Wir haben unsere goldene Hochzeit im Casa Ricardo gefeiert und waren alle total begeistert.Das Essen,das Ambiente einfach toll,alles hat super geklappt,von der Reservierung bis ins letzte Detail alles hervorragend.Einen ganz herzlichen Dank nochmal an Carmen,die uns so herzlich durch den ganzen Abend begleitet hat.Wir kommen alle gerne wieder.Herzliche Grüße von Angela und Ralf

Typical simple Spanish restaurant, this time we didn't have tapas but grilled meat. It was so delicious and so much that we couldn't finish it all.

Wonderful paella, great wine and perfect dessert. My sisters and me had a lovely evening with amazing food and drinks. The aioli was heaven on earth. Next time in Hamburg I will return

Stopped by this Spanish restaurant and had a good experience. The service was super friendly, making us feel welcome right from the start. We had the tapas for two, which were delicious. The highlight of our evening was the live music, especially the guitar player, who added a enjoyable ambiance to our meal.

This restaurant impresses with its Spanish ambience, which is further enhanced by the tiled floor and many pictures with matching motifs. The long basement stairs to the toilets were a bit awkward. The sanitary facilities are a bit tight - but in an immaculate and clean condition. Before the meal you get white bread with a homemade aioli that is exceptionally tasty. The fish platter was recommended, with salmon, wolffish, swordfish, squid and a shrimp. The fish was fresh and optimally prepared. 😋 The grill plate, which featured quick-roasted items such as lamb, sausage, pork, beef and mixed vegetables, was also of exceptional quality. You can choose between boiled potatoes or Spanish potatoes with both dishes. The price of €21.95 per dish was absolutely reasonable. As you would expect, there is also a large selection of Spanish wines and spirits here. For fans of Spanish cuisine, this restaurant is a real insider tip. 🙂

A romantic meeting or discussing new business ideas - this restaurant is just right for you. I'm not saying it only serves that purpose. Certainly this is also a great restaurant for birthday parties and weddings. However, the dishes, the attention of the staff, the comfort and the tranquility are particularly valuable.

I am always amazed by the natural professionalism with which I am welcomed and looked after here. The ambience exudes a lively cosiness, accompanied by special delicacies from Mediterranean cuisine. Everything is consistent and the quality of the products is uncompromisingly and consistently high. The location of the restaurant is great and can be easily combined with any activities. There is a really good relationship between price and performance. Whether seafood, steak, rabbit, sangria or draft beer, everything is arranged here with passion. I don't take photos because I think you should take a picture for yourself in person. This text is not an adulation, but an attempt to thank you for the many wonderful hours we have spent so far at CASA RICARDO. Keep it up.

Looking for somewhere else after losing twice, we ended up here and had a great evening. The staff, family run, was very friendly and open-minded. We would eat again at any time. Unfortunately there are over 700 kilometers between us and the restaurant.

Friendly staff and you were served quickly despite it being really busy. I don't even know where to start... Bread with alioli super tasty, tapas super tasty, paella super tasty, it takes about a while but you're prepared with a hint. And I can only warmly recommend the dessert. Zarzuela Casa Ricardo for € 22.80 very well stocked with fish and seafood and perfectly seasoned: it couldn't be better. The rabbit stewed in red wine with vegetables and roasted potatoes also tasted wonderful €19.90 in total a recommendable restaurant: better make a reservation: we only just got a table on Monday evening: the ambience is actually nice too... unfortunately some guests are very loud ( there is little the host can do)

Even though the evening went a little differently than planned, it was still very tasty. The tapas are tasty and well made. Service was friendly and quick. The atmosphere was relaxed, well suited for a business meal.

Delicious tapas in a nice, small restaurant. The service was excellent. The patatas could have used a little more salt crust and with the Manchego cheese, a little honey or apricot jam would have been nice. But otherwise there was absolutely nothing to complain about. We'd love to come back. Price/performance is absolutely fine.

Die Aioli zum Brot war fantastisch. Die Tapas zum niederknien. Die Fischplatte und Fleischplatte exzellent. Der Tintenfischtopf war genial. Preis Leistung absolut in Ordnung. Sehr gerne immer wieder wenn wir in Hamburg sind.

Authentisches, wirklich leckeres Essen! Wir hatten zu zweit eine Platte mit gemischten 'Kleinigkeiten', Tapas. Der Chianti lohnte eine Flasche und die Bedienung war sehr, sehr aufmerksam und nett!

