The Tegernsee Valley was always an absolute highlight for us. We regularly drove an hour there because we loved the food and the atmosphere. But what we experienced on Sunday evening was simply shocking. We got to the restaurant around 6 p.m. and there was almost nothing going on. That could actually have been a good sign - enough time for the kitchen to prepare the food to the usual quality. But instead our food was on the table in less than five minutes. And unfortunately it tasted exactly the same: bland, watery and completely lacking in the quality we were used to. My sauces were a complete disappointment - more water than flavor. My iced tea peach? A sad joke! Maybe a quarter of iced tea, the rest just tasted like tap water. And then my friend's pork knuckle - completely dry, as if it had been lying somewhere all day. The herb? Unappetizing and hardly edible. But the worst came afterwards: immediately after eating we felt really bad. We had severe stomach pains, nausea, and just felt miserable. And all this even though we hadn't eaten anything else all day. It almost breaks our hearts to have to write a review like this because we have been loyal to this restaurant for years. We spent so many lovely evenings there and took the long drive so often because it was simply worth it. But after this experience we are certain: This was our last visit. We will never come back!

Went there late in the evening after arriving. There was a beer and a snack (Obazda and Bavarian sausage salad). It was very tasty, the service was friendly and the decor was great.

Reliability with reservations...staff always friendly and attentive...restaurant manager has everything well under control I can only recommend the Tegernseer Bräuhaus!

We only came here spontaneously because everything in the area was fully booked and we were pleasantly surprised. Service was great, food was good and the atmosphere wasn't too loud. We had meat planzl and veal liver.

The drinks where tasty but the staff was not that friendly

The classic Bavarian vibe and look of the hits the spot, but the food, especially the roast pork (Knuspriger Schweinebraten) and pork knuckle were underseasoned were tasteless, almost no salt. I would go for the grilled sausages, if you don't mind a very small portion. The service was OK, but not great.

Service and restaurant atmosphere really nice. Unfortunately, the food was more of a mass fare, and I wouldn't recommend the knuckle. I'd definitely like to have a beer again, but I'd rather eat somewhere else

My girlfriend and I were in the Tegerseer in the valley, the first impression was a beautiful establishment and very friendly waiters. My girlfriend was very happy with her fish dish of the day Didn't eat it - absolutely great, that should also be addressed by the waiter in the kitchen. We'll be back and for me there's only the Lüngerl!

Great location and great service. Food was okay. Our server was very attentive and the service was quick. She was helpful in recommending dishes to order. The pork was a bit overcooked and tough, but the flavor of the sauce was great. The fried chicken dish was lacking in flavor and seasoning.

Eravamo un gruppo di 11 persone la sera dell’ultimo dell’anno. Purtroppo ci ha servito il peggior cameriere del ristorante. Atteggiamento scontroso, arrogante e a tratti offensivo. Sicuramente aveva più voglia di finire il servizio che soddisfazione i clienti. Ad un certo punto ci ha detto che la cucina era chiusa e non potevamo più ordinare altro, mentre gli altri camerieri continuavano a servire gli altri tavoli. Il cibo da 1 a 10 era 6, abbiamo sicuramente mangiato meglio altrove. Esperienza per tutti e 11 negativa

Jason welcomed us warmly at the entrance and seated us at a nice table. I had Ochsenbackerl and I have to say they were the best I've ever eaten! I can only recommend the Tegernsee in the valley!!! The staff is very friendly and you feel absolutely welcome here :-)

Hidden Gem in Munich – A Must-Visit! If you're looking for an unforgettable dining experience, this restaurant is a true standout. The service was top-notch, especially from Vasileios, who went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and cared for. The star of the menu? The Kaiserschmarrn – hands down the BEST we’ve ever had! After trying this dish at several other places, nothing comes close to the quality and flavour here. Skip the overhyped, 'historical' restaurant nearby with its mediocre food and unfriendly staff. This place is the real deal, offering amazing food, warm service, and a memorable atmosphere. We can't wait to come back on our next trip to Munich!

