Unfortunately, we were seated in a corner and received only sporadic service. A waiter came by every now and then. We didn't feel welcome at all. The prices are too high for that. I expect good service and a pleasant atmosphere, not to be stuck in a corner.

Traveling with family, we visited ArabesQ for the first time yesterday. Let me say this upfront: We will definitely be back. These few lines hardly do justice to the experience. A lovingly decorated ambiance, like something out of 1001 Nights. Once you sit down, you won't want to get up. We felt completely at ease. Everyone found something they liked on the menu... not always easy with two teenage children. Aren and his team were always attentive. The food was absolutely delicious on all our plates (!) and the 15 appetizer dishes (ordered for two) were quickly emptied. Now we're looking at the calendar and planning our next meal... at ArabesQ.

Very limited selection, the plates are small, and the lamb portion is unfortunately not very generous, meaning you have to fill up on the rather bland and unappetizing chicken. Rice, potatoes, and vegetables, on the other hand, were plentiful. Poor value for money. The dessert also failed to impress me.

A really lovely restaurant with a truly pleasant atmosphere and delicious food. The service deserves special mention: Aren, our waiter, was extremely friendly, attentive, and did a fantastic job – especially his recommendations for the food. You really feel welcome. We'll definitely be back!

The staff is friendly and the oriental ambiance is very appealing. The food selection is rather small – I would have liked a bit more sophistication. We had the meze as a starter. Even though other reviews say it's supposed to be the culinary highlight, we expected significantly more flavor for €37. The grilled chicken on vegetable rice was unfortunately quite bland, with hardly any vegetables to be seen. The menus could use an update, as they already look a bit worn. I also found it somewhat unprofessional that you have to ask at reception for a free table, and then the staff has to run to the back to find out. The restrooms could also use an update.

Staff poured 3 glasses on our guest ruining our whole dinner. Appetizers were pretty tasteless, mains were good. Service extremely slow, always had to get up to find a waiter and we got no excuses for the whole terrible experience

The ambiance is the only truly beautiful thing here. Everything else I would describe as "trying too hard and failing miserably." We were greeted with pleasantly warm, moist towelettes for our hands, but they forgot the tea. The service was mediocre all evening: we constantly had to wait a long time for someone to come to us. We weren't asked if we wanted more drinks, and there was hardly any attention paid to us. The wait times were incredibly long, even though there were only a few guests on that Sunday evening: we arrived at 7:00 p.m., had our appetizers at 7:30 p.m., and our main course (after asking twice) at 8:30 p.m. This is particularly surprising because everyone is always served mezze as an appetizer, which isn't usually prepared "à la minute" in the kitchen. Similarly, the selection for the main course is relatively limited; there's only a choice of two sauces for each dish, and everyone gets the same side dish. It's incomprehensible what takes so much time to prepare. The food itself was also underwhelming: Although the waiter named all the numerous mezze, it was very quick, and afterward, it was difficult to identify everything. Some items were quite similar; for example, the parsley salad was served once with pomegranate seeds and once without. For our main course, we had lamb and köfte. The lamb was excellent, tender, and well-seasoned. Both sauces were bland, as was the vegetable rice. The köfte portion was ridiculously small—just two small skewers, each with two tiny köfte. Unfortunately, there was only one dessert option, which didn't appeal to us. This was a real shame, as Arabic cuisine offers a wide variety of delicious sweets. In the end, we had to wait ages, wander around, and search until someone finally brought us our coats.

Very nice restaurant. Friendly staff. Note that not all dishes are halal. The decor is very Moroccan, but you won't find couscous or tagine on the menu. The menu isn't very extensive, but you can usually find something to suit your taste. The dishes are quite good, but I found them a little bland. A decent place whose strongest point is the decor. I also found the wait for the mezze service a bit long.

