We celebrated my husband's 50th birthday with 13 people and it was just great. Even though the shop was full to the last table, we didn't suffer from it. Great service, not too intrusive, super friendly, very tasty food. There is absolutely nothing to complain about and I am always very critical. Thank you dear The Ash team. We'll definitely be back.

We were there today with 6 people. I have to say I was disappointed. The service was slow and inattentive. Below average, especially when it comes to drinks. However, the prices are rather high, with a Pinot Gris costing EUR 7.80 and 0.15 cl. In return you can expect solid service. On average we had to wait 15-20 minutes for an order. I found the food to be rather quick, but the quality was rather normal and nothing extraordinary. In the end, you pay dearly for the ambience and location. I wouldn't recommend it but you really can't go wrong. Expectations simply shouldn't be too high here. In the end, however, there was a heavy insistence on a tip. The service was at least friendly, if ineffective. Two espressos and one grappa were offered on the house and charged at the end. I then found this again on the invoice. That had a very bad aftertaste.

-American Sunday brunch chosen. Everything was fresh and tasty with a great selection, service was nice and good, the restaurant was chic, the number of visitors was appealing. On Sundays and public holidays you simply park on the street.

I had a steak, which should be good in a steakhouse in this price range, but wasn't. Rip Eye was a simple rump steak, a bit cold and not cooked correctly. Unfortunately the cocktail was out, for whatever reason? Service was completely overloaded and hardly visible, couldn't order anything. No, not recommended, especially not for this price.

I loved the service: the Spanish server was extremely friendly! The problem is an employee (curly short blond hair lady) literally came screaming at him because he ordered the beer of the promotion of app and he couldn’t have done it, without the order of the burger before. Super uncomfortable situation: for the server and for the client. This topic could have been dealt privately. Anyways, the problem is not paying 6 euros on the beer, if is the case, but the behavior unacceptable, sorry. Embarrassing. The food amazing though :)

Very nice bar at the entrance area with the possibility of dining in the restaurant. We ordered burgers here and even though things didn't go well for us, the management reacted perfectly so that we were satisfied. We'll be back!

The ASH is highly recommended. We ate the burgers, the pulled pork burgers, the meat was very juicy and the fries were also very good, soft on the inside and crispy on the outside. The staff/waiters were very nice and even told us a story about the cocktails. In my opinion, very likeable. The ambience is great, with the light keeping everything very warm. I personally think open kitchens are very good. The restaurant deserves a full 5 out of 5 stars and would recommend it

Our visit to this restaurant was a real highlight! We ordered the salmon and it was simply outstanding – juicy, flavorful and perfectly cooked. The atmosphere was cozy and the service was quick and friendly. It was an all-round successful evening that we will definitely repeat. Highly recommended!

Just walked by this place from the hotel. Very welcoming. Great drinks and food. I had the pinchos. Tasty steak bites with chimichurri. Great place.

Evening was okay here. Service was really nice and on point, but that's about it with positive aspects. Unfortunately, rib eye was dry and tougher than I'm used to. Unfortunately, the Caesar salad was out of parmesan and all special cuts such as tomahawk and T bone steak were unfortunately sold out. Unfortunately, the “port wine jus” didn’t taste like wine at all, just like Knorr gravy paste with water and onions. In addition, the shrimp in the Caesar salad were very salty... In general the experience was quite ok here. Nothing special but not super super bad either. Honestly wouldn't come back.

The restaurant is located in a business district area. There is little to no gree parking or street parking. You have to park in a parking deck across a busy street. This requires you to make a u turn after passing the restaurant. I have been 4 times and each time there was no hostess waiting at the door and the bartenders avoid making eye contact with people who come in the door. The last time I went about a week ago with family visiting on holiday. We waited at the door for at least 10 minutes before anyone came to greet or seat us. Once we were seated we waited another 10 minutes before a server came to us. This was around 14:30 and the restaurant was not very busy. Once our server came and took our order everything was great and came out quickly which means the kitchen and the server are doing a wonderful job. The food was wonderful, hot, and flavourful. I cannot remember my server name but she was Asian and very nice and professional. I have been lucky enough to have her twice when I come to Ash. She is really the reason that I come back because the first impression is not that great. I wish the parking could be better. The menu is nice and had plenty of selections

Great grill restaurant, with spectacular decoration, good service and food. Very professional attention and good event site. Great selection of meats and sides. The only thing is the background music is very loud to be able to chat comfortably....

Overpriced store with bad fails The store is a meeting place for wannabes. Positive: Quiet and nice terrace despite being in the middle of the city. Starters: Three slices of bread with alioli. The bread is charred or at least scorched (or is there someone who likes that and it's intentional?). The papasitas were perfect. Since the chicken burgers apparently have a patty like at McDonald's, the main course was the club sandwich instead for almost 20 euros. Size and taste generally average, but again charred bread that ruins the taste. As a side dish (usually 6.50) a small potato with sour cream. Either the wrong variety or stored for too long - tastes terrible (alternative: supermarket has larger and better cooked potatoes in a pack of two for 1 euro each). Other side dish: Steakhouse Fries - rather too dry. Sauces nothing special but ok, ketchup rather below average. Drinks (nothing special tried) overpriced.

