Wonderful free wedding ceremony in the garden of the Lopshof. I really enjoyed working here as a freelance speaker and singer. Great, uncomplicated coordination with the service team and schnapps with the boss, the couple and the witnesses included 😉

A very tasty breakfast buffet with delicious, homemade salads, smoked eel, salmon, trout and many other delicacies, including sparkling wine, coffee, tea and orange juice. And all of this in such a great location like the Lopshof.

A place to be pampered, relax and enjoy. Guest room not too big. Fascinating creations, attractively presented. (The menu with a discount is a great idea.) A successful evening with friends.

Wow...we had an unforgettable evening here at the Lopshof. Starting with the warm and incredibly warm welcome from the hostess, the food in the star range and the unforgettable ambience. Were there yesterday for the tapas buffet. Ambiance and service very nice. The tapas were always very good when you got them warm. We wouldn't have expected wonton and chili con carne with the announcement of a selection from Portugal, Spain and Italy. Serving as a buffet has the disadvantage that some things get cold quickly, so next time we would only order tapas as a table dish if possible. We still found the price to be reasonable.

We were there on May 31, 2024 with 7 people and it was great. A wonderful, cozy atmosphere. The food was a dream, from the starter to the dessert, a delight. Very nicely prepared, imaginatively served. The service was friendly, relaxed and everything was always there. From the starter to the dessert, everything came at the right time, not too quickly, not too long. We were there at 7 p.m. and it was so cozy that it was almost 11 p.m. afterward😎 I came across it through “my local, your local” and there were 48 points, we all got 50 points. I got Whattsapp yesterday and it was really great. Really really great restaurant. We'll definitely be back.

Zugegeben, wir waren noch nicht dort, sondern suchten bislang nur nach einer geeigneten Location auf unserer Reise durch Norddeutschland, wobei wir auf dieses Restaurant stießen. Nach der Lektüre dieser Kritiken jedoch, verfasst von Sparbrötchen und Menschen, denen offenbar jegliches Verständnis für ambitionierte Gastronomie und Gespür für angemessenes Auftreten fehlt, steht für eines fest: dieses schöne Lokal möchten wir sehr gerne kennenlernen und werden dann auch sicherlich mehr als einen Kaffee in Sportklamotten verkonsumieren. Selbstverständlich gibt’s dann auch eine Erlebniskritik. Bis dahin wünschen wir allen Ausflüglern viel Erfolg auf der Suche nach einer schönen Apfelschorle.

We had a birthday dinner for three persons. It was excellent. So was the dessert. The ambiente on the terrace is wonderful.

Unfortunately our visit here was very disappointing. The drinks took far too long and the food also took a long time. Unfortunately, when it finally arrived, the soup was only lukewarm and my salad was missing some ingredients. The asparagus was also dry and the beef fillet was a bit tiny. The owner was very nice, but unfortunately that couldn't make up for the many shortcomings.

The restaurant and café is beautifully located, but unfortunately absolutely not recommended. We've been sitting for over an hour waiting for a blackcurrant spritzer, a cappuccino and a piece of cake. Also all other guests in Garden have been waiting for drinks for ages. Unfortunately, the staff is completely overwhelmed and it makes no sense to spontaneously sit down to drink a coffee, especially since not all the tables are occupied and guests have already left because of the waiting time. The cake was also average at best. In total you pay just under 13 euros for a blackcurrant spritzer, cappuccino and a piece of cake. A very nicely located restaurant that probably won't be around for too long. A pity.

Can't rate the Lopshof as a restaurant because we drove to this place while passing through. Was there 50 years ago when it was still a school camp. The restaurant management gave me a tour, very appealing atmosphere.

I gave my parents a voucher for the restaurant because I was very satisfied with my first two visits. In autumn 2023 they registered to eat game. However, when she did that day, this did not take place. The alternative food was not well received, as people were of course also looking forward to eating wild game. If you cancel an event, the people who book it should also be informed. Two weeks ago we were on a bike ride at the weekend and wanted to take a spontaneous break. Even though many tables were free, they were turned away. I don't know of any restaurant that can't accommodate walk-in customers if they don't arrive during peak hours.

