Super service, super Tapas and Spanish wine, Ok prices

Found by pure chance through the fork application, well I can safely tell you that this place was a godsend, the owner, a young boy from Ecuador, is friendly and really attentive to his customers, he even satisfied me on a request that could not be made for just one order, but he still fulfilled my wish, excellent food, at a price that is considered almost half of a classic typical Germanic restaurant, the very welcoming location just a stone's throw away from the metro, I certainly recommend it highly.

Unfortunately not everything on the memory card was in stock on a Friday at 6:30 p.m After ordering, two dishes were prepared and we were then informed that our order was no longer there

Really top food and drinks at fair prices. Can only be recommended. We had tapas as a starter and paella seafood. I haven't eaten so well in a long time. Worth every penny.

A small, cozy restaurant with friendly service. The food is freshly prepared, but the price-performance ratio is a bit high. The wines are not listed on the menu, which is strange, but the waiter gave us good advice. I understand something different by the term traditional Spanish cuisine. Personally, I missed the typical taste of olive oil, which is an integral part of Spanish cuisine, as well as the way it was prepared and a lot of garlic. So as a Spanish woman I'm a bit disappointed. Is that why it’s bad? No, but not traditional. As an example: You can get pizza on every corner and you like it. But when you go to an Italian restaurant and order a pizza (between €14 and €19), you expect a certain quality in the preparation of the dough and ingredients. And that's exactly what we were missing... What a shame.

Had dinner there this evening, my wife ordered pulpo with vegetables and potatoes, I ordered four tapas. My wife's meal came with salad but without potatoes. When we asked, we were told it would come soon. My tapas came after three quarters of an hour. Then my wife's potatoes came from the kitchen as a greeting. My tortilla wasn't cooked through in the middle. After my complaint they said it had to be that way. So absolutely not recommended.

I’ve never tasted local Spanish food, so I can’t give any feedback about whether it’s a real Spanish cuisine. However, we really recommend this restaurant as the cook is super sincere and nice. But since we don’t eat very salty food, so the mini potatoes with salt on them were a bit too salty for us. If you mind, maybe you can tell them don’t wrap too much salt on them😄

We didn't know that the restaurant was about to close when we went there. Nevertheless, we were offered a place and tried to offer as much as possible. Everything was just perfect, although we had to improvise. A wonderful evening and incredibly delicious food. We can unconditionally recommend the Del Sur! Just great. Thank you for this wonderful evening.

We received a very friendly welcome and, despite the late hour, we still had delicious, homemade tapas. Thank you for the spontaneous candlelight dinner. We can highly recommend the restaurant!

We arrived at 10 p.m. and were allowed to place an order for food. Food was very good. Both tapas and meat/fish dishes, very tasty. Staff super friendly. An absolute recommendation!😌

This restaurant is an absolute disaster! This was our first and last time at Del Sur. When we arrived, we noticed that the previous name plaque was still hanging above the entrance. When we entered the restaurant we were a bit irritated because there were still Christmas decorations hanging in the windows. It has to be said that it was August. Several tables were full of used, uncleared dishes and unfortunately the only waiter didn't understand us when we said we had reserved for three people. He was completely overwhelmed with everything! Something went wrong when ordering the drinks, red wine came instead of white wine, and beer came instead of Alster water. Only the cola and water were delivered correctly. Then we wanted to order bread with aioli, but bread was out and that was in a Spanish restaurant at 8 p.m. Then we ordered six different tapas. Time passed, the neighboring tables all received their food, even though they arrived later. Suddenly the waiter came to our table and wanted to know what we had ordered, our note had been lost. By now over an hour had passed. When we asked for the card again, our piece of paper was suddenly there again. The portions of the tapas were relatively small and very tasteless. A portion was delivered incorrectly, was quickly corrected, but was then cold.

Being Spanish, I can confirm that Del Sur brings a true taste of Spain to Hamburg. The food is exceptional, with flavorful tapas and perfect paella. The service is friendly and attentive, making you feel at home. Highly recommended for a genuine Spanish culinary experience!