Tolles Ambiente und sehr aufmerksamer Service für ein gutes Steak oder Burger

We had lunch at Ash yesterday. The place was quite busy and after 1 hour of waiting for the food it turned out that our order had been lost. We then apologized, the food came quickly and we didn't have to pay anything. From my point of view, something like this can always happen under stress. I definitely thought the reaction was very good and, despite the delay, we left the Ash very satisfied and would be happy to come back.

Great meal as usual. Experience is always consistent.

Steaks are ok but not great. Wine list poor. Service very nice. Huge restaurant with a somewhat dark atmosphere. Probably something for bankers, lawyers and other expense knights.

The store is an absolute no go. Mediocre food at completely overpriced prices is one thing, but what tops it all off is the behavior of the staff. There were 12 of us and we were greeted with "What would you like to drink? And water is already on the table." It was acted as if it was on the house (which is quite common in houses of this price category), only to have it at the end of the evening smiling coldly to collect more than 30 EURO for 4 bottles (!). This borders on fraud, I can only recommend avoiding the store.

Here you can find all the high-quality meat your heart desires, be it burgers, fillets and spare ribs. Of course also salads and a great bread made for the house. The ASH is clean and has a great, high-quality atmosphere. All worth a visit if you're traveling to Frankfurt, but of course it's also a great excursion location for locals. 👍😊

Amazing service from Victor he provided everything we needed and was amazing at explaining any questions we had. Pulled beef burger with sweet potato fries, teres major steak with chimichurri, the spicy one burger, and rib-eye steak is what we ordered and everyone loved it. The drinks every one got and the mayo that came with chips was much better than what you normally get as well at most restaurants. Its clean and has a nice atmosphere, which was very good for a big place like here. Again great service from Victor

Schönes Restaurant, gemütliche Atmosphäre, freundliches Personal. Essen war gut , grosse Auswahl. Die Nebenkosten für BBQ Sauce, 3 Euro fand ich übertrieben , sonst alles gut.

One of my favourite places to eat in Frankfurt. The added bonus is I only live 2 minutes walk away.

I was there for lunch today with colleagues. Ash has a great lunch special. You get a Hsmburger+side+soft drink for 15 euros. The ambience and service were very good. The food came quickly and the burger tasted very good. The patty was also larger than most other burger places. We can definitely recommend “Ash” for lunch. I hadn't been there in the evening yet.

Update! I've been to Ash for lunch a few times since my failed visit. Fortunately, everything is as it should be again. Thanks. The Spanish waiter is unique. He seems unfriendly, but he's not. His humor is a bit dry 😀

Food tasted very good. Buns were lightly toasted and meat well-done. However, you can't imagine large portions here. Burger was small and sides have to be ordered separately. So not recommended for those who are very hungry and have a stomach 😉 mac'n cheese wasn't that great and had little cheese, which is great for me but maybe not as expected for others. Rosemary potatoes taste great though

This establishment exhibits a complete disregard for the proper preparation of meat in their burgers. Furthermore, they fail to offer beer even towards the end of the week.

Wir waren heute zum 3.x dort und es hat uns wieder gut gefallen. Diesmal waren wir mit einem großen Hund und einem Kleinkind dort. Es gab einen schönen sauberen Wickeltisch, einen Hochstuhl und unser Hund hat mehrfach Wasser bekommen. Das Team war gut gelaunt (hat man leider nicht mehr so oft), nett und zuvorkommend. Das Essen schmeckt sehr gut und hat top Qualität. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall gerne wieder.

Wir waren dort zum Sonntagsbrunch. Riesiges Buffet mit toller Speisenauswahl. Service war sehr schnell und freundlich. Super Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Went in for lunch and ordered $37 euro worth of food- paid for with a $50 and the lady working the front was very rude about me paying with cash. She said she didn’t have change…. She doesn’t have $12 euro worth of change….At lunch time. She storms off and comes back 10 minutes later with my change in small coins such as .20 and .50 cent pieces. Basically she is too lazy to do her job as she commented “it’s too much work to break a $50”. I again explained it’s just $12 worth of change. Not like I ordered $8 worth of food and gave a $50. Totally unprofessional and rude-food was mediocre-will never be back

Today we were in Frankfurt at the ASH. The food was definitely good and to the point, there's nothing wrong with it. The staff are always friendly and helpful. All in all a delicious meal. However, a bit overpriced for me. I've eaten better for the price. Still a nice alternative

Sehr laute Musik Unterhaltung am Tisch war fast nicht möglich. Service war unaufmerksam obwohl wenig Leute da waren. War früher alles deutlich besser keine Ahnung warum dieser Änderung zum schlechten. Schade !

Wir hatten Nachos mit Chili con Carne, einen ASH Tower Burger, ein Rinderhüftsteak sowie Dessert. Und alles war perfekt. Vielen Dank an das Team.

