I can recommend the restaurant to everyone. Very large portions and, above all, delicious. I haven't eaten so well in a long time. Greetings to Koch, keep it up, The waitresses were very friendly and helpful, and very attentive. I had my drinks served in a few minutes. There are barbecue evenings but if you wish, you can start the barbecue straight away Yes, what more could you want. And there are parking spaces in the yard for mobile homes with electricity. If you want you can use the toilets as a motorhome owner. There is also a large garden area where you can unwind. And parking spaces for customers in front of the restaurant. I'll be back Oh yes, there are always events with live music or parties that were very fun

We were there with the motorhome and can't complain even though you can hear the planes. Food was plentiful and tasty. Price is okay. Service very friendly. By eating in the restaurant, the parking space was free and only the electricity had to be paid at €5 per day. Were there for the 2nd time and will be back

A new tenant has been on the “Grüne Au” for a few months now A very nice family, very commendable cuisine as well as the fast, friendly staff. It's really like this: go in and feel good. The food is very tasty, the portions are very good, the service is perfect. The guests are always coming up with new events. The Grüne Au quickly becomes a meeting place for nice people. Ordering and picking up is just as possible as having it delivered. Everything was well packaged and really nice and hot. A jewel in brick In summary: Very pleasant atmosphere, nice service, short waiting times for food, nice garden to sit outside, reasonable prices.

Neue Pächter seit Juli2024 wie mir im Gespräch erwähnt wurde. Wir waren alle sehr zufrieden. Es war alles tadellos und sehr lecker. Die neuen Pächter sind sehr bemüht, dass alle Gäste zufrieden sind und fragen auch aktiv nach ob alles in Ordnung ist. Uns haben die Aktionstage angesprochen wie Mittwoch: Schnitzel im Angebot und Sonntag der Schäuferletag für 16,50 € mit Salat. Beides wurde schon probiert und ist sehr empfehlenswert. Als nächstes wollen wir den Freitag testen mit dem SpareRibs All you can Eat :)

Visited when the weather was nice. There were only about 5 colorfully arranged tables, unfortunately we had to wait about 10 minutes for service. Chef's salad with turkey breast was disappointing, just green lettuce, tasteless tomatoes and an egg. Even the side salad with the cordon bleu (which was tasty) was better with carrots and coleslaw. In terms of size, the chef's salad was more of a side salad. I can't recommend it. The dressing according to the menu with mustard, which wasn't available, was also totally over salted. And we have never drunk such a bad Aperol Spritz, too little Aperol, you could only taste what was probably cheap sparkling wine. To top it off there was very loud Ballerman music, absolutely inappropriate. It's a shame about the location.

We had made a reservation for two people. When we arrived and asked the waiter, there was no table available. Instead, we were led into a side room that was completely empty. We sat down at the table near the door, but unfortunately no one came to serve us. In retrospect, I was almost glad about that, because I was constantly hit by an unpleasant smell - possibly from a cleaning product or toilet block. After 20 minutes, we decided to leave. We will not visit this restaurant again.

Yesterday we had dinner in "der Au" for the first time in years, and I have to say that it was a really successful evening! THE NEW TENANTS ARE REALLY A BENEFIT FOR THIS RESTAURANT!!! We were there with 3 families for all-you-can-eat spare ribs. We received a very friendly welcome and the fact that we had two babies with us wasn't a problem at all. On the contrary: our son was personally entertained by the boss at every round and every single one of the ladies was super (child-) friendly. After the meal, the tenants asked personally whether it was tasty and we were given a schnapps on the house, during which we really got into conversation. All in all a nice evening. Good home cooking and very nice. We'd love to come back more often from now on! All the best for the future❤️

Now something that shouldn't have happened has happened - especially since there was no reason - all the guests in the guest room were taken care of - and yet I simply forgot about you. I would like to publicly and formally apologize to you for this. You must have been looking forward to the evening. We were there for the first time and were very positively surprised. The food was very tasty and of all the Scheuffele with sauce was just very good...the atmosphere was very Franconian, we really liked it...so we'll stop by there often. I can only recommend it.

