Vegetarier, vegetarische Pattys waren aus. Die Dips zu den Nachos waren unterirdisch.. irgendein glibberiges Zeug aus der Tube. Die Guacamole hat ihren Namen nicht verdient. Nie wieder…

Also wer hier noch keine Rippchen gegessen hat, ist selbst schuld.

Wir versuchen mehrfach im Jahr hier essen zu gehen und uns vom Craftbeer Angebot überraschen zu lassen. Leider schaffen wir es viel zu selten. Preis Leistung und Service sind Top, alles etwas entspannter und nicht so bitter ernst. Die Rippchen such ihresgleichen, aber das Essen ist generell sehr gut!!! Danke für die vielen schönen Abende bei euch.

Die besten Rippchen seit Langem! Fleisch fällt fast vom Knochen, mega lecker gewürzt und perfekt zubereitet. Dazu freundlicher Service – rundum ein tolles Restaurant-Erlebnis.

I'm a bit torn. There's really nothing to complain about. The service is friendly, the atmosphere pleasant. The craft beers, which are part of the name, take a backseat to some of the more standard fare. My food was okay, but mostly convenience food, it seemed. The only real downside is the prices. The burger at €20.90 is borderline, and the beers are significantly more expensive than in the old town.

Just under 5 out of 5. I'd deduct a point for the slightly too small portion of coleslaw and the somewhat high price. I think the plate should be about €2.00 cheaper. Unfortunately, they didn't accept card payments that day – I hope that's a one-off. The ribs were incredibly tender, the sauce was good, though it could have been a bit less sweet or darker for my taste. Delicious Czech Budweiser on tap. I would definitely come back.

The ambiance is a pretty successful mix of DIY-industrial-Euro pallet charm, cool and cozy. The service that evening was similarly cool and charming. A real dude. The menu—at least regarding the food—is small but good. There were three of us and, unfortunately, we all chose the same thing (🤷🏻‍♂️). So, unfortunately, I can only review the guacamole burger. It's excellent. Anyone who loves craft beer will really get their money's worth. Huge selection. Overall, a fantastic evening; we'll definitely go again. P.S.: The tequila is great—finally, no Sierra 😏 Update: Guinness on tap—and, as a logical consequence, Irish Car Bombs! Life is so beautiful ❤️

The food was delicious, and the beer was also good. This is a great opportunity to try new beers. The drinks menu offers a wide variety of beers, some of which have also been well-received online. Unfortunately, the bar was a bit understaffed that evening, and not every beer on the drinks menu was available. Hence the one-star deduction.

Good selection of burgers and ribs. Both delicious, and a large selection of craft beers. Since I'm not a big fan of those, I opted for Budvar. The service was attentive, relaxed, and funny.

Not suitable for wheelchair users. The ribs were divine. Rustic decor.

The food was good, but the portions were significantly smaller than before. On top of that, the prices were quite high. A particularly negative point: instead of the ordered bottle of mineral water, we were served home-made sparkling tap water – for €7 per liter. This seems excessive and spoils the overall impression.

Incredibly good service and food. I'm glad to have such a great place around the corner – for special occasions or just for fun :) Whether it's food or drinks, they have everything your heart desires, with a wide selection and a variety of dishes. Cool shop and good ideas with craft beer, but unfortunately, there's only one vegan dish, which is a bit of a shame. But I can understand that the menu isn't designed for vegan customers. :)

This establishment won't accept you if you don't drink alcohol. I paid €10 at the cash register, and he gave me €10 back and acted like I'd already paid. Be careful, he did that to make me look like a crook. Then the chef came over and said, "Hello, you still have to pay." That was inhumane.