We often had to wait a long time, empty plates weren't cleared, and items were served inconveniently. Furthermore, a mistake occurred when the waiter spilled our drink on the table. There was no apology, no quick and thorough cleaning – at least a gesture from the restaurant would have been expected, as our flowers were completely soaked. In addition, the food, whether appetizer, main course, or dessert, was nothing special. I had expected much better, but I really can't agree with all the other positive reviews. Unfortunately, it wasn't a pleasant experience, and I wouldn't return. It's a shame, considering the potential the place definitely has.

I was already familiar with Maqtub at the Media Harbour. Now we wanted to try the large main restaurant in Grafenberg. And: everything was simply perfect. After making a reservation the day before, we received an excellent welcome at reception. The staff offered us warm, moist towels to clean our hands, a coat rack, and greeted us with a delicious complimentary tea. The interior design then amazed us: it truly looks like an oasis from an Aladdin film. From the fountain in the center of the room to the oriental lighting, the setting was captivating. The quality continued with the food: the mosaic of 15 small appetizers revealed a diverse array of flavors and spices from the Orient. The subsequent sesame-coated tuna steak was fascinatingly (positively); different and extraordinary. We chose the perfect restaurant for a cozy evening for two, as ArabesQ is likely one of the most upscale restaurants in Düsseldorf (without being overly expensive).

The appetizers were unfortunately boring!!!!

Small portions, high prices. Poor value for money! Despite the restaurant being empty, the staff didn't seem interested in whether the guests wanted anything else to drink. Next time, I'd choose the pizzeria at Staufenplatz.

We visited the restaurant two weeks ago and everything was okay, but the prices were very overpriced. They have set menus where you have to pay extra for the appetizer. This wasn't clear from the menu.

I am reporting solely on my personal experience at the restaurant. Unfortunately, we encountered several problems during our visit. Although I specifically ordered a dish without nuts, the food was served with nuts twice and had to be replaced each time. Since I have allergies, this was particularly upsetting for me. In addition, one dish was noticeably salty, and the cream/yogurt tasted rancid or over-whipped, resulting in a crumbly texture. Our dessert was also incorrect: one dessert suddenly contained pistachio, even though it wasn't ordered, and my wife received a completely different dessert than ordered. This also had to be replaced. We also had to wait about 30 minutes before we could even order. Despite having made a reservation days in advance, we were given an inconvenient table, even though there were other tables available in the restaurant. This review reflects only my personal impression and individual experience. I hope it helps the restaurant improve such processes in the future.

We went to ArabesQ and were unfortunately a bit disappointed. The service was very slow – we had to wait over half an hour for our drinks, and dessert didn't arrive for more than an hour. The atmosphere was rather unpleasant: loud, warm, and without any noticeable ventilation. Long queues formed at the buffet, and occasionally there was a shortage of cutlery or plates. The food was average – the lamb rice was quite bland, while some of the meats were too spicy. Overall, it wasn't a bad experience, but it wasn't particularly impressive either. For the price, we expected more.

Conclusion: If you’re going to the Sunday buffet, make sure to arrive by 11:00. By 12:00, there’s not a single falafel, tabbouleh, or hummus , avocado cream (?) left — and they don’t restock. We arrived around 12:00 without a reservation and were lucky to find one last seat. Unfortunately, more than half of the appetizers were already gone, so I ended up eating mostly meat dishes and felt like I missed out on the best part. It was quite an expensive brunch considering my small appetite. Drinks were served only at the end, and the buffet line was long. Families with small children seemed to need one parent just to stay in line while the other watched the kids. Although there seemed to be plenty of staff, the service was rather slow, and it felt like customer satisfaction was lacking.

Yesterday, our group of friends and I went to the restaurant for our graduation dinner. The reservation process was seamless, and the staff were exceptionally accommodating. The ambiance, service, and atmosphere were all fantastic. We were completely satisfied; the food was excellent (especially the appetizer), and we felt very comfortable. We will definitely be back.

