Ach Niko Ach in Berlin

We've been going there for years and always enjoyed it, but lately the portions have been getting smaller and the ouzo less frequent. What a shame.

We were here with a larger group. The service was efficient, well-oriented, and organized. Excellent! Despite the location on Kudamm, the prices are very reasonable. The menu is extensive and offers delicious dishes.

The food was okay, but the value for money was terrible. A small souvlaki with fries costs around €20. We actually ordered pork, but got chicken instead. When we asked the waiter, we were told a new plate would be served soon, but it never arrived. We tried several times to reach a waiter to pay – no response. Even after one of them told us we'd get the bill right away, no one came. The service is definitely reminiscent of Greece; I've experienced something similar there before. In the end, we had to go to the restaurant ourselves to pay €100 for a mediocre meal with terrible service. And lo and behold: the restaurant wasn't even very busy. Oh, Niko, oh…

We were so impressed with the food that we ate there two days in a row for the Armbrot (arm bread). The food is very filling. Highly recommended for two people, as there's a grilled platter. A little tip: try to reserve a table.

Everything was very good, lots of choice... Very friendly and professional staff. I really recommend it.

The store is generally a real gem. The quality is okay, the people are friendly, the service is good, and the prices are great, so I give it three five stars.

Was at Ach Niko Oh yesterday, without Dimitri everything is nothing. First time at the restaurant was in 1994. Been a regular for years since then. I was shocked. It was so impersonal, we weren't noticed. I had the feeling that people were glad we were leaving the restaurant. With Dimitri, the soul of the restaurant went too. I will never come back. I don't know why the restaurant was still pretty full. It can't have been the food. The beer was on the table in 30 seconds. Probably stale and then refilled. That was 5.50 for 0.5l. Not acceptable. Shame on you. Wanted to give it a few more stars. You can't. Was just there, it keeps getting worse. I had a glossary which said 23€ on the menu and 2 large beers at 5.50€ each. When I wanted to pay, a waiter came around the corner with a digital device that said 40€ on it. I was so shocked that I didn't say anything. I also gave a 5€ tip. No receipt showing how the €40 was calculated. Nothing at all. That was the last

An authentic Greek experience in the heart of Berlin. The mezes were delicious, full of flavor, and beautifully presented. The fish was fresh and perfectly cooked. The atmosphere was cozy and the service very friendly. Definitely a place I would return to. Highly recommended for Mediterranean food lovers!

We were here for the second time today, and just like the first time, everything was great. The staff generally seems friendly, and the food tastes good!

Really, really good! If you're not a meat fan like me, Greek food can be difficult. Not here! The tzatziki is delicious. The beetroot is delicious. The soup is delicious. Sitting in the sun on the Ku'damm with it: it's something special. I recommend this restaurant for the excellent quality of the food.

Unfortunately, it's past its prime. It used to be very good, but the food and service have declined considerably.

🇰🇷 Overall, this was a satisfying Greek restaurant. First of all, the staff were all friendly, and their attentiveness, even during a busy schedule, was impressive. They refilled my glass immediately, whether before, during, or after my meal, demonstrating the true spirit of Greek hospitality and helping me digest my meal. The food was also excellent. The grilled teller I ordered as a main dish had a perfectly smoky flavor, with no offal or off-flavor, and was incredibly flavorful. The Greek wine that accompanied it was a unique, fruity wine, distinct from typical white wines. It was a truly memorable and unique experience. One disappointment was the reservation process. I had requested a special table for my birthday, but upon arrival, there was no special seating or instructions. The outdoor seating was already full, so I was directed indoors. While the seating wasn't bad, I didn't feel like I was being treated to a special birthday, which was a bit disappointing. I'm usually very touched by these small touches, but this time, they were lacking. Nevertheless, the food and service were generally satisfactory, so I think it was a good dining experience. It's a place where the individual feels welcome and safe, and where the individual feels comfortable in a situation where they have a good time. They like to eat out of the glass – whether it's a glass of wine or a glass of water – and then enjoy it or go to Essen – and feel completely comfortable. Dadurch konnte man die typisch griechische Gastfreundschaft spüren, und es trug sogar dazu bei, dass das Essen besonders gut bekömmlich war. Auch das Essen war hervorragend. Der Grillteller, den ich als Hauptgericht bestellt habe, war perfekt zubereitet: das Fleisch war von einem wunderbaren Raucharoma durchzogen, völlig frei von unangenehmem Beigeschmack und voller Umami. Dazu probierte ich einen griechischen Wein, der sich deutlich von einem klassischen Weißwein unterschied. Er hatte ein starkes Fruchtaroma und war ein besonderes, bereicherndes Erlebnis. Ein kleiner Wermutstropfen war jedoch die Reservierung. Vor meinem Besuch hatte ich um einen besonderen Platz gebeten, da es ein Geburtstagsessen war. Bei meiner Ankunft stellte sich jedoch heraus, dass weder ein spezieller Tisch vorbereitet noch ein Hinweis auf eine Reservierung angebracht war. Da die Außenplätze bereits voll waren, wurde ich im Innenraum platziert. Der Tisch war zwar keineswegs schlecht, aber eine besondere Geburtstagsatmosphäre konnte ich nicht wahrnehmen, was etwas enttäuschend war. Gerade in solchen kleinen Gesten finde ich persönlich oft großen Wert, doch diesmal blieb dies aus. Trotzdem war es insgesamt ein sehr gutes kulinarisches Erlebnis, da sowohl die Qualität der Speisen als auch der Service überzeugten. Wer in Berlin authentische griechische Küche genießen möchte, dem kann ich dieses Restaurant auf jeden Fall empfehlen.

