Across from Goodtimes, The Taste completely impressed us. Very tasty dishes, with a slightly more refined flavor than the competition. Very attentive and friendly service rounded off the visit. We'll be back.

I've been here three, four, and five times now – and every time it's been a great experience. The cocktails, especially the non-alcoholic ones, are incredibly delicious. No matter what I've ordered so far, it's always been beautifully presented and delicious. The service continues to be polite, courteous, and attentive. Special requests are also accommodated without any problems – I really appreciate that! The name is new: Thai Cuisine is now called The Taste, but the quality remains consistently high. The food is still excellent and continues the tradition. An additional highlight: They now also serve sushi! I'm already looking forward to my next visit!

The Taste Thai Restaurant in Berlin Zehlendorf impressed us immensely. From the ambiance to the super-friendly service, the presentations, and of course, the dishes. They also offer a wide range of non-alcoholic cocktails and Thai ice tea. For starters, we chose mango salad with green mango. The salad was simply a delight, delicately seasoned with cashew nuts and coriander. The main course was chicken satay skewers with rice noodles in curry sauce. The meat was tender and crispy, a true delight. The curry was very aromatic and paired perfectly with the chicken. The magic of the dry ice at the beginning was original and brought a smile to our faces. I was absolutely thrilled at The Taste! The food is fresh, aromatic, and perfectly seasoned – the green curry in particular was a dream. The homemade iced teas are a hit not only in taste but also in appearance. The atmosphere is relaxed and inviting, and special praise goes to the very nice young waiter, who made the evening even more enjoyable with his friendly manner.

With a new head chef this restaurant will be exceptional.

I have visited this place before, while it was under different management. Before, the restaurant seemed more dull and outdated. But now after the renovations and rebranding, they have been able to completely transform the restaurant. Now it has a modern and vibrant vibe, and has delicious food. We arrived in the afternoon on a Friday and were able to be seated immediately. Service was immaculate and they welcomed our dog with kind hospitality. I definitely recommend stopping by if you happen to be in Zehlendorf. So far, it is a true hidden gem.

Whenever we've been there, the food has always been really good. However, I wouldn't recommend ordering delivery from here to anyone. Both times we've had issues with incorrect deliveries, and the food doesn't taste half as good when it's lukewarm.

This restaurant deserves a visit; everything is just right, from the hospitality to the food. They have it all under control. The non-alcoholic drinks are amazing in this heat, refreshingly delicious. My favorite is the Ipanema with fresh passion fruit. The papaya salad is a dream, perfectly dressed, slightly spicy, and everything fresh is a must to start. Then the spring rolls are simply delicious, just like freshly homemade. Followed by crispy fried chicken with lots of fresh vegetables and herbs in a fantastically sweet and spicy sauce, it was incredibly delicious. In conclusion, I'm a huge fan of this restaurant; the atmosphere is very cozy and inviting. The boss is very friendly, courteous, competent, and attentive; you can see he has the place completely under control. Kudos also to the staff and the cook. We were here for the second time today with friends, which they also loved. We'd love to visit again as soon as we're back in Berlin. Best wishes from Zurich, keep up the good work 🙏❤️🙏

We had lunch on Sunday and it was a real treat. Very delicious food, everything fresh and beautifully presented. The best Thai food in Berlin and the surrounding area. We've had a lot of leftover food, but Thai Cuisine is the best for us. The delicious food is highly recommended. 10 out of 10. Very friendly and competent service. We'd be happy to come back.

We've eaten in once so far and ordered takeout twice on a whim. Each time, the food was fresh, delicious, and ready quickly. A particularly positive aspect: On one spontaneous visit, they even gave me a free drink, simply because I had to wait a bit. The owner is really nice; it was easy to have a good conversation and I immediately felt welcome. The service is consistently friendly and courteous. A clear recommendation if you're looking for authentic Thai food in Zehlendorf. Uncomplicated, delicious, and personable.

Super delicious food, no question. I still think €17.50 for a Phat Thai with exactly three prawns and three small pieces of tofu is too expensive. And a €0.35 surcharge for online booking (and self-collection!) is simply not up to date. When I picked it up at lunchtime, I discovered that this exact dish was being offered at a significantly lower price as a lunchtime special in the restaurant. Why aren't customers informed of this when booking this dish online, or why isn't the lunchtime special price charged directly? Disappointing.

Super great, authentic restaurant not far from Zehlendorf train station! I was there for the first time and was more than thrilled, everything from the food, the service to the ambience was excellent. The homemade drinks were also a special highlight; fresh ingredients and beautifully presented. I also think it's great to be able to book Christmas parties and other events, who knows what's coming up in the future :) Big praise to the entire staff and especially the kitchen!

We've ordered here many times and have always been satisfied. Today, all the dishes were disappointing! About 10 prawn crackers with very little sauce. The other portions were fine in size, but way too salty for soup, with only one single prawn. The larb gai was poorly seasoned, and the vegetable rice was mushy and bland. A shame.

Tasty, but expensive. The cuisine is good, but not 100% traditional, probably because most of the guests are not Thai. Expensive and a bit too classy for my taste. Still worth a trip.

The Thai Cuisine Restaurant has made an impressive new start after reopening under new management. The experienced Thai chef, who made the restaurant one of the most popular addresses even before the renovation, continues to provide first-class dishes with authentic flavors - something that is particularly important to me as a big fan of Thai cuisine. The new ambience is really successful – modern, stylish and inviting. From a culinary point of view, the Thai Cuisine impressed me across the board: the refreshingly spicy papaya salad, the aromatic and spicy Phat Krapao and my absolute favorite, the spicy Phat Ki Mau (Drunken Noodles), show how authentic and diverse Thai cuisine can be. Particularly noteworthy is the pleasant spiciness of the dishes. For me it is precisely this balance between spice, sweetness and freshness that is particularly important. The service was always warm and attentive. The Thai Cuisine Restaurant is a highlight for anyone who loves authentic Thai food, and the reopening has been more than successful. I highly recommend it!