I heartily recommend that you reserve in advance, because this restaurant was really quite full for a weekday evening. Entering the magnificent hall of this extraordinary restaurant was like being transported into another world, far more exotic and exciting than one could dream of finding in a quiet Dusseldorf suburb! Mohammed, our attentive Persian waiter took excellent care of us, and Fares the Palestinian owner’s son, and Nina the efficient head manager helped me to have one of the most visually and gustatively exciting meals of my life, in one of the most beautiful rooms I have ever encountered, decorated by stunning photographs taken by a family member.

Delicious, upscale, high-quality oriental cuisine. Cozy, warm, and spacious ambiance in a hammam. Occasional thoughtful touches are offered. Perfect for a romantic evening.

You immediately feel welcome and well looked after. The ArabesQ isn't in the budget segment, but the value for money is absolutely spot on. The place has a really nice Arabic ambience with architecture, decoration, and arrangements. The place is huge! The waiting times are quite high, probably because we went as a group. They didn’t have any homemade drinks when we went, which was a bummer. The food is presented very nicely but the portion sizes are small. If we hadn’t got the bread, which were quite good and fresh, meals wouldn’t be enough. (I felt/saw the portion sizes differ even with the same dish for different people.) The taste is also good. The staff is very friendly, yet took a bit of time to attend.

The ambiance was nice, the food was inflexible, and the taste was only okay. You can order set menus, but the starters and desserts are the same everywhere. If you order a la carte, you can only order "mixed starters," which cost €37 per person. Nothing is available individually. If you're lactose intolerant, you can't eat six of them. So you're paying for something you don't even want. Very inflexible... Starters - portions are ultra-mini on the set menu. And then for two people, too 😂 The main course was okay, nothing special. The vegetarian option was a small stuffed pepper... It wouldn't fill you up. Whether vegetarian or meat - it was all the same sauce and vegetable rice. Lactose intolerance could only be accommodated by "omitting" something. A sign that the chef only serves pre-cooked food. The only dessert available was baklava with yogurt. Both contained lactose. So I couldn't eat either. There were no alternatives, such as fruit, but I had to pay the full menu price. Any Lebanese snack bar is better and more flexible than this restaurant.

An incredibly successful evening! We were extremely lucky to even get a table at short notice, as someone had canceled shortly before our call. When we arrived at the restaurant, we received a warm welcome. They gave us a warm towel for our hands, which was very pleasant. Then we were shown to our table. Unfortunately, it was in the middle of the room, right next to the waiters' walkways. The ambiance was great, though; my friend loved the glowing tree, see attached photo. After we drank a complimentary chai, we ordered drinks. The Lillet was the best we've ever had! The wine we ordered was okay, but it could have been freshened up a bit. We received excellent advice when choosing our food. The waiter knew exactly what we wanted. He was a friendly guy, which was confirmed several times over the course of the evening. The appetizers were fantastic! The main course was also very good, but we couldn't get enough of the appetizers. What we really liked was that we were given enough time for the appetizer, as well as extra bread for it. We were able to finish our meal in peace before the main course was served. Dessert was also very tasty. We made some small talk with our server. He told us that things were a bit hectic in the kitchen. He was a very nice guy. We were very full at the end. The price was quite expensive, but really okay for the amazing appetizers we received.

We chose this place for dinner, and as soon as we walked in, I felt like I'd returned to Granada. The interior design is stunning, the staff is kind, and the service is attentive. As for the food, my wife ordered the meze plate for two, and I ordered a meatball-style dish. My dish was delicious, but the portion was small, and neither my wife nor I really enjoyed the meze plate. The variety was good, but the portions were very small, and the salad greens were wilted. It wasn't worth the steep price of 37 euros, to say the least. The meze was disappointing, unfortunately, and I don't recommend it. But overall, it's a nice restaurant for a pleasant dinner. Go for the enjoyment, not the filling.

Everything is just right here! The service, the atmosphere, and the quality of the food. And there were also two delicious main courses for our two vegetarians.

