It was a really great evening with very friendly and attentive staff. The show was enchanting. However, the 3D elements on the table were kind of useless and not very integrated into the show. They didn't have to. They should be included more or left out. But that didn't spoil the whole thing. It was a fantastic experience.

It was a very nice experience and the animation process. Unfortunately, service staff were not always available if, for example, you had questions about the wine or food afterwards. When the service staff were there, they were very accommodating.

The food, service and the show were great. Next to us there was a very amateurishly designed partition wall, there was a flap open on the ceiling with a view of the cables, the toilet wasn't very clean - I think that's a bit of a shame considering the price.

The food was very tasty and the service was pleasant. Unfortunately, the Petit Chef was sometimes difficult to understand. Otherwise a wonderful, unforgettable evening.

We had a lovely time and every course was served with love. The taste was great.😍We (two people) would have wished that we had had a table for ourselves, as the visit was supposed to be something very special for us (also in terms of price). Unfortunately, we were seated at a table of four with a strange couple, even though the tables around us were empty all evening.

Lovely experience. My first experience was in Dubai and when I moved to Germany I found they have one in Frankfurt, not as nice as Dubai yet one of the best experiences versus others in Frankfurt.

Great atmosphere and a great evening. Food was absolutely top! The only thing I found astonishing was that a waiter called me about half an hour after our visit and said that about €50 was missing. There would be four of us at the table and it would be counted twice on site. I find it a bit suspicious. I also work part-time in the catering industry. Counting takes place at the table! This must not happen!

It was a very nice experience. Once again. The final dessert PLUS shouldn't have been there as it couldn't maintain the quality of the menu.

Not only was the service super nice and the experience as if your little boss was cooking for you, but the food was also of great quality. The story behind it thrilled and touched us all. I booked the experience because I love good food and like trying new things. It was fun and exciting, especially for my son. Almost everything about the food was great too. The only thing we didn't like at all was the peeled tomato at the beginning. The service was a bit slow when it came to drinks. I think that's unreasonable given the price, which is already quite high. Therefore only 4 stars.

The location was unique, really beautiful. The food was very good, the image projection was a bit blurry on a plate. And the alcoholic drinks were relatively expensive - 0.1l of red wine for €13.50. The staff was very friendly.

We have already seen a Le Petit Chef show, where 3D elements were also used and the ambience was very nice. But we would particularly like to emphasize the excellent service!!! Outstanding performance. The quality of the food (we had the premium package) was great, but the sweet finish (petit four) after the self-created dessert (a highlight) wasn't necessarily our cup of tea. But overall a great experience! You have to experience it once.

Yesterday we went to Le Petit Chef as a family and were unfortunately very disappointed. The animations were fun, but the food and service left a lot to be desired and didn't justify the price. My husband's jamon was missing from his starter. We were forgotten about the second course and had to go and ask while all the other guests around us had been eating for a while. The ravioli finally arrived, but was only lukewarm at best. The fries for the children's main course were also only served lukewarm, and the chicken breast tasted like standard nuggets. Our beef fillet was too well done and a bit dry. Our empty wine glasses were also constantly forgotten to be cleared away, even though the next ones were already filled. We wouldn't go there again. Addendum 2024: For the second time, Le Petit Chef is trying to have my review deleted by Google! Every time during the summer holidays, so that the objection will hopefully slip through. If they would rather put the effort into improving service and quality instead, there would be less to complain about ;-) Addendum 2025: For the third time, Le Petit Chef is trying to have my review deleted by Google! Please invest your time in improving the quality and service - thank you!!!

I have reserved one table per phone. We made our dinner plan all day. They simply forgot my reservation and didn't give me a table. I was with my guests, they are always happy with my performance, but this evening they are very disappointed.

First we were tastefully surprised with the daily recommendation of the aperitif and a greeting from the kitchen. After a short introduction and history of the food, we started with the first course. All courses really tasted excellent and were very nicely presented. The bartender responded passionately to spontaneous requests for drinks. The service was very knowledgeable and very friendly. The ambience made a social impression due to the communal setting, but you were still very much on your own at the tables and could enjoy everything in peace. There was also enough time between courses to enjoy the food. All in all a very positive experience

I was at Le Petit Chef in Frankfurt this evening with my friend and it was a successful evening from start to finish. We were welcomed very friendly and brought to the table and the first small starter and an aperitif came straight away. We had the premium menu (7 courses) and everything was excellent. Besides, we were really entertained by the insterlation and the story behind each menu. We also received several recommendations from the waiters for other drinks. All in all, you can simply say: a successful evening that is worth it, whether with friends, family or colleagues. Thank you for this really nice evening!

