The best Greek restaurant in all of Berlin! 💯

This is one of my favorite restaurants in Berlin. My friend and I joke all the time that the most delicious Greek food is not in Greece, but in Germany. But this is not really a joke. I've been to Greece many times before, but the food here is better. And combined with good service, this restaurant sunk into my heart. The prices are a little high, but if you can afford it, then this place is definitely worth a visit.

We had a very tasty dinner and were served very courteously. It's very comfortable to sit here. It is a very nice and stylishly furnished location. We'll definitely come back

The Epavlis is undoubtedly “the Greek with a difference”, not just run of the mill! Food and service top - friendly, attentive - the ambience is also upscale. Unfortunately, everything is very narrow and there is a lot of noise when it's a bit crowded, making it difficult to have a conversation. The location on Olympic Street is of course also great, you can always find parking spaces. Overall, an absolute recommendation!

Due to the many good reviews and some recommendations, we went to Epavlis for dinner today. The reception was very friendly. The food itself was a good average and, given the price level, there is definitely room for improvement. What is more than borderline, however, is the fact that a dog was defecating under our table and the staff didn't notice it. After one of our guests stood inside with his shoes in dog poop, a more than disgusting smell spread around the table. We paid immediately and left the restaurant. It was just disgusting. Unfortunately there was no further reaction from the staff other than a short...sorry... The invoice was made in full, no discount or anything like that. We will not be entering this restaurant again and will advise our friends not to do so either.

The food is delicious. The atmosphere is very nice. The staff was very attentive and polite. There were three of us for dinner. One of us ordered meat, one chicken and one fish. We all enjoyed it very much. All were very tasty. The fresh fish was particularly delicious. In my opinion the best Greek restaurant in Berlin.

A cozy restaurant with really good Greek food. I had the appetizer platter for one person, which was really plentiful. The service was also very nice. Would love to come back.

A Greek - nothing more and nothing less. A few weeks ago we were there with 7 bus drivers for the DFB Cup final on May 25th, 2024 and various dishes were ordered. Among other things, the grill plate passed across the table 3 times, which I initially wanted to choose, but then decided on a salad in the hot weather. The grill plate was a complete disappointment in terms of quantity/size. The types of meat mentioned were all on the plate, but in a portion size that you could really have searched for the meat under the lettuce leaf. This grill plate, which was served on a ceramic plate, is not worth €25.50. The snack bars serve their Manta plate, so in terms of size. The Tonnos salad plate, or rather the BOWL, on the other hand, was worth the money that day. I worked hard on the salad until it was processed, and it was really tasty. That day, a portion of giant beans was served to a colleague who wasn't satisfied with the grilled plate. These giant beans were just the normal standard thick beans, but this portion was also disappointing in terms of quantity. We didn't know whether the portions were smaller especially for the DFB Cup final. A colleague was there a long time ago during his standing time, but he couldn't remember these mini portions there! There were seven of us drivers, one only drank something, six ate something, one of them was happy with his salad, all the others left the restaurant hungry and not satisfied. We left the EPAVLIS back to the buses a little conflicted. The quality is not valued here, but the quantity for the price, and that didn't work with the dishes mentioned, it just didn't fit together. The grill plate was definitely too expensive for what was on offer! The European Championship final is coming soon and let's see what it looks like and then we'll take pictures

Not just any "Greek around the corner", even if it's a little more expensive, the quality of the food is extremely good. I have enjoyed coming here for years.

I just love greek lasagne, Im sorry to owner that I called this meal like that, but it's easier to explain what is what:) amazing tzatziki with fresh bread and salad, after dinner I was full. We were on lunch so no wine, but I think it will also be amazing. Highly recommend Im going to be back here definitely!

Very tasty, the prices were rather above average, when asked for another bread basket, they charged an extra 2 euros, which I find strange given a bill of over 150 euros.

A slightly different Greek, the Berliner would say. Not everything in blue and white. Very nice welcome, nice team and the salad with chicken was very tasty. The prawns with grilled vegetables were also delicious and grilled to perfection.

We've been there several times. Why? Because we are always satisfied. We will continue to visit the restaurant.

Very friendly welcome! Super nice waiter. There was bread and olive oil on the house. Tuna salad was excellent, as were chicken breast fillets with fries. The iced tea is a highlight. We always take our dog to the restaurant and he was also offered water without asking. The food sometimes takes a while, but the quality makes up for the wait. Coming from the neighborhood and definitely coming back regularly, as in the past!

The Greek cuisine on offer here is a real culinary delight. In addition, a very clean atmosphere and extremely friendly staff. Greek hospitality as you imagine it when you remember the Aegean Sea and the nice people there.

We went there for the first time a few months ago on a recommendation and have been recommending it to all of our friends since then. Personally, I particularly like the fact that the dishes there are significantly lower in fat than I have previously experienced in other Greek restaurants.

