Super tasty. Large portions. Price-performance ratio is right. The service is great and super nice. The homemade lemonades are exceptional and delicious. The spicy lemonade is really spicy. So not for everyone.

The food was okay! Unfortunately we had to wait almost 1 hour for citizens with fries! The restaurant wasn't fully occupied! It was just too long!

I've been there 5 times so far and no matter what I ordered there, there was nothing to complain about. Nevertheless, the 5th visit (Saturday evening) will also be the last and for the following reason: a certain waitress who is more busy during her shift not concentrating on her work but rather chatting. We would have liked to have something to drink (after the food came strangely late) but the table next to us had something good to offer in terms of conversation so we had to get something to drink at the gas station after we just wanted to go home pissed and the waitress did managed to notice our table (it was next door). We noticed the displeasure of the other guests who were sitting near us, they simply weren't being served anymore. Top kitchen (but the long wait was probably due to the waitress, the table next to us had ordered after us and was almost finished with the food before our two burgers arrived, so nothing that couldn't be made quickly) but the waitress was simply underground, except that she'll probably do a great job of alienating customers. Too bad.

I also wished for some bread and tomatoes. But it was delicious.

Ash is a great shop. The food is great, the price is completely reasonable and I think the ambience is second to none. The staff is friendly and regularly asks how the guest is feeling. They also understand fun. (Everyone is very relaxed and enjoys their work). There is a children's playground outside Ash's that is always clean and the children love it. If you sit outside, the guest area is separated by a hedge (which is also very well maintained) so that people walking past cannot see the food on your plate. 😄 The sanitary facilities are very modern and super clean. All in all, great store.

We were there spontaneously in the evening yesterday, August 18, 2024. It was our first time eating at The ASH and it was delicious. Our waitress Isi was extremely friendly and helped us a lot with questions about the dishes and drinks. Highly recommended. Dogs, whether small or large, are welcome and given water. Well suited for families. Since there is a playground next to it, I have to say you can't watch the children.

I was shocked at how unprofessional the staff was. Were completely ignored after we got our food. I don't know anything about Dortmund.

We wanted to have something to eat here with my husband last night and ordered 2 standard burger menus. After exactly 60 minutes and asking the waiters twice, our food still didn't come, so we left. The striking thing was that several groups who came after us and ordered exactly the same burger menu received their food before us. Apparently the waitresses decide who is served first based on the origin of the guests. In any case, we have never experienced it in a restaurant that the food still doesn't come after 60 minutes, even if it was busy. Therefore, we personally cannot recommend the store and will not visit it again.

I had steak - medium, it was a nice, fine piece, but next time I'll prefer medium-welldone. Plus salad. The portion was just right for me. The children ate burgers with fries, very juicy, according to the children it was the best burger they had ever had. My husband had several types of steak with spinach and 2 sauces, also very tasty. As a dessert, pancakes - also very tasty, but a bit dry for me - I prefer butter or fat in general... We were always served quickly, Kim never forgot us, she didn't forget any of our requests, we reordered all the drinks, and also went through the billing abbreviations with us. I wish I had service like this in every restaurant! Great!

The food was very good, the homemade ketchup with the fries wasn't any, but (that's exactly why?) it tasted great. The service was mixed. The price was high, but still reasonable for the quality of the meat, I think. But: When paying by card, a 30% tip as a pre-selection? Seriously?

We had something to eat in Bochum yesterday First of all we had to wait over 30 minutes for our drinks, but the food was very tasty and warm after we ordered drinks again from another waitress because the other waitress didn't come to us and didn't even ask if everything was ok 2 again after 30 minutes and one was forgotten. When we wanted to pay, the waitress who had served us at the beginning came to us and was suddenly very friendly when it came to a tip Felt like we lay on the table with our men to “explain how a card payment works” even though they could go around the table and explain it (we didn’t need any explanation). But after she saw that we didn't give a tip because we waited far too long for the food and especially the drinks, the lady only gave curt answers. I had asked if the third drink we didn't get had On the bill I got the answer that we only had to order from her and not from others, which was difficult if she hadn't glanced at us or walked past us.

We were there on August 11th. 24 for two with reservation there. We sat outside. Very nice and comfortable seating. We drank a Limoncello Berry and a Passion Mule (this was non-alcoholic). Really delicious in this nice weather. We each ordered a truffle burger with steakhouse fries and mayo. We were both thrilled. The service staff were very friendly. After a very good and strong espresso we drove on happily. It was a nice stay that we would like to repeat.