Still absolutely shocked. Was supposed to be a belated Christmas present for my husband and I. What remained? Pure disappointment. We selected the premium menu, which already costs €159.00 per person. What wasn't clear, however, was that drinks were charged extra and were not included in the price of the menu. The food and the performance were 0.0 worth the price. The transmission was reminiscent of an overhead projector performance from the year 2000. Blurry and flickering. A final bill totaling around €450 ruined our evening completely.

There were four of us there and we enjoyed a really nice show. The food was really tasty and very nicely prepared. If you are looking for a special culinary experience, you have come to the right place.

Unfortunately, I can't understand the good recessions or we simply had a bad week. First of all, the good: The service staff is very nice and accommodating. The show was also very well designed. Now the not so good thing...: 1. the long waiting time before and during the meal. 2. quite careless presentation... something special was completely missing and the individual components were often repeated. 3. Some of the food was only lukewarm. 4. The cleanliness, especially in the toilets, leaves a lot to be desired. 5. The price-performance. 6. The constant stream of music that keeps you at 3 hours!!!! really drives you crazy. Conclusion: I really expected more for the price. It's a shame, because the concept itself is good, but could be improved.

It was a really great experience, the food was great and the service was also very friendly. The criticism: At the beginning we had to wait a long time until we were seated. We were told to arrive 15 minutes in advance so that we could start on time, but we were only seated half an hour later. This definitely needs to be improved. In addition, the plates were smeared and not very clean and the entertainment ended too early. Unfortunately we didn't have any welcome drinks even though we got there early enough. Otherwise it was a great evening.

A great evening spent with my sister and mother. The food was just great and the show was just beautiful. It's definitely not the last time I've been to the world's smallest chef!! Si estás buscando una experiencia gastronómica de cuatro horas que te haga cuestionarte tus opciones de vida, ¡este es el lugar para ti! Déjame pintar el cuadro: Llegamos llenos de expectación y nos fuimos... bueno, solo llenos de frustración (y una hamburguesa McDonald’s). El concepto es encantador: un chef virtual en miniatura que prepara platos frente a ti usando animaciones caprichosas. Pero esta es la ironía: ¿ese pequeño tipo digital? Termina su cocina más rápido que el personal de cocina real. La comida duró CUATRO horas. Sí, cuatro. Son dos películas de Los Vengadores o suficiente tiempo para darse un atracón: ver media temporada de su programa favorito. ¿Y qué obtuvimos por todo ese tiempo? Una serie de platos servidos a un ritmo que haría que un caracol pareciera Usain Bolt. Ahora, hablemos del verdadero punto culminante de Le Petit Chef: su ubicación. Verás, a un corto paseo de 2 minutos, hay un McDonald’s. Después de pasar lo que se sentía como una eternidad esperando el postre, hicimos una rápida carrera a McD’s para satisfacer nuestro hambre y, francamente, nuestra cordura. En resumen: • ¿Comida? Decente, cuando finalmente llegue. • ¿Ambiente? Lindo concepto, aunque el chef de tu plato está trabajando horas extras. • Speed? Glacial. • ¿Mejor parte? Sabiendo que McDo está a pocos pasos. ¿Lo recomendaría? Solo si tienes un sólido cuatro horas para matar y un plan de respaldo para comida real después. De lo contrario, salta el juego de espera y deja que Ronald McDonald salve el día.

Had to wait 25 minutes in an anteroom. The welcome Prosecco had run out and even when we asked, there was no more. Food wasn't served nicely and looked wasted for the price. Quite disappointed.

Delicious food, great animation show, pleasant service

We had high expectations for Le Petit Chef in Frankfurt, but unfortunately, the experience fell far short. The food was bland, dull, and completely uninspired—definitely not what you’d expect for the price. The “show” felt overly childish, and while the restaurant itself was nicely decorated, it couldn’t make up for the lackluster meal. We pre-booked the experience with a wine pairing (which costs extra), but the staff didn’t even acknowledge it until we asked—after our second course! The wines were unimpressive, and the pairing felt poorly planned, more like an afterthought than a curated experience. The service was disorganized, likely due to being short-staffed, and the whole evening felt chaotic. At one point, it felt like we were eating ketchup —definitely not fine dining. And a tip for you : when you offer customers steak, you usually need to ask them how they would like it done! Overall, it was a waste of time and money. If you’re aiming to be a fine dining restaurant, you need a proper chef and better execution. Avoid this one.

