Really good Thai food, tastes very authentic and nice plating. One of my favourite Thai restaurants in the city! I highly recommend - but book in advance as the place is small, especially during winter season.

Good selection, a fairly large menu, and especially a great tea menu. They also offer appetizers and desserts. Everything was absolutely delicious :) Taking the leftovers home worked out well, and they still tasted great the next day. Good service. Small restaurant, good restrooms. Good value for money.

The owner is incredibly friendly, and the food is authentic Thai. The dining room is rather small, and unfortunately not quite as cozy and welcoming as the staff. Nevertheless, we will come back.

Only those who know it or have been tipped off will find it. Whoever finds it is absolutely lucky: Since Mao Thai withdrew from the neighborhood many years ago, this is by far the best and most reliable Thai option between Kollwitzplatz and Volkspark F'hain. Truly delicious food at absolutely fair prices (even for the drinks...). So, if you make it to Käthe-Niederkirchner, congratulations! Definitely try: Gai Hoh Bai Deuy, which is marinated chicken fried in a coating of scented leaves, served with a homemade plum sauce – finger-licking good. Also good: The teas. Don't be put off by the ambiance – it's not up to par with the rest, but it doesn't bother you too much. Maybe they'll do something there soon anyway. Otherwise: amazing service, helpful, friendly, and accommodating – you immediately feel like you, as a guest, are the focus and are being looked after with genuine hospitality. Thanks again for a lovely evening.

We traveled from Dresden and arrived ten minutes before closing time. They still prepared our food, even if it was just for takeout. We were very happy...........Thank you very much.

Great tofu salad with a large portion of rice

A cozy restaurant with a wide selection of Thai specialties. I had a vegetarian Tom Kha Gai soup and a vegetarian green curry. Both were delicious.

We ate the Käng Ped and Kao Man Gai—it was delicious! The portions were very large, and the service was friendly and helpful. Some of the best, if not the best, Thai food I've ever had. Highly recommended!

Absolutely amazing Thai food! I went one night with a friend and had the chicken cashew dish and a chicken starter with plum sauce — both were delicious. I was so impressed I had to come back the very next day to try the papaya salad, and it did not disappoint. Fresh, flavorful, and full of authentic taste. I’ll definitely be back again soon!

The food was excellent and the service was very friendly. You order a main course and get extra rice. The place is small but nice, and there are four tables outside. We paid €65 for two starters, two main courses, and drinks. The value for money is great.

Good chef, cheap ingredients. Waiter recommends another restaurant when ordering. Addendum to the cheeky answer: a single Thai eggplant in the meal. Papaya salad with kohlrabi and no crab, but with cheap shrimp. Also, lemon instead of lime. In which region of Thailand is this prepared?!

Love everything. When I took the first bite, I almost started crying. Tastes like it's over in Thailand. Like mom's. Like home 🥹 And the people who work there are almost Thai because they're extremely nice and friendly. And they do it all with a good mood and a smile. This is where I get my authentic food 🥰🇹🇭 This is the place to go for a quick bite.

Split a few dishes here with my friend and everything was amazing! We especially liked the papaya salad and tom Kai soup. They brought out a big bowl of rice and everything went so well together.

The dishes are very authentic, delicious, and very well-seasoned. 😋. It immediately transported us back to our Thailand vacation. Very fresh ingredients and thus incredibly colorful food, whether it's a soup, a salad, or a curry. I'd recommend it at any time, but making a reservation would be a good idea, because when we were there, many people were turned away.

The fried chicken as appetizer was the star of the show! Both the chicken red curry and tom yum were fresh and tasty. The portions were very large so definitely worth the price. Really kind owners who made us feel welcome!

I am glad I started my trip to Berlin by eating at this restaurant. The food is good and quite close to what you find in Thailand. The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming. What struck me during the two hours I spent there was how every table was full and every group was deep in conversation. I did not see a single mobile phone. Connecting with others is one of the main reasons we share a meal, and this place reflects that beautifully. I truly appreciated it. If I could offer one suggestion to the owners, I would add a second server. One struggles a bit when the restaurant is full.