Were there for dinner. Very friendly service and also very accommodating. Unfortunately, the food wasn't that great. The fries were limp, the mushrooms had a strong taste due to the smoke aroma, and the meat was a bit tough. We left after an hour because we couldn't talk at all.

The ribs were okay, but nothing special. I found the steak and the portion as a whole far too small for the price, as the side dish wasn't particularly generous either. A pity

For my birthday I treated myself to a 200g steak Teres Major Irish Dry Aged for €41 😭. The price just for a steak is huge. I then chose green asparagus as a side dish. This then had to be paid extra again. When my plate came there were 5 mini stalks of asparagus on the plate. The steak was okay and tasty but unfortunately not particularly good. So all in all I went home hungry. Very unfortunate and disappointing unfortunately.

The two of us were there spontaneously in the outdoor area. After being seated at the table, we were immediately handed the menus. Our quick decision to eat was gratefully accepted by the friendly staff, so that we were able to enjoy our meal straight away a few minutes later. Everything about the Smashburger was great, only the sweet potato fries could have been a little crispier. In any case, a very successful spontaneous visit.

Update: There for the second time today, the ambience was good again but the food wasn't price/performance ratio this time. The ribs themselves were tasty but very fatty and little BBQ sauce. The club sandwich was good. But unfortunately the side dish portions were also very small for the price and only lukewarm. Plus the onion rings with chopped onions and no real rings, which is unfortunately a sign of not that high quality and, in my opinion, outrageous given the prices. The service was very friendly but the starter was forgotten and it came at the same time as the main dishes. Conclusion: I'm not sure if we'll try it a third time. I was eating at The Ash with my girlfriend on my birthday, and the following thing really bothered us: the service was unfriendly, and after asking for a dessert menu they didn't come back and we waited for twenty minutes. In general it took a long time until we were served. As for the food, the sweet potato fries were undercooked and the smash burger was dry. The mac and cheese tasted floury and had the same consistency. The cola arrived without carbonation. The atmosphere was still very nice. We would be happy if it could be worked on because we would like to come back.

The four of us plus the baby were spontaneously there last night and were warmly welcomed. Our baby was looked after several times with small attentions, such as handing out cucumbers as snacks or offering high chairs. We were 10000% satisfied with the service. I've never experienced anything so nice. A big thank you to our waitress and the lady who showed us to our seat The food is a 20/10. We had burgers; the meat was tasty and juicy, the sauce and salads were perfectly balanced. We will come here more often.

Guten Tag, Ich hatte gestern einen Tisch um 19 Uhr gebucht, angetroffen sind wir um 18:45. Mein Wunsch einen ruhigen Tisch in einer Ecke zu bekommen wurde nicht nachgegangen. Zuerst mussten wir direkt vor der Küche sitzen, mit Abstand der schlechteste Platz obwohl das Lokal sehr leer war. Nun gut nach nachfragen konnten wir uns einen Platz in der Ecke wo es ruhig war aussuchen. Nach dem wir dann das Essen bestellt hatten mussten wir über eine Stunde warten bis es endlich kam. Natürlich haben wir beobachtet wie andere Tische die nach uns kamen zuerst ihr Essen bekamen. Die Dame vom Service versuchte uns mit schlechten Ausreden zu beruhigen. Nun gut, man konnte beobachten das das Essen oft Minuten an der Theke unter den Heizstrahlern verweilte bevor es zu den Tischen gelangte. Natürlich kam dann auch unser Essen die Filetsteaks fast kalt an. Als ich dann zahlen wollte und mehrmals drum bat das endlich jemand zum kassieren kommt war die Stimmung dann auch ganz hinüber, dies waren dann nochmals ca 30min. Die Servicemitarbeiterin schien total fehl am Platz und überfordert. Wir wurden wenn überhaupt nach 40min mal gefragt ob man noch was trinken möchte. Und die Getränke die wir dann eine Stunde bis zum Essen trinken mussten waren dann auch schon abgestanden. Also das war mit Abstand der schlechteste Besuch in einem Steakhouse ever. Und das wo ich meine Eltern zum Geburtstag eingeladen habe. Ein absolut enttäuschender Abend.

The photo looks good, unfortunately it really doesn't taste nearly as good. The patties were completely done (more than well done), not at all juicy and rather hard to chew. The sauces were 0815, I ordered the spicy burger, but the only thing that was spicy were the jalapenos. Mac and cheese was more of a cheese cream soup with noodles. The buns weren't anything special either. As far as service is concerned, you were asked three times before you ordered the food if you wanted any more drinks, even though we had already ordered something. In the end, the waiter debited a higher amount than I had quoted as including the tip. I only saw that afterwards. All in all, overpriced, inferior product.