This restaurant is located between Reichsstrasse and the Olympic Stadium. Nice interior, not like the usual blue/white and Acropolis. The menu offers enough choice, but doesn't overwhelm you. All Greek classics are included. The presentation of the food is modern and tasteful. We were satisfied with the delicious food. The salad beforehand was also delicious. Staff is very friendly. The store is recommended

Übersichtliche Speisekarte, freundliches u. aufmerksames Personal, preiswert

Der beste Grieche bei dem ich bisher essen durfte. Preis Leistung ist zur Qualität der servierten Gerichte genau richtig. Wir hatten verschiedene Vorspeisen, ich selbst hatte die Lammhaxe und wieder verschiedene Nachspeisen für 6 Personen und alle Gerichte waren lecker und sehr gut angerichtet. Ich habe keine Bilder gemacht, weil ich anderen nicht die Überraschung nehmen möchte und auch nicht die Möglichkeit andere schaffen möchte, sich die Ideen einfach abschauen zu können.

Sehr gemütlich. Essen schmeckt und die Bedienung ist sehr aufmerksam. Empfehlenswert.

Ein Gyros Teller wird in einer kleinen Salatschüssel serviert. Dazu Pommes und eine minimale Menge Tsatsiki. Nicht zufriedenstellend und satt machend. Für einen Preis von 17,90€ nicht gerecht.

Einfach nur top ! Wir waren überrascht über die ausgezeichneten Speisen und den professionellen Service in einem Griechischen Restaurant mit schöner Garten-Terrasse. Kein "üblicher" Grieche, sondern hier werden Griechische und internationale Spezialitäten besonders schön und sehr delikat dargeboten. Preise sind, wie jetzt überall etwas höher, aber darüber sahen wir bei diesem lecker Essen hinweg. Wir wurden auch ohne Reservierung, auch mit unserem Mops Hund, freundlich empfangen. Wir werden wieder kommen. Klare Empfehlung !

Eine freundliche Begrüßung und eine sehr gute griechische Küche! Das Restaurant hat mehrere Bereiche in denen man gemütlich speisen und verweilen kann.

Der Grieche um die Ecke. Wir gehen hier immer mal wieder hin. Es ist sehr sauber dort und das trotz hohen Publikumsverkehrs. Der Service ist mega freundlich und man wird persönlich begrüßt und zum Tisch geführt. Verabschiedung mit Handschlag und ein paar netten Worten war auch dabei. Das Essen ist sehr schmackhaft und vor dem Hauptgericht gab es Brot, Oliven, Olivenöl und einen Salat. Die Getränke waren schnell am Tisch und angenehm kühl. Die Preise sind wie überall auch hier gestiegen. Mein Eindruck war auch, dass die Portionen etwas kleiner geworden sind. Trotzdem, für eine Mahlzeit am Abend vollkommen ausreichend. Zum freundlichen Abschied am Tisch gab es noch ein Getränk aufs Haus. Wir kommen gern wieder, herzlichen Dank.

Wunderbares Essen, nicht zu überladen, nicht zu üppig, geschmacklich Gaumenerotik. Sehr guter Wein mit fast perfekter Temp. Ambiente ruhig und lauschig.

Das Geschimpfe,teils ohne Konstruktivität können wir nicht nachvollziehen. Alles war hervorragend! Probiert es aus!

Ich war total überrascht. Alles eher fein als grob. Die Gerichte werden sehr kreativ serviert. Hier wird auf Qualität geachtet. Für ein griechisches Restaurant ein sehr ungewohntes, schönes Ambiente. Service aufmerksam und freundlich. Wir kommen wieder.

Sehr arrogante Bedienung, Portionen so klein wie ich noch nie erlebt habe. Ich frage mich wirklich ob der Koch noch alle Finger hat ,denn so kleine Fleischstücke zu schneiden ist echt Kunst. Geschmacklich war es gerade mal durchschnittlich. Auch das Zeichen griechischer Gastfreundschaft (Ouzo) fand keinen Weg zu uns dreien.

Es war ein toller Abend der uns in guter Erinnerung bleibt.

Tolles griechisches Restaurant in gepflegtem Ambiente. Die Servicekräfte waren alle sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend und hatten immer einen netten Spruch auf den Lippen. Das Essen war sehr lecker und ruck zuck auf dem Tisch. Wir waren vor einem Konzert im Olympiastadion dort zu Gast. Obwohl alle Tische reserviert waren, durften wir bleiben. Es gab eine eingeschränkte Speisekarte aufgrund der vielen Konzert-Gäste, aber die Auswahl war trotzdem so groß, dass für jeden Geschmack etwas dabei war. Preislich waren die Speisen voll im Rahmen. Ich würde jederzeit wieder in dieses Restaurant gehen und kann es nur weiterempfehlen.

Essen war gut. Wir hatten vier Fische bestellt drei davon haben 18€ gekostet und ein Fisch hat aufeinmal 70€ gekostet. Ich würde aufpassen beim bestellen sag ich ….