This was a really lovely authentic restaurant that is tucked away in the city. The staff were really friendly and we also spoke Spanish to them. The atmosphere was really welcoming and the other guests were having a great time too. The food was lovely, would definitely recommend the tapas.

Das war ein super Abend, hatten leider nicht reserviert , ich habe angerufen und mir wurde freundlich gesagt das ich doch einfach vorbeikommen sollte, für zwei ist bestimmt bald etwas frei. Wir machen uns auf den Weg ins Portugiesenviertel, und siehe da der super freundliche Mann hinter der Theke konnte sich noch an meinen Anruf erinnern und nach 15 Minuten hatten wir einen Tisch, so macht essen gehen Spaß und alle im Restaurant waren super freundlich. Das Essen war lecker und reichlich, wir kommen gerne wieder beim nächsten Hamburg Besuch.

Mein Lieblingslokal in Hamburg! :) Sehr herzliche und immer gut gelaunte Inhaber, sehr nettes und aufmerksames Personal, das immer alle Hände voll zu tun hat und sich trotzdem Zeit nimmt zu fragen wie es einem geht. :) Wenn man gutes, spanisches Essen und spanische Mentalität erleben möchte, dann ist man im Casa Ricardo genau richtig und hat seinen Wohlfühlplatz gefunden. Mein Tipp: reservieren, egal ob Wochentag oder Wochenende! (Dienstags ist Ruhetag.) Noch ein Tipp: Sangria bestellen! Ich verspreche, Ihr werdet nie wieder eine bessere als hier trinken. :)) Danach ein Likör 43 auf Eis oder ein Sol y Sombra und zum Abschluss einen Cortado. :D Das alles natürlich nach einem leckeren Essen! :)))) Ach so, und die Musik, also, ganz ehrlich, es ist oft so "gut gelaunt-spanisch laut", dass ich die Musik gar nicht höre * lach* und an leiseren, gemütlicheren Abenden höre ich spanische Musik... Also, alles gut! 😁 Salud! 😄

Wir fanden es so gut, dass wir gleich an zwei von drei Abenden dort waren. Am ersten Abend haben wir uns durch die Tapas durchgearbeitet und fanden alles, von gratiniertem Ziegenkäse, über Champignons, den Datteln im Speckmantel, den besten Albondigas ever u d Tintenfischringen, die meinem Mann zum Dahinschmelzen brachten, war alles so perfekt, dass wir gern am nächsten Tag mal eine Hauptspeise probieren wollten. Gute Idee, so konnten wir auch noch vom phantastischen Pata negra naschen, wundervollen Steinbutt vom Grill bzw. Gambas a la Plancha genießen. Dazu gab es super Wein zu vernünftigen Preisen und einen sehr freundlichen, herzlichen Service. Wir haben uns rund um wohl gefühlt.

Immer wieder etwas besonderes und ein Gefühl wie bei der Familie, auch wenn man nicht jede Woche hier zu Gast ist. Sehr leckeres Essen, tolle Atmosphäre und freundliche Bedienung

Super hyggelig restaurant, med ualmindelig god og autentisk mad (spansk). Vi fik et bord til to, selvom der var proppet og vi ikke havde reserveret på forhånd, hvilket var meget pænt af dem (det er altid en fordel at bestille bord på forhånd, også på hverdage i Hamborg... Lessons learned). Fik skøn skøn mad og god og venlig betjening.

Kleines, sehr familiäres, spanisches Lokal mit ausgezeichneter, authentischer Küche. Wir kamen spontan vorbei und haben zu zweit an einem Samstagabend noch einen Tisch bekommen. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und auf die bestellte Paella de marisco hat es sich gelohnt zu warten. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen!

Wir waren ohne Tischreservierung zu Zweit um 18.30Uhr dort. Uns wurde ein Tisch angeboten, mit der Ansage „es ist voll, Essen kann dauern“. Entgegen dieser Aussage ging es super schnell, die sehr nette Bedienung hat uns trotz vollem Haus noch hervorragend beraten. Das Essen, insbesondere die Tapas waren fantastisch und Vieles hausgemacht. Da mir die grünen Oliven besonders gut geschmeckt haben, wurde mir noch ein kleines Schüsselchen extra gebracht. Alles in allem super lecker, große Portionen - wir kommen definitiv wieder!

Wir haben heute mit 14 Personen hier eine leckere Auswahl von Tapas, eine Paella, Plato mit Steak Chorizo, Ei und Hähnchen gegessen. Alle Speisen waren von hervorragender Qualität und mit spanischem Flair gewürzt. Die Creme der Katalan schloss den Abend ab. Preis/ Leistung hervoragend. Der Service war aufmerksam und freundlich.