We had salad with goat cheese and the pasta with lemon…. The taste of the two salads was delicious, but there was far too little salad and the bread was also stingy. The dressing could also be a little more generous. Unfortunately there was no hint of lemon in the pasta. The taste of dill overpowered everything.

It wasn't particularly crowded. We also took part in the Sunday brunch. Good choice. Delicious.

A super super super great restaurant! The brunch buffet is particularly tasty on Sundays and has a lot to choose from. The waitresses are also great, nice and humorous. We'll definitely be back!

Had brunch for the second time and would come back again and again. The food is really great and the service is great. WiFi is available and coffee is even included in the price.

The food is delicious. The steaks are served as ordered. In order to eat a decent steak or ribs, I drive to Ash Bochum without shopping in the Ruhrpark.

Leider ist unser Restaurant Besuch nicht so erfreulich gewesen . Wir haben 1h 20min auf das Essen gewartet, obwohl keine 100% Auslastung im Lokal war! Zusätzlich war das Essen lauwarm und die Steakhousefries waren kalt ! 1 Kellnerin für außen und für drinnen . Schade . Es war mein Geburtstag. Ich habe netterweise ein Gratis-Dessert bekommen! 19,90€ All You Can Eat Spareribs were pretty tasty. They were soft as they were supposed to be, although they were a little too much fat. The salad was a little portion, but delicious. They have also many vegan options available on the menu. Service was not that fast, let’s say. I can’t imagine how they manage it when it is fully booked. But still: it’s a fancy restaurant to enjoy a dinner for a small rather then a big group of people :)

We were there yesterday. The location is very centrally located, at the Ruhrpark. What left something to be desired was the service. You often had to draw attention to yourself until something that was ordered was delivered. Overall very inattentive and frustrating. The food was ok, there was little to complain about, but also little to highlight. In response to our complaint, we were offered that the drinks would be on the house, but we declined because we didn't want compensation, but wanted to point out what could be better.

Unfortunately not the best visit to Ash. After we were given the menus, we had to wait around 20 minutes until we got tired of it and went in to finally order drinks. In total it took around 45 minutes from sitting down to eating. When the drinks came, the Sprite tasted like sparkling water. Apparently we ran out of syrup, but when we asked, we were immediately served new drinks that tasted as they should. The two burgers were good and tasty, but the steak, which was supposed to be medium rare, was unfortunately almost bloody. At least it was put back on the grill and a few minutes later it arrived just as we originally ordered it. Nevertheless, something like this shouldn't happen in a steak and burger joint. Regarding customer service, I have to say that I found it quite amusing. We sat there for 20 minutes as if we had been forgotten. And when our orders were taken, we were asked, without lying, every 5 minutes if everything was OK. I've really never experienced that before. Normally when we eat at Ash we are only asked once during the meal if it tastes good and if everything is ok. I think it's good that you ask the customer if everything is okay, but I don't think you need to come to the table every 5 minutes. Overall, a rather mediocre visit. I will definitely still be a regular visitor, only in Essen or Oberhausen, where we have never had any problems.

Today I was at Ash again. Last time everything was great, but this time the service was unfortunately surprised by the hot weather and thinned out. So we had to wait a long time for dessert, but we were treated to a hot drink on the house. Unfortunately, with the temperature exceeding 30 degrees, the ambience was affected by loud and overexcited children in the playground next door. Conclusion: Always happy, but probably not next time when it's so hot. ✌️

Ich war sehr überrascht, dass die Auswahl an veganen Produkten so groß ist. Ich hatte den SENSATIONAL BURGER und die BEYOND CHICKEN STRIPS. Beides war sehr lecker. Kann ich nur empfehlen.

We ate there today, the steak was lukewarm to cold. I ordered rare, but it came medium rare. Unfortunately, the steak was absolutely not salted, as were the fries. When we ordered we were asked if we would like herb butter. As is usual in other restaurants, we either expected that the herb butter would be included or that it would cost around €1.50. In fact, this was charged at €3, and then paying €6 for it really hurt. It's a shame that you're being thrown into the pan for such a mini bowl of butter. Oh well. Service was otherwise relatively okay, but you had to wait a long time until someone came to take the order or pay. We won't eat there again, there are far better places to eat a steak.

Very nice service, Dilcan served us. We were here in the Ash instead of in Dortmund, which is unfortunately closed. She is very nice, extremely polite and serves us well. We enjoyed the food very much. Would recommend everyone to eat here.