Great service, great food, super friendly. I came by on a random day, unfortunately on a day when the restaurant was closed because they were filming there. Unfortunately, it took a very long time to refill the buffet and the drinks that were included. Refills were only made upon request - popular items such as fresh fruit, pancakes or waffles were unfortunately immediately empty after they were refilled. The shop was very busy, the service was very attentive, but for €25 per person for breakfast I expected a little more. Also when choosing the dishes. Fresh vegetables would have been great.

Hello, I have worked in various restaurants myself and at least co-wrote textbooks for gastronomy. I mean, I know my stuff :-) What's on offer here is first class and there's always room for improvement here and there. I can't see much of that here. We ate here very well and inexpensively. The meat was on point; we liked the ambience. The service can easily have reserves and you can tell that there are no trained restaurant experts at work here: always take something with you before you go to the back, maintain eye contact with the guests and see if there are any further wishes, would be my advice. But today is not like 30 years ago, where you could choose your staff. The boss knows what's going on. Keep it up! Kind regards Andreas Klöhn

I wanted to surprise my girlfriend with something special for her birthday. A meal at the Lopshof. We were warmly welcomed and shown to the table we had reserved. The food, the service, everything was perfect. We will be back.

I enjoyed the best saddle of venison ever, with a fabulous Tuscan red wine! Top service, extremely friendly, attractively priced. Will be one of my regular restaurants. Highly recommended!!!

Beautiful nice day. I would like to briefly comment on our visit to your house. The five of us became aware of this through the media. And we accepted the slightly longer route to get to them. Very tastefully decorated. Unfortunately, the disappointment was there after just 10 minutes. We weren't offered anything to drink for a while. But then we get the menus. Even then, still nothing to drink. It took a little longer and we were able to place the order. We immediately ordered our drinks and our food. Now there was nothing special about the drinks and we waited a long time for them. What you discovered at that time was that guests arrived and were served immediately. They were probably regulars. Oh yes, drinks have now arrived. After an hour, 2 starters and soup were served. Excellent. The five of us might have wanted to drink some more, but the service was poor. What I have to say is that if you want to play in the first league, the game starts with reception, service, kitchen, etc. Now after 100 minutes our main course was served. As I said, we were 5 people. The main course was served individually. You can pretty much imagine how long it took until the fifth person was served their food. Unfortunately it took too long and so the 4 people started eating. A pity. I'll shorten it a bit. Everything got even better. After we had finished eating and had nothing left to drink, the room was cleared away. Great but only half. Because guests came and were immediately treated to champagne and a cooler. So we decided to leave immediately. We wanted to pay but there were problems paying with a card. We made one decision correctly and didn't choose a menu because we might have had to go with it. In short, poor service. Food ok, prices too high for what you get. All the best for the future.

Wir waren heute zum zweiten Mal im Lops Hof - der erste Besuch hat uns so gut gefallen, dass wir auch der Famile das gute Essen und die schöne Atmosphäre "zeigen" wollten. Sprich: sehr leckere Gerichte, die erstklassig angerichtet wurden, unglaublich sympathisches Personal, das durchgehend sehr aufmerksam ist. Für fünf Personen, je drei Gänge, Weinbegleitung, Wasser, Aperitif und Espresso unter 400€ ist für einen schönen Abend auf diesem Niveau mehr als fair.

Delicious Easter dinner! We just need to have enough time, but we do!

Intrigued by a TV report (My Local, Your Local), we booked a table for four people in the Lopshof. After an extensive tour of the “Huntepad” in the area, we arrived there first at coffee time. The ambience, coffee, tea and cake were of an appealing quality and were served in a friendly and courteous manner. We then continued our tour and took a short detour. We were back there just in time for the reserved time and entered the elegant yet cozy restaurant area. As dog owners, we were very impressed by a quiet table in the peripheral area and the friendly, charming and guest-oriented nature of the boss Katja Radvan did the rest. You felt very well received. I had shrimp cream soup with a hint of tomato, fennel and Pernod, refined with fresh herbs as a starter: excellent! Strong, delicate and extremely tasty, it made you want more. For the main course I chose 'Saltimbocca à la Lopshof'. (Pork medallions with Serrano ham, in Spanish sauce with Brussels sprouts and chestnut puree). The meat and vegetables were on point and very tasty with the sauce. The puree had a fine, slightly nutty note. Interesting, but not the star on the plate. All in all, very appealing and tasty. For dessert there was chocolate biscuit “Français”. A sweet temptation on a mirror of salted caramel and, surprising to the palate, mint ice cream on a bed of Ras el Hanout crumble. Very nicely prepared and a crowning conclusion to a delicious menu just below star level. Unfortunately, due to personnel problems, there were repeated delays during the meal, which were openly addressed by Ms. Radvan at the end and were made up for with a round of delicious eggnog from our own production and a coffee specialty at the end. Carlos' brief visit to our table was also very nice. Chef and magician of all pleasures. A great talent and an absolute diamond in the rough. You don't often find something like this in a country inn. The slightly longer journey is worth it for us. We left with a positive feeling and have already booked a new table when we visit Berlin soon.

