Really fun! Super attentive and friendly service. Top ramen at reasonable prices. Mighty portions. Served quickly. Slightly worn furnishings, but extremely clean. Has something! Risk of repetition 100%!

Tight spot, lot of customers, this time table without a queueing. Best ramen, reasonable price, very friendly personnel, explaining everything.

Everything was well seasoned, delicious and we really enjoyed our lunch. If you get a menu with ramen and a side dish, you pay less for the side dish. I recommend the gyoza and the takoyaki. Just note that this Takumi only serves chicken and veggie ramen. For a larger menu, you can go to the other Takumi that's just a few steps down the street. We didn't realize this at first and were a bit disappointed about the limited options but our food was very good and arrived quickly and the service was friendly so it didn't matter. I would come again.

Absolutely worst experience ever: It should be mentioned in advance that we eat at Takumi regularly, but always go to Takumi 1st or 2nd and it always tasted great and there were absolutely never any problems. I ate at Takumi 6th for the first time with my girlfriend on March 23, 2025 at around 6 p.m. Service and ambience is Takumi-like and top I would say. I had karaage miso ramen and my friend had teriyaki chicken with rice. And when I was eating I had a strange feeling that it didn't taste the way I was used to. We usually always share the food so that everyone can try everything. This will become important. Immediately an hour after eating, we had an unpleasant feeling of fullness in our stomachs and then we started having stomach pains, diarrhea and vomiting. I had actually never experienced anything like this that was so bad. This went on all night long, then at some point I had chills and a fever. I wanted to call the ambulance at times, it was that bad. My friend's condition wasn't as bad, but her symptoms lasted longer. We had most likely gotten food poisoning. Looking back, I can't say what, since we shared the food. Unfortunately, the work there was unhygienic somewhere. If something deserves 1 star, it's probably something like this. Edit: I subsequently changed it to 3 stars because Takumi credibly explained to me that they were sorry and wanted to investigate what might have gone wrong. Since I like the food here and there have never been any problems, I'll accept this as an unfortunate isolated incident.

It was the most delicious and cool experience in this ramen shop, I’ve never tried anything like this to be honest. The broth is very unusual and it’s definitely worth trying at least once. For spicy lovers, you can choose a really spicy Ramen here)) ♥️ but there are also options without any spice at all 🙂‍↔️ a special thank you from me for the delicious kaarage, they won my heart

Went here with friends and got a relatively tight corner. I'm relatively small so I didn't have any space problems but who did. If you're over 180 it gets a bit uncomfortable. The atmosphere has a very Asian touch. My colleagues and I all got the TanTan Ramen. In terms of taste, the consistency of the soup was too creamy for me but still very runny. I ordered spicy but I think they could have added a little more spiciness. Overall TOP.

I had the Veggie Miso Red Tantan-Men with Ramen Egg and was very satisfied! When the first spoonful puts a smile on your face, that's always a good sign. :)

A few months ago we tried Tantanmen Ramen here for the first time and unfortunately we were disappointed. There were four of us in the store and we all ordered a different variety, but none of them were really convincing. All the soups had a very bitter aftertaste and none of us wanted to finish the soup. I actually thought that Tantanmen just wasn't for me since the store was doing really well. However, I decided to try this ramen again somewhere else and I think it's really great! I have no idea if there was something wrong with the ingredients or the preparation, but unfortunately it's tasty differently :/ However, the service was really friendly.

I would like to recommend you the cold Tantanman and the cold Karaage, as well as the dumplings.

I had a very tasty ramen for lunch today. The special thing was that I was able to choose a side dish from the daily menu and choose the spiciness wheel myself, which was very accommodating for me, who is not allowed to eat spicy food. Great ramen big portions and a big advantage is that you don’t need to wait in line for so long

Although, there is almost a waiting time for atleast 20 minutes, but it worth every second to wait for one of the best Ramen places in town. I have been there twice and every time I would like to already plan for the next time I want to visit this place. The options are limited here, but every single dish I have tried here is exceptionally rich I taste. I would highly recommend this place if you would like to try authentic Ramen. I have tried Red and White Tan Tan crispy chicken ramen with extra spice and gyozas, and my personal favorite is still Red Tan Tan Ramen with extra spice.

The food was not what I was expecting from the simple way it’s presented to the lack of options (only chicken) and the lackluster sides like the takoyaki or guess what more fried chicken this place has left me with a bad taste in my mouth. Although the base of the Ramen gives what it offers from spicy tangy and the white one sweet and nutty the rest of the ingredients leave much to desire point my strong recommendation is that you avoid this place and try any of the many other options that this magnificent Street offers you

Despite the slightly longer wait (approx. 30 minutes on a Thursday), it was worth it. We got very tasty ramen, even though my order was taken incorrectly at first. Here it was no problem to complain to the court. The service was smooth and friendly! Price/performance fair. It's worth it!