We spontaneously got a table for two there on New Year's Day, as it is a small shop we were lucky. The staff was extremely friendly and it was easy to talk to them. I can only recommend it to anyone looking for a delicious breakfast!

The reception was fine, but we had to wait in a dark, uncomfortable anteroom because the tables were still occupied. The room was full with at least 25 guests, but there were only about 10 seats. At 8 p.m., the scheduled start time, we were brought to the tables. The ambience was okay in the dark, but the furniture was pretty worn and some of the stone walls were missing stones, which didn't look nice. We had to wait at least 20 minutes for it to start and had to ask for a drink menu. At first they said there wasn't one, but then we got one. The waitresses were friendly, but no one really cared about us. The performance was nice to see, but I imagined it to be more interactive. I would also have expected the food to be served immediately after the performance, but that wasn't the case for any course. Particularly disappointing was the supposed “caviar”, which was just salmon caviar, and the veal, which was unfortunately dry. The roast beef was good, and the dessert was best because you could decorate the ice cream with your own toppings. Overall, the price-performance ratio is not right here. We wouldn't come back and wouldn't recommend it for the price.

Wir waren als Paar zum Dinner im le Petit Chef in Frankfurt und ich muss sagen ich bin wirklich extrem enttäuscht. Das war die wohl schlechteste Dinner experience die ich jemals hatte. Man wurde ungefragt als Paar an einen 6er Tisch mit anderen Personen gesetzt und musste dort den Abend mit uns fremden Personen verbringen. Die Getränke kamen erst nach dem 2ten Gang, nachdem wir jeden anwesenden Kellner mindestens 2 mal drauf hingewiesen haben, sprich 45 min später. Das Essen an sich hatte wenig mit fine dining zu tun, sondern im Gegenteil war eher vergleichbar mit schlechtem Kantinenessen. Die Gerichte waren ungewürzt, lauwarm und das Rinderfilet war zäh und durch, von Medium oder Medium rare hat man in diesem Laden anscheinend noch nichts gehört. Die Show an sich war absolut nervig und ist eher etwas für Kinder. Insgesamt haben wir den ganzen Abend nur darauf gewartet, dass das Essen endlich vorbei ist und wir nach Hause gehen können. Preis Leistung stimmt hier absolut nicht und ich würde niemanden der auch nur ein wenig Erfahrung mit gutem Essen hat empfehlen diesen Laden zu betreten.

Wir sind am 2. Weihnachtsfeiertag als Familie mit 4 Personen angereist in die vielversprechende Location "Steigenberger Frankfurter Hof" mit der Erwartung einen vielversprechenden, unterhaltsamen Abend mit leckerem Essen zu geniessen. In den ehemaligen Katakomben des altehrwürdigen Hotels wurde mit viel Umbau eine gemütliche, jedoch verzweigte Location mit vielen Stufen und Absätzen geschaffen. Die Orientierung für mögliche Fluchtwege fällt sehr schwer, da die Räume insgesamt nur schwach beleuchtet sind und man die Pläne kaum lesen kann. Wir hatten einen 4-er Tisch gebucht und wurden ungefragt und nicht veränderbar an einen 6-erTisch gesetzt. Die 3D-Show war unterhaltsam, die Micky Maus Stimme mit nachgemachtem französichen Akzent von le petit Chef nervte jedoch bereits nach kurzer Zeit. Die geschälte geschmacklose Tomate mit Mozzarella und Pesto Sauce als Starter überzeugte nicht. Die übrigen Gänge (Jakobsmuschel zu kalt, Maispoularde zu trocken und lauwarm, Rinderfilet fast kalt, 1 Röschen Blumenkohl roh, Dessert lieblos und zu wenig für 4 Personen, Kuchen ok) waren kleinste Portionen und kamen ohne Ausnahme lauwarm bis kalt und ungewürzt an den Tisch. Die alkoholfreien Getränke (Wasser, O-Saft) waren zu warm/ungekühlt, allein die beiden Gläser Weisswein waren wohltemperiert. Das Dessert wurden in 2 Etageren für 6 Personen serviert, so dass man unglücklicherweise gezwungen war mit den uns fremden und nicht ansprechenden Menschen am Tisch zu teilen. Die Blaubeeren und Kräuter wurden mit Fingern entnommen, so dass wir auf Teilen verzichtet haben. Der gefrorene Kern im Eis war zu kalt und nicht definierbar. Das Preis-/Leitungsverhälnis mit € 700,00 für 4 Personen ist in Anlehnung an Service und Qualität völlig unangemessen. Wir sind sehr enttäuscht und werden weder Show noch Location weiter empfehlen.

