Tangram in Nürnberg

The "Tangram" is the restaurant of the "Congress Hotel Mercure Nürnberg Messe" and is therefore located within the hotel. I've been to the hotel a few times and have now tried the restaurant for the first time. The staff are friendly and the food and cocktail we ordered were very tasty. I had the “Schäufelepfanne” and a “Tropical Punch”. Definitely again!

Wir planten mit Geschäftsfreunden den Besuch des Christkindlesmarkt in Verbindung mit einer schönen abendlichen Weihnachtsfeier. Dazu bestellten wir ein spezielles Menü mit Ente. Was dann aber aufgeboten wurde war schlichtweg unbeschreiblich! Statt köstlich dampfender Ente bekam jeder ein Stück gekochte Entenbrust mit Nudeln. Fazit: Reinfall des Jahres!

Ein Abendessen hier im Tangram. Resto ist nicht groß und die Karte klein. Macht aber auch Sinn, denn die meisten Gäste essen sicher auswärts (Umgebung hier ist limitiert an Restaurants). Service war schnell und aufmerksam. 2 Burger - alles frisch belegt mit Salat, Tomate, Avocado und Käse. Der Patty hätte etwas weniger durchgebraten sein sollen, aber ansonsten alles sehr gut. Dazu Fritten. Perfekt. Tipp an die Küche bzw. Bedienung - fragen Sie doch einfach vorher den Gast wie der Burger gebraten werden soll. Auf jeden Fall kann man da gut essen wenn man nicht erst noch in die Stadt will.

Unfortunately, the excessive prices do not match the service in the restaurant. The veal schnitzel was tough and the guests next to us also let the schnitzel go back. My salad also had brown edges. However, the salad dressing was delicious. If you stay at the attached Congress Hotel Mercure, you can have breakfast in this restaurant for €19. Breakfast is not recommended for this price. No fresh orange juice, no fresh fruits (only canned fruits), etc. In addition, in our opinion, the tables are too close together, which is very uncomfortable at breakfast (as it was extremely full).

The Tangram Restaurant offers excellent food directly at the Dozendteich. The service is friendly and does a good job. The prices correspond to the quality. A restaurant that you can recommend with a clear conscience. Bon appetit.

Ужинал однажды в этом ресторане. Стейк+салат+картофель фри обошлось в 25 евро. Много это или мало - судить читателям. Сама пища была свежайшая, обслуживание очень качественное

Restaurant des Mercure , draußen sitzen im Grünen, Service etwas stoffelig, je nachdem auf wen man trifft, denn es gibt auch natürlich freundliche Angestellte bist. Spargel mit guter Hollandaise, Entrecote perfekt zubereitet, guter Frankenwein , Preise entsprechend Hotel Restaurant, ganz runde Sache...

War hier als Gast des Hotels. Es gab eine sehr kleine Karte ohne Vorspeisen ( ausgenommen einer Tagessuppe). Der Service sehr freundlich und bemüht und sehr witzig. Das Steak handwerklich sehr gut. Interessant angemacht und perfekt Medium gebraten. Die Maispoularde auf Salat sehr gut. Als Desert gab es Käse. Leider fehlte der Feigensenf. Als schnelles Essen als Gast im Hotel ok.

Light draperies that divide the room give the restaurant an airy atmosphere. The view into a lush park is quite nice. The service was very good. The standard menu was not extensive, but the asparagus season was on and there was an add-on menu of asparagus dishes. In the mornings the restaurant serves breakfast for the hotel Mercure.

Die Karte ist überschaubar & lässt eine schnelle Entscheidung zu. Der Service ist flink & aufmerksam. Der Salat war frisch & schmackhaft, genau richtig nach einem Saunabesuch.

Das Restaurant Tangram vereint landestypische mit internationaler Küche. Die Karte ist angenehm klein. Die Weinkarte ist mit hochwertigen Weinen gut zusammengestellt.

good food, the first dinner was just amazing, and the pasta is very good. Second steak dinner was not a match for the first one ...

Very good service. Simple byt ok menu. Very good salads. I ordered steak but is was too much well done and they change buy meat quality was avarage. Nice wines by glasses. Can't expect more for simple hotel restaurant

Comme chaque année pour un salon à Nuremberg, je recherche un Restaurant, le Restaurant de l'Hôtel Mercure est situé dans une belle salle, personnel assez professionnel ne parlant pas le français. Carte limité et cher par rapport à la qualité, nourriture typiquement allemande salée et aucune saveur. Bref une adresse à oublier. 03.2015

Die Karte ist sehr übersichtlich und bietet neben regionalen Gerichten ein paar Nudelgerichte und diverse Steaks zur Auswahl. Preise liegen im oberen Segment (Rindersteak ab 25 EUR, Nudelgericht ab 12 EUR). Ich hatte Serviettenknödel mit Waldpilzragout zu 17 EUR. Viel Soße, wenig Pilze, geschmacklich mittelmäßig.

The menu has a limited selection, but what we ordered tasted excellent. I had a mixed salad with jumbo scampi, and my colleagues other salads. Prices are of international level and represent the food quality.