It was very cozy and the food was excellent! The three of us were served lots of tapas, all of which were great. Service and ambience were perfect, I can only recommend Del Sur!

A nice little restaurant, the food was very tasty although the prices were a little higher. The service was good, the waiter didn't know exactly what should go into the cocktails on the menu and the coffee machine was also broken. Anything can happen. But despite everything, I can recommend it for its taste.

Best paella from all over Hamburg! Very cozy atmosphere and excellent service, we would love to come back!

We received a very friendly welcome and service at Del Sur. The selection of food is sufficient. Unfortunately there is no wine list, so we had to rely on the waiter's recommendation. But this worked. Our salads and the vegetarian paella tasted sensational. The prices for them as well as for the drinks are more than humane for the location of the restaurant. Unfortunately, the smell in the guest room was extremely unpleasant, even though the windows were open. The menus were also quite dingy. I still give it 5 stars overall because the service, food and prices were extremely convincing.

By chance, seven of us were there on a Thursday evening from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. - we were the only guests throughout! That seemed strange to us. When asked, they said they were still relatively new and still had to invest in marketing - aha... not very credible when there were reviews here from over 3 years ago. The employee couldn't tell us anything more because he spoke German poorly. Which isn't a bad thing, but it was challenging during the ordering process. Still, he seemed very lost. Half of the dishes could not be ordered because the menu was currently being rewritten. The food didn't come at the same time even though we were the only guests! And then it was mediocre, nothing special.

Searched for the Elbphilharmonie via Google. Except for the calamari, the tapas were excellent. As usual with warm tapas, you can expect longer waiting times.

A really nice restaurant with very tasty food that is freshly prepared. We happened to be here and were served very friendly and there was a nice Rioja Reserva to go with the delicious Spanish food - what more could you want? The restaurant is nicely decorated and fully recommended. We're looking forward to coming back! Yesterday we were at Del Sur again and the great experience was fully confirmed!

We made a reservation on a Saturday evening and ordered some very good appetizer tapas. I recommend the ham croquettes. Secondly: very tasty paella with seafood. It was worth the wait and the service was very friendly. We will be back.

There were six of us there. Unfortunately there was only one waitress there, who was not an expert and was on her first day there, and the restaurant was very busy. Despite being informed at around 6:00 p.m. that we wanted to go to the Elphi on time for the concert, which started at 8:00 p.m. and that we therefore had to leave at 7:30 p.m. at the latest, it took a very long time for the tapas came, and then not even all of them. We then canceled the tapas that hadn't arrived yet because we had to go. I don't understand why it's not possible to serve ham in over an hour. Several people ordered apple spritzer, but Cola came instead. The Prosecco can be highlighted positively. This was wonderful because instead of the usual champagne glass there was a whole white wine glass for everyone. I noticed that the paella can only be ordered for 2 people, and according to the menu it takes at least 30 minutes. I'm not sure if this is a good sign and this is freshly prepared, but then why only for 2 people? All in all, cozy atmosphere. I will definitely go there with plenty of time and without time pressure and try the main courses.

Schlechteste Crema Catalana die ich jeh gegessen habe. Die Tapas waren bis auf wenige Ausnahmen sehr Geschmacksarm. Die Bedienung hat unverständlich leise gesprochen. Deutsch konnte sie nicht, English nur dürftig. Und es war nichtmal Brot vorhanden. Manchego ebenfalls nicht. Beides betrachte ich als Kernzutaten beim Spanier. Die Musik war zwischendurch mehrere Minuten aus, was in den unprofessionelen Gesamteindruck passt. Absolut keine Empfehlung!

Nettes Ambiente, die Bedienung sehr bemüht, aber Verständigung schwierig wenn man kein Spanisch kann.. Das Essen war nichts besonderes, der Pulpo z.B. war definitiv nicht frisch und die fritierten Calamares viel zu lang gegart.. Am Stress kann es nicht gelegen haben, da kaum Gäste da waren. Sehr schade ..