Wir haben uns sehr auf das Erlebnisdinner bei La Petit Chef gefreut, und die Location sowie die Inszenierung waren wirklich beeindruckend. Das Ambiente hat sofort für eine besondere Atmosphäre gesorgt, und die freundlichen und höflichen Servicekräfte trugen dazu bei, dass wir uns willkommen fühlten. Allerdings war das Personal sichtbar ausgelastet, was hin und wieder die Aufmerksamkeit beeinträchtigte. Leider hat das kulinarische Erlebnis nicht mit unseren Erwartungen mithalten können. Das Essen war insgesamt enttäuschend. Viele Gerichte waren ungewürzt und geschmacklich einfallslos. Besonders die Vorspeise – geschälte Tomate, Büffelmozzarella und Pesto – war lasch und nicht stimmig. Der Fisch sowie die kleine Roulade waren trocken und geschmacklos, und das Rindfleisch war zäh und wenig appetitlich. Auch die Nachspeise überzeugte nicht: Das Eis war lecker, aber der stark gefrorene Kern ließ sich kaum genießen, und der Geschmack war nicht definierbar. Der vorbestellte Kuchen war leider zu fest, schwer und geschmacklich enttäuschend. Auch der Service rund um die Garderobe hat uns enttäuscht. Wir haben unsere Jacken gegen eine Nummer abgegeben, doch am Ende des Abends herrschte Chaos: Das Personal war überfordert und bat uns schließlich, selbst in die kleine Nische zu gehen, um unsere Jacken herauszusuchen. Das fanden wir in diesem Preissegment absolut unangemessen. Positiv hervorheben möchten wir den alkoholfreien Weihnachtspunsch, der wirklich köstlich war, sowie den Weingang, der gut ausgewählt wurde. Überraschend war auch, dass das Kindermenü geschmacklich am überzeugendsten war. Alles in allem waren wir mit sieben Personen dort, und leider überwiegt das Gefühl, dass Preis und Leistung nicht im Verhältnis stehen. Trotz des tollen Show-Aspekts und der schönen Location können wir La Petit Chef kulinarisch nicht weiterempfehlen und werden nicht wiederkommen. Wir haben vorher mit ca. 1000€ reserviert. Vor Ort haben wir mit Wein, Weihnachtspunsch und anderen Getränken und zwei Kuchen aufgestockt. Preis Leistung stimmt überhaupt nicht.

From the refreshing appetizer to the interactive dessert, each dish was a delight for the senses and was accompanied by creative animations that brought the food to life. The atmosphere in the restaurant was festive and welcoming, perfect for a special occasion. The entire team provided excellent service and made our evening very special. In summary, the visit to le Petit Chef was a wonderful experience that me and my daughter will have fond memories of. An absolute highlight for anyone looking for an extraordinary dinner!

Disappointing experience at Le Petit Chef Frankfurt Unfortunately, my visit to Le Petit Chef was not as positive as I had hoped. Dessert was disappointing - the ice cream was frozen way too hard and the tablecloths weren't ironed neatly. At a price of €179 per person, the value for money was not justified. The meat was overcooked and the noodles tasted like frozen food and were overly seasoned. The technical implementation also left a lot to be desired. The multimedia system had repeated volume fluctuations and timing problems between gears, which disrupted the flow. The waiting times between courses were very irregular - from 4 to 15 minutes - and took a lot out of the mood. In addition, after a short time the projection appeared rather monotonous and the graphics became outdated. Le Petit Chef's concept definitely has potential, but the aforementioned weaknesses detract from the overall experience. I hope that improvements will be made in the future to fully express the idea.

Interesting concept in a cool atmosphere combined with courteous service - but unfortunately completely overpriced, mediocre food. The little chef's animations are funny and a cute, special idea - but don't expect a 4K image or outstanding 3D effects on the table/plate. The service is very friendly and attentive, and the lounge-like atmosphere in the basement of the Frankfurter Hof is also very cool. Unfortunately, the pricing doesn't match the food on offer - the two of us paid just under €340 with an aperitif, a glass of wine and a bottle of water including a tip. For this amount you can eat much more often or much better almost everywhere in Frankfurt.