We had two entrees in the lunch special (teriyaki chicken and gyoza) and two ramen. Unfortunately, both starters were cold or lukewarm and therefore did not taste good. The starters came very quickly, which surprised us. So it could be that they were already prepared and not freshly prepared. That would be worrying. The ramen, on the other hand, was very tasty. Service was excellent and quick.

Once you have fought your way through the queue, you will receive friendly service in the restaurant and be rewarded with good, authentic Japanese food.

The soups tasted good, but unfortunately the broths were lukewarm and the toppings (vegetables) were cold. But what really put me off: the staff is standing in the kitchen with their cell phones in one hand, while the other hand is distributing the deposits on the soups. I ate some of the best veggie ramen here. The mushroom broth is awesome. Plus tempura + warm egg. Not exactly cheap, but worth every euro!

To say it's exceptional is an understatement, I've already come to eat ramen 🍜 at their place 4 times now. It's a fixed stop every time I pass through Dusseldorf, I don't leave unless I stop to eat a proper ramen. I tried to eat at other places in the same chain but they don't reach their level at all. Super recommended and super happy to be able to have those little moments that take me back to Japan. I recommend everyone to stop by and try their ramen 🍜🍜🍜

I've never eaten anything like this before and was very impressed. You can take almost all dishes as a half portion, the quantity fits the price very well and the food came very quickly. Highly recommended!

Came to this restaurant at about 4 p.m. and seated without queueing. I ordered karaage and red tantanmen and wasn't disappointed. Food was served within 5 minutes. The noodles were well-prepared, and the broth was warm and comforting. I'd take away my extra kaarage as evening snack and I was still very good. I'm glad to dine here as my first stop in Dusseldorf.

Simply great ramen and the other dishes are also very tasty. What should be noted is that you really have to like spicy.

It has been on the “Must Visit” list for a long time, and it lived up to my expectations! Ramen portions are absolutely huge! If you can’t finish eating, there is an option to take everything with you for 1€. ❗ Also for your first visit, upon registration you receive free gyoza 🥟 of your choice (chicken/vegetables)❗❗❗ Of the minuses, of course, the queue is quite large, usually 15-25 people, however, this is undoubtedly the best visit to a Japanese establishment in recent times!

This is a restaurant I go to every week, but lately the ramen has become more and more salty.

The ramen is unfortunately overpriced, but authentic and very tasty. What is absolutely not possible, however, is the very - by Japanese standards - absolutely catastrophic service. When the guest asked whether he could order a taxi for him, the boss simply replied with a “no”. In Japan, such a service could mean closing the store straight away. Apparently people at Takumi are very "full" and let the guests feel this too. We therefore advise against a visit.

There is a bit of a wait, but the taste is good and the service is fast. Satisfaction is high, so you can replace the empty bowl (add dandanmyeon egg + noodles)

Small Japanese restaurant in a street along many similar ones, un the vincinity of Düsseldorf Hauptbahnhof / mainstation. Was full. Got a big noodle spicy soup with meat and vegetables plus rice. Good. Fiar prices around 15€.

The most delicious ramen I have ever eaten in Düsseldorf.

I now find it really cheeky how the prices have been raised here. At the end of the day it's a noodle soup. The ramen is designed in such a way that you have to pay extra for every little thing. Even for a higher level of spiciness, which in my opinion isn't worth it since the ramen doesn't noticeably increase in spiciness (why do you have to pay an extra €1 for a little more spicy paste/oil? The restaurant advertises that it offers spicy ramen ?) The restaurant offers neither exceptional service nor a great ambience. You go out to eat for two and pay €70 or more for two ramen, an appetizer and two drinks. Inflation or not, but here the customer is being milked properly. I'd rather go somewhere else in the future. Edit: I think it's good that the topic of price inflation is also addressed here by other users. I think it's a shame that transport from Japan in containers is used as a justification for the pricing policy. Ultimately, there are more and more Takumi stores. More mass transported = lower costs per product. So the price should actually stay the same or only increase marginally. I also noticed that the portions have become smaller.

The food was great! The miso soup was tasty, although a bit greasy, but still very well made. The fried chicken (karage) and squid are also worth trying!

There were 6 of us in the restaurant, unfortunately one of us has a strong fish/seafood allergy. When asked whether this could be taken into account during preparation, this was answered in the negative. However, it was also forbidden for the allergy sufferer to get something to eat elsewhere. Accordingly, I don't recommend the restaurant, although the food was quite good.