Super great Thai restaurant! Nice atmosphere, nice service, authentic Thai dishes and delicious drinks. We enjoyed it very much! Upon request, the Phat Thai could even be made gluten-free - just ask!

A perfect meal. We were warmly welcomed at the reception and presented with the menu. The dishes and drinks are selected and of very high quality. We were asked several times about our wishes and at the end the cook even introduced herself personally and asked whether everything was to our satisfaction. We would love to come back.

This was our first but definitely not the last time we ate here. We know other Thai restaurants but this one clearly overshadows the others for us. Whether it was the food or the service, we were thrilled. Small note: In my opinion, just one university toilet is not enough.

Excellent Thai restaurant with authentic flair and warm hospitality I had the pleasure of visiting this Thai restaurant and absolutely loved it! The atmosphere is inviting and cozy, perfect for a relaxing evening. The service was exceptionally friendly and attentive without being intrusive. The food was an absolute delight! The dishes tasted authentic and fresh, with perfectly balanced spices. You can immediately tell that there is a lot of love and skill in the kitchen here. I recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants to experience real Thai cuisine!

Since its re-opening it has become our favorite restaurant! The food is delicious, the service from absolutely all the waiters is very good, they pass by the tables and greet you (I don't know if they were the owners too), but the general atmosphere is warm and beautiful. Without a doubt my family and I will continue eating at this restaurant with great pleasure.

We had a great visit to the “Thai Cusine” restaurant today, the food was really, really good. Authentic Thai. Every meal could be adapted upon request, and vegan wishes are also taken into account. We would have liked the food to come a little quicker, otherwise everything was great. We will honor you again!

After reopening, we ate there this afternoon and really enjoyed the incredibly delicious food with good and friendly service. This will be our new regular restaurant and we are already looking forward to our next visit.

November 6, 2024. I actually wanted to celebrate my birthday there. According to Google, the restaurant should be open, but it isn't. It's closed and still looks like it's undergoing renovations.

Unfortunately it was closed at 7:45 p.m. on Saturday evening when I wanted to go. Looked like renovation work... so maybe closed longer??? Then please mark it as closed here on Google

Finally discovered a really great, authentic Thai in Zehlendorf 😃 The food is simply fantastic! Like in Thailand❤️ The service is very warm and attentive. And the outside area feels like you're on vacation in Thailand. Our new favorite restaurant 🥰

Wow, what a treat! The staff are so lovely, from the moment you enter to the moment you leave they make you feel valued as a customer, quite unusual in this city. I've been coming here for years and always eat very well. Special requests are always taken into account. Even after many years there has never been a deterioration in the kitchen and the service is very good.

I had dinner there with my colleagues. I had pre-ordered a vegetarian dish with water chestnuts and asparagus. The food itself was very tasty, but there was no asparagus to be seen and the portion with the one lonely water chestnut was very clear. I found the price for jasmine tea unreasonably high. €3.50 for a tea bag in a small glass with handle is really completely excessive. In other restaurants, the tea is at least served in a nice, slightly larger glass and a few jasmine flowers are added, if tea bags.

Supernette Bedienung, herzlich und lustig. Das Essen war supergut. Für meinen Geschmack war es ein bisschen zuwenig Gemüse und zuviel Fleisch/Tofu. Aber wenn ich das nächstes Mal ansage, geht es bestimmt auch anders. Wir waren zu viert dort und alle waren sehr zufrieden. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist auch gut, besonders für die Gegend. Ich habe meins nicht mal geschafft, habe den Rest ohne Probleme mitnehmen können und hatte am nächsten Tag nochmal eine schlne Portion von dem leckeren Curry.

I love eating here. Their food always makes me happy. Every time I go I always try to sit out on their patio, there they have little fountains and great atmosphere. Don’t hesitate to ask to sit there, the employees are very kind and are willing to help with anything.

Sehr schönes, kleines Lokal in der Nähe von S-Bahnhof Zehlendorf. Fußläufig von da aus schnell erreichte. Essen war sehr lecker und reichhaltig. Auf individuelle Wünsche wird wirklich eingegangen. Preislich im oberen Mittelfeld. Aber war es wirklich wert.

I would give this place more stars if I could. The food was beyond amazing, and the staff was very friendly and pleasant. I was worried about the spice level, but it was adjustable. However, the normal level wasn't too bad so I didn't need more coconut milk lol. If you want to sit in the garden bit, best make a reservation. The picture is Gai Groob Priau Waan (no. 29 on the menu).

Asian warmth and hospitality is really something that makes you want to go back over and over again. I have been to this restaurant several times and their staff are super friendly 👍🏼 Thai food is also great as they let you know if the dish is too spicy and they can adjust the level of spice how you want it. 🥰

Wahnsinn!! Bestes Essen seit langem! Nicht umsonst ist das hier meine aller erste Google Rezension überhaupt… Der Service war hervorragend und das Essen ein absoluter Genuss. Ist auf jeden Fall jeden einzelnen Cent wert.

Sehr nettes Personal, Parkplatz auf dem Hof und das Essen ist wirklich schön angerichtet und schmeckt richtig lecker zu 100% Thailändische. Verschiedene Schärfe Grade werden angeboten und bei der Bestellung gleich erfragt. Vorsicht mittel ist schon sehr sehr scharf.
