The Ash Frankfurt am Main Today we had the opportunity to visit The Ash in Frankfurt am Main - and it was a thoroughly successful evening. The ambience is extremely inviting, stylishly designed and exudes a modern but cozy atmosphere. A real highlight is the direct view into the open kitchen, which makes the entire experience even more interesting. The food was of high quality and tasted very good. In terms of price, The Ash is a little higher, but overall the price-performance ratio is still good. The cleanliness is impeccable, which is of course particularly important in a restaurant. A big compliment goes to the staff: everyone was extremely friendly, attentive and made a lot of effort to make our visit as pleasant as possible. Conclusion: The Ash is definitely worth a visit - especially if you value a nice ambience, good service and delicious food. If you're willing to pay a little more, you'll get a great overall experience here.

Five of us were there last night and sat on the beautiful terrace. I would particularly like to highlight the friendly waitress who served us from start to finish. She was a very nice, attentive and entertaining woman. Exactly what you would want in a good restaurant. We had various appetizers, wine and cocktails, everything was very tasty and high quality. Unfortunately, there was a small downer: I ordered a 250g fillet medium. Unfortunately, when it was served it was less than lukewarm and completely cooked through. However, the restaurant manager reacted very kindly and immediately put a new fillet in the kitchen. This came out warm and juicy, but cooked to an “English” cooking level, so it was too raw for my taste. I brought this up again and was offered a glass of wine and an espresso on the house. I was also offered dessert, but to be honest I wasn't in the mood to continue eating. At this point I might have wished for a little more accommodation, but every restaurant has its own way of dealing with such situations. Nevertheless, the overall impression remains positive: a nice restaurant with a pleasant atmosphere and really nice service, which has unfortunately become rare these days.

We spotted Ash as we walked past and wanted to try it out. Conclusion: It remains a unique experience. Excessive prices for average quality (ordered rib-eye and t-bone). Service top (fast and courteous, 5 stars for that), music definitely too loud - you can't have a conversation, quality of food - well, the prices are exorbitant for a restaurant of this type, and the portions are clear. I got a baked papa asada the size of a large egg (and there was sour cream under the potato, the potato was spoiled inside, the dark spot was visible from the outside). Ash is a chain like Maredo or Blockhouse. (In my opinion, Maredo is better quality and cheaper). For the price we paid (rib eye, papa asada, t-bone, 2 green asparagus), I can definitely get better quality in Frankfurt.

WOW! Definitely a must go venue. Great service, great food and atmosphere. Had steak, perfectly cooked at Medium rare, great wine - Cote du Rhone.

The cheeseburger was very tasty. The Ribeye Strak was quite ok. The ambience is dark but nice. If you want to have a conversation maybe not the best location as it is already loud. But if you want to eat good burgers, definitely a recommendation. Toilets are clean.

The ASH is very stylishly decorated and the menu has something to suit every taste. The waitress was extremely friendly and the service was really good. The food also came very quickly and tasted excellent. Absolute recommendation, even with children.

I was at The Ash in Frankfurt yesterday and had a great evening! The truffle burger was simply delicious – juicy, perfectly seasoned and with an intense truffle aroma. Absolute recommendation! Special praise goes to Elhami, our waiter. He was super nice, attentive and just plain cool – so much so that I even had to ask his name! His service made the evening even better. Definitely a restaurant I can recommend. I'd love to come back!

Huge store with good cuisine. The service seems a bit overloaded when the place is really full. Nevertheless, we were served quite quickly and were very satisfied. If you want to come at peak times, I recommend making a reservation.

It was my first time there. The food was absolutely delicious. The beef ribs were particularly amazing; the meat was so tender it literally fell off the bone.

Really modern but cozy concept of a restaurant. Service on point and food excellent. Only short waiting until food arrives. Parking at parking garage straight across (Trianon) from the place.

Well, what can I say... The service and the food don't even remotely live up to the presentation and the "fuss" (more on that later). We arrived unannounced and were given an hour. "After all, we didn't have a reservation." After we were seated, we were impressed by the ambiance. The service staff were visibly stressed, divided, and overscheduled. Many meals waited forever at the counter or were delivered incorrectly. About the food: The hamburger was great. But that's it because: The fries were almost cold and tasted of nothing. The curly fries were bland, and the chicken burger was the crowning glory. Serving something like that to a guest was so dry that it was almost dusty and tasted more like a ready-made schnitzel that had been left in the fryer for a second time too long. The Spezi and Sprite were good. To charge around €51 for that is shameful.

Absolute recommendation! Especially the Teres Major, just great!