All in all, a generous menu with a wide selection. Nevertheless, we were not convinced about the food. Spaetzle was very watery and not particularly flavorful in terms of cheese, Schäufele had no puffed-up crust and was very light, bread dumplings were overcooked and very soft, the sauerbraten was too hard. We were there once but won't come back again.

After the funeral there were 50 of us, all of us dining in the Grüne Au. Everything was great, the new team was very polite and attentive. We have eaten here many times and have been very satisfied. Super delicious food, unfortunately it was simply taken away from me at an event after I briefly went to the toilet. Too bad, I would have been hungry!

Great restaurant, excellent service and very good food.

It's a shame, the service was trying hard and could barely make ends meet with 50 people. Soup no taste, felt stretched with water. Goose breast tasteless, too light for me personally, mushy and not fully fried. (The leftovers on all the plates that were returned also showed) Dessert is visually a disgrace and there is no need to talk about the taste. But after waiting 50 minutes, the hunger got bigger. It's a shame it used to be a good address.

Were here for a show, It was clear how many people were coming, there was a "3 course menu" The soup was ooookay, lukewarm but ok. The main course was duck breast or Schäuferle. Some had to wait 40 minutes for the food. My wife had a hair in her red cabbage!!!!! It's a shame that a duck had to die for this "dish", what a waste. It was done, nothing with pink core or anything..... the sauce for the Schäuferle and the Emte definitely came from the bag. I guess there should be Mouse for dessert, some people got that too, but apparently the cup was already empty and Aldi was already closed to get more. So the “cook” had to improvise and served a brown puddle instead. It really looked like diarrhea... It could have at least been presented a little more attractively. The service was very attentive and on the ball. Oh yes, the Bachus tasted a little stale. It probably came from a tetra pack.

Condition tried to do the best. Eating well. A registered group of 50 people with pre-ordered food then made 10 remaining people wait 50 minutes - everyone else had already eaten!! Then to give out a dessert like that with chocolate soup on your plate, you'll ruin everything!!

The two of us ate there today. The restaurant is very quaint and homely. We had cheese spaetzle and the pork medallions. The food was very tasty, especially the pork medallions were worth mentioning, they were very tender and tasted great, as did the sauce with them. Absolute recommendation. The service was attentive and friendly.

....if you like rustic Franconian cuisine, you should come here! I had Schäuferle! Very tasty with 2 dumplings and plenty of homemade sauce! Hospitality is very important here! Unfortunately, the Schäuferle was already a bit overcooked on Sunday afternoon! However, the taste was first class! Well balanced with enough salt and a slight hint of caraway. The chefs here know their craft! The homemade sauce is worth highlighting! You can simply taste it! The side salad was also very tasty, although I would have liked some celery alongside the cabbage and carrot salad...I'll definitely be back!

We were traveling through in a motorhome. Parking space is free if you eat there 👍 the waiter Wolfgang explained everything to us nicely. Later we went to dinner / there was a very bad atmosphere among the employees. At the counter, the employees, especially Wolfgang, were treated very badly, so that we felt uncomfortable. The boss didn't seem likeable either and was constantly complaining. Conclusion: food delicious, boss and boss extremely unpleasant. We wouldn't want to work there 😏

I haven't been here for a while, but I'm so disappointed. The whole thing is pretty run down. As always, it was a fair at the Brezenwirt, the staff was impossible. Were sat at a table of 6 before the music started playing. We had been there for almost an hour when suddenly an employee came and reserved our table. We should find a table somewhere else. That is not possible. We were all really mad. When there were almost no guests there, our table was already making a good living. We were good enough then. When the main business started, we were no longer welcome. That was the last time. I definitely won't go there again. What a cheek. You're welcome when there's little going on, but when the main business starts, you should leave straight away. Never again!!!!!

Food is miserable, unfortunately

I've been in the green Au for dozens of years and I've never been disappointed. Never? Yes, unfortunately last weekend, because the waiter who served us, the poor pig, was responsible for around 40 guests alone. There were several servants present, but unfortunately they left the waiter alone. A gentleman stood constantly at the door to the beer garden, but he only shouted at the waiter instead of helping him. But the waiter was really friendly. The food was great. I had spare ribs, they were to die for. I would like the waiter to get more support next time!