Dear Lopshof team, We had dinner with four people on a Sunday lunchtime and were able to enjoy a first-class meal! It was beautifully presented and we enjoyed all three courses excellently! A big compliment to the entire kitchen! Unfortunately, we have to deduct a small star from the service, but that is excusable, after all, no master has fallen from heaven and the service staff have tried very hard! The Lopshof was a very popular excursion destination for my family and me for many years. Then unfortunately the closure came. Now it has awakened in new splendor. Today we were there for breakfast. It was wonderful. A buffet with a large selection of delicacies. Anyone who didn't find what they were looking for must have very unusual tastes. Great ambience. Great service. This evening the four of us had a three-course meal at the Lopshof. On the occasion of my wife's birthday...without an announcement in the restaurant...as we entered the restaurant, the owner Katja casually asked if it was someone's birthday...which we said yes...at the end of the evening After we were served the great starters and the extremely tasty main courses, for dessert (also super tasty) there was a tray with a Happy Birthday and a little cake on it, served personally by the chef Carlos... with the song Happy Birthday in the background... what for a successful Geeste...we've never experienced anything like that...the service was also really great...all in all a successful evening...and while paying we also had a great conversation with Katja about the program My Local, Your Local...just great...we'll definitely be coming gladly again…

Update: We were invited to the Lopshof for a birthday breakfast on Sunday, were there with 13 people and, as always, we were not disappointed. I already reported on the selection and quality in the previous review. Since Ms. Radvan took over the restaurant, we have been there several times: For breakfast, fish buffet, St. Martin's goose meal, tapas buffet, ... and we are always very satisfied in terms of taste, quality, service and price-performance. Keep it up! Previous review: I was there for breakfast today and can neither confirm the rating of "Napoli Carbonara" nor of "Botanicmann 2000" regarding the breakfast buffet. Price-performance ratio is definitely right here! Great selection, there were six of us there and everyone was happy with the selection and quantity. I don't know what you could get for €21.50 per person. should still offer. But maybe "Napoli Carbonara" and "Botanicmann 2000" otherwise eat caviar and oysters for breakfast, accompanied by champagne🤷 There is a relaxed atmosphere, you don't sit as tightly packed as is unfortunately often the case today. There is no time frame given as to when you have to go again. The service is professional and keeps an overview. If something is missing, it will be added. And there are rolls and bread from the bakery, NOT cheap baked rolls.

We had a tasting menu and we rate the food, service and ambience 12 out of 10 points. Keep it up. You are great.

Ein besonderes Highlight war für uns, dass wir den Koch persönlich haben kennen lernen dürfen, da er nach getaner Arbeit von Tisch zu Tisch ging und sich Lob und Tadel stellte. Wo gibt es so etwas? Liebes Team vom Lopshof, wir waren mit Freunden am letzten Wochenende zum Kaffee trinken bei Ihnen. Wir wurden äusserst freundlich empfangen und haben einen der letzten Tische bekommen. Das Restaurant war voll besetzt. Trotzdem haben wir unsere Bestellung, Rhabarber- Baiser und Cappuccino relativ zügig erhalten. Der Kuchen war vom Blech und sehr lecker. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder.

