Good prices, tasty food, friendly staff..

Nothing special, but okay for the price. Unfortunately, a part of the appetizer was forgotten. One of the main courses was completely forgotten, but was later delivered. They refused to accept card payments, or only upon express request. Wouldn't come again.

Great food, fair prices. The store was 70% full, and we only waited 5 minutes for our food.

A friendly Thai restaurant with delicious food and fresh, homemade lemonade – highly recommended! The dishes were very tasty and authentic; you can tell the love and care goes into the cooking here. The ambiance is simple and could perhaps be a bit more upscale, but everything feels warm and homely. The server was friendly, if a bit reserved – probably just a long day. Overall, the restaurant gives a down-to-earth, honest impression, probably a nice family business that puts its heart into it. I'd be happy to come back!

Mid place, definitely doesn't deserve so much stars... Ordered fried rice which was super fat and oily. The orders were getting mixed up, even if there was not so many customers. Waiting time pretty long, even just for drinks. Overall the taste was really nothing worth recommending.

It is and remains a fast-food joint, not a restaurant. After our arrival, the waiter quickly wiped the glass plate with a damp cloth, which was more of an excuse than a clean, as the plate was still dirty and now even wet. This is symptomatic of the entire restaurant; everything was just spit on. The salmon with rice must have long since passed its expiration date; it smelled strong, not to say stank. Because service seems to be a foreign concept there, and the waiter, who was more focused on his cell phone than on the customers, simply refused to be beckoned, I placed the plate on the counter and explained the problem. At least the rock-hard salmon was taken back without a fuss. The other dishes (duck with peanut and coconut milk) had good sauces, but the duck meat was gristly and dry, inferior.

My husband and I stopped here for dinner. After German food for a several days straight, we were looking forward to a different cuisine. We ordered Red Curry and Pad Thai. The curry was mediocre lacking significant flavor, however, it was finished. The Pad Thai was nearly inedible. The noodles were hardly cooked and the sauce was overwhelmingly bland. My husband, who was extremely hungry, took three or four bites and decided he'd rather be hungry than eat a meal so disappointing. Overall, this is probably the worst Thai food we've ever had.

I was there today and waited for over 20 minutes. I sat there and waited until I could place my order but what happened to the waiter? She kept walking past and would rather serve other people. I felt like a complete idiot. Everyone else had ordered. I sat there and waited. After 25 minutes I had had enough and got up and wanted to leave. The terms and conditions said what about paying and I was supposed to pay for something I couldn't order and I didn't have any food or drink. I said to them and just said thank you for the waste of time. I'm there so often, every time it's been great but today it's absolutely terrible. I'm really angry and there were only 10 people there. I'd prefer not to have any stars today.

The best Chinese food I've ever eaten in my life. The spring rolls are a MUST. I had to have another one. I didn't expect to come on a trip to the Black Forest and have Asian food as my favorite. 10/10.

Honestly, I was disappointed with this restaurant. All the dishes had a distinct lemon flavor. The portions were small. The food overall tasted average. The location was a plus because the restaurant wasn't on a busy street. The prices were reasonable.

The food was delicious; my father and I really enjoyed it. It was quiet and relaxed, and the waiter was friendly and helpful. I would definitely come here for the rest of my life. 10/10, truly top-notch.

Unfortunately, the food wasn't tasty. The vegan duck was over-fried. The accompanying sauce was also not good and was far too thick.

Delicious Thai food with generous portions! The red curry with tofu was rich and flavorful, served with perfectly cooked jasmine rice. The spring rolls were crispy and paired nicely with the sweet chili sauce. But in my opinion, the food was bit oily and the veggies should have been cooked well. Nevertheless the restaurant has a Cozy atmosphere and nicely presented dishes. Would definitely come back!

Not again. I wouldn't recommend it. The food was below average. The employee was unfortunately incompetent. He didn't realize that in Asia, eating with chopsticks and a spoon is standard. I asked for chopsticks, but he only brought chopsticks and no spoon. When I asked for a spoon, he, as an employee, complained to me, as a customer, that I should just say everything at once and that he didn't want to run over 20 times. I haven't seen such a rude employee in the last ten years!! However, he voluntarily ran over to other tables several times because he constantly had to ask what people had ordered. Oh yeah, he also didn't know what a shandy was... I ordered a shandy and got a strange response asking if it was supposed to be sweet (what kind of question is that??)

Yes, but only if you have time. Otherwise, not. We had a very long wait. The food is okay. My noodles were very bland, but the rice was delicious. Overall, a very nice restaurant. With good food for the price and solid service.

Everything was very good and plentiful. The pad thai was great. And the chicken wok with rice and vegetables was just as good. I recommend it.