Absolutely disappointing in terms of service. Our reservation via the restaurant's own website "seemed to have been lost." Luckily, we still got a table right away. However, they forgot about the menus. We helped ourselves with the online menu and, once they noticed, were able to order right away. Drinks came quickly. 30 minutes, 45 minutes, 60 minutes, no food in sight. The table next to us had already complained and was about to leave because they, too, had been waiting for 50 minutes. When we asked how long our four burgers would take and whether we could at least get fries for our 3-year-old, the only response we got was "The kitchen is doing its very best. I can't say when the food will arrive." It's a shame that there seems to be no way to communicate with the kitchen here. No offer, let alone a request, for new drinks. The more time passed, the more we were willing to just get up and leave. The food arrived a whopping 1:40 hours after ordering (9:40 p.m.). Absolutely unacceptable... and the place wasn't exactly bursting at the seams. Especially considering how they handled a child, we were very disappointed. We devoured the burgers in no time. They tasted good, even though higher-quality burger buns could have been used. The sauces come in plastic-wrapped containers on the plate. Not a very pretty plate. "Vegetarian patty" is chopped, grilled vegetables that are NOT in patty form on the burger, but rather loose inside the burger and thus fall apart while eating. Price-wise, it's around €25-30 per person, depending on the drink, which is a good price for fresh beef. Given the "service," we unfortunately won't be coming back.

We booked the brewing course here. The appointment was canceled three hours before the start date without any clear explanation. Since then, no response from the organizer. I haven't received the money, which had to be transferred in advance (without proof of payment), either.

How delicious can ribs be? Answer: Yes! So, so, so tender and juicy! The service was also absolutely fantastic. So friendly and accommodating. We'll definitely be back!

A lovely little place with a very diverse beer list and a decent menu with a fairly large selection. People usually go for the ribs, which are so tender they practically fall off the bone. The staff is also very friendly and always keeps an eye on your table, so you don't run out of things 😉

We had two different burgers, which were also very tasty. The salad we ordered was simply carelessly slapped into two burger boxes. It wasn't appetizing and really not worth the price.

They advertise the best ribs in town... and damn, they're right. The meat flows from the ribs, and the flavor is truly amazing. The extensive craft beer selection is also impressive. We look forward to our next visit.

We were there last Saturday and actually just wanted to have a quick beer. But we were given a very warm welcome and felt like we were in a local restaurant because of Bianca's great service. Great service and good beer.

It annoys me to no end that you can NEVER order food for pickup, but always have to eat in. Is that stupid drink you're supposed to order with it really worth missing out on a €60 order of ribs? For a while, they said they were getting a bigger grill, and then they'd have enough capacity for orders – but that was a year ago now, and it doesn't seem to have helped. I've already lost all desire to actually go to a restaurant because I don't like giving in to extortionists. (Not to mention that I'm just passing through Hanover and don't have time to eat...) It's a real shame, because the food was very good.

A really lovely bar/restaurant. We travel from Bremen several times a year just to eat because we like it so much. The ribs are perfect, and the other dishes are also very good. The drink selection is also very good, especially the beer selection. Basically, I would recommend making a reservation for dinner, as the restaurant is very busy. The atmosphere is rustic but very good.

We wanted to eat ribs, unfortunately they weren't ready at 6 p.m. and were only available from 7 p.m. The supplier had probably delivered too late. Are there points deducted because of this? Probably not, after all that says something about the operator's quality standards. So I switched to burgers, they were good too. However, I would have preferred the bun to be toasted. The beer selection is extraordinary, an extra star for that alone

Prices are a bit higher, but the portion size makes up for it, at least when it comes to the ribs. The burgers may well be worth the money, but the price is rather too high in relation to the portion size. Drink prices are local, but I'm happy to pay a euro more for special types of beer. Despite the full house, I never had the impression that the service was neglected. There is a risk of recurrence!

My friends and I went out to eat and were treated like total scum. When I asked, “Is there peanut in it?” (just to be sure), my friend got a funny look and the answer: “Why would there be peanut in it?” My other friend ordered sweet potato fries and didn’t get them. When he had to pay he was told that he had to pay it and that €2 wouldn't cost him his life. I don't think that works at all, I don't recommend it! That doesn't work at all!

