So gut wie keine der vegetarischen Optionen ist vegetarisch, in allen Saucen ist Fischsauce drin.

Achtung: Keines der vegetarischen Curry Gerichte oder vegetarischen Gerichten mit Soße ist vegan. Leider wurde mir, als ich im Restaurant gegessen und diesbezüglich nachgefragt hatte, vom Kellner mitgeteilt, dass die vegetarischen Enten Gerichte mit roten Curry vegan sind. Insgesamt habe ich sicher bereits 8 Mal dort bestellt, da das Essen so lecker war. Nun gab mir eine Frau am Telefon Auskunft, dass alle Gerichte mit Soße, Fischsoße enthalten. Sehr enttäuschend und damit leider für Veganer keine Option mehr.

Gute Auswahl, frische Zutaten, unschlagbare Preise.

Das Essen war wirklich lecker. Ich hatte knusprige Ente. Diese war eine der besten Enten, die ich je hatte. Der günstige Preis ist bemerkenswert. Der Service ist freundlich, höflich und echt schnell. Ich spreche eine Empfehlung aus. Danke an Lam Asia :-)

Solides Essen, unschlagbar günstige Preise, gute Auswahl und recht große Portionen. Von außen macht es nicht viel her, inner ist die Einrichtung in Ordnung. Der Service ist freundlich und kompetent. Keine Parkplätze direkt am Restaurant, ist an einer vielbefahrenen Straße.

Leckeres Essen zu sehr günstigen Preisen ! Auch Essen zum mitnehmen. Crispy Chicken mit Sprossen und Reis war sehr köstlich. Sehr freundlich Mitarbeiter.

Wir fahren seit ca. 3, 4 Jahren einmal quer durch Freiburg (von Littenweiler), um beim Lam zu essen. Nein, kein Durchschnitt, sondern richtig lecker! Wir hoffen, es gibt Euch noch lange!

Ausgezeichnetes Essen, insbesondere das gelbe Curry mit knuspriger Ente war sehr gut. Preis-Leistung unschlagbar.

Guter Preis und gutes Essen, kurze Wartezeit – ein wirklich gutes asiatisches Restaurant. Die Schärfe ist genau richtig, perfekt für den lokalen Geschmack 😉

Absolute Empfehlung! Spontan in der Mittagspause ins nächste Lokal gegangen und wir wurden voll überzeugt. Die Preise sind aus einer anderen Zeit, die Portionen groß und außerdem frisch, heiß und super lecker. Die Cola Zero kam schön gekühlt an den Platz und das Essen auch ziemlich flott. Das Ambiente ist sehr angenehm gestaltet mit einigen netten Details. Der Service war außerdem sehr aufmerksam und super freundlich. Alles in Allem ein sehr gelungener Besuch, wir werden sicherlich noch die ein oder andere Mittagspause hier verbringen.

Sehr leckeres asiatisches Restaurant, in dem wir seit Jahren immer wieder gerne essen. Die Qualität ist konstant sehr gut, die Gerichte sind frisch, aromatisch und reichlich. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist wirklich top – man bekommt viel und gutes Essen für sein Geld. Fazit: Seit langem eine unserer Stammadressen – sehr zu empfehlen.

Unfortunately, it's not as good as it used to be. The food was prepared incorrectly, with no meat at all, even though the packaging showed the correct number. However, the price was charged at the normal rate, which was a real disappointment.

Lam is one of the best Asian restaurants I know! A real insider tip in Freiburg. Everything is just right here. Super fresh, delicious food, friendly, competent service without long waits, and very large portions for a truly exceptionally reasonable price! The drink prices are also incredibly reasonable. I wholeheartedly recommend this Vietnamese, family-run restaurant with a heart that's rarely found these days!