The food is excellent and very delicious. The Tom Yum soup was delicious. Next time, I will order it sour and without sugar. The fried rice was delicious. The beef with rice, No. 58, was a great choice. I will return to this restaurant later. The only downside is that the food is delayed.

The food here is very mediocre and the service is nothing special. My friend told me that her negative review was reported and removed so I am so curious to know how long this one will last! Don't be fooled by the 4.6! Many Asian restaurants in Germany do this thing where they ask Google to remove negative reviews.

It was super delicious! I had order 24. It was slightly spicy. A little more rice would have been nice. But I'll definitely eat here again. Best wishes

I was at the restaurant for 35 minutes and had already paid for my food. I told the staff that I was in a hurry because my train was coming in 30 minutes. When I paid, there were no other customers. About five minutes after I paid, the lady at the counter took a phone order from another customer. Later, that customer came, picked up their food, and paid — but they got their food before me. I had been waiting the whole time and had paid first. I was really shocked and disappointed. The staff knew I was in a rush, but still didn’t prioritize my order. When I asked about it, she just said, “Ah ja, your order soon,” without any explanation. **"She was speaking with her colleague in a language I couldn't understand, and it came across as quite disrespectful."** I usually come here after my evening shift, but after this experience, I don’t think I will anymore.

Quiet place, the food was spectacular, the lady made a great effort to understand us even though she didn't speak English. We haven't had better rice anywhere else. I would go back to Germany just to eat here.

A very disappointing experience. When we arrived, we were completely ignored. So we found our own seats. This may be standard in this restaurant, so it wasn't a big deal. My meal (gong bao with tofu) came with a sauce that didn't deserve the name. The consistency was more like jelly, not to mention the strange aftertaste. The vegetables, except for the zucchini and the one piece of bell pepper, were tasteless. So I tried to eat only the uncontaminated rice. When clearing the table, we weren't even asked if we liked the food (or why not). After all, our plates were still half full. I can't recommend this Thai restaurant to anyone.

This pad krapao isn't pad krapao, it's some kind of mush. Thai basil alone doesn't make pad krapao! No fried egg, no minced meat, no flavor even remotely resembling that. You should be ashamed of yourselves.

A very attractive restaurant. The food was good and served quickly. Outdoor seating under umbrellas. The whole thing is in the building's inner courtyard.

Excellent food, inexpensive and nice ambience. Unfortunately almost hidden behind Edeka. Highly recommended.

Update: The company attempted to have my review removed for alleged defamation. However, after I provided evidence and the receipt, Google ruled in my favor and reinstated the rating. I therefore recommend being careful with other reviews too. The food was acceptable, although a little greasier than I would prefer. The cooked vegetables seemed fresh, but unfortunately I can't say the same about the chicken - it was overcooked and had an unpleasant texture. They also brazenly charge €3.20 for tap water (see third picture). Service was painfully slow, and some entrees arrived noticeably later than others. To make matters worse, the waiter spent most of his time loudly watching football on his phone while sitting at a neighboring table. Overall the experience was disappointing and I definitely won't be returning.

Take a long time to order and check out even when there is not too many people. Not a suitable restaurant for lunch. The keeper then accuse me for defamation on my comments without aggressive word, try to delete it. This is clearly not decent or honest. Please noticed they are trying to manipulate the comments. With this behavior, personally I suggest it is better to enjoy food some other place and the scored can be very overestimated.

Unfortunately, I had a very disappointing experience - the food in particular did not meet my expectations in any way. The taste was hardly edible for me. It is also noticeable that many critical reviews appear to have been deleted, which greatly distorts the current positive rating average. I therefore recommend not to rely solely on the average rating (in my opinion, that is definitely not the truth). There are definitely many better restaurants and snack bars in Freiburg.

The food is decent but not very authentic. The service was very mid. When my friend told me that their bad review was removed because of "defamation", I was suspicious and came to try it. Now it is apparent to me that it is true, that's why this bad restaurant can maintain their 5 star rating. They just report all reviews coming from Asians!

There’s nothing I love more than discovering a family-owned restaurant that serves great food. Delicious, fresh and great value. Summer rolls were delicious as was Pad Thai and Pho.

Very solid food in the “fast food restaurant” Thai Chi. It came very quickly indeed. The wontons were already crispy and the sauces for our main courses tasted good. Unfortunately, the blackcurrant spritzer was inedible because it contained colorings, flavorings and sugar rather than actual juice.

