Super delicious food, top-class service and a family atmosphere what more could you want, highly recommended ❤️

Food very tasty Price/performance ratio doesn't fit because the portions are too small. Ambience leaves a lot to be desired.. No table decorations outside.. no seat cushions. 5 waiters...all overwhelmed. Had to speak to someone several times before being served

Food was good even though half of it was forgotten, portions too small, service chaotic and uncoordinated, no one knows what to do, you have to speak to every waiter before one reacts, there isn't even one Seat cushions for outdoor use that you have to sit on hard chairs and there are no table decorations, so the price-performance ratio is very poor, not recommended

We were there on a Sunday evening and it was very crowded outside. The service made an effort, but seemed clearly overwhelmed. It took over an hour for the food to arrive. The quality of the food was subpar in terms of price-performance ratio and most of the meat was burned. There is still room for improvement here; it will not be a suitable place for us to “have a good, relaxed meal” in the future.

Very very tasty! Huge portions! I was there with friends and we sat outside on the terrace very comfortably. Very nice staff. We didn't wait long for our food and there were plenty of drinks too. We would love to come back again!!!

This store is making us poorer. Here we have by far the best gyros we have ever eaten in our lives! The last time we ate there was at 5:30 p.m. We got the first crust of the gyro and it was just so delicious. You can also taste the love for food. The other dishes are very tasty.

A very good address if you want to eat Greek. Whether inside or outside in the summer, there is always a great atmosphere. The prices are fair and the portions are good. I can only recommend the restaurant.

On Friday at 5:00 p.m. on the European Championship opening game evening for 8 people, most restaurants will probably wave you off with a tired smile and a rather grumpy response. The Athos tried very hard and made space for us. Hammer! Good-humoured service, quick, food as expected, ouzo on the house. Price-performance ratio is consistent. Thanks to you! It was a nice evening with friends at the "Greek". Overall, Athos is beautifully landscaped. We would like to try out the outdoor area when the weather improves. Since it was already quite full, the background noise was quite high. That's how it is with the number of people. The service is familiar and very competent. The employees approach the guests openly with a lot of empathy and naturally involve the guests in everything possible with nice comments. The orders were taken quickly and the food was delivered at the same time and without errors, despite special requests. As expected, the food was plentiful and very good quality. This can be stated simply and briefly. Probably the most exciting question: What are the prices? Yes, it has become more expensive. But the costs have increased, etc. We all know that well enough. But it's worth it! It's always interesting to see that the restaurants are so full when everyone complains about how difficult it is. I am still willing to pay for good quality and performance. Even if we are all stingy ;-)

We had dinner with a business partner yesterday and were thrilled. Great ambience, super nice and quick service and very high quality food. It's a little more expensive, but it's absolutely worth it. Definitely has nothing to do with a “normal” Greek.

We really enjoy eating out at Athos ☺️ At the entrance you are greeted in a very friendly manner and this friendliness lasts throughout the evening 😁 It actually doesn't matter what condition is being asked at the table 😊 You actually feel welcome as a guest ❤️ In the warmer months it's nice to sit in the great outdoor area 😍 Even though it's right on the main road and the expressway runs alongside it... it's still very, very nice and pleasant in the warm months. But even in the winter months, the outdoor area is appropriately decorated and prepared ❤️

Pretty much everything is true. Ambience is really chic. The food is incredibly good and the service is extremely friendly. I almost felt a bit bad that I didn't drink the Uozo beforehand because I don't drink. 🙊 Extra requests (English menu, painkillers provided) were fulfilled. Even if there were a few little things that didn't immediately fit, it was more of a loving, slight nitpicking that was compensated for with such a friendly and humorous manner that I'm quite willing to give it five stars.

We were warmly welcomed at 9:35 p.m. and ate delicious lamb fillet. Even though we were the last guests from 10:15 p.m. (on a Monday), we received excellent service. Quite a great gesture

Everything just fits here. Ambience, food always great, service very accommodating, priced a little more but reasonable. In summer you can sit in the garden in a wonderfully idyllic setting. We always like to come. Everyone else knows this too, so it is advisable to make a reservation.

We are often in Athos. One of the best Greek restaurants in Oldenburg. There is a welcoming atmosphere both inside in winter and outside in summer and the food is consistently of high quality and very tasty. The service is always very attentive.

Wir haben ohne zu reservieren einen Tisch bekommen, Glück muss man haben. Ambiente und das Essen (Vorspeisen, Fisch und Fleischgerichte) waren sehr gut! Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich und die Preise angemessen! Eine Tischreservierung wird empfohlen oder gleich um 17:30 sein Glück versuchen... Sehr zu empfehlen! 5☆

Ein wunderschönes Restaurant mit einem ganz tollen Ambiente. Die Speisekarte ist nicht all zu groß, aber trotzdem für jeden etwas dabei. Der Service ist total aufmerksam, schnell und super freundlich. Die Preise sind angemessen und das Essen hervorragend. Hier verbringt man gerne ein paar Stunden.

Super leckeres Essen. Personal super freundlich und zuvorkommend. Negativ war das es sehr hellhörig ist und die Luft sehr schlecht war und es total nach Essen gerochen hat.

Ein kulinarisches Highlight und menschliches Highlight Mein kürzlicher Besuch im Restaurant Athos war eine Erfahrung, die ich nicht so schnell vergessen werde. Das erste, was auffällt, ist der Weltklasse-Service. Obwohl wir keinen Tisch reserviert hatten, hatten wir das Glück, spontan einen Platz zu bekommen – eine Reservierung ist jedoch definitiv empfehlenswert, da dieses Restaurant sehr beliebt ist. Die Bedienung war hervorragend. Wir wurden aufmerksam, aber unaufdringlich beraten und bewirtet, was zu einer angenehmen und entspannten Atmosphäre beitrug. Das Ambiente des Restaurants ist so einladend und gemütlich, dass wir uns sofort wie zu Hause fühlten. Nun zum kulinarischen Erlebnis: Das Essen war schlichtweg grandios. Jedes Gericht war ein Kunstwerk für sich, sowohl optisch als auch geschmacklich. Besonders hervorzuheben sind die Portionen, die sehr großzügig sind. Ein kleiner Tipp: Seien Sie vorsichtig mit den Vorspeisen, denn diese sind überraschend groß und köstlich, sodass man leicht die Hauptmahlzeit unterschätzt. Insgesamt war unser Besuch im Restaurant Athos ein herausragendes Erlebnis. Wir haben bereits Pläne, bald wiederzukommen, und können dieses Restaurant jedem empfehlen, der auf der Suche nach exzellentem Essen und erstklassigem Service in einem warmen und einladenden Ambiente ist.

Sehr laut und man wurde von der Servicekraft gedutzt. Ich hatte Forelle vom Grill, die sehr weich und ohne Gräte war. Unsere Begleitung war auch nur mäßig zufrieden
