Perfect!! In one of Berlin's nicest neighborhoods. Not a big area, but worth the culinary delights. This restaurant: Honest cuisine, fair prices... fresh... here's the baklava in the photo. Well-filled and not too sweet. Also, spanakopita and dolmadiaka. All freshly made. Last photo updated September 2025. Spanakopita, zucchini, chirini, dolmadakia. As always: perfect.

We went for lunch, and had two chicken pitas and two desserts, including crème caramel and Greek yogurt with walnuts, cinnamon, and honey. Everything was delicious, and the chips inside the pita were perfect. I recommend it to anyone who wants to try Greek cuisine.

Berkis was the best serendipity on my first months in Berlin. I fell in love with the food and felt very welcome by the friendly hard worker team that works for the restaurant. For the quality of the ingredients the price is great! My fav is Kolokhitokeftedes, which is definitely worth trying. Recommend 10/10

I'm extremely disappointed. This Greek restaurant was recommended to me. Long wait despite plenty of staff. Received the wrong dish and had it returned. After another 20 minutes, the correct dish arrived, but the side dishes were the same and, of course, ice cold. It was inedible, and the plate was returned with all the side dishes. No one on the staff cared, and I had to pay the full price. They didn't even ask if I enjoyed the food or why the plate was still full.

Unfortunately, that was the last time I ordered from this store and I had been a customer for years, I live almost next door! Every order contains an error. I ordered it with tzatziki and without onions! Λυπάμαι για την κριτική που αναγκάστηκα να κάνω.

We went to Berkis Snack Bar again today. We had souvlaki skewers, tzatziki, tomato salad, and pita bread. As always, it was absolutely delicious. What we didn't realize was that it was the Berkis team's last day before their vacation. Accordingly, it was packed. What's a bit annoying are the pickup and delivery services. When you're hungry and one delivery after another is going out, it's a bit irritating. Sorry, dear Berkis team, if I was a bit impatient. I wish you a wonderful vacation and see you soon.

Super delicious food. I've never seen a concept like this in Berlin before. On one side, you have a restaurant, on the other, a quick snack. Totally awesome! I ordered food today through Lieferando, but it didn't arrive after two hours, so I canceled. Lieferando said the food was still being prepared. The restaurant blamed Lieferando, and in the end, there was no food, regardless of whoever was responsible.

A very nice Greek restaurant in Schöneberg. The great thing is that they also serve a lot of vegetarian dishes. It's best to order lots of appetizers – hot and cold – and a main course. Then we share everything. It's a bit like an Indian restaurant. One thing to watch out for: There's often a lot of garlic in the dishes. The coffee isn't really my thing – they serve the typical Greek mocha. The service is okay, and there's plenty of seating. One of my favorite Greek restaurants. There's also a snack bar next door where you can order pita bread with gyros. Definitely suitable for vegetarians!

We only went to the snack bar to the right of the restaurant because the restaurant area was completely full. But what we ate there was delicious! The Greek beer was also delicious, and the service was quick and super friendly! Highly recommended! I'll definitely be back!

I know for sure that Greeks don't cook the pita with gyros like that. It's almost dry and empty. The pita is also burnt. I was very disappointed.

If you like it cramped and typically Greek, this is the right place: the food was just the usual standard quality, the service was super nice, but they mixed up a few things or didn't come at all, or only after half an hour.

We picked this place at random and are so glad we did! The food is all homemade, fresh and delicious. Our server spoke Greek, German and English and was great at answering all our questions and having a chat with us. There is an outdoor patio and indoor seating. The menu is pages long. We had a series of tapas and loved everything.

Unfortunately I can't understand the good reviews. Maybe the chef was just having a bad day, but the souvlaki was gristly and tough and undercooked in places. The fries were cold and unsalted.

Really enjoyed my visit to this place. The staff were friendly and welcoming — special thanks to Georgios and Marianthi, they were both amazing and made the experience even better. The service was smooth, the food was tasty and well-prepared, and the prices were reasonable. The location was also a big plus. Would definitely come back!

This is our neighborhood Greek restaurant. We live in the same building and we very often get take-out from their place. They have really delicious original Greek food. We don’t often eat AT the rest we want because they’re just down the stairs from us, but we have, and that has always been a great experience.

Very disappointing I ordered halloumi with grilled vegetables two measly pieces of halloumi half raw vegetables completely unsalted for €8.50 very overpriced 2 pita one with gyros one with souvlaki the pita souvlaki had so much mustard that you couldn't taste anything else. It was definitely the last time we ordered there.