So our experience on site was completely different than what all the hype about the TV show would have you believe. It was a long time ago, but it absolutely corresponds to the rating of "I don't" given 2 days ago. We had 2 salads that didn't deserve the name, at an unreasonably high price. At the next table there were also complications with mushrooms instead of chanterelles, although they weren't even on the menu. The staff was nice, but seemed helpless, you could also say unprofessional. The boss herself was not there. - Actually it's all a shame; because we would like to have a tapas buffet or something similar. took part. But unfortunately not according to our experience, which we personally told the boss. The atmosphere - we sat outside - was actually very nice, especially the location, but the tables were dirty; It seemed a bit unkempt, including the garden.

We celebrated a big birthday there. The breakfast buffet was awesome. Well presented, peppered with lots of unusual, delicious dishes. The staff was super nice and accommodating. The ambience is simply beautiful. A real sweetheart. We can only recommend the restaurant - simply excellent.

Starting from the friendly personal greeting from the boss, who also accompanied us to the table, to the beautiful ambience, to the friendly, competent and reserved service, everything was perfect. As a starter we had tuna tataki, followed by saddle of venison. The starter was very tasty and beautifully presented. The saddle of venison was fried to perfection, very tender and also very good in combination with fresh vegetables and mashed sweet potatoes. The dessert also impressed us. We'd love to come back and wish the Lopshof team all the best!

Price-performance ratio tends to zero. A lot of price for very little to no performance. There was no service at all. Prices are very excessive. Buffet is counted, everyone gets their food counted, something like that doesn't work at all. I don't know why Lopshof won on Kabel 1's show. To my regret, I have to give it one star, unfortunately it's not deserved.

I absolutely cannot understand these positive reviews. When we arrived at 4 p.m., all of the dishes from the coffee table from 2 p.m. were still on the tables. Cake buffet? 2 dry cakes, a little cream and coffee 🤔 I imagine something different from a buffet, especially for this horrendous price. Absolute impudence. The dinner was just bad. Soggy fries, no vegetables with the meat and everything counted out. Should also be buffet. Drinks were neither asked for nor cleared away. For this outrageous price (109 euros for 2 cups of coffee, 2 schnitzels and a cola) I expect something completely different and, above all, significantly better service. Apparently people always asked and we guests would have refused. Outright lie!!! We left almost 1000 euros behind. 1000!!!!!!!!! impudence. Even one star is too many. I am absolutely angry and horrified and winning the well-known show is a mystery to me. No matter, never, ever again and that is also the opinion of all the other people who were there during this disaster. Nice atmosphere, but that's all.

I will only give 1 star for the following reasons: We were at the Lopshof today and had a family reunion. Sitting together and chatting again. So the guest room was very good and comfortable. The only thing that wasn't so pleasant was that the light flickered a lot. About the food: we once had cake and a schnitzel buffet. In addition to the "schnitzel buffet" the schnitzels were counted and not everyone had one on their plate. Then the decision was made and then the service person comes and counts the number of people at a buffet. Schnitzels weren't warm, fries were wobbly, hunter's sauce was like water, some croquettes didn't taste delicious like fish. Schnitzels were made in the deep fryer. The boss admitted in the complaint that it doesn't work. For the cake buffet, 3 trays of cake were very dry and the cheese cake probably had lemon juice leaking out and it didn't taste good. Regarding the service, nothing was cleared away or asked if you wanted something to drink, whether everything was ok, etc. Coffee was lukewarm in the pot, you had to take care of it yourself, that's not possible. We were registered with 43 people. And the price per person was changed 3 times or set high because not everyone out of 43 was there and something like that doesn't work. Nowadays you should be happy when such large groups still come. Had to go to the cake buffet and the schnitzel buffet per person, so the prices almost knocked me out of my shoes. Now of course I know how you can have golden taps. Unfortunately I can't recommend it any further.

I am very disappointed with the Lopshof. Went there for coffee/dinner, we would have expected much more for the money. We definitely won't be back. It's a shame that I have to give 1 star now, it's not deserved.

So now I would like to share my experiences that we had there some time ago. I'm definitely willing to pay money for good things, the price wasn't the problem at all. The problem was what you got in return. We were actually promised more after we saw the card. One of the things that was a shame was the service; in the end we did it ourselves and got our drinks from the counter. Yes, it can definitely happen that when the house is full, not everything runs smoothly, but I haven't experienced that yet. Unfortunately, the staff wasn't always friendly towards us and seemed rather annoyed with us (we were a larger group). The only person was the manager of the house who tried to do everything well, but there is simply more to it. It wasn't the case that we just came in there, no, we had booked months before. You just have to plan it better. We liked the toilets, they were clean and the ladies even had hygiene items that you could use. The garden is also perfect for children to play in.

