I ate a rack of lamb which was good, but the environment is very noisy, making it a place just to eat and not to meet friends and chat.

The food is delicious and the price/performance ratio is right. The menu is good and should offer something for everyone. I can only recommend the grill plate with fries - the meat was really well seasoned, but unfortunately the fries were even less so. The coleslaw that came with it was also delicious. The service was really not good. You're almost tempted to ask if you can bring something else to the waiter. So neither courteous nor friendly. What's nice, however, is that you can pay by card (EC and credit). (I don't know what it's like in the snack bar next door, though.) Ambiance is fine. We sat in there, it was quite full, but still - as written - okay and quite authentic. I think people know each other and their guests here - which speaks for the restaurant. It is probably advisable to make a reservation during peak times

Har besøgt dette sted igennem de sidste 11 år. I år var det markant anderledes og restauranten er næsten blevet til en fabrik, hvor det handler om at få flest mulige igennem. Vi fik et bord udenfor, hvilket var perfekt da det var en dejlig sommeraftener. Vi bestilte en stor forretstallerken med kolde og varmeretter på. Denne er beregnet til 2 personer. Forretstallerknen smagte dejligt. Inden vi overhovedet var færdig med forresten kom tjeneren med hovedretten. Sagde bare ups og fik alt placeeret på bordet og smuttede igen. Mere så vi ikke til ham. Hovedretten var blevet større og med mere kød men det føltes vulgært når det hele går så hurtigt. Ikke en oplevelse.

Came here with my parents twice in a row. The paidakia especially, but also the salads and starters in general made them feel like home. Reasonable prices, very well cooked and great hospitality!

From waiting for a table, to getting the menu, to ordering, to getting our food, we waited close to 2 hours on a Sunday evening. The food (calamari and feta stuffed boulette) was average. Definitely overpriced for what it was. The waiters are unfriendly and clearly understaffed. The pita wrap from the fast-food section next door seems decent, but I won't be coming back to the taverna. There seemed to be quite a few elderly regulars there and I just don't get it.

Stood in the store no hello no nothing. Still ignored after asking. Didn't get any food, thanks for nothing. Customer service is very important here.

Very nice Greek restaurant. Great food, great service, great location. Very busy place. Outdoor seating full. Was able to get a window seat. Had the Spanakopita and land chops with a nice glass of wine. Food was delicious. Chops cooked excellent. Nice portions. Definitely worth a visit!

First and last time. I paid 14,50 Euros for a grill meat plate and got less meat than what you would get in a pita. Not even a full pita bread and half of the plate was filled with fries. That is what i call stealing. About the taste, they could at least use some salt.

I was there with two other people, we ordered gyros three times and got something else. When we pointed this out to the waiter, he didn't want to give us the goods we ordered. So we had to eat the other dish and it was disgusting!

This Greek, laid-back restaurant in Schoenberg, Berlin, has good service and very fresh food! I came here several times and was always impressed by how full it was yet with kind and efficient service. I dined on a very busy Saturday night at 10pm, surrounded by families who seem to be thoroughly enjoying themselves and couples dining outside. I had the gyros this time which was excellent, as were e the fresh fried sardines I had last time.

The souvlaki (or gyros) pita is very tasty! Above all, it tastes like Greece!!! The Loukoumades are awesome with real honey! Had lunch with the family once, well that's how it went. But I've eaten pitas a few times and it's always good. You could say that the pitas are heading towards the top 10 in Berlin.

Very tasty pita gyros and for dessert sweet balls whose name I unfortunately don't know. Prices are really moderate, you can't get a kebab anywhere else and especially not with the quality of the gyro

We ordered Gyros Pita to go. We pod 5.50 € per pita. The portion was rather small. The meat was ok, though it was served with fries only and a bit of a sauce in a pita bread. No salad at all.

Too noisy, food wasn't that special, service left a lot to be desired, customer got an overturned water glass with water in his back, there wasn't anything else served. The table frame was also too narrow and wasn't nice

It’s my favorite delivery restaurant. I order every two weeks in there. Whenever I want to eat meat I order Berkis. I highly recommend it, it’s delicious. Only the french fries could be better, but everything else is perfect.

I come from Böblingen near Stuttgart (uncool), I've been in Berlin for 18 months and I have to say I've really arrived. Berkis is my absolute favorite Greek restaurant in Berlin so far (I've already tried a few). The food is fresh, always tastes delicious and the staff there is very friendly. Very clear recommendation.

I don't like spicy food, but this was not even salted. The owner told me that they do not put salt on the fries... ok, but gyros without herbs/salt, really? Sorry, maybe I will give it another chance

We often go to Berkis, the staff there is very nice and it's great to sit and eat outside. Last weekend we were there for the first time this year and this time we took Gyros Pitas with us. So far, it's been pretty satisfying to eat, provided you're not overly hungry. When we got home, we unfortunately discovered that the price had been increased (which wouldn't have been bad on its own). Unfortunately, the proportion of gyros had also become significantly less, instead there was more cartilage in the meat, very little tzatziki, and there was apparently no longer any coleslaw, but there were plenty of fries. It's a shame, but that's it for now. If prices are increased, I at least expect the quality to be at least somewhat maintained. A pity.

Great Greek restaurant on Winterfeldtplatz. If you don't have a reservation, you'll be very lucky to get a table here, even during the week. We ate delicious gyro plates and had a small plate of tzatziki beforehand. It was a great stay with very tasty food, we would love to come back 💙

Small cozy snack bar on one side, restaurant on the other side. They share the kitchen and there is also a hatch. I can't say anything about the restaurant, I haven't tried it yet, but every time I went to the snack bar, the restaurant was busy. That actually speaks for itself. At the snack bar there is, among other things, very tasty Gyros Pita, which tastes just like you would on holiday. And they also have authentic Mythos beer in the fridge. As good as the snack bar is, the restaurant next door can definitely be recommended.

