The first time we ate there, it was great. This was our second time there, and we ordered a Tomahawk steak, and unfortunately, the steak wasn't good quality; it was more rare than medium-rare, with too many tendons. We took the bone for the dog and unpacked it, and a disgusting, rotten smell hit us. We were already wondering what had caused the smell in the car. The bone stank of rotten meat; the whole kitchen stank when we unpacked it, which was quite shocking. Thanks for the not-so-good meat; the meat wasn't so good for my stomach. ...

We had a perfect evening at Claudio's. The tapas and desserts were excellent, as was the service. We'll definitely be back.

I reserved a table through Groupon with a large piece of meat for 2 and it was the perfect decision. Staff very very nice and friendly as well as competent. Food from starters to meat and side dishes, everything was super tasty and sufficiently served! 😊 If you're still thinking about it, just go!

The price-performance ratio doesn't even begin to fit. This applies in particular to the dessert, all convenience and presented without sophistication. The devices also seem to me to be of reasonable quality, but all overpriced.

The evening started promisingly. Great menu, nice ambience and a super friendly cellar. We basically ordered a little bit of everything so that we could try everything. Unfortunately, price-performance didn't really suit us. Nevertheless, it was a nice atmosphere - until the waiter changed. From that point on it went downhill. We were neither asked whether it was tasty nor whether we would like to order more drinks. We felt like we were uncomfortable guests. When asked about this, I got the tip from the waiter: “Just relax” and he mimicked my order. That's exactly what I want to hear as a guest. The ordered bill was then thrown on the table in a box. We just exchanged incredulous looks, paid and left. I have never experienced such poor service.

Rarely have I seen such a great, well-rehearsed team 👍🏼 and then the food was pure enjoyment and simply awesome 👍🏼

Our visit to Claudio's was a complete success! The restaurant impresses with a cozy atmosphere and a great ambience. We had Groupon vouchers and were wondering if there would be any restrictions - but everything went smoothly! A particular highlight was the tomahawk steak: perfectly grilled, juicy and full of flavor. The quality of the meat was first class, and the side dishes were also excellently balanced. A big compliment goes to waitress Lisa, who made our evening even more pleasant with her friendly and attentive manner. Despite a busy restaurant, she always had a smile on her face and was always willing to help. Overall it was a wonderful evening with great food, great service and a pleasant atmosphere. If you're looking for a good steak in Hamburg, you've come to the right place - and with the Groupon vouchers, the value for money was unbeatable!

We were looking forward (too early) to a top steak. Unfortunately, the quality of the Wagyu steak did not meet our expectations. 1/3 fat, 2/3 chewy… The smoked and smelly air in the restaurant completed the experience. Too bad. ☹️

We had dinner there after the fair last year. This year too we were able to enjoy our dinner there after a day at the trade fair. Service was great as always and the food was simply delicious.

Today we went to Claudio's as a group. The food is absolutely delicious, excellent quality, just perfect! The service is very attentive, funny and fast! 100% recommendation! We sat upstairs where the smells from the kitchen may have moved upstairs. We found this to be a disadvantage because the smells migrated into the clothing and hair. The “air” was smoky/hazy. But that is not an obstacle to come back. Thank you for the lovely evening.

We have been coming to Claudio's Restaurant and Bar for about 7 years, the last time on September 21st, 2024. Since we live in Zurich, it requires a little more organizational planning, but once or twice a year is fine. And for those who are now wondering whether we combine a stay in a restaurant with something else, no. Most of the time we just come for dinner and fly back the next day. The good location of Claudio's can be easily combined with shopping beforehand and ideally with a bar tour afterwards. Restaurant: Good location, nice decor. Food: Sensational. For the starter we had the Ibèrico Bellota and other little things from the menu, and for the main course we had the Japanese and Australian Wagyu, each 200 g, as well as side dishes. Plus the well-suited Hacienda Manasterio. Price: We paid a little over €600 for 2 people, but that was due to our consumption (Wagyu's and 2 bottles of wine; therefore very fair). The menu also contains cheaper items that have the usual excellent quality. Service: We were sensationally accompanied throughout the evening. Claudio: “Met” in 2017 after the broadcast of “My Local, Your Local”. Claudio and his connection to food and the world of enjoyment were already impressive back then and the amazing thing is that it still lasts today. Based on the above, we will probably be coming back and recommend Claudio's R. & B. without hesitation to anyone who likes to enjoy a meal and spend an evening in a beautiful atmosphere.