The food was good, the service Bad, impolite behavior of the manager, the waiters were nice, bar is very noisy and it is not possible to converse in the restaurant, the DJ is terrible only screaming.

In the Bar section there was loud and bad music either a terrible DJ….the loud music reached the restaurant section and we asked a miss to move outside and she allowed….then a very impolite woman came outside screaming that we couldn’t stay there and when we said we asked for permission she said the girl before was a nobody and she was the “boss” there…..do not waste your time going there…Frankfurt has much better options….

It was my second time there, and unfortunately, the food arrived cold again. Both a burger and pasta were barely warm. We were there in the evening, just before the kitchen closed. Since The Ash has an open kitchen, we could watch the kitchen being cleaned, grease dripping from the ceiling, and so on while we ate. It wasn't very appetizing. Unfortunately, it also took away our hunger. Perhaps they should think about something else.

The service was quick and extremely friendly. Our food was served quickly and was simply fantastic. The chimichurri sauce is a highlight. The ambience of the restaurant is stylish. I can only recommend the restaurant.

Worst shop ever in Frankfurt, been there several times but never again, waited an hour for the food which in the end wasn't even warm, waiters too rude and think they know everything better, they give you a lecture about why it is like that instead of solving the problem.. you pay so much money for a cold meal that didn't even taste good, plus the waiting time of about 1.5 hours (with order)..

We have visited ASH for corporate lunch. We opted for burgers but the meat was quite dry and didn't meet our price - quality ratio expectations. As the atmosphere is nice and the service is attentive, we might give it another chance in the future.

My friends and I had dinner here this evening and it was a real highlight! The restaurant is very tastefully decorated and we liked the music. We immediately felt welcome when our waiter Elhami gave us a warm welcome. The food is also very good, we particularly liked the vegetarian alternatives.

Found myself stuck in Frankfurt on Valentine’s Day—one of the busiest nights for restaurants—and decided to try The Ash for a steak. Despite the place being packed, the staff were incredibly friendly and managed to seat me in no time. Service was truly impressive, especially given the circumstances. Everything ran smoothly, and the team remained attentive and professional throughout. The food was just as great as the experience, making the evening much better than expected. Highly recommend The Ash Frankfurt—not just for the food but for the outstanding service, even on a fully booked night!

A steakhouse in a class of its own – with first-class service! My visit to The Ash was a real highlight! The quality of the steaks is excellent, perfectly prepared and cooked to perfection. The side dishes and drinks also leave nothing to be desired. The atmosphere is modern, cozy and invites you to linger. I would particularly like to highlight the service from waiter Yassin. He was extremely attentive, friendly and professional. Thanks to his recommendation, we chose exactly the right dishes, and he made the evening even more enjoyable with his excellent service. An all-round successful visit – I’ll definitely be back!

The food tastes good, but you could eat much better for the price category. Why is it asked when making a reservation whether there is a special occasion such as a birthday if in the end nothing is done anyway?

We were there on Valentine's Day with a group of 20 people. We had pre-ordered a menu where everyone could choose their own main course and dessert. The appetizers came to the tables to be shared. Despite the large group, the food came to the tables in perfect condition; Hot, above all very tasty and perfect timing. In addition, the service was also good. We say thank you very much for a successful evening and see you next time :-)

We ate there because there is such a hype about this place. The ambience was average. The waitress was nice. The starter was served after a very long wait, immediately afterwards the next waiter came with the main course, which was averted by our main waitress. We hadn't finished the starter yet when she announced the main course. Then I told her I hoped she didn't bring the food that had been in the kitchen for 20 minutes. Of course she then waited a few minutes and served the food that had been in the kitchen for 30 minutes. This was very clearly visible in the solid sauces. A no go in this price range.

On Valentine's Day the atmosphere is particularly beautiful with lots of heart balloons and great music. The staff is very friendly and in a good mood. It's best to make a reservation to get good seats :) you didn't have to wait long for the food to be ready and it was super tasty!

I was there with my fiancé yesterday on Valentine's Day and had a bad experience at the reception. My fiancé was beamed at and greeted by the girl at the reception and I was completely ignored. Then I say my name (female) she says "Marco?" I confused again my name she "Christian?" my answer was "do I look like a Christian?".. then it turned out that our reservation was simply canceled?! We still got a table and had a nice end to the evening, but the reception was very unprofessional and insensitive. To eat: I had the cannelloni with ricotta, spinach and tomatoes but it should have been called spinach with ricotta, cannelloni and tomatoes... my plate only consisted of spinach and charging €20 for that is extortionate. The meat was very good, the atmosphere was very nice except that the toilets (male/female) were in the same room. We won't come again.