We were there for the first time yesterday. We made reservations there until the cable 1 came out and were really looking forward to it after the show. But unfortunately in vain. On the positive side: ........ there were enough chairs and plates available. On the negative side: Cake buffet: what do you imagine under the cake buffet? Sheet cakes, cream/yoghurt pieces, perhaps especially because children were given a few "particles to hand". What was it really mushy plum cake, a cheesecake dipped in lemon and rhubarb meringue cake. You have to try to get coffee and water yourself because the staff probably had other things to do or just didn't feel like it. And not even enough of it for everyone. But p.P. 23.50 euros required. The table was not cleared until we asked. Then for dinner: the same question: what do you imagine a schnitzel buffet to be like? Chicken and pork schnitzel with paprika sauce (gypsy sauce) and champion sauce (hunter sauce). Of course, fries, croquettes, fried potatoes and whatever vegetables are a must, be it beans with bacon or cauliflower, broccoli with hollandaise sauce and a salad. What was it in reality: Cold, mushy pork schnitzels from the deep fryer (admittedly) far too few. Soggy fries with Zewa (kitchen roll) underneath, then croquettes that sometimes tasted like fish, apparently everything flies into the deep fryer. And individual ingredients for a salad (cucumber, tomatoes and peppers and colorful lettuce leaves). Mayonnaise and HOT curry ketchup (no description) were also there. As mentioned above, there were many small children there. For this the p.P. 27 euros Definitely not recommended. We told the manager of the house when we paid. Then it just happened that it couldn't be possible. I'll give you a cappuccino then. Oh yes, that makes it better not to admit the mistakes and then waive a cappuccino if the property is worth over 100 euros. So I definitely advise against this restaurant. We were even threatened with calling a lawyer if we didn't take down our reviews immediately. Doesn't work at all.

I was so looking forward to the day, but found the cake buffet sad. Only sheet cakes 🙁 and the coffee dishes were on the tables until dinner. Was very disappointed.

Wir hatten eine wunderschöne Geburtstagsfeier im Lopshof. Das Ambiente ist einfach toll, das Frühstücksbuffet wunderbar gespickt mit ausgefallenen köstlichen Speisen. Der Service war hervorragend. Alle waren sehr aufmerksam und nett. Rundum können wir dieses Restaurant nur weiterempfehlen. Ein echtes Schätzchen.

Wir hatten einen wirklich sehr schönen Abend im Lopshof. Wir wurden sehr freundlich empfangen und haben uns im sehr stilvollem Ambiente rundum wohl gefühlt. Das Essen war wirklich großartig und abwechslungsreich, nicht nur Schnitzel und Pommes, sondern ein 4-Gang Dinner vom Feinsten. Gerne wieder!

Wir haben eine Fahrradtour nach Dötlingen gemacht und wollten im Lopshof eine Kaffeepause machen. Es war 13 Uhr und uns wurde gesagt, da noch das Mittagsgeschäft laufe, können wir keinen Kaffee bekommen. Jetzt überlegen wir, ob die Kaffeemaschine nicht läuft wenn der Herd an ist?? Aber im Ernst, das ist schlechter als schlechter Service