Wieder begeistert! Tolles Brunch Buffet mit sehr guter Qualität der Zutaten und reichlich Auswahl. Sehr aufmerksamer und freundlicher Service. Das einzige was mir nicht schmeckt ist der Kaffee, der Filterkaffee ist sehr dünn und der Amerikano sehr bitter. Insgesamt jedoch klasse Brunch!

We were there for brunch. The buffet is a standard buffet with US American influence. Overall it was ok but not great. The pancakes were miserable. Dry, hard and cold, definitely a convenience product. For a store that focuses on US food, it was a bit sad. The ribs were ok, as was the mac and cheese, the grilled wings were good. The cheese buffet was decent, the supposed Serrano ham was definitely not, I'm guessing a standard air-dried ham. The location is beautiful, clean and inviting. The service was nice and attentive. In my opinion, 30 euros just for food with this quality is not justified. The drinks were ok, but also at the upper limit in terms of price. A little more self-made in the kitchen would do the store more than good, it feels like the bag is torn open and the products are regenerated, you can do it, but you can also taste it and see it. There will no longer be another brunch there.

A relatively modern restaurant in the American blockhouse style with a very good open show kitchen. I've been there twice now and the food was excellent both times. The service was good but not outstanding, although we were there with a lot of people and that may have been due to this fact. The ambience was very pleasant, but relatively loud. You can sit inside and outside, the toilets are exciting.

The atmosphere is pleasant, we sat outside, the terrace is nicely designed. There is still room for improvement when eating, the meat was well fried but seasoned quite poorly, I missed the grill aroma. The sour cream was a bit like regular quark with yogurt. The aioli was very thin. The toasted bread wasn't really toasted so it was still very flabby. The vegetables were very oily and not crunchy. The best part was the sweet potato fries. I also think it's excessive to charge extra money for a little mustard that should be part of the service in a steakhouse. All in all, the furnishings, the terrace are really nice, but you shouldn't expect too much when it comes to food, which was a bit below average for us.

I found the Corona beer on tap instead of bottles to be really top class. We would be happy to come back. The entire staff was very nice and accommodating and there were always smiling faces. Food was great. Amigo had steak 400gr with veggies. Another amigo had burger and so did I. Very delicious. The guy that took our order was friendly and helped us well. There was one girl, she had Dora hairstyle, she was pissed when we didn’t tip. She grabbed the receipt and walked away angry, she had an attitude. Manager should have a proper conversation with this madam. Overall good. We spent around 125 EUR for the three of us.

Wir bestellten eine Burrata und es kamen 5 dünne Tomatenscheiben mit der Mozzarellakugel in der mitte, einige Basilikumblätter daraufgeworfen und fertig. Kein Dressing, gar nichts. Sehr traurig und für 19,90€ sehr enttäuschend das ganze. Einen Side gegrilltes Gemüse für 6,50€ bestellte ich auch. Es kam eine handvoll nicht gesalzenes Paprika-Zucchini gemisch. Das personal war sehr freundlich und die Lokation ruhig aber sehr dunkel. Ganz ehrlich, für den Preis, erwartet man schon zumindest satt zu werden! Fazit: Ich gehe nie wieder hin.

Burger und Salat waren super. Fleisch für den Preis unterdurchschnittlich. Service war sehr nett und freundlich aber etwas chaotisch. Insgesamt nette Atmosphäre.

It can be preferred to eat meat or hamburger. Close to Frankfurt centre. It has an indoor living room and garden and is large enough. The waiters are attentive and friendly. The service is very fast. We ate hamburgers. You can choose the potatoes and sauces that come with it. Especially fried sweet potatoes are delicious. No garlic mayonnaise! For those who drive or do not consume alcohol, there is a 0.0% non-alcoholic beer option. Prices are mid-range, not expensive, but worth it for the location and environment.

Everything was wonderful and the food seemed very tasty at the moment, but when 3/4 of the people came home they felt bad (nausea and severe abdominal pain). We got poisoned, and the three of us ate a «truffle burger». We suspect that the reason lies in this, since we didn't eat anything else this evening… Unfortunately, I will no longer be able to come to this beautiful restaurant and recommend it to my friends.

We went there today and were not disappointed. Nice service and delicious food! Update: been there again today. Unfortunately the waitress was slow and forgot things in the order. It was also not possible to tell anyone else because none of the waiters/waiters were in sight for minutes. I then decided to go in before my meat was completely cold - they stood gossiping at the food counter and I was rudely asked what I wanted. I could literally run after my herb butter because the waiter didn't want to hand it to me and I ran after it to the table. Not a word of apology. Another salad was still missing. We wanted another dessert. We had the card brought to us. Same game again for 5 minutes, no one to be seen on the terrace. At some point she came back and we refused the dessert and wanted to pay. What can I say, it was again characterized by waiting and patience. We are talking about an occupancy of 10 tables in the outdoor area. There were about 3 tables occupied. So there's no reason for all of this. It's a shame to have to chase after everything with a bill of 110 euros. We're giving it one last chance. If the service is that bad again, it will unfortunately be the last visit.