Wollten am Samstag dort vor dem Konzert etwas essen, aber dort wurde man nur reingelassen mit Reservierung. Nach unserem kurzen Besuch stand mit einmal auch das Schild dort, wo auf Reservierung hingewiesen wurde. Das fanden wir schon den Knaller!!! Wir hatten trotzdem nachgefragt, ob sie noch einen Tisch für 3 Personen hätten. Die Servicekraft wollte nachschauen und kam nicht wieder. Daraufhin fragte mein Mann nach einer gefühlten Ewigkeit nochmals nach. Ja, man hätte einen Tisch für uns. Wir setzten uns hin und bekamen die Speisekarten. Ich bestellte (aufgrund der enormen Hitze) eine kleine Cola, da wurde mir schon über den Mund gefahren, kleine Getränke gibt es nicht, nur große Getränke. Finde ich unmöglich, aber da ich dringend etwas zu Trinken benötigte, willigte ich ein. Die Getränke wurden auch super schnell gebracht, aber wir hatten noch nicht einmal Zeit die Speisekarte anzusehen. Das passte der Servicekraft überhaupt nicht. Etwas später nahm er die Bestellung am Nebentisch auf und als er zu uns schaute, gab ich ihm ein Zeichen, dass er auch unsere Bestellung aufnehmen könnte. Mir wurde über den Mund gefahren, jetzt nicht!!! Naja, einige Minuten später kam dann die Servicekraft und wollte unsere Bestellung aufnehmen. Unsere Tochter ist Allergikerin und kann viele Lebensmittel nicht vertragen, aus diesem Grunde fragte sie die Servicekraft, ob sie den Salat auch ohne Tomaten bekommen könnte. Da gab die Servicekraft auch wieder sehr unfreundlich zu verstehen, die Tomaten und Gurken werden immer extra an den Rand des Salates gelegt. Okay, dann den Salat aber ohne Tomaten. Jetzt meint die Servicekraft, die Tomaten und Gurken sind vermengt. Also doch kein Salat. Weiter suchen! Jetzt sagte ich, dass ich gerne den Salat mit Hähnchenbrust hätte, aber die Hähnchenbrust bitte nicht auf den Salat, sondern extra! Daraufhin meinte die Servicekraft, nein, soetwas machen die nicht!!!, aber er wollte mal eben nachfragen. Ich verstehe sein Problem mit dem Nachfragen nicht. Wenn der Gast etwas extra haben will, dann wird es extra gelegt und fertig ist es. Wir sagten dann nur, er soll uns die Rechnung für die 3 Getränke fertig machen und dann kann er den Tisch an andere Gäste geben. Alles in Allem, so viel Unfreundlichkeit und Unflexibilität habe ich noch nicht erlebt. Ihr solltet Euch mal vor Augen führen, Eure Gäste zahlen Euch den Lohn, wovon ihr lebt!!! Und ein Sprichwort sagt, der Gast ist König. Sollten wir nochmals in Eurer Gegend sein, werden wir Euer Restaurant NICHT besuchen, es gibt genügend andere Restaurants!!!

Positiv zu erwähnen ist die moderate Portionsgröße der Gerichte. Ich kenne es anders vom Griechen und schaffe sonst nie meinen Teller. Das Essen war sehr lecker und der Service freundlich und zuvorkommend. Erwähnenswert ist auch die schöne, überdachte Terrasse, die zum Verweilen einlädt.

Moderne griechische Küche mit qualitativen Essen sowie gut ausgesuchten Wein Kellner sind sehr freundlich und man fühlt sich als Gast rund um wohl

Absolut geniales Restaurant! Super Kellner, selbst im Stress, freundlich und ruhig! Immer wieder gerne!

Extrem arrogantes Personal. Und dabei vollkommen unfähig. Drei Sachen wurden bei der Bestellung offenbar überhört. Portionen sind winzig und werden in Mini-Nachttöpfen serviert. Kreditkarten akzeptieren sie auch nicht. Das schlimmste allerdings, war der gammelige Salat. Ein Fall für das Gesundheitsamt.

Kundenservice und Essen sind top!!! Wir gehen immer wieder gerne hin! Wein-Empfehlungen und "Präsi" sind lecker 😋... Für das Gyros könnte ich sterben ;)

Sehr freundliche unaufdringliche Mitarbeitende; haben uns schon vor Öffnungszeit herein gelassen, weil es regnete. Das Essen war vorzüglich. Schade, dass das Restaurant so gar nicht in unserer Nähe ist

Eigentlich hatte ich mich auf einen schönen Abend in einem griechischen Restaurant gefreut, aber das war wohl nichts. Okay, es war der Abend des DFB Pokalfinale, aber die vor der Tür angebotenen Speisen waren nicht wirklich lecker. Schade, möglicherweise wäre ich an einem anderen Abend nicht so enttäuscht worden.

Die Qualität der Speisen war in Ordnung. Dass der Bauernsalat ohne Oliven bestellt wurde, wurde leider nicht beachtet. Der zu den Vorspeisen extra bestellte Zaziki wurde ebenfalls vergessen. Fragen zu den Vorspeisen wurden falsch beantwortet. Lag möglicherweise an mangelnden Deutschkenntnissen der Bedienung, trotzdem schade. Nachdem wir nochmals die Karte für eine Dessertauswahl erbeten und bekommen hatten, hat sich die Bedienung überhaupt nicht mehr für uns interessiert, so dass wir froh waren, irgendwann wenigstens zahlen zu können. Wir kommen nicht noch einmal.