Really great evening, everything was great in this restaurant. The food was great and the service was super accommodating, especially Mr. Elhami.

Food was good - but not very unusual for the price

Celebrated my birthday at ASH and had such a great time! The food was great and the waiter took really good care of my friends and I. The staff at the entrance also made sure to welcome us warmly and wished me a happy birthday. The whole evening felt very special and catered to - we'll come again!

Went there today for brunch on a recommendation with friends, we felt very comfortable, the buffet was plentiful, especially the rolls were very good, if there is anything to complain about then it was the coffee, on the one hand it was very strong and very different in temperature, we also told the friendly service and we were probably not the only ones on the subject. By the way, we sat on very comfortable chairs near the open kitchen, after the end of brunch time the first burgers came out of the kitchen, which looked very tasty, a reason to come back.....

Buffet is very tasty and there is enough choice of food. I can only recommend it.

We were there with a group of 32 people - the reservation was for 20, we were expecting 25. It worked without any problems on site to add more tables. Thanks to Elhami for the problem-free, fast and good service! I don't think anyone had to wait long for drinks and refills. The food was solid, as you would expect in a steak/burger bar. There is a star deduction for the "Group Relations Management", which can only be contacted by email - but without that you cannot make a reservation for a group. Some things can be discussed more quickly through direct communication on the phone. To be fair, we had some "requirements" that changed at short notice -- until the end :-) Elhami fixed it.

Service and food (burgers) were top. Greetings to Elhami ;)... The espresso at the end was unfortunately quite watery and came without pastries or water, which was quite disappointing for the high prices... And to be honest, for a dollop of standard ketchup/mayo it was an extra €2 I also find it somehow dishonorable to add to the bill. Still 4 out of 5 stars.

Good shop - and Elhami (work on your handwriting, I'll do anything for your bet here brother!!) served us great! I've been to Ash a few times, including at different locations - and the food is always great. Steak, burgers and especially brunch are always a recommendation! There is a deduction because we had to wait over an hour for our water - that could be better.

My girlfriend and I went there for my birthday. We were really VERY well served from start to finish. The man from Bulgaria (unfortunately I don't know his name), a really nice waiter/employee and gave us a very great stay. The food, ambience and service are simply top. My girlfriend and I were extremely satisfied and can only recommend it!

Amazing. Nothing else to say! Food was delicious, staff was friendly and atmosphere was incredible. It’s pricey but worth it.

Business dinner with a larger group. Have driven past many times, surprisingly large store and really good steakhouse! Clearly at the top end of the price chain.

We had a great waiter (Jami) who provided excellent service. It was a shame that there were no “ladies/senior” portions. That would be great to be more flexible here. But overall great!

The restaurant has a great ambience, cool leather chairs, massive wooden tables and dimmed lighting are really successful and match the steakhouse feeling. You feel comfortable and it's a more upscale atmosphere. Unfortunately, the food only partially lived up to this ambience. For starters we had fried king prawns. These came in a small pan, they were delicious and the aioli and bread served with it (which was briefly grilled on the grill) were also great. More importantly, the steaks... Unfortunately, they were a disappointment, the desired cooking level was unfortunately exceeded and that was the case with all 4 steaks (3 medium well & 1 medium rare). But the steaks were more like 3 times through and once medium well, a shame. And unfortunately there were very large fat edges on 2 of the steaks. The side dishes of cole slaw and baked potato were really good and the herb butter was also okay. Grilled vegetables and rosemary potatoes weren't that good. The vegetables were swimming in oil and the rosemary potatoes were very dry. The drinks, on the other hand, were good and you can also enjoy cocktails here without hesitation. The service was fine, the waiter was attentive and took good care of our table. The usher must be highlighted; he was very friendly, had a friendly manner and made you feel at home straight away. When we paid it got weird again, we wanted to pay in cash, but the waiter still gave us the EC device to give us a tip??? Why? Here you could choose between 10% / 15% / 20% and other amounts. But why if I pay cash? I get a bill and say how much I should tip. Unfortunately, because the system could not be recognized, too many tips were given. CONCLUSION: A nice restaurant but unfortunately far too overpriced for the quality on offer. Unfortunately, you can tell that this is system catering and not a "real steakhouse"

I am very disappointed. We had to wait over 2 hours for our food, some things were forgotten and people who came after us got their food earlier. The food was okay, dessert was very tasty. However, the quantity is a bit small. Price-performance ratio was not justified. A friend ordered a cocktail, small glass, huge block of ice and little liquid. Service should have been more accommodating.