Jo’s Food & Craft in der List is a real recommendation for anyone who likes fresh, creative cuisine. Nothing tastes like it's off the shelf here: from juicy burgers to crispy salads to specially marinated ribs, everything is homemade and delicious. Tip: wedges with wasabi dip! There is also a selection of over 20 craft beers that go perfectly with the dishes - great for beer lovers! Jo’s shows that the List can easily keep up with Linden’s burgers in terms of cuisine 😉

We are always very satisfied. The citizens are a dream. The Bambam Platter (ribs) is excellent. You will receive a friendly welcome. Ordering is quick and the service is friendly. The beer selection is huge. There you can also get something outside of conventional tastes. And as for the prices. Good things cost money. And I don't think what is being called is exaggerated. Luckily for me, the store is not available to me every day. Because that way it always remains something special for me, where I like to be.

It's just not true that this place has the best ribs in town - it's the best in the world! Okay, at least from Germany, but only because I haven't eaten any abroad. WORLD CLASS!! Buttery tender and a stunning marinade! Thanks! Come again!

Great food, quaint atmosphere, great service! Indoor & outdoor spaces available. Parking is difficult because everywhere is a residential area. Tip: Tuesdays are rib day with a larger portion at the same price. Also huge selection of beers.

Fast and nice service, very tasty ribs

We were here with a group of boys and ate burgers and ribs. The burgers are normal, not outstanding. The ribs are very good. Now to the operation. The men at the bar were very friendly and made you feel welcome. One of our waiters was already quite drunk. He didn't always understand what was said to him and was also unfriendly in a rather uncharming way.

Very nice discovery almost by chance. A warm and very lively establishment with a very welcoming owner who is delighted to be able to say a few words in French. You quickly feel at home there. If I'm in the area again, I'll definitely go back.

The restaurant had just opened and was still quite cold when we left. The burger and wrap were quite tasty, but not above average. The food was barely more than lukewarm, even though it was served very quickly. The amount of sauces filled into small plastic pots could have been a little richer. Unfortunately, the highly touted chocolate cake was not worth a sin in terms of taste. Given the fairly high prices and mostly very positive reviews, we would have expected a little more overall.

We reserved a table in writing in mid-November and received this confirmation in writing. When we got there, we discovered that the shop is closed on Sundays! How can you confirm a table for us?! We drove for almost an hour and then returned home without having accomplished anything. And it was on our son's birthday, who was so excited about the ribs. When I asked - again in writing - how this could all be, I received exactly, nothing. Worst service ever, thank you for nothing.

Really a great bar, the food is great too. The ribs are particularly good. There are also many different craft beers. The atmosphere is also very rustic.

We had a salad and a veggie wrap, both of which were highly recommended. It would be nice if the vegetarian/vegan menu was expanded a little, as it was really very good. We would love to come back.

The shop does what it promises, good beer and delicious burgers! The burgers aren't exactly cheap, but the taste is absolutely worth it.

We went here to eat burgers, and as a vegetarian I also found something on the menu - all burgers are also vegetarian. I liked it and the portion size was perfect. In addition, the ambience and music are super harmonious and cool. Plus the lovely service staff, you just feel really comfortable.

I recently went to Jo's for the first time with my friend and went home as a very satisfied guest. The ambience was ok for me, the service, especially the friendliness of the employees, was as you would expect and the food was absolutely top! We both had the ribs and yes, perhaps the portion could have been a bit larger, but that's really not a negative. The taste and presentation are super tasty and appealing. The prices are crisp. You have to be aware of that. But, you also get something in return. We're going again today and are really looking forward to it!

We had the ribs here that were highly praised by haz and found them tasty, but not exceptional. In general, the portion could have been larger (we already had an extra strand). We also tried the chili con carne, which was also relatively standard. Here we were a bit overwhelmed by the amount of tortilla chips. Overall, I think the food is a bit too expensive.

Very nice welcome, we had a large salad plate and a dessert that was quickly put together. The employees in particular are very accommodating and you immediately feel at home.
