We ordered, it took a relatively long time, the gnocci portion was very small for the price, the pizza was still whole and the taste was very trivial

My pizza pepperoni didn’t have pepperoni and tasted bland. It is not expensive and budget friendly

An inconspicuous place from the outside but very cozy inside. Great food, served quickly and very friendly staff, especially to kids 😊

I ordered a pizza via delivery, so I can't say anything about the ambience or service. The pizza that was delivered was really tasty, still warm and just great! Gladly again!!! Delivery time was a bit long but that was already stated beforehand. But I'm happy to wait for such a delicious pizza!

The boss is super friendly and, above all, child-friendly! Every reorder is received with a smile and benevolently. The pizza tastes simply great, and has for years. You feel a bit like you're in Italy. (It certainly doesn't look like it from the outside, but once you're inside, it's just fantastic!)

We arrived early, the first to the restaurant. The chef welcomed us with us smile and noted what we wanted to eat. Then it all changed. The waiter (tall really thin man) asks us in bad manners what we want to eat, and we reply that we already said this to the man who took us notes. He replies that we should say it to him. We do. Then he comes and gives us the meal all angry and bad manners. We ask for the pw of wifi for clients (the name it's wifi FOR CLIENTS) and he says is not for clients and does not give it to us. We will not definitely return😡. They are supposed to make you feel warm and comfortable and he just made us feel the opposite. This does not apply to the chef who was good to us.

Really one of the best pizzeria!

I ordered a pizza with toppings via Lieferando, but only a Margherita pizza was delivered. Unfortunately it wasn't cut either, which is a bit of a fiasco for a hotel guest without access to cutlery. When I called the restaurant I was treated very unfriendly and the owner's wife could be heard swearing insults in the background. Service is different. I won't order here again. The pizza itself was okay!

Delicious food, good selection, friendly staff and a pleasant, quiet location. We like to eat here.

Service was extremely harsh and impolite. Just half of the places were taken but still we had to wait quite a time until we even got the menu because they haven’t had enough of them. When sides were brought to the table and we didn’t know to whom these belong to, I felt like the waiter took our question as an insult. At least thats what I thought because of the look he gave us 😂 Food was ok. Some dishes were seasoned very well, some not at all. Nothing special in general.

Our order was forgotten, we waited 1.5 hours and the food that came was either too hot or too cold… no response from the staff…

We were here in Freiburg on business and wanted pizza for the journey home and ordered here. I am positively surprised!! I don't think I've had such good pizza in a long time! It's a shame you don't exist in Stuttgart, otherwise we would be regular customers. I don't usually leave reviews, but this has to be real! Definitely worth a visit. Whether you eat on site or take away!

Very good pizza, nice ambience and fair prices.

Ordered two main courses, two desserts (it was confirmed that these were alcohol-free). Main course arrived. Unfortunately only one. Second one was forgotten, came 20 minutes later. Dessert with alcohol (it said on the packaging). The offer was: One free Tartufo with your next order. Tartufo comes from the wholesale market. Purchase price 1.50. Sold for 5.90. Viva Italy!

We needed a place to wait for a bit before being able to get into our Air B&B and found Taormina. They welcomed us in with a place to keep our luggage and we enjoyed a salami pizza and beer. We went back that night for a quick, inexpensive meal again.

Delivery time was 45 minutes to 70 minutes and the cancellation took place exactly after 70 minutes

Super unfriendly. Ordered via Lieferando, delivery was cancelled. According to the unfriendly Taormina employee, it is normal to cancel at 10 p.m. (despite ordering at 9:40 p.m. and opening hours until 11 p.m.) - whether we get our order depends on whether a driver comes or not. How we get our food or our money or not doesn't seem to matter. We should contact Lieferando.

Noch nie so eine leckere Pizza gegessen. Hat mir ein Hauch von Italien spüren lassen. 👍🏽👍🏽

Die Bedienung war unfassbar unfreundlich und hat uns beim Betreten erst mal unangenehm gemustert. Haben dann ewig auf die Speisekarte gewartet, während er sich herrlich lachend mit seinen, offenbar Stammgästen, unterhielt. Was mich aber am meisten schockiert hat- ich habe ausdrücklich ein kleines Getränk bestellt und bekam dann ein großes Getränk auf den Tisch geknallt. Bei meiner Rückfrage kam nur die patzige Antwort “klein haben wir nicht mehr” und wer hätte das gedacht- am Ende wurde mir ein großes Getränk abgerechnet- das Gleiche bei meiner Begleitung :’) Bin immer noch unfassbar wütend über so freches Verhalten und ärgere mich, dass ich da nicht vor Ort nochmal was gesagt habe …

Wir kommen seit 3 Jahren immer 1x in den Herbstferien hier her.. Jedes Jahr werden wir wiedererkannt. Das Essen ist wie bei „Nonno“ zuhause. Typisch italienisch und authentisch. Von außen sieht es so unscheinbar aus aber wir können es mit gutem Gewissen weiterempfehlen und kommen auf jedenfall wieder. Fühlen uns hier einfach wohl.