What a disappointment: a forced cat table for dog owners because dogs aren't allowed. Poor service, as you're ignored and served without affection. Complaints aren't taken seriously. Then small drink glasses at high prices. And to top it all off: A wine spritzer of the same size (0.2) costs a whopping €7, just like the white wine (0.2). It's all a bit of a rip-off...

I went there for dinner with my family on July 21st. The reception was great, the place is very chic. One of the best restaurant locations in Düsseldorf. We ordered food around 6 p.m. The food arrived at 8:19 p.m. We waited two hours for it, which was obviously a nightmare for us with a baby. The delayed food really spoiled the mood for the guests. The food was delicious, but as I said, if I ate the starter at 6:15 p.m., then I don't need the main course two hours later; that's way too late. PS: No apology from the staff for the delay, and no discount on the bill (which would be legally possible). Best regards

While the prices are on the higher side, they're completely justified given the outstanding quality. One of the best oriental restaurants in the Düsseldorf area! I'll be back again and again.

The Arabesc not only shines with great service and stunningly beautiful interiors with elaborately painted ceilings that are a real eye-catcher, but the food is still some of the best I've ever had. It's incredible how finely you can compose flavors! Especially for vegan and vegetarian guests, there are truly great and, above all, numerous dishes. Always happy to return and, of course, a definite recommendation. The restaurant is truly a hidden gem and a must-see.

The ambiance is truly beautiful—stylish and inviting. Unfortunately, that's where it ends. The service was practically nonexistent: It took us 30 minutes just to order drinks. The starter (which came before the drinks!) was good, but the vegetarian main course was a real disappointment—a single slice of eggplant with some rice and vegetables for €20?! The value for money here is completely out of the question. Overall, very disappointing and overpriced. I wouldn't recommend it.

And annoying to boot. The staff tries hard, but there are simply too few of them and it's not their fault. Unfortunately, this was already the third time, so we won't be coming back. A lot of things come together here. The food, the ambiance, and the service are all excellent! As a welcome, you're given a warm, damp towel with which you can/should clean your hands. Then you go to the seats in the restaurant, which are simply top-notch. The atmosphere and the food are highly recommended. A great date spot.

We come here every year because it's something special. The ambiance is truly beautiful and oriental. The food isn't cheap, but it tastes delicious and is perfectly prepared. We've been coming here at least once a year for 11 years. I was allowed to bring a birthday cake around noon so we could have a surprise in the evening. Thanks again to lovely Nina and the team for the wonderful evening.

Well converted from a hunting lodge, comfortable and interesting. Service the night I went from the two guys was terrific. Knew the menu, the history had recommendations mezze is a must, varied and not strictly 'arabian' but all delicious and it's filling. So two of us split the kofte on cinnamon stick after. A good decision. I will return.

Lovely Arabic cuisine with delicious mezzes and a beautifully designed interior. The service was warm and attentive, and I really appreciated the thoughtful touch of being welcomed with hot towels to freshen up. Overall, a very pleasant experience. I would personally recommend the lamb shoulder. It was cooked to perfection tender and flavorful. The sauce was something truly special, unlike anything I had tasted before, and clearly a house specialty. If I visit again, I would definitely order the same dish. I’m not an alcohol drinker, but I felt the wine was quite strong someone who enjoys wine would definitely appreciate it more than I did. It was just a try for me… and let’s just say, once was enough..

Food is incredibly good. It's not a huge selection but that's completely ok. Better than too many dishes but poor quality. There is something for everyone. The highlight is the ambience...beautiful restaurant. Service was very friendly. We forgot about each other for a moment, but that can happen.

Definitely one of my favorite restaurants in Düsseldorf. The food is very tasty and beautifully prepared. The service is friendly, attentive and pleasantly relaxed and the ambience is a bit out of the Arabian Nights. Thanks to the team, I'll be happy to come back again and again.

