Absolute (insider) tip! I live nearby and have already tried the entire menu. Everything is super delicious and fresh. The Pad Thai is one of the best in town. The curries are super tasty! The prices are completely fair. The staff is always friendly.

So-so. €9.50 for something that was, well, Thai and really not that much. It was a random price because there were no more prices on the menu. People looked at me and said I was probably rich. Unfortunately not, but OK, I was hungry. I think that's a shame because it's another Thai restaurant that's rather inauthentic. It might be a bit cheaper, but I don't understand why the quality has to suffer. I think a lot of people here don't even know what Thai cuisine means? And there are simply no affordable, proper Thai restaurants that cook the way street food should be? Cheap to the point and simply very good. Maybe the pad Thai is good, I'll try it sometime because I haven't found good, fresh pad Thai in Berlin yet.

Super authentic and good food for a fair price. The portions are quite big and filling and get ready surprisingly fast. Workers are friendly and recommend often from the menu. Cash only in this hidden gem next to busy Karl-Marx-Straße. Have been there before and will visit again.

Update: After a long break, I tried it again and was once again disappointed. The Phat Thai was a single, sticky lump of noodles, a vaguely descriptive sauce, and barely any vegetables. The taste and, above all, the smell made it difficult to eat. In the end, I couldn't even eat half of it and was still struggling with stomach cramps the next day. First entry: Annoying! The food tastes good, but it's very hard to digest. I tried it a second time with the same result. Even the next day, I still had digestive problems and felt unwell. It's a shame, because the ladies there are very nice.

Very friendly, attentive staff. You can sit comfortably outside – the street is quiet and hardly busy. The €8.50 dish was enough for two meals. Highly recommended!

Great, original Thai spot. Don’t expect anything fancy here, but the staff is friendly and the dishes are excellent. My go to is the 45 (Laab Gai) and the 7 (spring rolls with chicken). They’ll occasionally give you a free soup which is also tasty. The Laab Gai is great, super fresh and well balanced. The spring rolls aren’t too oily even though they are deep fried.

Amazing food! We ordered a lot because we were very hungry, then the nice lady packed the rests for us to take home and even gave a few mandarins as a present 🥰 Every food that we've ordered was 100/10, all the best, amazing place and I'm planning to come back as often as possible

You have to keep in mind that this is a snack bar. A snack bar with delicious, authentic, fresh dishes at a very fair price. The staff is incredibly friendly. The atmosphere is clean and tidy. It's a small space, but well-organized. You can also sit outside or order takeout. If you want luxury, go elsewhere. If you want solid, authentic Pad Thai, this is the place to go.

Great Pad Thai! Friendly, fast and tasty. I would even say it's one of the best Pad Thai I've eaten in Berlin so far. And the atmosphere is very authentic 😅 Prices have increased, but are still cheap in comparison.

I had the most blatant food poisoning I've ever had after eating chicken... I never even reached this level of poisoning symptoms when I was traveling!

It was okay. Quite a bit overpriced (12€ for pad Thai is too much imho), and you can definitely taste ketchup in pad Thai which is quite sad.

Tastes inedible, just has no taste, not recommended, the meat is not chicken

The Pad Krapao without egg was a completely different dish than the one with egg. When asked, the cook said it had to be that way. The only strange thing is that the food was ready 60 seconds after ordering. It's more likely that someone else hadn't picked up their dish and she wanted to sell it to us as Krapao. Nothing to be done despite repeated requests. Very disappointing unfortunately because it was definitely a different meal than the one we ordered. Neither was really convincing in terms of taste. Unfortunately, at €12.50 it's no longer cheap after the last price increase. Too bad, too bad. We were really looking forward to it. The portions were also smaller than before. Ambiance is ugly.

