Wonderful broths, especially the vegetarian ones.

The food was great, a bit busy at lunchtime but we felt comfortable. Gladly again 👍

Smiling and friendly Japanese staff! We had 3 bowls of spicy ramen (including 2 vegetarian), a truly divine treat! We have never had such good ramen before. Very accessible even for French people, we highly recommend.

Food was delicious! Service ok. Less space with many visitors. The selection seemed to be larger online than on site. We'd love to come back.

If you want traditionally prepared ramen, there is no way around this restaurant. The atmosphere is European, but the food, prices and portions are absolutely right. The taste is intense, you have the feeling of being in a ramen restaurant in Tokyo again.

Atmosphere almost like in Japan. Very friendly and fast service. Crowded today - but we still waited less than 10 minutes for a table inside. Reservation is not possible. The food was ok, but the quantity and price had no relation. In the case of the rice dish, the rice was rather bland and sometimes still hard at the core. I've eaten better than that. The soups are OK, but they also have a more European feel. I'm still undecided whether the ramen is noodles or soft-boiled spaghetti :)

Very tasty ramen. The extra pork belly is super delicious. Perfect meal on slightly cooler days. It's best not to wear anything white to eat... If it's full, you need a little patience when ordering and paying. But eating is quick.

The ramen was good but you'd expect a larger portion for 15€.

I'm a bit conflicted. The ambience and service were good. I found the ramen to be semi-good because the broth tasted too much like ready-made, grainy broth for me. I always had the typical aftertaste of broth for the rest of the day.

Every time we have scheduled in Freiburg we ussually eat here. Food is delicious. Especially Ramen. Servers are friendly.

Extremely fine frame bowls! I had spicy chicken and another time I had miso with chicken. Both were excellent. The ambience is very atmospheric and there is traditional food. I'm from Switzerland but I'd love to come back😌

A great place for Ramen, lovely service and great food.

Great little ramen shop. They do not accept reservations and the place can get quite busy so you'll likely need a bit of patience. The menu is simple but everyone should be able to find something. They have some authentic Japanese drinks and beers and a few other options. The ramen soup is delicious, I had tonkotsu and the broth was nice and creamy and the pork belly tender. Definitely worth a visit!

The food was very tasty. We can only warmly recommend the Ramen Bar.

The frames were very tasty. However, the portion was not enough that day. If you are really hungry you should order an extra portion of noodles or rice. Otherwise perfect, nice staff, good atmosphere and fast service.

First time visiting Freiburg and an urge for soup took me to Umami. Amazing ramen ,quick service and very kind all of them.

The food was fresh and delicious, very essential and flavorful. I‘m going to try some other dishes, for sure. 👍🏻

Sehr gutes Ramen Restaurant. Ich kann die Gyoza sowie das Tantanmen sehr empfehlen.

The ramen soup is nice. However the ramen is actually pasta which is a bit hard to chew. Not real ramen.

Super leckeres Essen. Man findet eigentlich immer recht schnell einen Platz. Die Service sind freundlich und auf das Essen muss man nicht lange warten. Sehr zu empfehlen :D

Otwarcie tej malej acz przytulnej knajpki we Freiburgu bardzo mnie ucieszylo a fakt, ze ramen okazal sie naprawde porzadny jak na europejskie warunki, jeszcze bardziej :-) Polecam zasmakowac!

Sehr gute Tonkotsu-Ramen mit kräftiger Brühe. Auch die Hähnchenstücke mit der Mayonnaise sind sehr empfehlenswert!

Sehr stimmiges und leckeres ramen Restaurant . Tonkotsu ramen war soooo lecker 😋 😋. Das Kimchi ist eines der besten die ich je gegessen habe . Die yuzu Limonade kann ich sehr empfehlen . Wir hatten auch ein leckeres kar rage . 👌👌👌👌👌

Außerordentlich gut, es gibt die vegane Alternative, Udon statt Ramen zu nehmen. Das Personal war extrem freundlich und zuvorkommend.