Unfortunately my visit to this restaurant was a very disappointing experience. There were four of us there and despite a complete menu with starter, main course and dessert we didn't get full. The portions were extremely small and disproportionate to the overpriced price. The main course consisted mostly of rice swimming in a red sauce - without any vegetables - and a tiny piece of lamb shoulder that wouldn't have been enough for even a child. To be honest, the dessert was almost ridiculous: a small yogurt cup with two pomegranate seeds, some date syrup and a tiny piece of baklava. Overall the food was disappointing and definitely not worth the money. The service was good, but not enough to compensate for the negative overall impression. I cannot recommend this restaurant and will definitely not be returning. A really bad experience.

We spent our anniversary at ArabesQ and it was a wonderful decision! As soon as we entered we were warmly welcomed, which immediately created a pleasant atmosphere. The food was a real taste experience - from the starters to the main course, everything was perfectly seasoned, fresh and beautifully presented. The various dips in particular were not only served in a visually appealing way, but were also described in detail and with a lot of knowledge by the waiter. The service was outstanding! Our waiter was extremely friendly, attentive and professional. He took the time to walk us through the menu, explain the dishes and ensure we were completely satisfied. The clearing and serving of the food was also carried out with great care, which made the evening even more pleasant. Overall, our visit to ArabesQ was an unforgettable experience - perfect food, great service and a beautiful atmosphere. We are already looking forward to our next visit!

There are hardly times I rate 5 star to a restaurant. One of the classmates from my husband chosen this restaurant to organise ifter come dinner. When I heard about the place, as a foodie and reviewer I instantly went online to look at its rating. It was 4.4. So I was bit skeptical about the food then I thought, it’s all about the people we’re eating in a table with. We went there and I was really surprised to see such a beautiful restaurant. You’ll feel like you’re in an Arab country. They welcomed us with warm towel. We went inside, ordered food. Had long talks while they were serving the food one after another. As I ordered a meal, there was starter, main course and dessert. Even though the food was coming quite late and had to ask for things like 2-3 times then they provided which is completely excusable given the fact they’re understaffed yesterday and we were 20 people! Despite being understaffed they were extremely patient with a smile in their face. Now coming to the food. I loved the starters. Even thought they were the simplest food but everything tasted heavenly! I had beef filet, which I felt a bit lack of salt but it can be fixed. My husband took chicken. That was extremely tasty, tender and perfectly cooked. Then we had our dessert. It was the best baklava I’ve ever tried. They provided us complimentary bread. This was so tasty that we even wanted to order more! I wish more and more people get to know about this restaurant.

The food was very tasty, but the service and atmosphere are not good at all. We waited 20 minutes for the drinks and almost an hour for the main meal. Of course I'm disappointed because we order it from the waiter and we run past them not saying a word how long it will take. In my opinion there is not enough staff on site. In total we spent 3 hours there and 2 hours just waiting for the food, without desserts. The condition was not familiar with the menu. For me even 1 star is too much.

Well, my wife and I really wanted to try the 'braised lamb shoulder.' What can I say... there was a maximum of 80g of stringy lamb on the plate, including a thick layer of fat in my wife's case. Yes, it tastes like lamb, but it's not particularly well seasoned. The portion is far too small for an outrageous €32, and there's no sign of any vegetables. So you get rice swimming in sauce with a hint of lamb. I advise you to stay away from it, as well as the lackluster dessert -> natural yogurt with a dash of date syrup and 5 mini pomegranate seeds + a small piece of baklava. Honestly... rip-offs, con artists, and tricksters.

Food basically good, location great. Service was very helpful, but unfortunately everything took a very long time. We only had our first drink 40 minutes after entering the restaurant. I had to wait half an hour for my empty plate to be cleared away. We weren't asked to order drinks in between, we were only able to drink 2 drinks in 3 hours. It's a shame, probably much better with more staff!