We were in the restaurant yesterday and ate the classic menu. The little chef's show was quite nice and the service was very good. The food was good, but didn't justify the price of €129. Unfortunately, my companion had severe food poisoning hours later. That can't be the case, especially if you offer fine dining!

Something different with the 3D animation and show, but the price-performance ratio is not right at all. The service is subpar and a 130€ (pp without wine) menu is served and presented by students. In addition, at that price you shouldn't share a table for four with another couple! Paying at the end also took far too long.

I invited five people - it was a bombastic experience. Everyone really enjoyed it, no one knew it before - including me. In addition to the "show", the food was also first class.

Wir waren mit zwei Personen vor Ort und hatten zwei mal das Premium Menü mit einmal Weinbegleitung. Das Personal war stehts freundlich allerdings reicht dies für den Service in einer Preisklasse >200€ p.P. nicht aus. Nach Getränken wurde man zu Beginn gefragt und dann erst nach 2 Stunden wieder, die Weinbegleitung bestand aus dem zitiren des Etikettes und der zweifach erfragte Zucker zum Kaffee wurde vergessen. Das sind dinge die in diesem Preissegment nicht passieren dürften, auch wenn der Service nett war. Das Essen war das ganze Menü über sehr lecker und auf erfrage Änderungen bei der Buchung wurde Problemlos eingegangen. Leider fehlte das WOW Erlebnis bei den einzelnen Gängen. Die bitte nicht Falsch verstehen, geschmacklich und von der Auswahl der einzelnen Zutaten war alles auf einem hohen Niveau. Das ausschlaggebende für den Besuch- und zwar der kleine Chef- sorgte für kurzweilige Unterhaltung zwischen den Gängen und sorgte für ein schönes Erlebnis zwischendurch. Die liebevoll gestalteten Sequenzen und der durchdachte Einsatz des Platztellers sorgte mehrfach für erstaunen und Belustigung. Jeder der sich überlegt sollte hier definitiv einen Besuch planen, sofern er über die oben genannten Punkte hinweg sehen kann. Zusammengefasst verbrachten wir trotz ein paar Kritikpunkte einen schönen und gemütlichen Abend im Le petit Chef.

The food was simply first class!! The show is really cute! The children really enjoyed it. This is our second time there. We never thought the new show could surpass the one before it, but it has! We had lots of fun ! We were even allowed to help design the dessert. Sweet idea! The children were thrilled! We'd love to come back

Unfortunately very disappointing 😢 for 130€ you want the food to be of appropriate quality and portions large enough so that you don't have to leave the restaurant hungry again. Unfortunately, neither was the case. The two scallops were tough and very small, the corn-fed chicken was also small and tough and the roast beef was quite good, but also very little. The ice cream for dessert was rock hard and of poor quality. The show was really nice and was very entertaining and lovingly designed. All in all, unfortunately, absolutely no recommendation because the price-performance ratio is simply not right.

Seldom eaten so badly. The seats at the table were set with a white plate that was unfortunately completely smeared. It would make sense to polish the plate before setting up, because the bright light of the projection is unforgiving. My husband's plate wasn't even washed because the label from a Swedish furniture store was still half stuck underneath. The “greeting from the kitchen” was 4 slices of baguette bread that you could look through. With a mini dollop of herb butter. The portion sizes were really embarrassing. One!!! Scallops that are also halved!!! was. Unfortunately only lukewarm. The third course, corn-fed chicken, was cold. The plate is cold, the food is cold. If I had waited for service to complain, I would definitely still be sitting there today. So, for better or worse, eaten cold. Unfortunately, after describing the situation, there was no reaction from the kitchen. Such a plate simply cannot be sent. Then came the beef fillet. Two slices each the size of a "5 Mark" piece. One slice was ok, the other slice was just a leftover piece which was about 2 cm thick and was cooked through. Again, no reaction from the kitchen. It's just a shame because the taste was quite ok. The service was really attentive and very friendly but very slow. Now to the show. We were supposed to be there at 4:45 p.m. so that the show could start promptly at 5 p.m. I honestly ask myself why? At 5:45 p.m. the bread arrived...! Between each course, over half an hour of waiting passed... just way too long. My conclusion: Le petit chef is supposed to be a special experience, but it turned out to be a failure. Nothing just fits together. Portions like in a star restaurant but miles away from that. It is intentional and not possible. We drove home hungry. Finally, I would like to mention that we discussed our dissatisfaction with the service department for a long time...
