Nice little restaurant in the Nollendorfkiez. The food is more traditional Greek, but there are also some classics like you would find in most Greek restaurants. Unfortunately there is no beer on tap. Employees very nice and attentive. My gyro dish was quite good, but not spectacular either. My neighbor's meal, on the other hand, who had a traditional cooked meat dish, was really tasty, you can tell that the passion for the "real" Greek is lived. For dessert, in addition to the obligatory ouzo, there was also delicious lykkomades (I hope I spelled it correctly). Unfortunately payment with debit/credit card/NFC is not possible, only cash. That's why I'm sticking with just one visit.

Delicious food, friendly service, the kitchen takes orders even late in the evening, prices are not that cheap (salad with beetroot 11.50 EUR), you sit close together (even outside) and card payments are not accepted.

Very friendly staff, super delicious food. We had a starter plate and a grill plate for two people. The Aperol Spritz is great for the price. We'd love to come back.

Everything is just right here: the food is consistently delicious, beautifully presented, good quality and large portions. The service is very attentive, quick and friendly. You sit comfortably and there are also plenty of seating options outside. We will be back definitely!!!! We are happy to recommend it!!!

Vi fik kold/varm starters som var direkte røvsyg, alt for høj en pris for det på tallerken. Der manglede dolmades og feta, som jo er pære græsk. Så fik vi lammekoteletter som var sindsygt seje, så man dårlig kunne få kødet af benet og de smagte ikke af noget. Prisen var samlet set alt alt for høj for maden taget i betragtning og vi ventede næsten en hel time på lammekødet. Da vi skulle betale kunne man kun betale med kontanter, selvom de hverken havde oplyst om det eller skiltet med det. Tidligere på dagen betalte vi 7euro for 2 currywurst med kort men kunne ikke betale med kort på en restaurant hvor prisen var 71 euro. Ikke er sted vi nogensinde kommer på igen. Was in no way impressed by either the food or the service. Got hot/cold food which mostly consisted of some mashed potatoes and other indifferent food. Waited a very long time for the main course which was lamb. What we got were boring fries with the most chewy lamb we've ever had. You cannot pay by card. It didn't say anywhere. Will not come again.

Sehr kleines aber irre gemütliches Restaurant. Bedienung sehr freundlich und äußerst aufmerksam. Typische griechische Speisen und sehr positiv überschaubar. Die Speisekarten könnte man jedoch mal wieder optisch etwas aktualisieren. Essen war äußerst gutschmeckend und die Portion auch voll ausreichend. Preis auch komplett angemessen. Alles in allem-sehr zu empfehlen, wenn einer ein gemütliches griechisches Restaurant in Berlin sucht.👍

Really tasty! Not the usual completely over-seasoned, grilled food that you get in most Greek restaurants, but simply delicious, fluffy and rich. Even the ouzo is really good! And coleslaw not drowned in vinegar but with good oil! Always my pleasure!

Small tavern with maybe 30-35 seats. Very friendly waitress, responsive to individual requests. Obvious boss at the counter just as warm and nice. We really enjoyed the grilled plates before our concert at the Tempodrom. If the opportunity arises we will come back.

We have been regular guests there for several years. The food is always delicious and plentiful, everything is fresh and the vegetables are crunchy and with a bite. The service is Greek-friendly.

We came across this small, almost inconspicuous restaurant by chance. A restaurant with an unmistakable “Greek flair”. The service was friendly, nice, uncomplicated - just like you're used to on vacation. It is recommended to look through the "handwritten" menu - even if it is difficult to read, there are real Greek "delicacies" to be found there! The food itself was very delicious - Greek through and through! Not the German-style Greek food often found in other places! No, souvlaki here tastes like it does at the market in Kalamata - the connoisseurs among you know what I mean by that! All in all, the visit was worth it - a piece of Greece in the middle of Berlin!

The food is very tasty and the service is always friendly. Biggest problem: No card payments possible. Therefore minus 1 star. It's very comfortable inside. The portions are normal and there is also Greek food, not just the German meat plates that have nothing to do with Greece.

We stayed in Berlin for 3 days and returned here every evening. Authentic food, huge portions, warm welcome with always sweets offered. All this at a fair price.

Ich mag es kaum glauben - ich schreibe über ein griechisches Restaurant. Eigentlich ist die Landesküche generell nicht so meines, aber hier gehe ich tatsächlich des Öfteren hin. Es liegt sicherlich an dem herzlichen Willkommen durch die "Mama" und an dem wirklich guten Service. Im Sommer viele Tische draußen.

Veramente ottimo! Mi è sembrato di tornare ad Atene con questi sapori. Piatti abbondanti, buonissimi. La ragazza che ci ha servito sempre sorridente e molto gentile. I prezzi un pochino alti ma in relazione alla quantità è giustificato. Noi abbiamo speso sui 57€ totali per due persone con tutto quello che abbiamo preso nelle foto (vino, antipasto diviso, moussaka e pollo alla griglia. Il dolce era offerto). Da provare assolutamente se si è in zona. Complimenti!!!

Absolut lecker 🤤 sehr zu empfehlen. Total nettes Personal das auf jeden Wunsch eingeht (und sehr auf Allergien achtet !) Die Musik ist leider ein bisschen laut, aber das ist nur persönlich, es passt zum Ambiente. Gerne wieder !❤️

The food is not totally authentic to greek maybe. But their mezes were fresh. This is really important. And the waiters were extremely fast and kind. Something you cannot buy in Germany with money. Thank you.

Ausgezeichnetes Essen und super liebe Bedienungen. Die Inneneinrichtung versetzt einen direkt nach Kreta. Sehr familiär und obwohl es voll war, eine schöne Zeit. Komme auf jedenfall wieder!

Update 2023: Neues Personal bedient, übergriffig, teils frech, sowieso unpersönlich… voller Laden aber qualitativ schwach, Rechnung fragwürdig … für uns insgesamt nicht nochmal! Aus 2021: Der kleine familiäre Grieche am Winterfeldtplatz war einmal... Leider... Nur noch Masse, eng an eng und das in Corona Zeiten. Keinen Blick mehr fürs Detail (Salz und Pfeffer wünscht man vergebens)... Das Essen insgesamt hat leider auch massiv nachgelassen. Wir werden nach Jahren einen neuen Stammgriechen suchen und bestimmt finden.

An above average greek eating experienced. Mixed meats were nice and with heavy flavor. Loved it. Grilled chicken was a bit on the soft side, but still cooked. I would have loved some cold, marinaded and spiced potatos instead of ordinary french fries (wich were actually very well made). The tzatziki seemed far from home made. Watery with way to little cucumber, imho.

My wife and I ate there last night. John was just the best. He met us at the door, was very polite and not pushy. He recommended food to us that we normally wouldn't have ordered and it was fantastic 10/10. House red wine was also excellent. Staff excellent. I cannot rate this small restaurant highly enough. Taverna Kreta Minotavros is now our favourite Greek restaurant in the world so do yourself a favour and go there, you won't be disappointed. Thanks again John.
