This weekend we visited our friends in Hamburg. They took us to this really cool restaurant called Claudio's. The food was amazing! The tapas were especially amazing, a must for any Spain fan. Even if you're not hungry, you should definitely stop by and try one of their delicious wines or grappa. The food is a bit more expensive, but it's totally worth it. The service was great, and the chef, Claudio, even greeted us personally at our table. He told us that a restaurant will be opening in Peguera, Mallorca, in 2026! We're excited to welcome such a great restaurateur to our favorite island! We'll definitely go there in 2026 and check it out. Oh yeah, and the waitress, Vanessa, was so friendly and cheerful.

This is our third time there, and we would go back again. The food is fresh and delicious.

That was a culinary delight of the highest order. The dry-aged tomahawk steak was cooked to perfection. Very tender and tasted absolutely fantastic. The service was also first-class. We'll be happy to come back.

The restaurant is tastefully decorated, and the staff are true hosts who give you a warm welcome, are attentive, and make you feel at ease, even when you speak English. The food is delicious. The steak was perfectly cooked and nicely seasoned, the fries were good, and the desserts were heavenly. But honestly, it is really expensive. The whole experience was fantastic, so four stars!

Yesterday, we ate the 1.2 kg dry-aged Retinto beef tomahawk steak, carved at our table, including side dishes for two people, and EVERYTHING was simply unbelievably delicious. The meat was top-notch, the vegetables were delicious and crispy, and the potatoes and dip were perfect. Great and very attentive service! I highly recommend Claudio's.

We had two 1.2kg Tomahawk steaks, which were perfectly prepared. The side dishes were plentiful, and the service was very friendly and always on top of us. We felt very comfortable and can only recommend it. A very successful evening at Claudio's! Our second visit was just as great as the first.

My daughter gave me a Groupon voucher for Father's Day. Her choice was a meal for two, and because I'm a steak lover, she opted for the Tomahawk steak, which was absolutely amazing. We'll definitely be back, and maybe my wife can come too.

Today, July 8, 2025, we had the Tomahawk steak again and were so impressed! We came here with a Groupon voucher and were absolutely thrilled! Everything is just perfect here: the food (Tomahawk steak), the service, and the entire decor were absolutely fantastic! And the wine recommendation was spot on, too. We'll definitely be back!

We didn't have a reservation, but we still managed to get a table on the spot. We had steak with various side dishes, and everything was incredibly good.

The most beautiful alternative to a Spanish vacation. Claudio and his wife bring Spain to Hamburg. A culinary journey through Spain. The wait staff are so enthusiastic that they would probably even let the sun shine on a rainy day. When eating, you can sense the chef's love for food. Furthermore, everything is beautifully presented. As is well known, eating is a feast for the eyes. Mine were very pleased. The exceptional selection of meat is particularly noteworthy. If you want really good meat, this is the place. But if you don't feel like eating, I recommend stopping here and enjoying a delicious wine. My conclusion: I have to come back. As Arnold Schwarzenegger once said: hasta la vista

We had a truly wonderful dinner at Claudius. The food was prepared to perfection (the meat was grilled exactly the way we asked), the service was very attentive, and the ambiance was lovely and pleasantly quiet last night. However, if you treat yourself to a starter, main course, and wine, it's definitely not cheap. We'll be back anyway, because for me it's one of the best, if not the best, restaurants in Hamburg.

We chose this restaurant because we'd heard about the good quality of the meat. When we arrived, the decor immediately caught our attention. It took some getting used to, to put it nicely. It's not my cup of tea. A colorful mix of silver, gold, and green chairs and large candlesticks. The menu is divided into a small section for meat, a page for tapas, and dessert and drinks. The meat selection is straightforward: Kobe, Wagyu, beef fillet, Tomahawk steak, entrecote. You'd expect the side dishes on the next page, but they're missing. So you're forced to order tapas. We had a good starter. The meat was served with pimientos de padrón and fries. The pimientos were great, and the fries were okay. The beef fillet was phenomenal. Such a fine texture and great flavor. I haven't even found anything like it at the Estancia steakhouse. For dessert, we had flan and caramel cake. Both were good. I can really recommend this place for meat. Very, very good quality. Unfortunately, we weren't impressed by the side dish menu and the decor.

