The service was great. The menu was okay. The ambiance is very nice. It's worth checking out, but we wouldn't book it again. For the price, we expected a bit more.

It's absolutely not worth the money. The "special experience" consists of four or five one-minute clips projected onto the table. That's it for entertainment. In between, there's a long wait, no atmosphere, not even proper music. The atmosphere is terribly stagnant. The food is okay, but you can get better for less money in a more lively restaurant.

Incredibly small portions. We knew what to expect and that it was a multi-course meal, but the size of the portions was still unacceptable. I was just as hungry afterward as before. Basically, you're only paying for the show, from which I expected more.

We're repeat customers, but this time we were a bit disappointed. The food was good, no doubt, but it wasn't the flavor explosion we experienced last time. The video sequences, and therefore the story behind the menu, were also very short, simply no comparison. In our opinion, the Magical Cooking Book doesn't offer good value for money. A real shame.

I visited Le Petit Chef in Frankfurt with my 10-year-old nephew and we were both absolutely thrilled! The show was simply great: creative, entertaining and perfectly staged. The food was also excellent, and the accompanying wines complemented each course wonderfully. A truly wonderful experience for children and adults alike – highly recommended!

It was a pleasant experience, the overall concept appealing. However, the show sequences were very few and short. For the price, one would have expected more. The food was very appetizing, but the fish was significantly overcooked. This shouldn't have happened given the overall quality. The ambiance was cozy, though a bit dark after a while, which is necessary for the show. We had a nice, private alcove for four people; in the large hall with several tables of six, it was quite noisy just passing by. In summary, a memorable dining experience.

The location is great. The show was really cool. The food was absolutely delicious. The service was top-notch. Two and a half hours seemed like a long time, but with pleasant conversation, even before the service was finished and a bathroom break, everything was perfectly coordinated.

After Marco Polo, the show was the weakest. The magic theme was only a rudimentary foundation for the show, which is a shame. —————— We've been to all previous le Petit Chef shows here since 2020, and every one has been a highlight! We always love coming back!

One thing to note: if you're wondering why there are so few negative reviews here, Le Petit Chef takes strict action against negative reviews, so almost all of them are deleted. However, I was able to document my experience in writing and with photos... Unfortunately, our visit wasn't so positive...it was incredibly hot in the restaurant because there were massive technical problems that couldn't be fixed...extremely unpleasant. All I can say about the food is that the first course was okay, although I didn't quite understand the tough piece of ham. The second course was the highlight, so it definitely deserves a star. The third course, the meat was okay, but unfortunately rather overcooked...the side dishes were incredibly odd, especially the breaded potatoes...really not tasty. The vegetarian version of the third course was an absolute joke...steamed vegetables...that was it. The fourth dessert was okay. I also had the wine pairing, although I found the two wines for the second and third courses absolutely terrible...the white wine was incredibly boring...the red wine felt like it was off...the wine for dessert was an ice wine, quite interesting. Service was quite good...hence another star. The "show" with the projectors is definitely something special and worth seeing, but the food overall was rather lackluster that day for the price.

I just thought it was a shame that there was no option for older children to get a children's menu. So my daughter ate almost nothing... Overall, though, it was a nice experience.

You simply have to experience it once, because it's quite entertaining. You can recommend it to others, but going back again isn't that interesting. After all, the price for this menu is quite high and not really appropriate. All in all, a nice, enjoyable evening.

Everything was fantastic. The wine pairing went very well with the food. Unfortunately, there was just one thing: for us (2 chapters), the show was suspended, and we couldn't watch it. What a shame. The petit chef's French accent sounded very exaggerated.

The show and ambiance were good, the service was pleasant, but could have been a bit more professional (the wine pairing was mixed up, the new colleague wasn't well-trained). The food was very tasty and well-prepared, but for the price, I would have expected a bit more refinement. Some of the dishes seemed unfinished, as if something was missing, and simply lacked a bit of finesse. With a five-course menu for €100, an amuse-bouche and a petit four are only available via the deluxe option, which costs an additional €40. I also find it a bit of a shame, and I don't see the value for money either. Afterward, we wanted to have a digestif at the bar, which is open until 11 p.m., but a restaurant employee told us at 8:50 p.m. that they were sold out. The service management had previously given us different information.

