Super friendly staff and very good food

Tapas bar with plenty of outdoor seating. The tapas are delicious and the portions are generous. We had eight tapas for two people and were stuffed. The service is very attentive and super friendly.

My original review was deleted, so I'm deducting one star. I think the food is good and have had the chance to try the entire menu several times. Everything tastes absolutely fantastic. Only the mussels were often sandy. What bothers me most, though, is the way reservations were handled. In my opinion, reservations weren't honored on several occasions.

Small, charming restaurant with a lovely atmosphere and great tapas selections. Restrooms are on the ground floor, but unfortunately too narrow for a wheelchair ♿️ Access is limited with a walker.

Absolutely recommended! Delicious tapas and everything else is just as perfect. Always again!

Unfortunately, that was our last visit. The tapas were okay, but not particularly authentic. The croquettes had nothing to do with the Spanish originals, and so did the bravas. We found the price of water particularly outrageous: €8 for a 0.75 liter. The bottle was practically pushed on us right from the start.

I tried Tapas y Mas during my visit to Hamburg on the recommendation of a colleague, and I was absolutely thrilled. Here, you get exactly what the name suggests: tapas, and they are beyond delicious. The atmosphere in the restaurant is incredibly cozy, quickly creating a holiday feeling. The staff is also very friendly and attentive, and the prices are reasonable, making Tapas y Mas more than worth a visit.

Really great tapas. It's fun to eat tapas again. Everything is deliciously prepared, and you don't roll out of the place without feeling full. An absolute recommendation for tapas.

The food was delicious and hot - the fish is especially recommended! Unfortunately, the service was poor. Too few staff and we weren't even asked if we needed something to drink. The bottle of water was charged at €8, which I personally think is too much. Probably won't come back.

Tapas y Más serves authentic Spanish cuisine. There is a wide selection of vegetarian, meat and seafood tapas. There were three of us and we were able to expand the tapas tree for two people to three without any problems. The wine selection is equally good and suitable. For those who usually stick with Rioja, I can recommend the cuvee “Habla la Tierra”. The service is very friendly. A small drawback was the fact that after two hours you were asked to leave at very short notice, which limited the time it took to choose, order and prepare the meal a little too much. Otherwise, an absolutely recommended Spaniard in Hamburg!

It was a quick decision that we wanted to try tapas. We didn't have a reservation but a table for two on Sunday is easy. We ordered only tapas and all of them were delicious and quite big portions to fill us up. I recommend visiting. They also have a good collection of wine.

Delicious food, friendly service. Unfortunately tapas were missing and some were too much. In the end our calculation was wrong. There were more tapas than ordered. They were not interested in an explanation/solution. We had to pay for everything.

Delicious tapas and wine at moderate prices. Quantities are also good for tapas, four of us were able to eat each ordering tapas. Always my pleasure. One star deduction for no more bread with aioli in advance on the house - somehow it does. Visiting the Spaniard - and a bottle of 0.75 water for €8.00 - is quite cheeky - but of course everyone has to know for themselves 🤷‍♂️

As always, it was again very tasty, the only drawback is that the tables are a bit too small, but since the whole restaurant is very small, that probably can't be solved any other way.

Best place to enjoy some delicious tapas in Hamburg.

Four of us had dinner there this evening. It was simply delicious. The tapas were all very tasty, from meat to vegetables to fish. The dishes came to the table served hot. A compliment to the kitchen. The waiters and waitresses were very present at all times friendly and attentive. Thank you SO MUCH for the wonderful evening

Kleiner Tapas Laden im Tiefpaterre gelegen. Guter freundlicher Service. Auswahl an Tapas ist völlig ausreichend. Gute Auswahl an Flaschenweinen. Preis und Leistung passen sehr gut, Reservierung ist empfehlenswert.

The atmosphere is really cozy and invites you to linger. The service was friendly and accommodating. We didn't have to wait long for the drinks or the really delicious food. There were really unique and amazing items on the menu. This shop is definitely worth recommending.

Wir sind viel in Spanien unterwegs und daher vielleicht auch etwas sehr voreingenommen. Aufgrund der guten Bewertungen haben wir das Lokal für ein Geschäftsessen aber doch getestet und entsprechend nur eine kleine Auswahl an Speisen bestellt. Die Tapas waren in Ordnung, aber mehr auch nicht. Was uns allerdings wirklich gestört hat, war dass der Kellner sich auf eine wenig subtile Art hat anmerken lassen, dass wir seiner Ansicht nach zu viert zu wenig Umsatz generieren. Ob die bestellten Tapas ausreichend oder "zu wenig " seien und ob die zwei Dessert für vier Personen "nur" zwei Dessert sind – ich hätte es mir an seiner Stelle verkniffen. Wer viel auf Mallorca ist, wird das Ambiente spanisch finden, wer etwas authentisches sucht, sollte woanders hingehen.

My absolute favorite restaurant for tapas! Last week we were there with 12 people and it was perfectly organized. The staff is super friendly, the food is excellent and the decor is simply great.

Best tapas in a long time. We only got there around 10pm but still got great service and great tapas. Cozy, snappy, absolutely fair in price, very tasty and incredibly diverse. It was our first time at Tapas y Más and we will definitely be back.

The staff were very nice and friendly, a nice little tapas shop. We liked the fish tapas very much, the rest was fine. Unfortunately, almost all of the meat was super dry and the whole food only came to the table lukewarm, which was a shame. All in all, somehow ok, not bad but not good either and nothing special. An absolutely average store.