Very nice Thai restaurant in Prenzlauerberg hood in Berlin. Food was delicious, and really almost identical with food you can have in Thailand : ingredients, flavors, spicyness, texture. Service was fast and welcoming and overall we greatly enjoyed the ambient of this cool place. We had a very good green curry with chicken, red curry with beef and green papaya salad accompanied with Singha beer. Not to miss, definitely The Thai place to go when in Berlin 👍👍👍👍👍🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Very small but fine restaurant with very friendly staff. The food was really delicious, nicely presented and pleasant to eat. However, it could have been a little harsher. The homemade sweet and sour soup is recommended. [It was spicy :o)] In terms of price, the restaurant is also completely okay. The two of us had a starter, main course and dessert including drinks for 35/person. We'd love to go there again.

Even though the waitress didn't speak English, she was super friendly! The shrimp fried rice was delicious, as was the seafood curry! This is my third time at this restaurant and it always surprises me!!!

We’ve been here twice since we discovered this place and we will come every chance we get. Amazing flavours, extremely fresh food, and lovely people. A small hidden gem that is genuinely among the best in this city.

Extremely unfriendly. Went in early on a Wednesday evening and were greeted with a shake of the head, immediately turned around and left us standing at the entrance. Not recommended. I would have liked to try it, but I can't judge the food.

We eat there regularly with the company. Very tasty, good portions and friendly service. Nicely decorated inside, right on the street outside. Parking spaces are gambling in the area, space in the restaurant is limited, but reservation and ordering in advance is possible and recommended if you want to go with several people. Payment cash or by card.

Great Thai in a nice area (Volkspark Friedrichshain is around the corner). Six of us wait there at 5:00 p.m. By 6:00 p.m. all tables were full. Reservation is therefore recommended. We enjoyed the authentic meal under the eyes of the reclining Buddha. Prices ok. Service quick. We'd love to come back.

5 stars is not enough for this place, this is 6/5 establishment. Incredibly fresh and tasty! And they offer Prik Nam Pla. Prices are right. My favourite thai in Berlin and I have been to almost all of them. I had Pad Kra Pao and Tom Kha style soup. Mind blown.

On my first visit to Taleh Thai, I was amazed by the quality and authenticity of the food. The only point of criticism is the drinks prices, which seem too high in comparison. I find a 0.75l bottle of water for €8 to be overpriced. Update: The operator questioned me and claimed that the 0.75l bottle of water costs €7 and not €8. Today I checked the card again and found that the 0.75l bottle of water still costs €8.

Nice, small thai resturant. We first couldn't really find it since it's behind construction but the actual atmosphere is great. The service was a bit slow and I dislked the fact that they allowed random people selling newspaper (for example) who were disturbing us the whole time. The food was quite salty nor was it really the best. 7/10

Very tasty, very nice, pleasantly quiet and relaxed atmosphere in the afternoon. Portion size was also good and the price was reasonable. Unfortunately there is scaffolding in front of the door at the moment, but it is open normally. Large selection of teas and also beautifully served in a small metal pot and delicious. Tom Kha soup also looks great in a warm metal stand. Rice too. 41€ for two people with two delicious starters, Tom Kha with rice of which we took a small portion home with us and a dessert and two teas is absolutely fair.

Delicious food, there were 8 of us in total and everyone enjoyed it.

“Simple restaurant with noodles, soups and curries” in the Google description doesn’t really describe it. I think Taleh Thai in Prenzlauer Berg best approximates the cuisine I know from Thailand. The spice and spiciness are not as understated as in many Asian restaurants. The extensive menu contains many dishes that I can't find anywhere else in Berlin and some that I didn't even know about. A big difference to the usual offering of curry red/yellow/green/Massaman with tofu/chicken/pork/beef/duck crispy. The courts have their own signature. Some taste a little different than elsewhere, but always better.