Wir waren an Landungsbrücken im Hamburg und haben dieses gute spanische Restaurant gefunden. Das Essen war gut -besonders die Churros con chocolate- und die Bedienung war sehr freundlich. Eine sehr gute Option in dem portugiesischen Viertel.

Beim Stadtrundgang durch das Portugiesenviertel in der Nähe der Landungsbrücken sind wir durch Zufall auf das Casa Ricardo gestoßen. Kleines spanisches Restaurant, landestypisch einfach eingerichtet, das Personal ist sehr freundlich und bemüht. Wir hatten eine Fischplatte und einmal gegrillten Lachs, beides war ansprechend angerichtet und wirklich lecker. Zum Nachtisch gab es dann noch Churros - wie in Spanien. Es hat alles gepasst, für uns ein wunderschöner Abend.

Ein sehr netter und freundlicher Kontakt per Mail vorab und ein toller Abend im Casa Ricardo. Die Tapas waren lecker und der Service klasse. Meine Empfehlung ist Euch sicher 🍷

Went here on a busy Saturday evening. No reservations but we could wait outside with a beer. At 19:30 we got a table inside. The guy who helped us was really friendly although he forgot some things. I didn’t get a glass of water next to my wine and one of the tapas was late because he didn’t wrote it down. But that was not the worst... we ordered tapas... - chicken: just chicken... no herbs, nothing - fried squid rings: rubber, no taste - recommended potatoes: it was just cooked potatoes with a plain sauce. - meatballs in tomato sauce: the sauce was ok, the meatballs were made from cardboard - chorizo in red wine: all in all the best of the worst... tasted nice but way too dry - ham croquettes: in 1 out of 4 pieces we found a small piece of ham... the rest was just the ragout. - Gambas with bacon: they were ok but tasteless, like everything else. The wine was priced good, but we don’t come back here for the food. When we wanted to share our experience with the staff we were just ignored and we were all wrong... a pity...

This Spanish restaurant is in the middle of the Portogaise area ,the food was nice and good and the service was also good they give few trying of olives and more.

This was a totally horrific experience as my friend and I didn't realise that the restaurant was empty because there was an extremely loud football game in progress . Food did not come at same time and ended with us leaving with dishes uneaten . Further misunderstanding ensued because the waiter could not speak English or German . Awful evening . Awful food . Awful experience.

We visited Casa Ricardo and were very impressed. You helped yourself to tapas and it was all very good, and a big choice. One of our party needed Gluten Free and this was no problem. We had the best Churros and creme brûlée we have ever tasted , absolutely lovely. It's well worth a visit and you will not be dissapointed.

A warm and friendly place surrounded by Portuguese restaurants. Some of the fish was delicious while some was a little average, the sangria was 20 euro per litre which we found a little expensive. Overall a great place to eat.

We were here on a very busy night and lucky to get a table. However, we'd have expected a bit more efficiency from a restaurant - it's a large place and I can't imagine it's always empty. We waited almost an hour for our drinks and another hour for our food. One of our dishes was very good, the other (grilled fish) was badly burned on one side. We would have sent it back, but didn't want to wait another hour. The waitress (owner?) was very friendly, though.

I shared a hot tapas platter. For €26 we got a huge selection of tasty seafood, chorizo, prunes wrapped in pancetta, potato with dips and bread (see photo). I took the wine recommended by the waiter without hesitation and it was good! A very nice rioja. It was a Sunday night, and there was no table at our first choice restaurant. Casa Ricardo on the other hand had a lot of available tables so I was a bit concerned, but my concern was not warranted. I would certainly go back.

There are many interesting restaurants in Hamburg's Portuguese district, unfortunately, the well-rated once are no secret and on the Saturday night we tried to visit, most were already fully booked. At Casa Ricardo we still found three places shortly after 6pm. When we left the restaurant two hours later, there were already many people waiting, a clear sign that we were not yet in Spain ... Casa Ricardo can be described as a family-friendly, Spanish pub with live music and good food. The staff is friendly and happy to speak Spanish. The kitchen is good and the meals also meet Spanish demands. The freshly prepared paella Valenciana was better than any other Paella I have tried north of the Pyrenees. The fish barbacue is highly recommended. The toilets are in the basement, at the end of a long, chaotic hallway, but otherwise acceptable. Three main courses, a bottle of water and a bottle of the excellent Rioja Crianza recommended by the waiter came to € 70.50. Price-performance ****