We went to the Sorcerer's Apprentice menu at Le Petit in Frankfurt. Overall, we were satisfied. The service was great. The ambiance seemed very appropriate, and the show was beautiful. I called the restaurant in advance to request bacon. They told me they didn't serve pork. I was surprised, as it was mentioned on the menu. But if an employee says so, I'll accept it. As expected, the dish was served with bacon, but they changed it for us without any problems. Everything tasted really good. However, it comes at a price, we thought, and we were especially excited about the main course. Unfortunately, it was very disappointing. The portions of the beef fillet varied greatly! While my husband received only a very small piece (about the diameter of an egg), our table neighbor received a significantly larger piece, at least twice the size. With a four-course meal, you can expect a certain degree of consistency in the main course. I think this usually plays a big role in the price. Even though it was an experience and nice in itself, we wouldn't want to visit it again for that price.

Nice to be there :) It was our wedding day, the service was a bit sloppy, but they really organized everything perfectly. Since we're relaxed, we took it easy, but in the end, someone else's dessert arrived with a candle, and many little things were smudged. As I said, the wait staff were working their magic, the food was really good (if you're a picky eater, you might find the heat a little off)-> but WE were satisfied... As beautiful and creative as it was.... The price for it today was definitely borderline! €300 for 2 meals (small portion NOT FOR MEN) + wine (5 glasses [small]), water, and 2 non-alcoholic beers is a bit of a stretch. BUT, as I said, the service was great and NICE TO SEE 🥰

The show's execution is precise and perfectly coordinated with the service, which was also very attentive and friendly. I was pleasantly surprised by the food: each course was finely balanced in flavor and beautifully presented. I particularly liked how the visual experience harmonizes with the menu. The only downside: the price. You pay a lot for the whole package.

The Le Petit Chef event was a fantastic experience. The food was good, but the main course, beef fillet, was almost raw and cold. The roast beef was a bit tough. We loved the opportunity to create our own dessert. We found the price for the menu a bit high. The Pinot Gris was at a good temperature, and the price is reasonable for the setting.

Unfortunately, I was very disappointed. I had been wanting to visit a Le Petit Chef for so long, and finally, for my birthday in June, my boyfriend invited me and my children to dinner at Le Petit Chef in Frankfurt, and then it was ruined by such unacceptable service. We ordered an adult menu for one of my children, so we had two meat menus, one children's menu, and one vegetarian menu. 1. The service couldn't handle the fact that my son wasn't getting a children's menu, and we had to correct each course, resulting in an unnecessarily long wait, as my son always got his menu last, instead of my partner's. 2. By last, I mean after all the tables in the two rooms had been served with food. The food arrived as follows: first all the children's menus (estimated at around 40 tables in the rooms), then the vegetarian menu, then the meat menu. I also worked in the hospitality industry, and at our standard restaurant, it was a given that everyone at the table received their plate and could start eating at the same time. 3. During our entire stay we were not asked once if we wanted a drink, our glasses were mostly empty and we had to really try to get someone to bring us a drink, which we managed three times. 4. The waitress asked my boyfriend how he liked it. He said "great." She smiled friendly and said that didn't sound very convincing, to which he replied "that he didn't like it." She reacted offended, cleared our plates energetically and we didn't see her again that evening. I also found it interesting that he was the only one asked. 5. And that is an absolute "no go" and actually, looking back, I should have left the evening at that point. My veg. The course was accidentally placed on the next table, where it remained for at least 5 or even 10 minutes. When the meat course was served, it was noticed, but no problem at all. The waitress simply corrected her mistake and placed the vegetable plate in front of me. I hadn't noticed beforehand whether the man had already used his fork to eat my food or something similar. Since they were well-groomed people and I didn't want to ruin the evening completely, I overlooked it, especially since I hadn't trusted the service to give me a new plate, even if I asked for one, but would rather get the same one again... How could I have controlled it? The return came the very next morning: stomach problems and a bad cold. We were the very last to pay, even though we had children with us on a Sunday. And my boyfriend paid over €400 for this experience. That's very sad.

Culinary-wise, the evening was a complete success: Each course was skillfully prepared, perfectly presented, and a taste sensation. We would particularly like to emphasize the fresh quality of the ingredients and the harmonious flavors. The service was also excellent – ​​attentive, friendly, and always striving to ensure our complete satisfaction. Overall, it was an exceptional dining experience for us, one that goes far beyond a traditional restaurant. We highly recommend Le Petit Chef to anyone who not only wants excellent food but also wants to experience a unique culinary adventure.

A major criticism is that some of the drinks advertised on the menu were out of stock. That shouldn't happen. Personally, I also think that a 0.7-liter bottle of water shouldn't cost €10.50.