We went there because we wanted to try something new. In our subjective opinion, this turned out to be the most unpalatable Asian food within a 1 km radius. The portions were also not very impressive with the presence of tofu and duck. It's a pity(

We got the wrong meal, or at least it didn't look anything like the photo in the menu would suggest. The meal was tasteless. How can you make Thai food tasteless I have no idea. I couldn't even eat half of my plate. And the biggest mystery is how this imbiss has such high rating?!

Not sure why this place is so high rated. The food is typical asian Imbiss with lots of fried onions. Would not recommend it. It is small, very smelly, but at least very clean.

You would actually walk past it and label it as a cheap Asian noodle shop. But that's not true! Instead, there is great, simple, authentic Thai cuisine like you would find in Thailand. I've never had better Pad Thai in Berlin! The ambience is also harmonious Thai street food court :D

Unfassbar gut! Unfassbar lecker! Ist es ein Geheimtipp? Nicht mehr. Aber besseres Thailändisches Essen lässt sich nicht finden! Vergiss alles, was Du bisher gegessen hast - besser als hier wird es nicht! Das Pad Thai mit Hühnchen ist ein absolutes Gedicht, so komplex, exotisch, cremig, yummy.

bei weitem das beste Pad Thai das ich je gegessen habe! die Suppe meiner Freundin war auch wahnsinnig gut, wir sind mehr als zufrieden und empfehlen das Restaurant wärmstens weiter. wir haben sogar noch Schokolade als Nachtisch aufs Haus bekommen ☺️

The food tasted like MSG only as if they accidentally poured the whole jar of MSG to the food. It’s the worst Thai food I have ever had in Germany. I don’t understand why it is „top rated“, it’s overrated. Can’t recommend.

Geheimtipp mit etwas Straßenköter-Ambiente? Die Damen trauen sich zu würzen! Es schmeckt nicht immer gleich und das peppt mir 😺. Seit freundlich und geduldig in der Kommunikation. Die Preisliste stimmt nicht mehr, rechnet mit 8-10 Euro oder fragt besser vorher nach. Von 10 Besuchen war einer fad (1 Stern) und alle anderen 4-5 Sterne. Hier trau' ich mich: GUTEN APPETIT

Finally, Tom Yum that tastes like Tom Yum — in Berlin. Pad Thai and Massaman are also decent. Generous portions for the price.

How did I never stop by before to eat at this place? Delicious and tasty Thai food, waaaaaaay better than the other Thai place at Sonnenalle that gets all the hype. The food is made with love and the ladies are really friendly. My new favorite Thai place hands down!

Wir sind für eine Studiobaumontage nach Berlin gekommen. Nach viel rumprobieren in Neukölln haben wir hier das beste Essen gefunden. Klare Empfehlung!

Früher war das Essen hier wirklich gut. Jetzt wurden die Preise deutlich erhöht und proportional die Qualität gesenkt! Die Zutaten kommen scheinbar alle vom Discounter, Thai-Auberginen wurden durch Erbsen ersetzt, das gesamte Gemüse verkocht, die Ente noch nicht einmal kross, war mein letzter Besuch!

Don’t be fooled by the looks and generic “Asian” neon outside. This place offers really great Thai food! I’ve had one of the best Som Tam (papaya salad) in Berlin, and the portion was huge! I’ve also eaten curry with potatoes and tofu and it was tasty as well. The prices are really reasonable (around 7-8 euros for a main dish). I’ll definitely be coming more often ☺️

Netter, kleiner Laden, herzliche Mitarbeiterinnen und üppige Portionen zu einem mehr als fairen Preis. Mein Pad thai schien etwas „germanisiert“, weil ungewöhnlich viele Karotten dabei waren. Die anderen Gerichte Sachen aber noch wesentlich besser aus. Ich komme bestimmt wieder und probiere weiteres.

Guter sehr kleiner Thai-Imbiss für die Mittagspause. Essen ist schnell fertig und man kann draußen sitzen. Das Phad Thai Gai war lecker und unschlagbar günstig. Wer sein Currygericht schärfer haben möchte, sollte original Thai-Schärfe bestellen. Sehr empfehlenswert!

