The cleanliness leaves much to be desired. Bad smells.

The toilet smells unpleasant, the decor looks worn and outdated, and the menu, besides fries with various sauces, only offers a salad that clearly doesn't taste fresh. The mozzarella and tomatoes are tasteless, the carrots dried out. And they're supposed to charge 11 euros for this disgusting mess?

Nice, clean rest area. The restrooms were clean. It's a bit dated. The Burger King is small but good, the staff were super friendly and the service was quick.

All the employees I met here were incredibly friendly. Sure, some renovations are needed, but the staff makes you overlook that.

The restroom smelled bad, and the cashier at the restaurant was rude. It's a shame they chose the wrong staff; any good and useful work can be ruined. The shower was already closed and out of order at 6:30 PM. The two stars are because everything was done to a high standard.

Stopped there by chance for the third time. A nice place to let the dog go. Clean Serways restrooms. Friendly staff in the cafe. Chic 70s style.

This rest stop is also pleasant as far as it goes. The toilets are good and sanitation-friendly. Being able to choose between Burger King and the in-house burgers is also great. I usually get a schnitzel box with fries and a variety of options. It tastes better than Burger King.

We wanted to charge at the electric charging station and eat something at the restaurant while we were there. Unfortunately, the charging bays at the only charging station were blocked by combustion engine vehicles, so we couldn't charge there. Now we're continuing on to the Dammer Berge rest area.

It gets dirtier every time, I don't know why, but one thing is certain: it's not the truck drivers.

It's absolutely not open 24/7, and such misleading information is unacceptable. It's probably open until 10:00 PM, but the shower is unavailable from 9:00 PM. As with any such establishment, there's no information on the door about opening hours; one employee would be enough to handle all other services except food. But no one works because social media is more tempting. Pathetic 👎👎

Totally run down. Nothing modernized. Poorly managed. Keep driving!!!

A nostalgic experience, back to the 80s

The rest stop itself is in a good location. But today I was disappointed: there were only two types of sandwiches: cheese or cheese/salami on a chunky roll. They don't sell daily newspapers or newspapers in general anymore, only at the gas station. So I went back and bought them there. The selection of rolls at the gas station kiosk was also more extensive. The staff at the rest stop were friendly, and the coffee was good. I'll try other rest stops on this route soon, though.

A little run-down. The paint is already peeling from the ceiling in the dining area. The staff was quite nice.

You get something to eat and can use the restroom. Don't expect luxury. The property doesn't look well-maintained (inside or out).

Yes, it's the end of the holidays, and yes, there were three long traffic jams beforehand. But HELLO! Even with such a huge rest stop with everything, there are FAR TOO FEW LADIES' RESTROOMS! The line stretched the entire length of the restaurant, and mind you, there were only women in the line, as men could walk through! I'll definitely never stop here again, it just can't be right! They want to stand out as the ultimate rest stop, and then they don't even have enough restrooms.

Overall, the rest area is in poor condition. It feels like nothing has been renovated since the 1980s, and the outdoor area is partly dirty. However, the staff is friendly, and the small playground is okay. Tank & Rast, what's going on with your rest areas?

It's sad how Tank und Rast is letting this rest stop rot. It smells like a lost place. At least the food is decent.

We went to Burger King. It was small and quite dated. The line was very long.

There's no elevator, so Grandma had to stay outside in her wheelchair. And the food is terrible, fast food. All the trash cans in the parking lot were overflowing.

Average. Restrooms clean. Food options as usual, and the locally packed sandwiches were tasty.

Filling up and taking a short break is a good place to do that. The building housing the rest stop is older and doesn't look very inviting. I can't say what it looks like inside.

There's plenty of space before noon. I only used the shower located in the restaurant. No lines and clean.

We ate here at McDonald's. It didn't taste good at all. The fries were too salty, and the patties on the burger were very small.

The rest stop and its Ford dealer aren't open 24/7. Everything is closed at midnight except for the gas station. Entire parking lots are full, but no other service is available, and then they're lying about being open 24/7.

I've been stopping here for a break for years, and when I'm hungry and craving fast food, I always choose Burger King. Today, there were a lot of customers and a huge rush because the Bacon Whopper was missing bacon, and the regular Whopper was a bit runny, but the fries are top-notch. Regardless, I recommend it. The showers are always clean, and the service is very polite and friendly. The truck parking lot is usually packed after 5 p.m., though sometimes a miracle happens.

Unfortunately it is not possible to give zero stars, it is fair to charge for the shower, but if you arrive tired after 9:00 pm, you will come across a grumpy old man who mutters in German that it was closed. All I hoped was to be able to sleep peacefully, that the owner could teach that person respect and empathy. The truck driver is always treated like a dog

dirty, run-down, poor quality food at outrageous prices

In the restaurant part the Goulash soup was not warm and much too salty. Service was very slow and certainly not enthusiastic. There was only 1 person who served as a cook. I also ordered a Mexican snack, but that was a hodgepodge and did not resemble the presentation in the slightest and no effort was made for that either.

The parking lot has seen life. The road surface is in poor condition. It gets clogged even during the day, probably because there is a Penny store nearby.

Neither the chili cheese fries nor the milkshake were part of the menu... never again. And then today, Friday evening, we're driving back to Osnabrück from Hamburg, wanting to give it another try, but again, nothing!!! We were kicked out of Burger King at 9:48 PM because they're closing now.... It says online 24/7..... But really, never again.

When you enter, there are no signs or directions indicating where to go or any brand logos visible. As I went upstairs, I was greeted by a wooden table and an old, empty dining area—it felt like an abandoned restaurant! 😶‍🌫️ I thought I had come to the wrong place. However, as I walked further in with some hesitation, I finally saw a restaurant and Burger King. I got my coffee and left. I think it would be helpful to place a sign or directional arrow at the entrance to show where everything is 🤨

It would be the ideal setting for a crime thriller set in the 1980s. The tenants inside are not to blame for the condition of this neglected and outdated building. It hasn't been renovated in at least 20 years. You get the feeling that the waiters at the two snack bars are quietly suffering with the 1980s fixtures and fittings. They make the best of it, for example, by finishing the fried potatoes fresh in the pan instead of taking them out of the warming pan. You don't see that very often these days. The pay restrooms are newer and usable. That's the main thing. I'd give the rest of the place two stars rather than three.

Very good, but unfortunately, there's no breakfast available. Ready-made sandwiches, packaged, aren't breakfast. But fries with schnitzel are available freshly prepared at 10:30 a.m.

On the way home we took a moment to rest, eat something and relax again

In any case, always happy. From a distance the building looked a bit forbidding, abandoned and gray. The first thing we saw was the loving care of the beds in front of the house. Forget-me-nots were being cast there. I felt a bit beamed back to my childhood. I liked the climbing frame under the 1970s pavilion and seating and play areas that were also authentically retro. But the best... Delicious food and super friendly people who work there. Thanks for the carrying assistance.

Different restaurants and the service is good.

The whole rest area stinks despite or because of it? sanifair. The paper dispenser is empty. The trash cans outside are completely overflowing and everything is lying there. Employees tried hard, too few staff. It doesn't work at all! Keep going!

The toilet was underground even though it is a sanifair toilet. Paying money for that was a shame. The food was ok.

What can you say? Rip-offs from all sides. Cola 0.5 costs 2.99, a pack of chewing gum costs 6.99 and a small Red Bull costs 4.99. So if you want to plunge into personal bankruptcy, I recommend stopping at this rest stop with your family.

A highway rest stop where the restaurant and also the Burher King close the kitchen at 8 p.m.???? In my opinion, an absolute disgrace.