We happened upon this place last year during a trade fair and were so impressed by the quality of the food, the super friendly staff, and the beautiful decor that we'll definitely be back this year! I'm already looking forward to the delicious anchovy fillets!

We managed to get an outside seat as we were a very large group. The outside was very nice, however it was marred by a vagrant singing, understandably this is not the fault of the restaurant, but it was a bit off-putting. The food was sublime, I had pork belly, and blood pudding (as well as bits and pieces from all my friends plates). The pork belly was some of the best I have had, and I could have easily had many more plates of this! The garlic mushrooms were particularly good too! We were offered some bread, garlic aioli, and iberico ham as an appetizer, this was not free, much to our disappointment. Definitely a lovely place to go for a bite to eat, and I would be interested to try some of the other tapas dishes.

Die Auswahl der Tapas ist sehr vielseitig: Von Klassikern bis hin zu neuen und kreativen Variationen. Die Darreichung war sehr ansprechend, jede Tapas war extrem lecker und das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis stimmte ebenfalls. Zu guter letzter war der Service sehr zuvorkommend und hat uns gut beraten.

Top location, chef Claudio offers excellent Spanish cuisine, friendly, personable team. It rightly received an award for its location and cuisine. Tapas and various meat dishes at a high level. Please to be not far from the subway exhibition hall.

A good culinary experience in the heart of Hamburg Together with friends we treated ourselves to the dry-aged tomahawk steak - a powerful 1.2 kg beef experience, The dry-aged tomahawk steak is stylishly carved at the table and impresses with its intense flavors and excellent meat quality. Seasonal vegetables and Canarian potatoes round off the menu harmoniously. Authentic Mediterranean ambience and first-class service make Claudio's my favorite in Hamburg's Karolinenviertel.

We had dinner at the restaurant yesterday on the occasion of my birthday. My friend had reserved a table in advance and even called to ask for special decorations - unfortunately this request was ignored, which really spoiled the planned surprise for her. The service was friendly, attentive and always eager to ask if we needed anything else. I would like to emphasize this as a positive thing. The food itself was unfortunately mixed. At first glance, the large piece of meat looked promising, but the taste was not convincing; it was full of tendons, tough spots and therefore hardly edible. The Canarian potatoes and vegetables, on the other hand, were delicious. All in all, it was an evening with mixed feelings. The service was good, but both the food and the unrealized birthday surprise unfortunately left a disappointing impression.

Gemäß unseren Vorlieben wurde uns ein toller Wein empfohlen, kompetenter und ebenso freundlicher und herzlicher Service den ganzen Abend. Gegessen haben wir eine Auswahl von 5 Tapas, von allem etwas dabei. Die Qualität war hochwertig und die Gerichte perfekt gegart und abgeschmeckt. Der Hammer war der Iberico-Schinken, besseren haben wir noch keinen gegessen. Tolles Team, wir kommen wieder.

It was our first time there and we received a very familiar and friendly welcome! Starting with the reservation to visiting the restaurant! Unfortunately, this is no longer a given in the service industry today! The atmosphere is very quaint and cozy. The food was very tasty! We had a lovely evening all around! We will definitely come back! You could tell that there is a lot of passion in the restaurant and that everything is done with love! We look forward to our next visit with you!

The first time the food was great there and... Now for the 2nd time there and had ordered Tomahawk Steak again and unfortunately the quality of the steak was not good, there was more rare than medium rare too much tendon. We took the bone with us for the dog and unpacked it and a disgusting, rotten smell hit our noses, wondering what had smelled so bad in the car. The bone smelled like rotten meat, the whole kitchen stank when I unpacked it, very shocking. Thanks for the not good meat, the meat wasn't that good for my stomach. There won't be a third time because it's gotten worse.

The price-performance ratio doesn't even begin to fit. This applies in particular to the dessert, all convenience and presented without sophistication. The devices also seem to me to be of reasonable quality, but all overpriced.