We had a great evening with friends at ASH. From the welcome to the service at the table, just top. Here the employees really enjoy their job and understand hospitality. Food also top. We had a small dog with us who was greeted very enthusiastically and was also warmly welcomed. Please keep it up, we'll definitely be back. Thank you ❤️

I always enjoy coming here to eat. I like the dark wooden furniture and the height of the room. A great atmosphere. I was impressed that Sabrina from the service team remembered my favorite drinks and dishes so quickly. So all I have to do is nod that I want to order “the usual”. Always a pleasure.

More appearance than reality. Unfortunately a drink was forgotten and none of the dishes were cooked to the correct level (well done instead of medium rare), which is really sad for a steakhouse. The dishes were only lukewarm, the starter was more cold than warm. That was already the second chance with a larger gap, unfortunately we won't be able to come back.

The waiter was overwhelmed, waited half an hour for our drinks, and then another 2 hours for our food. Tables that arrived after us received food before us.

The food is super delicious. The one star deduction is only because the fries are soggy every time. Service and price/performance is great. Big compliments to Elhami. Always nice and relaxed. The point is deducted from the ambience because it is unfortunately very loud at times. Otherwise you can really recommend the store.

What can you say, it's The Ash. This is system catering at its best. Anyone who expects individuality and a unique menu here is wrong. But what the Ash does, it does well. The rump steak was on point. The veggie dishes were also impressive. Service was good and friendly, special praise to our waiter Elhami, who accompanied us through the evening.

Beautiful place, very good services, central location and delicious meal with a wide range of variety. Was a good option for a official dinner with colleagues at work.

Wir hatten einen wirklich schönen Abend im Ash in Frankfurt! Das Essen war super lecker, besonders das Steak – perfekt zubereitet. Der Service war freundlich und aufmerksam, und die Atmosphäre einfach toll. Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt und kommen gerne wieder.

Vorspeise kalt (sollte warm sein), Hauptgerichte beide in der falschen Garstufe (als Steakhouse?), zweites Getränk komplett vergessen, Kellner genervt, wenn man ihn darauf hinweist.. schade. Das war bereits der zweite und,sorry, letzte Versuch.

Gute Lage, gute Speisenqualität, exzellenter Service. IDie Preis-Leistung der Lunch-Karte ist gut. Habe mich sehr wohl gefühlt und gut gegessen.

After seeing the musical "Grease" at the Alte Oper, we wanted to eat American food in keeping with the theme and therefore try out The Ash. Overall, it was a very successful project, the food (spare ribs and burgers with sweet potato fries) was extremely tasty. At the same time, we had a very attentive and humorous waiter, Elhami. A lovely evening, gladly again!

Service unkoordniert, Getränke kamen erst kurz vor der Vorspeise, ein Teil der Vorspeise vergessen, kam nach Erinnerung, währenddessen wurde bereits bei den anderen Personen am Tisch abgeräumt. Veganes Steak zäh wie eine Schuhsohle, Gemüsebeilage hauptsächlich Zwiebeln und Paprika. Sauce aus der Packung. Die Fleischesser fanden ihren Burger und ihre Ribs sehr gut, daher fürs Essen noch 3 Sterne. Ich persönlich würde dort nicht nochmal essen, gibt so viele bessere Restaurants in Frankfurt mit vegan-vegetarischen Optionen und besserem Service. Das Personal rannte mehrfach auch an den anderen Tischen vorbei, ohne auf das schmutzige Geschirr oder die leeren Getränkegläser zu achten. Insgesamt wirkte das Personal in der offenen Küche und im Service unmotiviert. Mit Trinkgeld 220€ bei 3 Personen, da stimmt das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis nicht. Aber vielleicht hatten alle auch nur einen schlechten Tag und diese Erfahrung war eine Ausnahme. Wie auch immer, ich werde es jedenfalls nicht herausfinden, da es hier mein erster und letzter Besuch war.

Toller Service, gutes Essen mit angemessenen Preisen. Die Ciabatta und Garnelen bei der Vorspeise waren sehr lecker, das Brot perfekt gegrillt und der Lachs im Hauptgang hatte schön knusprige Haut. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder um mehr von der Karte ausprobieren zu können!

Unfortunately the food was terrible! Despite the restaurant being empty, we had to wait an hour for service and then another hour for food and then wait forever to pay! You get better food in a train station snack bar. Super disappointing for the price! It's a shame, because the ambience itself would be nice - the food would at least taste "somewhat". Unfortunately never again