The food is very good. You should choose White tantan men if you want less salty.

The food was incredibly delicious. Luckily we were there at 12 p.m. and didn't have to wait. While we were still eating, a long queue formed outside, and that was on a Thursday. But we'll be back.

Don't expect anything fancy or complicated here. Takumi is eating noodles and that is what all the emphasis is on. The menu is as simple as it is overview: you choose from one of the two soups that form the further basis. Then you choose from one of the standard ingredient sets. E.g. chicken with vegetables or full vegetarian. If desired, you can add extra toppings and finally determine the level of spiciness. The food itself is fine, there is usually a wait for a table, but the turnaround speed is high. In terms of food, I miss a beef version. If you order soft drinks, you drink straight from the bottle. You come here for the food and a quick bite. It is not a pleasant place and although the service is friendly, they make no effort to interact: ordering, drinks, eating, paying and back out onto the street.

I tried the basic ramen and half portion of the chicken karaage. It was a fantastic combi! Im so full from the food that we ate, the service is fast and the atmosphere is so calmly nice. Be there before the dinner service commences because it can be a full-house by 7in the evening. Will definitely try other dishes in the coming days!❤️❤️❤️

I poppy by to return a vytal reusable bowl that I had borrowed at another restaurant to safe packaging. The staff clearly did not use vytal a lot so they didn’t know what to do but one employee called his boss and then accepted my bowl. Many places who don’t immediately know about vytal don’t go out of their way to accommodate you, so while it should be a given, I do appreciate it highly. I feel like the store wanted to kill me. These noodles were my DAMAGE. The soup was good, chicken well, and the noodles...THE NOODLES! They were TERRIBLE. From the consistency, the taste, and after this dish I had the biggest headache, coupled with vomiting and diarrhea. You won't believe me, I thought I was dying. I would have paid €17 for my early exit. And why do I have to pay a whole €2 more for half an egg💀 The edamame for €5 were quite ok. Whatever the reason they are so expensive. I wanted to take these home with me (paid €1 extra for a small ToGo box). I didn't manage the pasta. Maybe I was the unlucky one who got the bad noodles, but that something like that can even happen...! The store is also extremely loud because it is so small. But we didn't have to wait in line for long. (1 p.m., Saturdays)

Authentic Japanese Tantanmen! Super friendly, attentive staff, simple explanations of the dishes and incredibly delicious food. As a rule, you should expect a waiting time of 10-20 minutes due to the high number of people, but it's definitely worth it! As a drink, I recommend the yuzu lemonade (Yuzuka or Yuniq). The portions are really big, beautifully prepared, more than filling and a treat for the palate. If you want to take your food with you, this is possible for a small surcharge of €2-3. Gyoza (veggie, spicy or with chicken filling) or the classic Takoyaki (octopus balls) are always good starters. In the store you also have the opportunity to purchase T-shirts from the Takumi chain or cup noodles to take home.

Very friendly staff and actually a good shop but the quality and quantity of ramen has unfortunately noticeably decreased in recent years. Very unfortunate.

Teriyaki chicken was not spicy, gyoza spicy also werent very spicy. It was great service! Fast and nice! If u like this sort of food it is recommended.

The Takumi Tan Tan Men offers many variations of Tan Tan Men. There is a Red Tan Tan Men with miso as a soup base and a White Tan Tan Men with a creamy mushroom broth as a base. There are various toppings for this. We also had gyoza, takoyaki and yakitori and Kirin draft beer. The food was delicious and the service was very attentive. I'd love to come back 🍜

Chicken bites were still frozen inside and were totally cold. Gave them back to the Server, Said the‘re cold and a would Like to have new, Fresh and hot ones. He came back with the chicken bites I already had, they just put it in the microwave. They didn‘t Even replaced the piece I already tried. Whaaaaat?

Food was delicious, good ramen soup, great service but a bit too spicy for my taste and the music wasn't that suitable.

I have to say last year the selection was bigger and it tasted better too. The staff is friendly but also rushed/annoyed…. We now know the difference to the ramen restaurant around the corner and I have to say I prefer that to this one. There is only miso ramen, I like ramen but I didn't like the miso. The teriyaki was ok but the portion seems a bit smaller compared to last year. The fact that you often have to wait a long time until you get a seat is mmmm... they also had tables outside, but not all of the tables inside or outside were occupied. On the contrary, the chairs were upside down on the tables... Unfortunately, I have to say that the rating has turned negative compared to last year...

Ate outside. The line went away relatively quickly and you didn't really have to wait long. The food was really tasty and pleasant with the normal spiciness and if you want more you can of course order it. Gyoza were very very tasty!