Seafood is definitely not their speciality. We tried the fish plate for two, and everything was dry, lacking freshness and flavour, and very expensive. I am sure they are better with meat than seafood, so my advice is: don't try fish or any seafood here.

This was my second time here and it was highly disappointing. The first time it was actually lovely, the food was nice, the waiters were polite, we got ouzo shots, there was live music. This time everything was subpar- the food was not that great- the best part was the tzatziki.. the waiters were not welcoming or polite. We made a reservation online and it seemed it was “just for one hour”… Just disappointing.

A fantastic meal right on Ku'Damm. I'm very satisfied. Our order was taken quickly, even though it was very busy, and we were soon seated outside on the terrace with cold drinks in the beautiful weather. Everyone was friendly and cheerful, a lovely atmosphere, the kind you'd always want. The lamb shank and schnitzel were perfectly prepared, leaving nothing to be desired. We'll definitely be back to this restaurant soon; they really put a lot of effort into it, and everyone notices it. The quality, courtesy, and ambiance immediately impressed us, and after our visit, I can say I'm 100% thrilled. Thank you so much, see you soon!

The food has become very expensive. A little too expensive. I won't go there again.

The food is good and Greek. Taramas is, in my opinion, too potato-heavy, but it's good.

Very disappointed. If you know anything about food, you won't like it. This restaurant used to be top-notch and is now a complete flop! For a meal costing €30, you'd expect a bit more meat. It was a strange-looking salad, flavorless fries, a blob of tzatziki (tasted like store-bought), and the waiter was more than a little clumsy. I can't recommend this restaurant; there are far, far more than 1,000 better restaurants in Berlin!

Sooo good!! ------------ Update in July-2025: This place used to be our fav restaurant in Berlin, but our latest visits were unfortunately not so satisfactory, compared to the price. Food is still really good, but - we were charged extra for the side salad. For the same dish we ate before, we were never charged for side salad. We couldn't really get it. - we learnt that live music on fridays is not available in summer. Even the normal music started very late at almost 21:00, we could not really enjoy the vibe as we want, without the music - somehow our reservation was not visible to the restaurant for our last two visits, even though we made it a day ago. We could still find a table, but it was not the best experience

We had a reservation, which turned out to be necessary. We had a great outdoor seating area. The service and food were excellent. We'd love to go back when we're in the area.👍😎

We were here during the week in June 2025 and spontaneously got a seat in the evening. The atmosphere was great, the service was extremely attentive, fast, and friendly. The food was delicious and of very good quality. We particularly liked how the guests were seated closer together at the tables. That's the tradition in Greece. You eat with strangers and have a great time together. Great! We'd love to come back!

Nice Greek restaurant in a good location. The food is delicious. The service is friendly and welcoming, always with a good joke on their lips. The renovations are tasteful. Everything is clean. The price range is a bit high, but then you're on the Ku'damm. Sitting outside is a must! However, you usually need a reservation for this. Then you can people-watch and marvel at all the wonderful people there. The occasional round of ouzo is extra fun. Before you know it, you'll easily be sitting down. I'd be happy to go back!

