Only recommended. The staff are all very nice, it is very big. You can eat inside and outside and there is even a large winter garden. The food was super tasty and of course there was a free meal on the house ;). Always my pleasure

I was there for the first time with my neighbors. The restaurant makes a very cozy impression. The employees are very friendly, the service is extremely organized. The food tastes excellent. The prices are reasonable and definitely not too expensive. In addition to starters and main courses, we had various drinks and averaged just under €40 per person. I will eat there again. The staff was friendly. For example, you would like 19.00 euros. B. for the two small meat skewers with fries, tzatziki and a small salad. The skewers were too small for this price and had obviously been prepared in advance and then reheated. This is how the appearance of the meat can be explained. Another indication was that the meat was dry. The food came surprisingly quickly after ordering. The fries weren't crispy. The stuffed bifteki were lightly seasoned. For the prices charged here, you can expect more.

Since you can only write one review for a company, I just have to adapt the current one... Spending the turn of the year 2024/2025 in the Taverna Oracle was, as always, wonderful. Here the price/performance ratio is calculated, which is simply fair. In addition to the music from perfect DJ - Olli and Chris - a 4-course menu was served, which indeed presented a piece of Greece. From the first minute to the last minute of the morning, the loving boss, her husband and all the service staff were warmly involved with the guests and, alongside the DJ, contributed to an all-round successful turn of the year. We would like to say a big thank you to all employees at Taverna Oracle. It is and remains a dream - Taverna Oracle. A piece of Greece in Berlin. It couldn't be more authentic!!! All service employees are genuine Greek compatriots who, with their warm manner, always make your stay at the Oracle a completely successful day. Thanks also to the loving boss and her husband, who, as Greeks, also present a piece of Berlin's culture from their homeland. The food and drinks are incredibly good and never fail to enchant the palate of the reporter and his companions. Once Taverna Oracle is always called Taverna Orake!!!

So such a huge place is actually quite interesting, especially the terrace with lovingly arranged plants. It's actually a really nice place where you can eat Ustipak or something with sheep's cheese and minced meat when you get home from work. Yesterday I was hungry and thought I would cycle by. Unfortunately I had forgotten the bike lock and had to put the bike in front of the window and wanted to sit at the table where I could watch my bike. I come in the door and there's probably the innkeeper at the bar. I stand there politely and modestly and would like to ask if I can pay with the card because I don't have any cash with me. The white-haired man stares fixedly at the beer glass and rubs and rubs so that the glass shines like crystal. Then finally, as I walk up to him, he briefly says “yes” when I ask for a ticket, then I go to the seat. Sit in front of my bike. In the meantime, a huge group has sat down at several tables. Wirt is probably in a rush because he has to cook 50 lunches now. He comes over and just points to the other table and says to me “Here!” That means that I, the little dog, should get up and sit at the other table. I explain to him about the bike. He says, “but I need the table.” I could put my bike somewhere else where I can see from the table. I put my gloves on and go out and just keep cycling. Then I had a delicious meal at Schlachter Haase in the Märkisches Zentrum. I will now always cycle straight there. I hate to say it and if everything else had been nice I would have kept it quiet: But the place also smells really moldy.

A Greek restaurant that does what it promises. Despite the staff shortage, the service is great, the food is great and you can sit outside and inside wonderfully.

We have been going there for over 20 years. Unfortunately, since the store was updated, service has decreased. The prices are now really steep, around 2-3 euros more per dish and that within a year. It's a shame, we always enjoyed being there.

Today we were guests there again for a long time. The outside area of ​​the restaurant was quite busy but not full. Long wait and a menu was only available upon request. The employees - not all of them - can skillfully ignore a guest. Have a good evening or enjoy it... none. We as guests know this differently. The food itself is OK but the price-performance ratio is not. 19.00 € for 2 mini meat skewers, a dollop of tzatziki + a bowl of "water sauce" and 3 potato wedges is almost a disgrace. Everything was carelessly arranged without a stick. Unfortunately, the high prices don't match this. It's a shame it used to be really good before the restaurant was renovated. I really enjoy eating there. Everything is perfect in this restaurant. Service was very friendly, food was really tasty and the atmosphere was really nice.