Very cozy local and unlike the other restaurants we visited around the same time, it was quiet enough here that we could talk to each other, which was very relaxing after a long morning :) The Schweinebraten was delicious! We also ate the hamburger which also tasted good. It did what it was supposed to do for an enjoyable lunch. I would come back to this restaurant!

I was here with my family on Christmas Day. Beer was excellent, of course, and I have to say, so was the food. We always like to come back!

Visited you for the first time today. We both ate the Brauhaus Schnitzel with potato and cucumber salad. It was super good. It's been a long time since I've had such a good schnitzel. The waiter was super friendly and attentive. Absolutely okay in terms of price. This makes eating out fun again. Will definitely come back.

I don’t think I have ever had such poor service at a restaurant. I went here with some friends for a beer and the waiter immediately took our order, which was nice. Over 15 minutes later the beers were still not there. Then, a man who I assume was the manager came up to us and said “are you guys going to order or what? You’ve just been sitting here and you need to leave if you have no intention of ordering.” I explained to him that we had already ordered with his colleague, but he rudely stated that we had not and again accused us of loitering. Finally we put in a second order with him and another 10 minutes later the original waiter finally came with our beers. While this was extremely annoying and certainly put a damper on our mood we enjoyed our beers. Finally, when it came time to pay the manager/waiter who bullied us for “loitering” came over with the bill. My friend opted to not tip him because of the poor service and his unprofessionalism. The waiter then told him that he NEEDS to tip him at least 10% because it’s standard in Germany. My friend did eventually generously give him the 10% that he certainly did not deserve. Overall, I walked away completely embarrassed because my friends were visiting from out of town and I was the one that suggested we grab a drink there. I am a tour guide here in town and have recommended this place as I had a good experience a few years ago but I will not only no longer recommend but strongly suggest against people going to this establishment. DO BETTER

We read that it’s usually much busier, we came a day after Christmas so I think because of that it was not crowded. The moment we came in we were seated, unfortunately not at a very good place even if there were maybe three other tables taken and every other table was free. They sat us at the table for two at a bad location, it was cold and next to the cash register only so we wouldn’t take up place for more people (the whole time we were there the most of the tables were free). The waiter wasn’t very kind and also didn’t know english very well. We ordered baked cow schnitzel (9/10), bavarian straw pork meat loaf (6/10) and apple pie (10/10). Schnitzels were good, bus in the sos there was a hair, I asked for a new one which the waiter didn’t say a word to, took it out of my hand, looked and left. I got a new one a few minutes later form the other waiter. For our taste the meat loaf was not so awesome. In the other hand, the apple pie was amazing as well as the beer. Tissues that are on the table were dirty and the toilet was not very clean. Our total bill was 54€. In conclusion, if you have nowhere to eat go there, but I wouldn’t recommend it.

When we wanted to pay yesterday and we told the waiter each of us has 5 beers and two schnapps, a friend of mine should pay 17 beers and 2 espressos. We tried to explain normally that it couldn't be within 3 hours, the two espressos were still fine but the 17 beers were excessive. I always write down what I drank on a lid and that just couldn't be right. We also noticed that there were different tables on the bill. But there was no talking to the waitresses. We threw down €100 and left, a colleague overdid it and knocked over two chairs. The police came outside. We had a normal conversation with them and agreed that we were right, we weren't allowed in anymore and we won't be going there anymore. Unfortunately we will no longer be consuming beer from this company.

Had the worst diarrhea after having lunch here. The food came so quickly after we made our order which already made me think “this cannot be fresh”. It also tasted like packaged sauces, the meat was chewy and the Spätzle are tastier from Lidl to be honest. The waiter was really accommodating and kind tho, but the kitchen and its quality is outrageous.