Very nice beer garden on a very quiet street, right next to my hotel. Was there very early (5 p.m.). Service was very nice, the food was on point and tasted very good. If I'm ever in the area again, I'll definitely be happy to come back! I can only recommend the rump steak with the fried potatoes :-)

Simple location with heart and good food!

The restaurant was highly recommended to me in advance, which is why I was really looking forward to the visit. Unfortunately I was quite disappointed. I ordered the spare ribs. These tasted okay, but they were extremely tough and almost rubbery in consistency. Unfortunately not recommended at all. The waiter wasn't unfriendly, but not overly friendly either. In fact, he didn't even ask if the food was good. Maybe he just knew what the answer would be. Nevertheless, good service naturally includes asking whether everything went well. The only positive thing to mention is the ambience with the beautiful beer garden. However, I won't be coming back here any time soon. I wavered between 2 and 3 stars for a long time. Since the food was really very weak and the service was mediocre at best, I decided on 2 stars.

Were there today for a family celebration. We ourselves had our two children (1+3) with us. Children's chair was already ready. The little ones' food (dumplings with sauce) was brought to everyone else in advance, after the innkeeper's prior request. The innkeeper even brought her a bib and put it on her, including a set of cutlery for children (knives, forks and spoons). The children also received gummy bears for dessert. Good portions, super nice and child-friendly service! Everything delicious! Absolute recommendation!

I can't rate the food, we only had a large coffee and a Hefeweizen. So €5.20 for a beer and €4.80 for a coffee is completely excessive for this location. I don't understand how the prices are set here. Out there in brick, too. In the Augustiner in Munich you pay €5.00 for a beer. The service goes like this. I would say Franconian rustic.

New prices = new chef = new portions. Cordon Bleu €19.80 which was the same size as the children's menu. Never 👎 even in the city center you eat and drink cheaper.

Tasty food with large portions!

We were there for dinner with several people. The food came relatively quickly. We mostly ordered schnitzel/cordon bleu. In terms of taste it was okay, not a mega high-flyer, but definitely okay; The portions are large - you'll definitely be full here. The service was nice and courteous. The atmosphere in the restaurant is rustic. But: just under €19 for a Cordon Bleu - seriously? 18€ for a schnitzel with fries? Over €5 for a juice spritzer? VAT and Corona are all well and good, but we will no longer take part in this to this extent and will go somewhere else to eat schnitzel in the future.

We were invited there for our birthday. The food was absolutely fine, as you would expect from a well-run Franconian inn. The waiter was a little overwhelmed at times, but was always friendly. This was probably due to the approximately 25 guests in the room. There is a big minus for the pricing. I think the restaurant has very good home-style cuisine, but I find €8.90 for apple fritters really audacious. Conclusion: Good restaurant with good food if you don't care about money.

Essen war wirklich lecker und auch schnell da !! Würde auch wieder hin gehen . Als kleiner Tipp : Vielleicht sollten sich die Chefs da, nicht direkt vor Kunden irgendwelche Filmchen anschauen und das in einer Lautstärke die nicht akzeptabel ist !!!!!

Leider habe ich das Essen nicht fotografiert. Für ein Putenschnitzel und eine weitere Speise plus 2 Softdrinks haben wir hier fast 60€ ausgegeben. Preise sagen mir , "Innenstadt - Tourismusfalle" . Ambiente dagegen spricht eher für altes Sportheim, in die Jahre gekommen und nicht wirklich einladend. Zufällig darauf gekommen und ausprobiert, hat geschmeckt, aber kein Wow Faktor um nochmal Gast zu werden.

Geweldig Wirtshaus. We zochten een plek in Nürnberg waar we 1 nacht met onze camper konden staan. Bij dit Wirtshaus hebben ze 3 plekken met stroom. En als je bij hen een hapje gaat eten mag je er gratis staan. Echt geweldig. Daar komt nog bij dat we er heerlijk hebben gegeten. Zeker een aanrader om terug te komen.