A truly great Greek restaurant in Berlin! The food was authentic, fresh, and incredibly delicious – the mezedes and grilled meats were a particular highlight. The service was very friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. It feels like you're on vacation in Greece. We loved it so much that we now eat there twice a week. We arrived at the restaurant late at night with two people. When we asked for a table for two, we were asked to wait a moment. It took less than two minutes for a table and two chairs to be brought outside especially for us. Service: 6 stars. Our order and drinks took less than five minutes. The relatively large side salad and the delicious white bread shortened the perceived wait for the food. Less than 20 minutes after arriving, our food was on the table. I've never eaten such delicious rice noodles in a tomato sauce as in this restaurant. Even the super lean and delicious bifteki had to wait. The tzatziki was also very good. The generous portions ensure that no one goes home hungry. Food: 6 stars. I rarely rate restaurants. But this one truly deserves it! If I could, I would give it 6 stars. Highly recommended! Great Greek food and a welcoming atmosphere, yet table service could be improved. Started with a raki on the house. Opened with a tastefull Greek salad, and finished hard with pork souvlaki.

We visited the restaurant and were very satisfied! Unfortunately, Dimi is no longer there, but luckily, many of the old team are still there. The food is always great! I've loved coming here ever since the shop opened in the 80s. Lots of memories! Always a little bit of a vacation.

After 20 minutes, there's no waiter in sight. As a guest, you're treated like air. Absolutely not recommended.

We also thought Ku'damm was a rip-off... but we had such a good time. The food was fantastic. The waiters were so funny. We'd go back anytime!

We booked here for a group of 17 people and everything was perfect. The staff were friendly and the quality of the food and taste was excellent. And we even asked for their own drinks several times, they brought them to us and did not charge an extra amount. All in all, I will definitely go again.

Very good for a Greek restaurant. Unfortunately, the main course arrived almost at the same time as the starter! A minus point.

After the renovation and the price increase, the quality has unfortunately dropped significantly - NOTE: the calamari should be offered as a herb dip and not tzatziki... doesn't fit at all!

During my visit, I was not impressed by the food, the ambience or the service. Of the dishes ordered, the Giros in particular comes across as very dry. The fries were very over-seasoned on all plates. The small salad served in advance is a nice gesture, but seems rather lackluster to me. Unfortunately the tablecloth had fire extinguishers and oily stains. It could happen, but it wouldn't be necessary. The prices are appropriate for the location, but unfortunately not the quality. Everyone can see for themselves the quality of this restaurant.

The name somehow fits; the restaurant is a mass processing for tourists (my impression) Gyros was really okay and they made an effort, but no empathy - so I was given an ouzo with the non-alcoholic beer, fries were forgotten and then the wrong side dish was simply left on the plate (that was meant nicely but not wanted) - the side salad was obviously prepared in the morning and was wilted and mushy. The prices are simply too high for that

Sometimes you're unlucky, sometimes you're lucky. We were more than lucky today, the shop was very busy outside and inside, but we managed to get a table for two near the counter around 7 p.m. Friendly welcome, order taken promptly, salad and an ouzo on the house and our main courses (a gyros and chicken variation) were more than delicious for us. The beers we ordered came quickly and the odd ouzo on the house too... The food was good, the staff very friendly. The restaurant is highly recommended!

Unfortunately, at least the Ach Niko Ach didn't really convince me. This was partly due to the carelessly presented salad starters and the service that was a bit too intrusive, which made me feel a little pushed out. In addition, the house white wine was not too strong for my taste. The quality of the meat (gyros) was okay. But overall it's not a feel-good atmosphere.

Familiar and delicious...like a vacation when we are with you

Best Greek restaurant ever: The food is fantastic, especially the very extensive selection of cold and hot appetizers—it doesn't need anything more. The seating inside is comfortable, but it's exceptionally beautiful outside: sunny and interesting on the boulevard. And the service staff is always in a good mood and truly accommodating. We always enjoy coming back!

We went there for dinner yesterday after two weeks. There's nothing to complain about the quality of the food. Unfortunately, after a change of ownership, the prices were raised for the second time within a few months. That's completely unacceptable, given that VAT is also set to be reduced again soon. It's not a particularly smart move, as it's sure to alienate a number of regulars. We usually went there twice a week for a long time. The staff is super friendly! Maybe they should reconsider!