Chicken was raw. Picture and concession from the waiter are available. A cappuccino was offered as compensation. When I asked about the side dish, I was bluntly told: “It’s all on the menu”. 20 minutes after we requested the invoice we only received it after asking again. Last but not least, they wanted to keep the remaining amount as a matter of course. The last time I ordered there, the tzatziki was not delivered to the gyro plate. When I called to describe it, I was accused of lying. So it was definitely the last time for us. Such unfriendly customer service for the price is simply unbelievable.

The restaurant itself is beautiful. But that night there was live music and you couldn't have a conversation. And the service wasn't that good either. Wrong drinks were brought. The employee didn't recognize drinks in the glass or the different, albeit similar-looking, foods.

I had dinner there and went there on the recommendation of a friend. Unfortunately, I couldn't find the service on site that I know from other Greek inns. The staff seemed stressed, but tried to be friendly. The food (gyros) was rather "middle class". I can get the same quality at a street snack bar for a different price. The fried eggplants just tasted like frying fat that had been used for far too long. The grilled pepperoni tasted burnt. All in all, rather disappointing and I wouldn't eat there again because the price-performance ratio isn't right. Sorry for the honest review, but that's how it was at that moment and that evening.

Very nice Greek restaurant on the edge of the Märkischesviertel. Very good price-performance ratio. The garlic bread with tomatoes is sensational and can actually be eaten as a main course in combination with other starters. The food is absolutely high quality. Best Greek I personally know at the moment. Whenever I'm in Berlin I go there if possible.

We spontaneously chose this restaurant today and I have to say, I am positively surprised, I have rarely eaten at a Greek restaurant where the food was almost perfect 👌🏻The meat from the fillet skewer was still slightly pink on the inside, the gyros meat was crispy and not over-seasoned, the fries are crispy and the salad is fresh... The price isn't exactly cheap, but if I leave a restaurant satisfied, then I'm happy to pay a reasonable price for it. The only thing that could have been a little better was the service, but everyone was very friendly and tried hard, it was Valentine's Day and very full. Thank you for the great food, we'll be back 👍🏻

The best gyros in all of Berlin are available in many variations with the best side dishes and ingredients; very well maintained draft beer!! Yesterday (February 3, 2024, 5:00 p.m. - 11:00 p.m.) was Greek evening. We have never experienced such a cozy evening in Spain. The two musicians continued to play until midnight, even though it was actually long past work. We hadn't experienced great Greek folk music from the heart and a great atmosphere with the guests for a long time. Keep it up .... Had a total of 3 courses, garlic bread, fish, gyros, all very tasty and quite inexpensive, even after the VAT increase.

Eat good. Fast and friendly staff. You can sit outside and inside. They made the entrance like a winter garden. This means you are protected from dirt from the trees in summer and the smokers are not exposed to drafts or rain.

Wir waren nach einigen Jahren mal wieder im Orakel und waren mehr als angenehm überrascht. Sehr ansprechende Einrichtung, nettes Personal und das Wichtigste: das Essen war sehr lecker und hat uns überzeugt. Preis-Leistungsverhältnis stimmt auch. Wir werden jetzt bestimmt wieder öfter ins Orakel einkehren.

Nach langer Zeit mal wieder in Orakel gewesen und es war sehr schön! Ambiente und Essen waren super - wir kommen gern wieder öfter ;-)

Ewig lange Wartezeit auf Essen und Getränke. Das Fleisch, egal ob Gyros oder Spieß, war sehr schlechte Qualität. Möglicherweise aus Abschnitten und Resten zusammen gebaut. Am Ende gab es nichtmal einen Ouzo. Ich werde diese Restaurant nicht mehr betreten.

Zu zehnt vor Ort, leider die einzigen Gäste an einem Donnerstag Abend gegen 20:00. Das Lokal besteht aus drei Räumen, der Wintergarten wird gerade saniert (für mich absolut okay im Winter... ) dem Hauptraum und einer großzügigen Erweiterung. Das Essen sowie Getränke kamen schnell und die Hauptspeise für uns Zehn nahezu zeitgleich an den Tisch. Die Portionen waren ausreichend groß und von guter Qualität. Grüße und Dank gehen an den freundlichen Wirt. Meinerseits eine Empfehlung.