The evening started promisingly. Great menu, nice ambience and a super friendly cellar. We basically ordered a little bit of everything so that we could try everything. Unfortunately, price-performance didn't really suit us. Nevertheless, it was a nice atmosphere - until the waiter changed. From that point on it went downhill. We were neither asked whether it was tasty nor whether we would like to order more drinks. We felt like we were uncomfortable guests. When asked about this, I got the tip from the waiter: “Just relax” and he mimicked my order. That's exactly what I want to hear as a guest. The ordered bill was then thrown on the table in a box. We just exchanged incredulous looks, paid and left. I have never experienced such poor service.

Our visit to Claudio's was a complete success! The restaurant impresses with a cozy atmosphere and a great ambience. We had Groupon vouchers and were wondering if there would be any restrictions - but everything went smoothly! A particular highlight was the tomahawk steak: perfectly grilled, juicy and full of flavor. The quality of the meat was first class, and the side dishes were also excellently balanced. A big compliment goes to waitress Lisa, who made our evening even more pleasant with her friendly and attentive manner. Despite a busy restaurant, she always had a smile on her face and was always willing to help. Overall it was a wonderful evening with great food, great service and a pleasant atmosphere. If you're looking for a good steak in Hamburg, you've come to the right place - and with the Groupon vouchers, the value for money was unbeatable!

We were looking forward (too early) to a top steak. Unfortunately, the quality of the Wagyu steak did not meet our expectations. 1/3 fat, 2/3 chewy… The smoked and smelly air in the restaurant completed the experience. Too bad. ☹️

Today we went to Claudio's as a group. The food is absolutely delicious, excellent quality, just perfect! The service is very attentive, funny and fast! 100% recommendation! We sat upstairs where the smells from the kitchen may have moved upstairs. We found this to be a disadvantage because the smells migrated into the clothing and hair. The “air” was smoky/hazy. But that is not an obstacle to come back. Thank you for the lovely evening.

We have been coming to Claudio's Restaurant and Bar for about 7 years, the last time on September 21st, 2024. Since we live in Zurich, it requires a little more organizational planning, but once or twice a year is fine. And for those who are now wondering whether we combine a stay in a restaurant with something else, no. Most of the time we just come for dinner and fly back the next day. The good location of Claudio's can be easily combined with shopping beforehand and ideally with a bar tour afterwards. Restaurant: Good location, nice decor. Food: Sensational. For the starter we had the Ibèrico Bellota and other little things from the menu, and for the main course we had the Japanese and Australian Wagyu, each 200 g, as well as side dishes. Plus the well-suited Hacienda Manasterio. Price: We paid a little over €600 for 2 people, but that was due to our consumption (Wagyu's and 2 bottles of wine; therefore very fair). The menu also contains cheaper items that have the usual excellent quality. Service: We were sensationally accompanied throughout the evening. Claudio: “Met” in 2017 after the broadcast of “My Local, Your Local”. Claudio and his connection to food and the world of enjoyment were already impressive back then and the amazing thing is that it still lasts today. Based on the above, we will probably be coming back and recommend Claudio's R. & B. without hesitation to anyone who likes to enjoy a meal and spend an evening in a beautiful atmosphere.

First, as a test, we decided to use a Groupon voucher for a 1.2kg tomahawk steak for two people. Since no appointment was available at short notice via the booking platform, I called directly and arranged an appointment for the following evening. Very positive. And we weren't disappointed. The service was very open-minded and friendly. Despite the upscale ambience and price level, everyone was very relaxed and yet friendly. The food came after a while. The two tapas side dishes were absolutely sufficient for two - in addition to the generous portion of meat. Everything was on point. Finally, I treated myself to a gin and tonic. The bar offering was also extraordinary. So I decided to reserve a table that evening on the occasion of a birthday. The restaurant was also full that evening because of the mass, which was later acoustically noticeable. But that didn't detract from the service or the high quality food. My guests were also enthusiastic and full of praise. The 200g beef fillet portion initially seemed a bit small because it was very thick. In the end, the various, delicious tapas were absolutely enough for me as a good eater. It was a successful evening and we talked about it a few more times. This definitely won't be the last visit.

Claudio's is a great restaurant! We just wanted to eat a few snacks and drink some wine. The advice on the subject of wine was 1a, since they unfortunately didn't have the preferred rosé on offer, we were quickly offered 3 alternatives including a detailed description. The tapas were also very tasty and nicely prepared. I will definitely come back!