Wir haben mit unseren Womo dort gut genächtigt , mussten nur den Strom bezahlen und hatten im Restaurant einen leckeren Abend, den wir bei 1..2...Getränken schön ausklingen ließen. Am Tag sind wir mit der UBahn nach Nürnberg rein gefahren. Haltestelle nicht weit vom Restaurant. Vorher anrufen für Reservierung ist nicht verkehrt.

Wir waren am 14.10.2023 hier. Sehr netter Empfang. Sehr nette Bedienung. Hat uns Steak mit Pfeffer Rahmsoße empfohlen. War saulecker. Wir haben gleich den Koch für seine Arbeit beglücktwünscht. Wir waren jetzt schon zum 7ten Male hier und können die schlechten Bewertungen nicht verstehen. Wir kommen wieder und werden den Brezenwirt weiterempfehlen.

Nettes Lokal mit regionaler, fränkischer Küche in ruhiger Lage (Wohngebiet ca. 5 Gehminuten bis zur U-Bahn). Das Personal war aufmerksam und freundlich. Das Essen selbst sehr lecker und reichlich. Preise sind den heutigen Zeiten angepasst.

Unterirdisch! Wir fragen nach, ob der Buchenholzgrill im Betrieb wäre, da sehr wenig Gäste anwesend waren, dies wurde bejaht. Deswegen hab ich dann einen Grillteller bestellt und meine Begleitung Spare ribs Meine Bratwürste schmeckten wie aus einer Packung vom Discounter und gar nicht nach gegrillt. Das Fleischstück war hart, trocken und hatte null Geschmack. Eher wie aus der Pfanne als vom Grill. Das Bündle war hauchdünn und naja, essbar. Wir bestellten einen Beilagensalat dazu, da es lediglich ein Roggi als Sättigungsbeilage gab. Der (Blatt-)Salat sah wie alter Convenience-Salat aus der Tüte aus, mit vielen welken Stücken, die ich/wir auch aussortierten. Der Krautsalat wäre klasse - für Zahnlose - null Biss, aber fairerweise muss ich sagen, gut gewürzt. Die Karotte war der Lichtblick darin. Mein Partner hatte Spare ribs…. trockene Dinger, bei denen du mit der toten Sau um die Knochen kämpfen musstest. Von „komplett auf dem Grill zubereitet“ keine Spur. Die gereichte Sauce schmeckte wie aus dem Asialaden. Das Roggi entpuppte sich als staubtrockenes muffig schmeckendes aufgebackenes Roggenbrötchen. Der Knaller war die im Austausch zum Meerrettich bestellte Kräuterbutter. Diese schmeckte weder kräuterig noch nach Butter, eher so, als wäre sie aus (billiger) Margarine hergestellt, wurde im Mund immer mehr und das bei einer schmierigen unangenehmen Konsistenz. Unsere Teller gingen also gut gefüllt zurück, die Bedienung fragte zwar nach, reagierte aber null auf unsere Beschwerden. Aber immerhin haben wir gut gesessen und die Bedienung kannte unser bestelltes Biermischgetränk. Toilette (D) war sauber und Parkplätze gab es auch direkt vor der Türe. Wir gehen viel essen, dieses Restaurant führt ab sofort unsere Rankliste, der „Einmal und Niewieder“ an. So dermaßen schlecht haben wir noch nie gegessen (und das mit null Reaktion seitens der Küche).

Ein seltsames Restaurant. Man versucht vom Auftreten her irgendwie nobel dazustehen, auch die Preise sprechen diese Sprache. Die Räumlichkeiten sagen aber: Wirtshaus. Der verwirrte Gast stellt sich nun die Frage: Was denn nun? Der Service ist bemüht, auch hier scheint man aber nicht ganz sicher zu sein, was man denn eigentlich sein will. Nun zum wichtigsten, den Speisen: Das Essen ist ganz in Ordnung, die Auswahl aber eher beschränkt. Insbesondere die fleischlose Küche muss dort erst noch entdeckt werden. Für die Fleischfresser ist aber auf jeden Fall die erwartete fränkische Küche geboten. Das große Desaster war jedoch der bestellte Espresso: Hübsch angerichtet kam da eine am Boden bedeckte Kaffeetasse mit lauwarmen dünnen Kaffee. So etwas darf sich weder Kaffee noch Espresso nennen.