Waren zu Besuch in Hamburg und sind dran vorbei gelaufen . Sehr schönes einfaches Ambiente, welches mir sehr gut gefällt. Die Tapas waren sehr lecker und auch die Hauptmahlzeiten. Sehr freundliche und zuvorkommende Bedienung. Wenn wir wieder hier sind werden wir sicher wieder hin gehen.

Super Restaurant! Leckeres Essen, freundliches Personal. Die Preise sind angemessen, dort würde ich auf jeden Fall nochmal hingehen.

Manchmal steht man nach dem Besuch eines Restaurant davor und weiß nicht so recht, was das jetzt genau war. Das Essen hat gut geschmeckt, der Wein war lecker. Aber der Rest..? Für 85€ bin ich noch nie hungrig aus einer Tapas-Bar gegangen. Die Portionen sind echt mickrig, die einzige Kellnerin ist überfordert und die Preise für eine Flasche Wein sind nicht gekennzeichnet. Alles in allem leider eine Enttäuschung.

Super Ambiente, mega Essen, super nette Kellnerin! 😊 .. wird jetzt jedes mal ein muss, wenn wir in Hamburg zu besuch sind 🥳 .. GRAĆIAS ❤️ .. hasta la proxima del sur 😍❤️

El restaurante tiene un ambiente muy español, como debe ser! La comida súper buena y rápido su chef, volvería sin duda!

Das Essen kann ich nicht bewerten, da wir es wegen mangelhaften Service abbestellt haben. Keiner hat einen Überblick über die Speisekarte und das angebotene Sortiment.

Me encanto el lugar, los trabajadores como el chef impecable. La paella valenciana idéntica! Lo recomiendo al 100%.

Spontan hier gewesen. Tappas super lecker, anschließend eine Paella mit Meeresfrüchten, einfach nur lecker. Creme Catalana perfekt. Aufmerksame und freundlicher Service.

Mein Favorit vor einem Konzert in der Elphi!!! Schön gemütlich, ruhig und dennoch schnell. Es ist immer eher leer gut für uns, aber ich wünsche Del Sur mehr volle Tische. Bei dem leckeren Essen!!!

Schöner Lokal, klein aber sehr nett. Service war sehr aufmerksam und sehr nett. Unglaublich lecker die „Paella“. Auf jeden Fall zum weiter empfehlen.

Very kind service and delicious food!

Äußerst gastfreundlicher Service (reguliert auf Wunsch Musiklautstärke, zündet Kerzen nicht nur am besetzten Tisch an), feines Essen, keine überladenen Portionen, leckere Weinauswahl, Wohlfühlambiente!

Top Bedienung, schnell und selbstbewusst, immer ne coolen norddeutschen trockenen Spruch drauf, ich liebe es! Leider vergessen Fotos zu machen, haben auch nur schnell was getrunken, leider nichts gegessen, daher kann ich das Essen nicht beurteilen , aber was ich sah, war richtig lecker. Zwar an ner Hauptverkehrsstrasse gelegen, hat aber null gestört. Hat doch viele verschiedene Typen gesehen, mir hats gut gefallen, geh ich bestimmt nochmal hin!

Das Essen (Lachsfilet) war gerade noch okay... weder Fisch noch Gemüse waren gewürzt. Hätte mehr Innovation erwartet. Außerdem ist die Speise regelrecht im Fett geschwommen... Als Beilagengemüse gab es 1/4 Paprika rot und gelb, 2 Scheiben Melanzani, 2 Scheiben Zuccini und 2 Stück Brokkoli (alles jeweils gewürfelt). Kellner war freundlich, wirkte aber leicht überfordert. Die Zubereitungszeit war dafür dass wir die die einzigen beiden Gäste waren relativ lang (ca. 15-20 Minuten). Ich würde das Lokal nicht mehr aufsuchen.

Lange auf nem Sonntag nach einem Restaurant gesucht und dann zum Glück diese kleine schnuckelige Tapas Bar gefunden.! Leckeres Essen, freundliche Bedienung und schönes Ambiente.... Spanische Musik und San Miguel!!! Satt und glücklich zurück ins Hotel!!!
