Specktakel zum Krug in Bochum

Celebrated my mother's 100th birthday. Everything planned was fully accomplished. We were very satisfied. The bill corresponded to expectations.

Der Veranstaltungsort "Scheune" kann sich sehen lassen. Was allerdings als außerirdisch zu bewerten ist war das angebotene Buffet. Das lieblose Arrangement der Speisen zeigt ein doch erhebliches Desinteresse des Verstalters an einem professionellen Erscheinungsbild der Darbietung. Zu dem Vorgenannten werden den Gästen als I-Tüpfelchen überwiegend geschmacksneutrale Speisen, die sich zudem in einem lauwarmen Aggregatzustand befandsn, angeboten. Ausnehmen muss man hier jedoch die Vorspeisenplatte, die war sehr gut gekühlt und teilweise schon angetrocknet. Also in der Summe kann ich allen nur empfehlen "suchen" Sie sich einen anderen Veranstalter, er kann nur besser sein. Hinweis: Falls Sie sich schon für das Haus entscheiden sollten, kann ich nur empfehlen "nehmen Sie vor der Feier" eine Kleinigkeit zu sich, damit der Magen im Laufe des Abends nicht zu sehr knurrt.

The food was super delicious 😋. Unfortunately we almost had to beg for drinks. There were only 2 drinks in 2.5 hours. No order was placed for dessert. We were given a menu, but no waitress took the order. 3. Drink was not served but was on the bill. Tables were not cleared. They could have earned a lot more from us. Once and never again. Too bad. But not all of the food goes away.

Service was nice, but not really there. We always had to wait a long time until someone came out and there were only 3 tables outside with us and 2 waitresses. At -2°C the heaters couldn't be turned on, which was outrageous for something that was only offered outside. And it is quite expensive, both a fairly hefty price per bread stick, but drinks are quite small for the prices.

Delicious food, friendly service and a surprising number of vegetarian/vegan dishes. I didn't expect that.