Gestern waren wir zum ersten Mal dort und waren begeistert! 😍 Ein Lokal, das wunderschön in der Natur gelegen ist - und im Innenbereich eine gelungene Mischung aus Eleganz und Rustikalität präsentiert. 🌳🌲⚘️ Als Vorspeise haben wir uns den gebeizten Lachs mit in Nori-Algen eingelegten roten Zwiebeln, Senfsamen und Orangengelee geteilt (14,90) - der Fisch hatte durch das Beizen eine tolle Konsistenz, und die begleitenden Gelees und Perlen haben uns überrascht und begeistert! 🐟 Im Hauptgang hatte ich mich für Rehrücken aus hiesiger Jagd mit Süßkartoffelpüree, Schalottenconfit, gegrillten Kürbischips und in Butter glasiertem Babygemüse, serviert mit Portweinreduktion (34,90) entschieden. Ein Genuss...⭐️ Überrascht war ich von der Räucherglosche, die am Tisch präsentiert wurde ohne angekündigt gewesen zu sein - ich empfand es als einen zusätzlichen Überraschungseffekt, aber ob das jeder unangekündigt so mag? 🤷🏻‍♀️ Die angekündigten Kürbischips fanden nicht statt 🤔 Das Fleisch war medium-rare, sogar fast noch etwas weniger gegart - ich mag es zum Glück genau so! ⭐️ Mein Mann hatte den Heilbutt in Noisette-Butter mit dreierlei Blumenkohltexturen, Salicornes und frittierter Polenta (29,80) gewählt und war ebenfalls sehr zufrieden. Die Portionsgrößen waren sehr angenehm - überraschenderweise habe ich keine Reste auf dem Teller gelassen (wer mich kennt, weiß dass das sehr außergewöhnlich ist)... trotzdem war es auch für meinen Mann nicht zu wenig ⭐️ Wir haben uns dann sogar noch Nachtisch bestellt: 🍋Zitrus-Käse-Fusion auf Ras el Hanout-Crumble, mit Minz-Sorbet und Zitruskaviar (9,90) und Carlos‘ Schokoladentraum: 🍩 Eine Sinfonie aus dunkler Schokolade und weißer Jus, Himbeeren und Zitronensorbet (11,00) Eine schöne, außergewöhnliche Nascherei zum Abschluss. Insgesamt ein tolles Essen in einem wunderschönen Ambiente. Die etwas höher angesetzten Preise sind in unseren Augen durchaus gerechtfertigt - wir kommen wieder! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Ach ja - Hunde sind nicht nur willkommen, sie werden sogar mit einem Wassernapf im Eingangsbereich begrüßt! 🤗🐕

Went there for coffee. The cake was fresh and good. Well you can't go wrong with coffee 😅 it was hot and had the right quality. The service was attentive and not intrusive. It was nice !

In mid-February I celebrated my birthday with a total of 15 people at a Sunday brunch in the Lopshof. We had our own room, right next to the buffet. Everything was lovingly laid out - we were served drinks very attentively - the atmosphere was completely relaxed. The buffet was perfect. My guests and I were able to indulge in delicious, freshly prepared dishes. Not mass-produced, lovingly put together. The really beautifully designed interiors - right down to the magnificent toilet area - made the enjoyment perfect. Many thanks to Ms. Radvan and her team. I was able to enjoy my birthday party relaxed and happy.

Good quality of food and drinks at the breakfast buffet. Attentive and nice staff. Nice ambience. The very long queue for the buffet was a bit of a disadvantage. Here you should think about a second buffet table or make it accessible from two sides. But we will definitely come back.

The food came after over an hour, then not at the same time but at 15 minute intervals. Game dishes taste like ready-made food. The waitress starts to argue when you describe this to her when asked. Expensive and lousy.

Heimisches Wild, super lecker und sehr zart. Tolles, uriges Ambiente. Guter, passender Wein. Netter Service. Wir kommen gerne wieder, werden auf jeden Fall auch das Tapasbuffett testen. Schön, dass es noch so eine Gastronomie gibt! Nachtrag: Die Sauce war der Burner! Hingehen! Unbedingt