Seriously disappointed, how can you write on google that they open at 1pm, we were there at 1.15pm and it was closed, also tried calling. We had traveled from Copenhagen to Hamburg to meet the family. Will NEVER give that place a chance 🤬

I go out for tapas several times a year, as tapas are mostly handmade dishes made with love. So I was very happy to have found another tapas restaurant in Hamburg. Unfortunately, I was very disappointed: the goat cheese in honey was a baked goat cheese of the not tasty kind. You can tell from the shape that it is an industrial piece of food and not, like in other tapas restaurants, a piece of hand-breaded goat cheese. The same with the meatballs: open the bag, put it in the deep fryer, open the bag with the curry sauce, put it in the microwave, and serve. Too bad. It didn't really taste bad, but it didn't taste good either. I think that when I go out to eat, I can expect something other than cheap ingredients Deep fryer to be served. Because it wasn't anything special, nothing that I have to come back for.

Good food and restaurant overall, however nothing very special. Prices were fine.

Wir sind heute (Montag) durch Zufall hier gelandet, und - was soll ich sagen - es war, bzw. ist, hervorragend! Eine sehr große und auch außergewöhnlich vielseitige Auswahl an Tapas, auch die Auswahl an Hauptspeisen kann sich sehen lassen. Wir haben, zum Probieren, den Tapas-Baum für 2 Personen bestellt...absolut lecker und wir hätten beinah' nicht alles geschafft. Auch der Service hier ist sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Wir werden ganz sicher wiederkommen!!

Very good tapaz bar! Tapaz are worth their money and are delicious. Wine was great and we had a good time :D Not super spanish athmosphere but still a great choice when you feel like some tapaz. It would be better if the tapaz would not come all at once. Anyways highly recommend!

Tapas shop in the Schanze. The tapas are the popular standards in this country, with little to no innovation but solidly prepared. The outside area is the sidewalk and a repurposed parking lot. Urban, summery, ski jump

2024.07.18: had a nice dinner here, tried ths sangria and two of the red wines. Was pleased, also with 4 of the tapases (tortilla, croquetas, honey chicken wings and patatas bravas). Were all fine. Would come back probably, but still was missing a bit of personal touch somehow. Service was rather just normal, which is completely okay.

We were very lucky to get a free table outside without a reservation on a Saturday football evening for four of us. As soon as we sat down we were approached very rudely by a service employee asking who had please put us here. To the truthful answer, "we ourselves", we were told in a very rude manner that this was a table of 5 and that we had to move around, poof. Coincidentally, another table just became available, so we were able to move around. If not, we would have had to leave the restaurant. Four people at a table of five, that's not possible. The fact that in the end we probably left more money with over 200 euros than the majority of the five-person tables generated as an invoice just doesn't count when it comes to the principle. Luckily, we were served the rest of the evening by other colleagues who were really nice and courteous and not as nervous as the first one. The tapas were very decent, no revelation but it tasted good. Price-performance ok! It turns out again that in general the overall impression can be ruined very, very quickly by rude staff in a second.

We had dinner with you yesterday and the food was excellent as always. We were three adults and two children and have actually been with you many times. We are thrilled every time. Yesterday we wanted to order in stages and re-order several rounds to see what tasted particularly good and then order it again. You used to always have a little greeting from the kitchen, which was always some bread and aioli. When I asked about it, I was told that we didn't order enough tapas and that you only get the greeting if you order at least 3-4 tapas per person. (Do children really count as full-paying people?) It was our first round of tapas ordering and we ended up ordering a lot more tapas after that. Including bread to dip in the mussel stock. We got bread and aioli, which was also on the bill, even though we only ordered bread. We don't want to be petty, but we really consumed a lot of drinks and tapas and somehow I think it's a shame that your service seems to have changed so much recently.

Most rude staff I have encountered. It seems there are very strict time slots when you come to this place. We had booked a table from 6-8 pm. 15 mins before our time time was up, one of the waitresses came to tell us in a very rude tone that our time was up and that we had to leave (although we still had some time and were planning on ordering dessert). She mentioned that no more orders were going to be accepted and were made to pay and leave asap. Next to us there were at least 2 tables of 4 which were STILL EMPTY. However, we were made to leave. Safe to say that none of us will be back.

Very rude staff - apparently there is a maximum of 2 hours per reservation per table. We had received the confirmation for a table of 6 people from 6 pm to 8 pm on a Saturday. At 7.45 pm one of the waitresses came to our table to inform us that our time had run out and that we had to leave the restaurant (it seems they had a different time-slot in their system). In a very rude tone she informed us that we had to pay the bill and no more orders could be made as the 15 mins we had left was not enough for dessert. Only in the area where we were seated there were 2 tables of 4 COMPLETELY EMPTY, yet we were kicked out of the restaurant. We’ll not be coming back - most restaurants are usually lenient with this time frame and this could have been communicated in a friendly way.

During our city trip to Hamburg we were in the mood for Spanish cuisine again and came across Tapas y Más. We made a reservation by phone and that was a good thing because the restaurant gradually became quite full (tip to you: make a reservation just to be on the safe side). The restaurant is easily accessible and the basement makes it a really charming place. The two of us ordered seven tapas (which was totally enough for us) and shared a dessert (Oreo cream with Oreo pieces, but it looks like a small plant 🌱-see photo). Everything was reasonably priced, everything was delicious, we were very satisfied! Feel free to test it out when you’re in Hamburg! 😊

A nice restaurant with very tasty food, friendly service and a good location in the middle of the ski jump. But: it is brutally loud. If the dining room is full, you can hardly have a conversation. Everything rocks up. Something urgently needs to be done acoustically here - a lot can be achieved even with very little effort. Still recommendation!