I remember Berkis from before and was a bit disappointed. The rosemary potatoes weren't freshly baked, but warmed up and had a hard crust. The minced steak with feta filling was okay, as was the tzatziki, and the pita bread was dry. Fairly inexpensive, but I'd prefer something a bit more expensive and of better quality. There are many other dishes that might have been better, but I can't judge that. A table near the door in cold weather is also not ideal, as the door is constantly opening and closing, letting in cold air, which puts you off staying longer. The staff is nice and friendly, and the ambiance is pleasant. I can't take Berkis's response seriously; it's included in every critical review. I would love to have a 5-star experience right away, rather than a boilerplate promise that things will be better next time.

Had a great birthday party there with 8 friends. Food was great. You were even allowed to bring your own cake.

We recently went with a group of friends to celebrate a Greek friend's birthday. They speak English, which is great for customers who don't speak German or Greek. Therefore, you do not have any difficulties when ordering. All the meals were wonderful. The taste lingered on our palate. The staff are very sweet and really helpful. The portions are quite filling and I even had the remaining meal packed since I couldn't finish it all. Because it tasted so delicious that I didn't want to leave it. Although a friend of ours wanted to have the remaining food packaged, there was a small complication. This occurred because there was too much noise in the environment and I could not understand what my friend was saying clearly. However, despite this, they offered us a new meal to be prepared and packaged (although the mistake was due to my friend). When we said there was no need for this, they gave us ouzo (our raki) as a treat. Additionally, they not only accepted the cake we brought from outside for our friend, but also served it to us themselves. In addition, they made a very nice gesture by singing a Greek song while bringing the cake. We really had a very enjoyable time. As a Turk, I can say that their food is quite delicious. It's definitely a restaurant I'll go to again. Prices are also more affordable than other places. (And additionally they have daily menus) Many thanks again to all the staff. :)

Vine a Berlín de vacaciones. Tuve una excelente experiencia gastronómica en Berkis, así que durante mis vacaciones lo visité todos los días. Tanto la comida como el servicio eran excepcionales. El personal era increíblemente acogedor, atento y bien informado, lo que nos hace sentir verdaderamente valorado. Cada plato fue preparado con ingredientes frescos y de alta calidad, resaltando los auténticos sabores de Grecia. La comida a la parrilla era perfectamente tierna, la moussaka era rica y sabrosa, y los desiertos eran perfectos. El ambiente cálido y acogedor se sumó a la experiencia, por lo que es un lugar fantástico para cualquier ocasión. Recomiendo encarecidamente este restaurante y sin duda volveremos!

The food in the restaurant tastes great. Today I ordered via delivery service and it's a disgrace. The food arrives ice cold, the white cabbage salad is missing, and in the dish “broad beans with feta” you have difficulty finding 4 crumbs of feta. The cold makes it inedible. I'm really disappointed. If you offer delivery, you have to ensure that the food arrives in good quality and reasonably warm.

I was there with two other people, we ordered gyros three times and got something else. When we pointed this out to the waiter, he didn't want to give us the goods we ordered. So we had to eat the other dish and it was disgusting!

We had a nice sunday lunch. They have Lokumades!! 😊It is really a pleasant place, full with guests all the time. Service was fast but not very pleasant. The food was nice, although i didn't enjoy the starter plat.. cheaper than other Greek Restaurants in Berlin. We would visit again!

We ordered from the restaurant and the food is terrible! Super small portions and for me this is not Greek food. The souvlaki was very gristly, the vegetable rice is just white rice with a bit of vegetables (but not the kind you know from Greeks) and the dollop of tzatziki in the menu is enough for 3 dips. In addition, no grill plate was delivered but a gyro plate. Such a failure!

I ate a rack of lamb which was good, but the environment is very noisy, making it a place just to eat and not to meet friends and chat.

The food is delicious and the price/performance ratio is right. The menu is good and should offer something for everyone. I can only recommend the grill plate with fries - the meat was really well seasoned, but unfortunately the fries were even less so. The coleslaw that came with it was also delicious. The service was really not good. You're almost tempted to ask if you can bring something else to the waiter. So neither courteous nor friendly. What's nice, however, is that you can pay by card (EC and credit). (I don't know what it's like in the snack bar next door, though.) Ambiance is fine. We sat in there, it was quite full, but still - as written - okay and quite authentic. I think people know each other and their guests here - which speaks for the restaurant. It is probably advisable to make a reservation during peak times