Hallo an alle die gerne essen gehen wollen ! Vorab der Grieche ist gut besucht, im Sommer kommt man sich im Außenbereich vor wie im Urlaub. Wir kennen das Orakel schon ein paar Jahre und gehen so mit 15 bis 20 Personen mit Reservierung bei Gelegenheit essen . Komischerweise immer wenn nicht viel los ist oder wie es am 30.11.23 um 17 Uhr der fall war läuft da garn ichts rund . Es ist kein Witz !!! Unserer Tisch (18) Personen und ein weiterer Tisch mit ca. (8)Personen ,mehr Gäste waren da nicht ! Wir kamen uns vor als wenn wir nicht willkommen waren? Getränkeanfrage nach sage und schreibe einer 3/4Stunde Essenbestellung hat wieder gedauert. Essen war unter aller Würde das haben wir so noch nie erlebt . Es war jetzt schon das 3. mal mit unserer Gruppe in den Jahren ! Was ist da los ? Im Sommer wenn der Laden brummt ist es ok, ist der Koch geflüchtet oder was? Also vom hören sagen kommt das jetzt ziemlich oft vor .Wir hoffen auf Besserung ! MFG. Eure Gäste

Wie immer leckeres Essen und nette Bedienung !

Sehr hübsches Restaurant sowie Außenbereich, leider im Herbst besucht. Gemütliche Atmosphäre sowie ein sehr nettes Team und freundliche Gäste. Das Essen war sehr gut und reichhaltig. Leckerer Wein und absolut kinderfreundlich. Einen Spielplatz gibt es direkt neben dem Restaurant, gut sichtbar von innen. Alles in allem immer wieder einen Besuch wert.

Es gibt hier Senioren- Portionen! Sardellen sind lecker!

Das Essen war sehr lecker. Die Portion sehr gut. Alle Menschen vor Ort waren sehr freundlich.

Das Ambiente ist sehr schön. Leider war das Essen kaum genießbar. Da wir dieses Restaurant schon zweimal ausprobiert haben und jedesmal unzufrieden waren, werden wir nicht wieder hingehen.

Ich gehe oft zu diesen Griechen. Das Essen schmeckt und die Gastfreundlichkeit ist sehr gut. Ich kann dort hin laufen, somit macht mir der spendierte Ouzo auch keine Probleme.

Also das Ambiente draußen (drin war ich nicht) ist sehr schön, das Essen ist in Ordnung, gibt definitiv bessere Griechiche Restaurants aber es ist nicht schlecht, das ein Spielplatz für die Kinder vorhanden ist, ist schön allerdings für die Kinder auch frustrierend wenn die dort stehenden Bobby Cars und Co alle kaputt sind, brauch meiner seins nicht mehr schenke ich es gern dem Restaurant vllt mal auch eine Idee für den ein oder anderen der bei seinen Kindern aussortiert, der Service ist auch in Ordnung bisschen freundlicher und aufmerksameres Personal wäre schön, wenn der Laden brechend voll ist seh ich gern drüber hinweg wenn die Servicekräfte im Stress sind aber das war nicht der Fall. Fazit Hab ich meine 3 Jährigen dabei, gerne wieder wegen dem Spielplatz ansonsten würde ich doch ein anderes Griechiches Restaurant bevorzugen.

Nur auf Kreta isst man so gut wie hier! Wie immer wenn wir griechisch essen, essen wir nur Vorspeisen. Der Service war excellent, wir bekamen sehr schnell alles serviert und alles war geschmacklich hervorragend, frisch und wie im Urlaub! Die Location hat auch Urlaubsflär und wenn man hört wie die Kellner miteinander griechisch sprechen dann ist alles perfekt!

Im Nachhinein war das Essen nicht so gut

Das Essen ist schmackhaft, da gibt es eigentlich nichts auszusetzen. Meine Frau und ich bestellten eine Platte für zwei Personen mit Pommes Frites. Es bekam jeder einen Salat...soweit so gut. Dann kamen die Pommes und gefühlte 5 Min. später die Fleischplatte. Warum kam Beides nicht zusammen...hmmm. Desweiteren finde ich die Getränkepreise sehr teuer. Ein 0,5 l Veltins für 5,50€ und eine "0,4 l" Johannesbeerschorle für "5,80€" (Fünfeuroachtzig)... das ist schon eine Ansage.

Lecker gemütlich alles passt. Wir kommen wieder.