Wir sind auf Empfehlung mit sehr hohen Erwartungen zum Mittagessen (12:30 Uhr) gekommen. Empfangen wurden wir sehr freundlich und unser Tisch war auch passend, leider etwas vollgekrümelt und nicht gewischt. Die Bestellung wurde recht schnell aufgenommen und die Getränke zeitig gebracht. Allerdings kam das Bier ohne Krone bei uns an, da dies schon auf dem Tresen stand, während noch andere Getränke zubereitet wurden. Als Gruß aus der Küche gab es Brot mit Guacamole, die leider keinen Geschmack hatte. Dann kam das Hauptgericht für 2 Personen, während die Teller für Brot und Co. noch vor uns standen. Da mussten wir dann beim Abräumen helfen. Von 4 Personen haben 2 Personen ihr Essen bekommen und mussten einige Zeit warten, bis die anderen beiden ihr Essen auch bekamen. Bei einem Tisch für 4 wäre es schön, wenn alle gleichzeitig ihr Essen bekommen (zumal das Lokal nicht sehr gefüllt war und auch bei vollem Haus sind 4 Gerichte gleichzeitig durchaus machbar). Leider wurden wir beim Essen sehr enttäuscht. Der Wolfsbarsch war von beiden Seiten so durchgebraten, dass er komplett trocken war. Das Erbsenpürree war komplett versalzen und kaum genießbar, die Falafel matschig und wirkten roh. Das Schnitzel war so dünn geklopft, dass dieses nach dem Braten komplett trocken und zäh war und eher einer Platte glich, als einem saftigen Schnitzel. Die Kalbsbäckchen waren gut und haben geschmeckt, das Hühnchenragout war zwar kein wirkliches Hühnchenragout, hat aber auch geschmeckt. Der eigentliche Hauptakteur Hühnchen war nur leider ebenfalls sehr trocken und auch hier war deutlich zu viel Salz im Spiel. 4 kleine Hühnchenstücke machen leider kein Ragout. Das größte Ärgernis kam aber beim Bezahlen. Wir hatten einen Gutschein und wollten diesen einlösen. Vom Bescheidgeben bis zum Bezahlen brauchte es mehrere Nachfragen von unserer Seite und bestimmt 40 Minuten, bis wir endlich abkassiert wurden. 3 Mitarbeiter waren dafür nötig. Wir haben mehrfach nach einer Rechnung gefragt, die wir vorab sehen wollten. Diese haben wir erst bei der Abrechnung und nach Abzug des Gutscheins bekommen. Dann haben wir auf unser Wechselgeld gewartet, weil die scheinbar einzige Kollegin mit Portemonnaie unterwegs war. Das hat auch nochmal 15 Minuten gedauert. Dann wusste die Kollegin nicht, wie viel Wechselgeld wir bekommen. Wir hätten uns einfach irgendeinen Betrag ausdenken können und hätten diesen erhalten. Alles in allem (auch durch die Beobachtung der Nachbartische - wir hatten leider sehr viel Zeit zum Beobachten) ein sehr chaotischer Service und eine einigermaßen akzeptable Küche. Gäste haben den Kaffee weit nach dem Kuchen bekommen und auf freundliches Nachfragen kam ein "Ja, ist in Arbeit" in einem eher patzigen Ton. Für den Preis und mit dem Image, mit dem der Lopshof wirbt, leider eine echte Enttäuschung. Hier muss im Service unbedingt etwas passieren, vor allem, wenn man Finedining erwartet. Schade, bei so einer schönen Kulisse. Wir kommen leider nicht wieder.

Hatten am 1. Weihnachtstag das Mittags- Buffet für 46.50 € pro Person gebucht. Wir hatten große Erwartungen. Leider wurde diese nicht ansatzweise erfüllt. Die Speisen war geschmacklos, trocken und kalt! Das kulinarische blieb auf der Strecke. Und das bei einem gehobenen Anspruch der Küche. Ambiente und Bedienung gut!

Wer einen besonderen "Ort" sucht um in schöner, gemütlicher Atmosphäre, mit besonders freundlichem Personal , einen besonderen Abend oder Brunch zu verbringen.....Der ist hier genau richtig .

Das Wildbüffet ist nicht zu empfehlen, absolut mangelhaft. Wir waren am 16. Dezember im Lopshof. Zusammenfassend: Preis/Leistung: unterirdisch. In 20 Jahren nicht so schlecht gegessen wie hier und das für eine beschämende Preis von 49,- € p/P ohne Getränke ! Mit viel Vorfreude, auf Grund von Bewertungen und die eigenen aussagen laut Homepage wollten wir einen schönen Abend verbringen. Das Personal war nicht besonders aufmerksam, demensprechend lange Wartezeiten bzw. wiederholt nachfragen. Aber viel schlimmer war das Essen. Eine entsetzende Enttäuschung, es hat absolut nicht geschmeckt. Nicht ein Gericht vom Buffet was Punkten konnte. Trocken und geschmacklos. Ich würde in diese Preisklasse und Ambiente empfehlen die Suppe am Tisch zu servieren oder, das ist was Stillvoller. Die andere Buffets und Gerichte à la Carte mögen völlig in Ordnung sein aber wir kommen auf Grund diese Erfahrung auf jedem Fall nicht mehr zurück.