Food was actually okay for the price. Sometimes it tastes good. Other times the same dish tastes completely different and like almost nothing and the sauce is watery. The quality is always different. Unfortunately the service is not that good... Not attentive and you wait forever until you can pay and get noticed. Plates from the starter stay until the end. Not comfortable. Ambience, well. There are flashing Christmas decorations hanging in the restaurant all year round. Who like to hang out. Then it looks nicer :)

The taste is not good. Poor service attitude. If you eat at the restaurant and want to pay by card but do not order a drink, you will have to pay more than the price shown on the menu. Not worth it at all

We were there for lunch on New Year's Day. We were served nicely and there was only one other guest besides us. Unfortunately I have to say that my meal and that of my companion was inedible. The sauce on our dishes was an indefinable goop that we couldn't eat. Not only was the consistency of the food disgusting, but the taste was also a disaster. Either the sauce was too thick or it was simply not fresh and stale. We told the waiter this and still had to pay the full price, even though the dishes were virtually untouched. Clearly NOT a recommendation.

Loved the atmosphere and food. There was a lot of food options. Whatever we ordered was delicious. We ordered spring roll, fried rice, fried noodles, Thai rice bowl and their home made lemonade.

The food was the biggest letdown. Fried rice was undercooked, rice was sticky, tasteless no eggs but was mentioned on the menu. The peanut sauce is no where near to an actual peanut sauce, the chicken meat did not taste like chicken. I would not recommend. There are far better options for quality food in the area.

Quite friendly, fast service, we get close to real Thai cuisine, which is rare in Germany where many Chinese pass for Thai. The big downside, a hot coke without gas, certainly coming from a large bottle, spoils my meal a little, that's why it's missing a star

The food was delicious, although the vegan duck included real duck. The service was very chaotic; First the wrong dish was made, then the cutlery was forgotten and the same thing happened at other tables. The ambience is pleasant.

Very tasty and inexpensive! The noodle soups are absolutely recommended, especially the Bun-Hue is awesome! However, the Phad Gra Phau is not spicy at all, but rather sweet (typically Chinese?) The lemonades and iced teas taste nice and fresh and sweet, also very tasty Also recommended is 52 Gong Bao with beef (nicely tender, also possible without cashews) and the Tom Ka

The food was good and cheap. Unfortunately, the friendliness of the waiters was not what you would expect from Asian staff. There is still room for improvement. The restaurant is plain and simple. There is also the option to sit outside.

I took a little detour for this restaurant because I recommend the 5c and the 60c. I enjoyed it so much that I definitely recommend this place. For dessert there is coconut ice cream made from half a coconut.

The food is average, but also very cheap, the atmosphere is more like a canteen. Ok, if you want to eat something quickly.

I ordered take away and the food was ready quickly and hot. The wontons were also very tasty. However, the rice tastes very strongly of lemongrass (and therefore slightly of cleaning products). Tofu was so-so. All in all okay, but nothing special.

We were there in a larger group. Unfortunately, in some cases there was almost no meat at all under the breading and the quality was not very good. When we were told that one person didn't have any meat under the breading, they looked at us very puzzled and told us to wait. Unfortunately the service didn't come back. Instead, a boy came who handled the situation very friendly, but since everyone had already finished eating, the friend didn't want any more food. The bill did not take into account the fact that one meal could hardly be eaten. The Christmas decorations at the beginning of April are also somehow irritating and a women's toilet was completely peed. Unfortunately it's no longer the quality that I was used to here before.

I used to always enjoy coming. Nicer dishes since the change of tenant. However, the tofu in the meal was inedible because it tasted like dish soap. The service then seemed irritated. But seems to be a common problem. What a shame! Ambiance is nice with the interesting table. March/2024 In the meantime, according to Consumer Info BW, there were problems with food inspection...

Had 2x duck to pick up and is again very good quality to fill you up, recommended.

I had the crispy baked duck with mango sauce, rice and vegetables and it was simply fantastic. Even though I was 10 minutes late and then had to walk 10 minutes home, it was still fresh and amazing. And that for just €9.90. Unbeatable!

Convenient location near the main train station and @courtyardbymarriott hotel. The atmosphere was nice, with 3-d wooden models under the table glass and pleasant music playing. I ordered the Thai Chi with Tofu. The menu said it was "one pepper" spicy, but it had no spice at all. The flavor was good, and I will certainly go back, to try other dishes since the prices were great. I had the main Thai Chi dish and two glasses of red wine (Spatbundurger) for 16 Euros!

Das essen schmeckte nach Reinigungsmittel und die gebraten Nudeln konnte man fast nicht kauen. Es war ungenießbar. Als wir es dem Kellner sagten wurde er unhöflich und wir mussten für die zwei Gabeln die wir gegessen haben die Hälfte bezahlen. Meinen Freunden und mir war den ganzen Tag schlecht und konnten kein Essen mehr sehen. Wir mussten uns mehrmals übergeben und hatten Durchfall.