Restaurant open until 2am (with food service and not only beer 😅) Good German food and also nice place for breakfast menu! Highly recommended for a nice German atmosphere without too much noise ☀️

We went three person , two of us ordered and one of our friend didn’t want to drink , they told ‘it is obligatory to eat or drink something, and this is not bus station’ with humiliating face and attitude. Employees were super rude. We didn’t like the place and left. They were super good to german speakers.

Were here just to watch football and drink beer and that was great. We didn't eat anything but what passed us looked great.

We went as a family to dinner and it was pretty good. They left us the menu in English and the waiter served us in the same language. The food was very correct, we ordered the Wiener Snitzle and the beef meatballs. None of them disappointed, although it is not to say that there is no other like it. The price is somewhat high, although normal for the area.

It's racist haha. They pointed out the English pronunciation and deliberately gave me a different type of beer and a different size than what I ordered. They even did a performance of throwing receipts as a service^^~~ It may not be the same for everyone, but the staff in charge was the worst. If you want to experience it, sing “Bekim Adjini”! (For reference, if you don't ask the price, they will add 10% as they please.)

Auch wenn uns das Konzept der Zutrittsbeschränkung nicht verständlich war (mussten an der Tür warten obwohl drin viele Plätze unbesetzt waren, ist das kein Grund zum meckern. Service extrem schnell, Bier top und die Speisenauswahl lässt kaum bayrische Wünsche offen. Das Essen ist dann aber maximal Mittelklasse! Die Schnitzel waren, meiner Meinung nach, frittiert und das Fett nicht unbedingt taufrisch. Egal, mit Bier runterspülen hilft.

We stopped in on a short trip and were totally thrilled: from the reception to the comfortable seating, the friendly service and the great ambience, everything was just right. It was a great evening. Hopefully we will see each other again soon.

We were walking in the area trying to decide where to eat. We came in and the service was great. My husband and I ordered the pork medallions in mushroom cream sauce with spaetzle and it was delicious. My son ordered the veal meatballs “starter” and he really enjoyed it. That came with some mashed potatoes and the mushroom cream sauce.

Historic place in Monaco unfortunately too confusing. A river of people constantly looking for a table. The food is good and the beer is the HB of the oktoberfest

This is for tourists. But not for Munich residents. The beer glass is only 2/3 full Portions are so small that you need double. Can be forgotten. NO REPEAT

As usual, terrible treatment from the waiter even though he doesn't have much to do, he is irreverent and has to take the orders in a hurry. Menu only in German. He mimics the orders even when speaking to him in English. He explains himself in approximate Italian and doesn't understand a thing.

The restaurant deserves a plus point for the kitchen, which stays open very late, so you can still get something to eat after going to the theater after 10 p.m. The ambience is also very nice, traditional, but you can't get a beer under 0.5l, which is expensive and the glass isn't even filled to capacity. Unfortunately the food was very greasy and a bit bland. The waiters were friendly, but didn't really seem to be trying hard.

Si usted está buscando buena comida este no es el lugar para usted. El servicio estaba bien, pero muy poco ambiente, tenía la sensación de cantidad sobre calidad.

Cozy pub with good food and service

A great restaurant, great decor, the terrace is also nice. The food is good, the beer is very drinkable, but very poorly poured. What's nice is that it's not so crowded at lunchtime. A bit expensive but it's okay in the city center. Our waitress was super quick and always attentive.

Nice brewery, but it disappointed me. Delicious beer. I ordered a large portion of dumplings with mushroom sauce and only got one dumpling. Unfortunately I didn't get enough of it and I don't think it's fair for the price. How could the portion be even smaller? The waiter seemed rather demotivated and didn't even bring us cutlery or ask if the food was good or ask again when we paid. very unfortunate. I'll probably come back to drink beer, but I'd rather get food at another brewery :)

We found this place by luck, the food was excellent, the service was excellent and very accommodating. We had 8 people in our party. The beers were fantastic. We ate lunch there and it was great to be able to sit for a little bit and take a breather. There was no rush to get us out of there and it was a busy day. The snitzel was excellent.