Really generous portions and super tasty food. I tried Chicken Pad Thai and I can strongly recommend it. It's just a pity that only cash is accepted and there are only 3 tables.

Stand: 01.2023 Wir sind schon oft an dem Laden vorbeigegangen und fragten uns, ob dort tatsächlich Thailänder arbeiten und kochen. Denn man kennt es, dass auf der Speisekarte oder Werbung 'Thailändisch" drauf steht, aber leider ein*e vietnamesische*r Koch*in dahinter steckt, was ja nicht schlimm ist. Daher wagten wir uns in den Laden und als gebürtige Thailänderin begrüße ich die beiden Damen auf thailändisch. Und es wurde sofort auf thailändisch geantwortet und gefragt, ob man selbst tatsächlich Thailänderin ist 😀 Für meinen Mann bestellte ich Ped Pad Krapau für 10,90€ und für mich Lab Gai 7,90€ und eine Cola für 2€. Das Essen war wirklich gut und schon authentisch. Da mein Mann nicht wirklich scharf essen kann, wurde die Speise 'europäisiert' und mit Gemüse 'frisiert'. Mein Gericht war gut scharf, zumal ich es auch so extra bestellt hab. Die Portion ist völlig ausreichend und für den Preis angemessen. Man darf eben nicht vergessen, dass die Preise für asiatische Kräuter etc. leider auch sehr angehoben wurden. Ein kleiner Plausch mit der Besitzerin war auch drin. Und es wurde mir versichert, dass in allen Gerichten kein Glutamat eingemischt wird, da wir das überhaupt nicht vertragen. Und so war es auch. Wir sind nicht mit einem Völlegefühl nach Hause gefahren. Leider ist der der Innenraum zum Sitzen etwas klein gehalten und etwas zu kühl, als wir da waren. Im Sommer hat man die Möglichkeit draußen zu sitzen. Daher werden wir eher oft im Sommer vorbeikommen, wenn meine Mutter mal keine Lust hat für uns zu kochen 😁

The best Asian Imbiss I’ve tried in Berlin so far! Hidden jem with authentic, fresh, cheap and delicious Thai food prepared by two sweet ladies! We had 5 dishes for 30€ and portion sizes are big. For sure will come again!

Amazing food for an amazing price!

Sehr enttäuschend! Ich bekam ein Gericht vorgesetzt, das ich nicht bestellt hatte. Meine Reklamation wurde zuerst abgewimmelt und dann verschlimmbessert. Das Gemüse verkocht, die Sauce beliebig und die Atmosphäre ungemütlich. Noch dazu die Preise erhöht. Null Sterne.

Hier kriegt man authentisches thailändisches Essen ! Herkommen lohnt sich wenn man Thailand vermisst Pad Thai, Som Tam und Gaeng Om hatte ich probiert und es hat mich 9000 Kilometer in den Südosten gebracht Lecker ! :) Die Köchinnen waren auch wirklich sehr nett, und waren für ein paar kleine Gespräche offen. Das war schön ! Meiner Thailändischen Frau hat es auch sehr gefallen Die Chili ist dort auch wirklich scharf! Man bekommt in Deutschland nur sehr selten so gute Thaichillis 5 Sterne verdient!

HIDDEN GEM!!! We stumbled upon this little hole in the wall and we are absolutely mindblown. The place is very tiny and at first sight not too inviting but the food is incredible. The ladies who run the place cook everything right in front of you - the food is fresh, authentic and delicious. We are coming again soon!

Ein wirklich netter kleiner Laden mit frischem selbstgekochten Essen. Keine Standard Soßen wie bei jedem anderem und keine Geschmacksverstärker. Das Personal bzw. die Köchin ist auch sehr nett und freundlich. Die Preise sind wirklich gut für diese Qualität...Kann ich jedem nur empfehlen!!!
