We all went to Ash together tonight, and the evening started off really well. The appetizers that were recommended to us were incredibly delicious, and the house wine was surprisingly good. We did have to wait a little longer for the steaks, and for a moment we thought, "Hmm, maybe we should have ordered burgers," but in the end, the steaks were absolutely fantastic and totally worth it. Ali, our waiter, was really great. He was incredibly friendly, attentive, and kept us in good spirits, I have to say. For dessert, we had apple crumble – absolutely delicious. We'll definitely be back.

We went to The Ash for Sunday brunch last Sunday. We were greeted very warmly and in good spirits by the staff and shown to our reserved table. The friendly server immediately asked if it was our first visit and explained everything we needed to know. Our drink order was taken and brought quite quickly. Unfortunately, our latte macchiato was only lukewarm, but it tasted good, and they even accommodated our request for oat milk. The buffet is well-organized, with something for everyone. I didn't notice a selection of vegan dishes. One small point to note: some of the hot dishes were also only lukewarm. The exceptionally friendly staff deserves special mention. After eating, we sat at the table for a while and chatted. At no point did we feel like they were trying to charge us so they could reassign the table. A lovely Sunday morning; we'll definitely be back.

We went to the restaurant yesterday and were very disappointed. Although we arrived only 15 minutes before our reservation, the woman at the entrance tried to turn us away – even though there were plenty of free tables. Several guests without reservations arrived after us and were seated immediately. In the end, we were seated right next to the exit door, where it was drafty. No friendly welcome and, despite our reservation, an uncomfortable spot – a real shame, we had imagined our evening there would be different.

Unfortunately, the food at the brunch buffet was an absolute disaster for the price. Everything that was supposed to be hot was cold, and vice versa. Furthermore, you could clearly taste and see that the food served was not high-quality, but mostly cheap convenience food. On top of that, items (e.g., rolls, fruit, plates) at the buffet were often empty and didn't take ages to refill. Unfortunately, the service was also so-so; you had to wait a very long time before being served... Overall, the experience for €30 (!) per person was more than sobering, and we won't be coming back. A real shame!

We were there for brunch today starting at 10:45 a.m. Brunch officially runs from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. When we arrived, the buffet was practically empty. Instead of mac and cheese, there was a portion of spaghetti with cheese, and then just pasta with tomato sauce. The meat, like everything else, was barely replenished. Absolutely ridiculous for €30.

Today was my first time there for the American buffet, and it was fantastic! The staff was super friendly and accommodating. Plenty of food, fresh and hot. The incredible selection definitely justifies the price! We'd love to come back.

You should definitely pay attention to your receipt here. In our case, we were charged for drinks we didn't even order – including a Caipirinha instead of a Fanta. This quickly added up to €7 too much. A friend was also charged for a dessert she didn't eat and said it was €9 too much. Unfortunately, we didn't get an apology from the waiter, but at least we got our money back. I also think it's a shame that I told the waiter I had a burger and a Fanta and he still charged me for the Caipirinha. Without the receipt, we wouldn't have noticed why a burger with Fanta should cost almost €32. It's also noticeable that there is no drinks menu online – a 0.5 l of Fanta costs €6 here.