One of the few Greek restaurants in Berlin, where one can taste genuine Greek food. The service is absolutely great, and the waitresses are always kind and supportive.

The experience at the Berkis restaurant on Nollendorfplatz was an absolute disaster. Even though we had a reservation, we had to find a table ourselves because there was only one waitress on duty. It seemed obvious that she was only attending to one particular table, presumably a regular customer, as we waited over an hour for our five sandwiches. Even when the store was later overcrowded, there were still not enough staff deployed to handle the rush. The food was cold and the fries were so hard they stuck in your throat. Even paying took over twenty minutes. When customers sat down at a specific table, the waitress asked them to leave because the tables were supposedly reserved at 6 p.m., even though it was only 5 p.m. Additionally, customers who arrived at 5 p.m. were only given half an hour to order and eat their food, even though the meal itself took half an hour or more. All of this is in stark contrast to previous positive experiences I have had at the restaurant. A complete disregard for customer needs and unacceptable service.

the meat i tried was not bad to be honest, but the experience overall was really bad. i bought the merida paidakia on wolt and as you can see from the picture it should arrive with the rice, but no. both of them arrived with fries that i never asked and wolt customer service told me they tried to contact the restaurant to see what happened but after 3 days it seems they still didn't answer. i'm really disappointed by the restaurant and wolt too because the customer seems have no right for them and even when they make mistakes they don't try to make it right.

Well-kept, small Greek snack bar, with delicious gyrospita and souvlakipita, 5 euros each. The meat was tasty and juicy, tzatziki, yammi. There are also typical meze/starters. Highly recommended.

I ordered a pork gyros which costs 5 euros and I wanted to pay with card since they have POS machine but they said to me that I cannot pay with card a bill under 10 euros after finishing my dinner and without prior notice. They didn't gave me any receipt either which is tax suspicious. The food was good but overpriced and not so much quantity. So I don't know the German law on a payment transaction but that is not a good policy and if you want to eat something quick from this place you need cash

Small tavern with very simple furnishings, sometimes the seating arrangement is not very spacious. On the other hand, however, the food is really excellent and the prices are honest. Very kind staff. Possibility to book.

Es gibt viele Griechen in Berlin, nur wenige die so gut sind. Mein Essen war ein Traum, nicht überwürzt sondern genau richtig, die Beilagen einfach perfekt. Hier besonders zu erwähnen, es wird Biofleisch verwendet und der Taramasalat ist ein Gedicht. Der Service, sehr freundlich. Zu den Preisen kann ich nur sagen, bei einem so guten Essen habe ich nicht zu viel bezahlt. Vorzugsweise sollte ein Tisch reserviert werden.

Es war wie immer sehr gut.Die gegrillte Dorade der Hammer. Dann auch noch sehr nett und zum Schluss noch 3 Ouzos. Herz was willst du mehr. Der Saarländer

Piato Skaras (Grillteller) war ungenießbar. Die Rosmarin Kartoffeln haben null nach Rosmarin geschmeckt. Waren alt und haben nur nach Zitrone geschmeckt. Gyros teilweise verkohlt. Souvlaki Spieß war auch schon sehr trocken außen und verbrannt. Arnisia Pita (Lammfleisch) hat ganz gut geschmeckt, war aber fast nur Pommes drin. Alles in allem nicht empfehlenswert.

Kleines Gyros Die Portion to go für 5€ ist ein kleiner Klassiker. In beiderlei Hinsicht. Es ist seit langem ein Klassiker. Und die Portion ist schon recht klein. Eher ein Snack. Aber stets lecker.

I had Bifteki with cheese inside and Rosmarin Potato, the side dish was awful and not fresh potatoes. The quality is 2 star at most.

Berkis is the go to Greek Restaurant in Berlin. The staff is very friendly and the food iis simpy delicious.

Seit sehr vielen Jahren bin ich Fan vom Berkis-Imbiss und komme seit Jahren extra aus Friedrichshain hierher. Aber leider bin ich heute - wie auch bei meinem letzten Besuch - überhaupt nicht zufrieden. Irgendwas hat sich geändert - vielleicht Besitzerwechsel? Ich habe heute 2 Gyros Pita (ohne Tomaten) bestellt, und 1 vegetarische Pita . Meine Bitte 'ohne Tomaten' war wohl sehr verwirrend, weil ich vor Ort mehrfach gefragt wurde, welche Pita ohne Tomaten?? Ich wiederholte es ein paar Mal und ging davon, dass meine Bitte nun verstanden wurde. Leider habe ich später bemerkt, in einer Gyros-Pita waren Tomaten drin und in der 2.Gyros keine - aber leider war diese auch ohne Zwiebeln. Gyros Pita ohne Zwiebeln?? Hmm. Aber noch ungünstiger war die Tatsache, dass das Fleisch völlig ungesalzen war, genauso wie die Pommes. Mein Mann hatte die vegetarische Pita (mit Gemüsebällchen) und war leider ebenfalls unzufrieden. Sie schmeckte ihm nicht. Ich denke das wars mit dem Berkis. Der Preis ist ok und relativ fair, aber bei dem Geschmack lohnt sich der Sprit, das Geld und die Zeit nicht. Auch erkenne ich keinen der Mitarbeiter wieder (wie gesagt ich gehe seit mindestens 8 Jahren dorthin) . Na vielleicht hat ja die Küche, der Besitzer und die Crew gewechselt. Schade. Adio .