The food is good but the guests are partial and the owners are questionable. When I was there, I was very obviously bad-mouthed by another guest because of my supposed origins. I came in, sat down and at the next table someone was talking about my origins without addressing me directly. Very unpleasant. I ignored it but the guest then stopped and asked me directly whether I worked here or was a guest. I meant I was a guest, then the guest sat back down at his table and continued to insult me ​​indirectly. The restaurant is small, meaning everyone could hear it. And the funny thing is, this guest has already done this to someone else before me, because someone else went up to him and apologized for being so upset beforehand. Then came a justification that he was in the Bundeswehr and had therefore already served the German country. As soon as he left the door, the guest started saying that he could have been lying. And when this guest paid, the owner came and said "that he has been living in Germany for a long time" etc. According to the motto "I am a good foreigner". Now you could say, what's the problem? The problem is that this guest harassed me, couldn't stand the fact that I ignored him and in the end everyone including the owner acts as a "good foreigner" and then indirectly gives the guest the right that I'm a "bad foreigner". “I am a foreigner”. I never came back after that. If the owner had at least not tried to be good with this guest, then I would have been ok with that, but no, the opposite was the case. Actually, you should protect all guests, but if they are harassed, that's fine. So yes, if you don't look German, it's better not to come. It's somehow ironic that something like this happens in a Vietnamese restaurant run by a Vietnamese and the behavior is then tolerated, almost praised. I bet the guest said as soon as he left "yes, but maybe the owner hasn't lived in Germany that long and is lying" like the other one before.

Based on the average 4.6 star reviews, we went to eat at Lam Asia with high expectations. From the outside the place doesn't look particularly inviting. Things don't get any better inside, the furnishings are already showing their age and are rather careless. There's also no Asian music playing, so the overall atmosphere wasn't that great. But what counts is the service and the food. Service was absolutely fine, but the food was below average. Here we were consistently disappointed with the taste and quality. However, this also fits with the rather affordable prices. Therefore 3 stars from me

I ordered takeaway food – flat rice noodles with vegetarian duck – which unfortunately was completely inedible. The food was dripping in fat and the taste of the food was no longer perceptible. There were also a lot of onions instead of a variety of fresh vegetables. I won't eat anything here anymore, it's a shame about the food.

The typical ingredients were missing, the finishing touches, some lemongrass, some coriander leaves. Apart from a lot of onions, some zucchini, peppers, there were no vegetables. Still, the food was delicious, especially the coconut sauce and fried noodles. The accompanying roast duck was also very tasty. Portions were large, value for money was good, only, as described, a little lemongrass, coriander and more vegetables (it's not that expensive) wouldn't have hurt.

We had lunch at the Asia Restaurant Lam for the first time today and were thrilled with the service and the selection of dishes. The food was very tasty and the service was also very friendly. It is a small restaurant and you should definitely make a reservation. People kept leaving who couldn't get a seat. We'll definitely come back.

It is a small Asian restaurant with cozy, typical furnishings. The prices are very cheap. You should definitely make a reservation, as all places are often already occupied by reservations at the beginning of the opening time.

Unfassbar. Das Essen ist hervorragend und die Preise sind sensationell niedrig. Ein echter Geheimtipp, wenn einem Geschmack wichtiger ist als Ambiente. Ich hatte Tintenfisch mit Sellerie, Ananas und der Bemerkung „sehr scharf“ - und das war er, sehr scharf und lecker. Mega.

Cred că este bine Cotat, ținând cont că multe alte Restaurante sau Chioșcuri sau închis în Ultimul timp. Personal Agreabil în frunte cu Șeful lor.

Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist unschlagbar! Essen: Ich esse hier seit 10 Jahren und hatte noch NIE etwas zu beanstanden. Alles schmeckt wirklich super gut! Ich kenne sehr viele Asiatische Restaurants und zähle das Lam zu meinen Favoriten in jeder Hinsicht. Die Portionen sind zuvorkommend! Service: Makellos! Perfekt. Super nett und zuvorkommend. Keine langen Wartezeiten und mehr will ich nicht. Ambiente: Der Außenbereich ist an einer belebten Hauptstraße und ist dennoch elegant gemacht. Der Innenbreich ist klein und fein. Schöne Dekoration und sehr sauber. Es gibt auch hier nahezu nichts zu beanstanden. Endworte: Ein tolles Lokal mit super nettem Personal und gutem Essen. Man kann es sich absolut leisten und man wird nicht enttäuscht! Es lohnt sich wirklich. Das ich nach 10 Jahren erst diese Bewertung schreibe ist der größte Kritikpunkt und der geht an mich!