Wir waren schön öfters hier. Sehr lecker. Nudeln sind top und Brühen auch. Der Service ist sehr schnell und freundlich!

I always have the miso broth as I really like miso :) I cannot really compare it to many ramen places, as the only other time I've been to a ramen place was in Melbourne. No comparison to a Japanese ramen place. But I love Asian flavors and I enjoy coming to Ramen 8. I find the portions are really good size. The Wakame salad is really tasty. The matcha ice cream is also pretty good. Prices are as expected for a good tasting food in Freiburg.

Kleine Bar/Restaurant mit einfacher aber stilvoller Einrichtung (eher für einen kurzen Aufenthalt und nicht ein langes Dinner). Ramen mit verschiedenen Brühen gegessen, hat wunderbar geschmeckt. Der Service war äusserst freundlich und schnell. Das japanische Bier hat gemundet. Immer wieder gerne!

Fantastisch. Schmeckt authentisch. Vielfältige Aromen, große Portionen. In einem sehr reduzierten unaufdringlichen Setting. Empfehlenswert !

The ramen was really tasty, a bit too salty for my mom but still a really nice taste, the meat and egg was really good too. The workers are nice and helpful, they helped us understand the menu and made some suggestions.

Bisher habe ich jede Suppe gekostet und kann sagen, dass alle sehr gut geschmeckt haben. Für mich persönlich könnte es mehrere und vielfältigere Einlagen geben, es wird nach dem dritten mal etwas langweilig. Das Fleisch ist immer super lecker! Die Bedienung ist sehr freundlich. Toiletten sind sauber. Jedoch finde ich es ein bisschen überteuert, aber trotzdem einen Besuch wert!

Ayant fait un voyage cet été au Japon et goûté de nombreux ramen, je peux dire que ce petit restaurant simple et convivial m'a fait plaisir. Les trois différentes soupes étaient très goûteuses et riches en viandes. Le service était très bien avec le sourire et des explications des cinq différents ramen. Bref, je le recommande.

Sehr zu empfehlen ist der Wakame-Salat mit Sesamsoße. Die Eier in der Suppe waren perfekt gekocht - wachsweich.

After a succession of places that were either full or closed this proved an ideal spot to eat outside on a hot evening. Good but not outstanding ramen and a very nice seaweed salad with a surprisingly mild wasabi sauce . The waitress being Japanese, I could understand her Getman and she mine.

Waren jetzt 2 mal dort und immer hat alles geschmeckt! Der Service ist super freundlich! Einen Punkt Abzug weil man (bis jetzt) nur bar zahlen kann.

Die Dumplings, auf der Karte „Gyoza“, sind wirklich gut. Dafür, dass das Hauptkonzept aus Ramen besteht, sind diese schlichtweg nicht gut. Ich habe schon deutlich bessere Ramen in japanischen Sushi-Restaurants gegessen. Schade. Der Seetang und Büchsenmais (?!?) machen die Hühner- bzw. Schweinebrühe nahezu ungenießbar. Der Seetang bringt einen penetranten, fischigen Geschmack in die Suppe und der Mais ist generell fehl am Platz. Preislich völlig in Ordnung, (ca. 50€ mit zwei Vorspeisen + Hauptgerichte und zwei Getränken) leider hat es unseren Geschmack überhaupt nicht getroffen.

Die Atmosphäre drinnen wie draußen ist ganz nett. Die Bedienung war freundlich und schnell. Leider kann das Essen nicht überzeugen. Der Geschmack der Suppe war komplett verwürzt. Auch war die Suppeneinlage etwas spärlich (drei Stücke Tofu), so dass ich nicht satt wurde. Preis/ Leistung stimmt hier leider nicht. Es gibt bessere Ramen in Freiburg - für weniger Geld.

They have realy good Ramen in different variations. the restaurant has an modern ambiente, i like it!