I have to admit, I was dissatisfied with the food. I ordered a mix plate for €28. There was a loveless pile of fries and various types of meat on it. The gyro was dry. There wasn't much to the lamb chop. Souvlaki were missing. And the chicken breast fillet was ok. I don't want to rate the drinks. Keep everything standard. However, if you want to drink cheap ouzo, you always get a shot refilled the whole time. But if you order the good ouzo in a small bottle, you will quickly notice the difference. My summary: it almost reminded me of the old days of Romiosini, except that real Greeks are employed here. No photo, not worth seeing

Best Greek place in Berlin, always amazing atmosphere

We had a very disappointing experience last Saturday, there were four of us and we had reserved a table online and the waiter said that there was no reservation. After we showed him the email where we had confirmed that we had reserved a table, his face was consumed with confusion. You could tell that he wasn't keen on us at all :) after a long wait where we were standing in the middle of the restaurant without a clue, I asked the waiter what was going to happen now, do we get a table or not because we've been standing in the middle of the restaurant for 10 minutes and he got grim and Then they were rude and went somewhere else. I just think it's a shame because we used to enjoy visiting the restaurant as a family and were there very often and the waiters were always nice and warm, but what we experienced last week has nothing to do with the people from before.

Ach Niko Ach is an absolute gem in Berlin, where you really get to experience a true Greek vibe and have great food! The service is very good and friendly, entertaining and the food is very delicious! They also have vegetarian options! Make sure to reserve a table before you go!

We (four people) had a reservation (online) at 5:30 p.m. The waiter looked at the book for minutes but my name wasn't in it. He asked me how I made the reservation and I showed him my confirmation of the reservation. Suddenly he said we should wait because his colleague had to check. We stood in the middle of the restaurant waiting for minutes. When my cousin asked how long we had to wait, he answered us completely rudely and with hand gestures and simply told us we had to wait for our colleague, which to be honest was too stupid for us! We were there to break the fast. When we told him we were leaving, he didn't care and just shrugged his shoulders. If I could I would give 0 stars and we will not visit this restaurant again and I do NOT recommend it!

Unfortunately, we had made the mistake of driving or walking past this restaurant for years. We were of the opinion that a Greek on the Kudamm was definitely only for the tourists there. Unfortunately, that was a wrong opinion. Since our favorite pizzeria right next door was full again, we said to ourselves, now let's give it a try. Plus, it was finally sunny and you could sit outside. Result: A very good and cozy restaurant, friendly and fast service. Good selection of Greek specialties and drinks. The first time we had tzatziki, Greek salad and of course gyros. Plus a Greek rose. Everything was very tasty. Especially when it comes to salad: It is becoming increasingly difficult to get a good, tasty salad in a normal restaurant. This one was very varied and tasty. All in all, we were very satisfied and will definitely come back.

Yesterday after training we wanted to go to Piazza Bra, but due to the holiday there were no free places. Went past the Ach Niko Ach Zigmale and never tried it. Today it happened. Very nice service and above all delicious food! It started with a fresh salad and homemade garlic bread, really tasty. Then the mixed grill plate, everything grilled very well, only the gyros could have been a little crispier. The price is quite moderate for the Kudamm. A week before we went to a Greek restaurant in Blankenfelde. The food there was comparatively much worse and much more expensive. It was super delicious! The staff is very friendly, you just feel comfortable. Authentic Greek cuisine.

Despite reservations for two people, a free table was first looked for for us and when we arrived at the table we were told that we could only spend an hour there. As the hour went on, we noticed that this had been communicated to all guests. It was very loud and busy in the restaurant. The food came very quickly and you didn't have a chance to have a comfortable conversation because it felt like you were at the train station. It felt like they were out to make a quick buck. The food was delicious, the fries were soft. The staff always tried to be friendly, but they all seemed very rushed. The ouzo was on the house. Prices were ok. Bread was delicious.

Nice Turkish-Arabic restaurant. Owner no longer Greek (imprint). Turkish music. Expensive but portions large. But it doesn't help either.

What must be emphasized right away - huge portions - a dish for 2 people turned out to be a dish for more. Despite our sincere intentions, my friend and I couldn't finish it. The appetizer is also very plentiful, so you definitely won't leave this place hungry.

Salads prepared in advance so that the cucumbers, red cabbage and tomatoes are already dried. Grischicher salad was negative to three quarters only cucumbers, a shame. Prices for what was served to you were overpriced. Grill plate for €31, a lamb chops two small pieces of beef and a small piece of chicken breast.

Very tasty cuisine with a great selection of dishes and options. Friendly staff and a cozy atmosphere, it could certainly be more comfortable, but it fits. It can get a bit loud when everyone is talking, but that's actually normal, the so-called station climate. You have to be a little lucky with parking, but you can usually find something in the immediate vicinity. The prices are fair.

Very good Greek restaurant. Good products, extremely tasty, prepared and used by friendly, attentive service staff. Since the restaurant is usually busy, the atmosphere is rather loud. But you're happy to turn a blind eye to the good food! Last but not least: there is an excellent correlation between price and performance!