First, as a test, we decided to use a Groupon voucher for a 1.2kg tomahawk steak for two people. Since no appointment was available at short notice via the booking platform, I called directly and arranged an appointment for the following evening. Very positive. And we weren't disappointed. The service was very open-minded and friendly. Despite the upscale ambience and price level, everyone was very relaxed and yet friendly. The food came after a while. The two tapas side dishes were absolutely sufficient for two - in addition to the generous portion of meat. Everything was on point. Finally, I treated myself to a gin and tonic. The bar offering was also extraordinary. So I decided to reserve a table that evening on the occasion of a birthday. The restaurant was also full that evening because of the mass, which was later acoustically noticeable. But that didn't detract from the service or the high quality food. My guests were also enthusiastic and full of praise. The 200g beef fillet portion initially seemed a bit small because it was very thick. In the end, the various, delicious tapas were absolutely enough for me as a good eater. It was a successful evening and we talked about it a few more times. This definitely won't be the last visit.

Claudio's is a great restaurant! We just wanted to eat a few snacks and drink some wine. The advice on the subject of wine was 1a, since they unfortunately didn't have the preferred rosé on offer, we were quickly offered 3 alternatives including a detailed description. The tapas were also very tasty and nicely prepared. I will definitely come back!

Was at Claudio's last night, the chef personally came to the table and talked a lot about the meat we ordered and carved the tomahawk steak. My guests and I were very excited. The lady in service was very attentive and friendly.

The two of us went to Claudio's today. A great restaurant with extremely friendly and competent service. The tomahawk steak was on point, top quality and the side dishes that went with it were also great. Plus a diverse selection of white wines. Afterwards a delicious dessert with lava cake and buttermilk lime ice cream. All in all it was perfect! Price-wise, it’s also completely okay We'll be back!

Friendly and friendly staff, the rest very little. Of course you can't expect the same flavors you taste in Spain but you don't expect calamari bordering on burnt, champions a little less and 4 miserable gambas al ajillo which tasted like almost nothing. For the prices we draw a veil of mercy, absurd prices for small plates of tapas.

We ordered two kilograms of steak and waited for an hour. At first, only one portion was served. The waiter or the kitchen forgot 😅 But later I was provided with some bread and olives to quell my hunger... As for the meal, the steak is delicious, no doubt, but I hope you are lucky enough not to wait too long~

We are often in this restaurant. And we just have to say that it offers a very nice ambience. The food is fantastic, the wines are a dream and the service... Rarely have we experienced such a feel-good atmosphere. You don't feel like a guest but rather at home. Spain only in Hamburg. It's always worth a visit ❤️

It was the 9th time I was a guest at Claudio's and, like the last few times, I ordered the tomahawk steak medium, and I have always been very satisfied with the degree of doneness and taste of it. Unfortunately, this time of all times, a birthday present for my BF was absolutely not of the quality that I know of. The degree of doneness was basically through to the core in the middle of the meat and absolutely not medium. The service up to this point was, as always, friendly and accommodating. Unfortunately, this quickly changed. Despite an absolutely correct complaint on our part, we were only reprimanded with excuses about the cooking level, both from the waiter and then from the chef and owner himself. The doneness is medium and a steak would not be uniform. There was neither an apology nor any accommodation from the restaurant and from this point onwards we were unfortunately treated with absolutely no hospitality whatsoever. That's really a shame for a restaurant like this. There was a lack of any hospitality. With respect, trying to sell a guest who has already enjoyed a perfect steak with the right medium doneness eight times at Claudio's and who has also grilled various steaks of absolutely comparable quality is absolutely incomprehensible! For me it's not just about the steak itself, but about how you were treated. This is really extremely disappointing. So far I have made many recommendations for Claudio's among friends and acquaintances. Unfortunately, that was destroyed by this evening and Claudio's has lost one of its loyal customers. Not cooking a steak to perfection sometimes happens, but when you are punished as a guest with such ignorance and then you almost feel guilty for having RIGHTLY complained, this is extremely disappointing and annoying!

The points are deducted for the long waiting time (80 minutes), no apology from the staff, only the statement that it just takes a while until the meat is ready. All tables on the first floor had received their food, including the tables that came after us. The food itself was super good.

The meat, fried to our liking, was wonderfully tender. The side dishes were very tasty and the potatoes were great. It's best to book a table and then enjoy a pampering meal. The restaurant offers plenty of space over two tables and is lovingly designed. The food was very tasty and the service was very nice, courteous and very attentive. The restaurant is very cozy and we will definitely come back.

We came here with a smaller group. The food is excellent. High quality, partly classic, partly creative tapas and perfectly fried steaks, delicious dessert. Great, upscale atmosphere. Nice selection of wines, I was particularly impressed by the large selection of dessert wines. One star deducted because the side dishes for the steak didn't come at all and were far too late when asked. The young service staff try to be friendly, but not always confident for the price range. Overall, the restaurant is highly recommended.

Yesterday we spontaneously came here with friends and ordered different variations of tapas. After we had a few olives and the Spanish friend had a special drink request, which was fulfilled, we started eating the extremely delicious food. We were all very excited and I can absolutely recommend it. There was a somewhat upscale feel to it, but we would also be warmly welcomed in our normal outfits.

Some of the best steaks in town! 1A quality and top service!!! The Serrano and Iberico hams are also first class!!! Always worth a visit!!