Very authentic and exceptional ambience with excellent cuisine! The starter variations “Mezzas” are recommended. The spacious and beautiful rooms offer plenty of space but also ensure a decent noise level. The service is busy and strives to provide quick service. 1-2 more people on staff could help bring some peace and quiet.

We visited the restaurant on a Saturday for a birthday. The location itself is really beautiful and impressive from the outside and inside. The welcome was warm, you were greeted with warm towels for your hands and shown to the table, which left a very good first impression. Unfortunately, the food didn't convince us. At the beginning we chose the starter for 2 people, which at €38 was definitely too expensive, especially considering the rather simple, not particularly tasty and unfortunately quite poor selection of “bites”. We are otherwise big fans of oriental cuisine and expected much more here. For the main course we decided on the chicken, but here too we were disappointed: the taste was not convincing, the portion was very small and the food was sometimes lukewarm. In addition, the waiting time before we were even allowed to order was very long - both when ordering the drinks and when ordering the food. The serving of the starters and the main course also took a long time, which we found annoying after a while. Overall, the restaurant left us with a rather negative impression because, despite the beautiful location and the friendly welcome, the quality of the food and the service did not meet our expectations. For this reason we probably won't come back.

We had a great evening in the restaurant! Despite a 15 minute delay, we were warmly welcomed and greeted with a warm towel and tea. The staff was super friendly and the food was delicious as always. We'll definitely be back!

The atmosphere feels like stepping into the Arab world—very cozy, ambient, and with a great vibe. The staff is extremely friendly and welcoming. The food tasted amazing! However, I was extremely disappointed by the portions. I ordered the “Lang geschmortes Lammschulterfleisch” for €32,00 and expected a full plate, but instead, I received only a small portion of meat and rice. For the price, I definitely expected more. Unfortunately, I left still feeling hungry 😅 (as you can see in the picture, that was all the rice I got)

As soon as you enter you are greeted by a wonderful oriental atmosphere - stylish decoration and an ambience that invites you to linger. The food is simply outstanding: authentic dishes that are prepared with a lot of love and taste of the highest level. Every dish is a pleasure! Particularly noteworthy is the attentive and incredibly friendly staff. You feel warmly welcome from the first moment. The boss himself is a true host with a heart - friendly, warm and always striving to offer his guests a perfect experience. I can highly recommend the Arabesq Restaurant. If you want to experience a special evening with fantastic food and great hospitality, you should definitely stop by here. Sensational.

The Arabesq has an incredibly engaging ambience. I would even give it 6 stars for that. The service is nice, you get a tea straight away and really feel the hospitality. About the food: We had the Mezza platter with mixed starters - everything was very varied and tasty. Really good starter. For the main course I had the beef fillet with pan-fried vegetables and potato cream. It was generally very tasty, but I have two points of criticism. Firstly, the second piece of fillet was still almost raw (I ordered medium rare) and there was some kind of fat or something similar in it. I didn't expect that for this price range. Secondly, I found the portion (see picture) a bit small. I don't even mean the fillet, but vegetables and potatoes were supposed to be a filling side dish, so I was still hungry at the end of the meal and had to eat something at home. Would I eat there again? Probably yes, but then no beef fillet.

Very nice ambience, pleasant colors and well presented by the lighting. Eating well. Starter okay, main course (beef fillet) was more like two chops than one fillet. Too much sauce on the plate, hard to find side dishes. The service was cold-hearted, it was already being cleared away while others in our group were still eating. Price-performance ratio absolutely wrong!! The prices are completely beyond what would be appropriate for what is offered! Reservation by phone is apparently not possible because it is fully booked. A table could be reserved via the website and the restaurant was empty when we arrived, which didn't really change during our visit. We had the impression that a telephone reservation was undesirable! It was our first and last visit to ArabesQ.

We had a wonderful evening at ArabesQ, if you want to go on an oriental journey, this is the place for you. The food was excellent, the different spices that came together from the starter to the dessert were simply heavenly. Everything was fine. We can highly recommend this restaurant.
