Nice atmosphere, attentive staff, good food.

We were there for the first time. The service was very friendly. The food was very tasty 👍 and large portions. We'd love to come back. We were there again last year at the end of 2024. It was very cold in the restaurant because the heating didn't work. The food was okay but it took forever even though there were only 6 other guests there. The dessert (apple strudel) was a fairly small portion without cream and a ready-made ice cream from the supermarket:( Price performance wasn't right at all.

Well, we were your guests again after years. Service from the employees was perceived as good, even though there were young people who were probably still new to the industry. However, the price development is incomprehensible! As old regular customers, which we certainly were and are no longer due to a change of residence, we were negatively surprised by this. Since we are generally always on the move a lot and know many good pubs, restaurants and excursion destinations, the price for cake, coffee or other drinks is really quite steep. You can understand that everything has become more expensive, but you are really at the top of the list. Having to pay around 16 euros per person for a relatively short stay with cake, coffee and one drink each is really going too far. In addition, the tip, which is always included and is happily paid, is no longer possible. We'd better go back to Baldeneysee and their catering areas soon, where it's around 20%-30% cheaper. And you sit by the water and feel good about it. Ps. and I don't look directly at the price, but there is a pain threshold for everything. I'm happy to pay your price at the Café de Paris in Monte Carlo, but not at the Kemnad reservoir.

The ambience is nice because it's something different. However, like others, I also find the prices to be excessive. The mandatory salad for €4 is green salad from a bag with cheese from a bag, very small, very bland. I also find the prices for the dough with little filling to be too high. Even if you take into account the high energy costs. A larger selection of toppings would also certainly be a good idea. The waitress (man) was very cold and moderately friendly. It was an experience, but we wouldn't go there again for the money.