Erst sollte das Restaurant an diesem tag nicht öffnen, obwohl neue öffnungszeiten ausgehängt waren. Erst sollte es noch keine Pizza geben, dann aber doch... Ich glaube der Ofen war auch nicht heiß genug. Der Geschmack war gut, aber nicht ganz fertig gebacken.

Seehr empfehlenswert! Mich hat das Ambiente an ein Restaurant irgendwo in einem ganz kleinen Dorf in Italien erinnert!

It's tough to find a decent take-out pizza in Freiburg. By that standard this place is pretty good and probably the best in the city at this price.

Sehr sympathisches Personal und dadurch einfach auch eine tolle Atmosphäre. 😚 Wir haben unterschiedliche Gerichte gegessen und alle waren sehr lecker. Preis- Leistung ist top. Mir hat am besten die Vorspeise geschmeckt. Diese italienische Antipasti ist ein Geheimtip. 👍👍👍

Sehr gemütlich, schnelles Essen, super Personal und echte italienische Küche!!

Wir waren mit insgesamt 6 Personen in der Pizzeria essen. Wir hatten 5mal Pizza und 1mal Nudeln. Die Pizzen und auch die Nudeln, waren super lecker. Der Pizzateig war echt lecker und die Pizzen riesig, eine absolute Empfehlung wenn man dort ist. Auch die Preise waren für Stadtverhältnisse echt günstig. Preisleistung wirklich top.

Sehr zu Empfehlen, wir waren mit 6 Personen dort wir mussten nicht auf ein Platz warten, essen und trinken kam auch sehr schnell. Die Gerichte Bruscetta und Salat zur Vorspeise war sehr liebevoll angerichtet und alles was frisch. Die Nudelgerichte waren auch sehr gut angerichtet und frisch, Pizza war auch sehr gut und alles hat satt gemacht und Portionen waren definitiv zufriedenstellend Top weiter so

Pizza ganz okay. Der Service ist dermaßen unfreundlich, dass ein Stern noch zuviel ist.

Excellent Italian restaurant offering a wide range of traditional Italian dishes. Probably the best pizzas in the city and really good pasta al dente. Very friendly and very professional service.

So, we were looking for a good pizza place since we moved to Freiburg about 8 months ago. It is amazing how bad the pizza tastes in Freiburg. We had take out from Taormina today and really enjoyed the food! I like pizza again. Thank you!

Essen top - Service naja. Eine Pizzeria mit tollen und abwechslungsreichen Gerichten. Wäre definitiv meine Lieblings-Pizzeria, wenn nicht der Service wäre... Wirt leider jedes Mal schlecht gelaunt und kurz angebunden. Die Bestellung eines Warmgetränks wird leider belächelt und der Platz wird hauptsächlich nach Praktikabilität vergeben (obwohl viele wunderschöne & ruhigere Tische frei wären). Wirklich schade, denn das Essen schmeckt super und die Pizzaria ist schön ruhig (keine laute Musik o.ä.).

Super unfreundliche Bedienung, mittelmäßiges Essen und Trinken. Mein Aperol war halb Aperol halb Wasser.

Das Essen dort habe ich als sensationell gut empfunden. Vom Essen aus betrachtet gehe ich dort auf jeden Fall wieder hin.

Wir haben eine Empfehlung für diesen Italiener bekommen und was soll man sagen.. WOW! Von außen total unscheinbar, aber von innen groß und gemütlich. Der Besitzer ist absolut freundlich. Eine Freundin und ich hatten einen sehr schönen Mädelsabend, wir haben uns einfach überraschen lassen mit dem Essen und Wein. Es war alles sehr sehr lecker! Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und kommen wieder. Wer zu einem wirklich guten Italiener will ist hier an der richtigen Adresse!!

Die Lage der Taormina ist 30 m vom Schwabentor entfernt Von außen sehr unscheinbar. Wir waren erst um 13:30 Uhr im Restaurant. Leider war es leer. Wir haben höflich gefragt, ob wir trotz daß um 14:00 Küche geschloßen wird und ab 14:30 Uhr Mittagspause(geschloßen) ist noch etwas zu essen bekommen. "Ja, selbstverständlich", hatte der Kellner geantwortet. Bei dem heutigen Personalmangel ist dies nicht verständlich. Wir haben sehr gut gegeßen. Super Pizza. Und großzügiger Beilagensalat. Wir wurden freundlich bedient. Als wir gegen 14:15 Uhr gingen waren noch 3 Tische mit 3-5 Gästen ebenso freundlich bedient worden. Preisleistung gut. Das Ambiente ist typisch klassisch italienisch. Wir kommen gerne wieder. Herzlichen Dank nochmal.

Absoluter Geheimtipp! Wer in Freiburg einen guten Italiener sucht ist hier genau richtig! Von außen sehr unscheinbar von innen sehr einladend und modern. Der Service ist so wie man ihn sich vorstellt in einem Restaurant das Essen war absolut klasse. Es gibt nichts zu bemängeln einfach nur top! Immer gerne wieder
