Iraqi food with amazing taste.

We ordered two different takeaway dishes the day before yesterday. The portions were huge. Delicious naan bread was served with them. The service was incredibly friendly. Everyone worked super fast. The prices were very reasonable. We'll definitely order again!

I ordered a mixed platter for one person and asked for an extra skewer of ribs and a skewer of wings to take away. When it came to the bill, I was surprised to find that the extra skewer cost 30 euros, which is the price of two full meals! I asked them, and they said that was the correct calculation, making the total 48 euros. I said, "No problem." But when I got home and opened the platter, I found only the meat skewers, bread, and a little salad. There was no rice, no potatoes, and not even any sauces, even though they charged the price of three meals.

The food was delicious, especially the bread and grilled dishes. The service was friendly and pleasant, and the overall atmosphere was nice. However, I think the prices are a bit high, as the portions weren't particularly large. Overall, a good restaurant with delicious food and friendly staff, but the value for money could be better.

The skewers are grilled over charcoal and are fantastic. Served with rice or fries, salad, bread, and dips, they make for a delicious meal. The service is friendly, and chai is on the house. And be sure to try the fresh ayran. Good value for money.

The food tasted good, but apparently something must have gone wrong. I hope the owner sees this review and changes something about the store.

We paid €40 for a starter (soup), two breads each, dips, grilled skewers with rice and salad, and three drinks – absolutely fair. The service was also friendly, which is why I don't understand some of the reviews here. I highly recommend Erbil Grill.

We arrived a little before 9 pm, unfortunately the kebab was almost finished, only one shish kebab. I ordered wings that didn't come with my drink order, they came a while after the food. Many of the cooked dishes were finished, we had to order only grilled shish kebab and shish tikka. The bread was cold, even the tea was finished. It was not even 10 pm. Their treatment was good, but unfortunately it was the first and last visit to them because many of the dishes were missing and the tea, which is the most important thing to me, was not available.

Today I was at the restaurant, the food was very good, thank you very much, the service and the staff’s treatment were very kind, a secret Kaftan, I hope you open a branch for us in the Netherlands 💛❤️💚

I was truly disappointed with my visit to this restaurant. The glasses the Coke was served in were visibly dirty – that's completely unacceptable and extremely unhygienic. The meat wasn't cooked properly and had an unpleasant, slightly off odor. It was completely inedible for me. The overall impression was unfortunately very negative. I definitely won't be returning and can't recommend the place to anyone.

The guys did their best, but the price was very high. The meal cost 28 euros for one person. I might visit again for the taste, but regarding the price, I'll think twice about coming back.

I'm new to Düsseldorf and happened upon Erbil Grill by chance because we were renovating and were hungry. The menu was very easy to understand, and the prices were very reasonable. The selection of dishes was more kebab-oriented. The portions were very large and very tasty. The skewers were cooked directly on the charcoal grill. You can watch the chefs at work. Service is always very prompt, and after ordering, you immediately receive Arabic bread, freshly baked in a tandoori oven, along with dips and lentil soup. All drinks are non-alcoholic, and they don't serve wheat beer. The atmosphere is okay, but it's always very busy in the evenings. Ideal for families.

We were truly impressed. The portions are very generous and you'll definitely be satisfied. The value for money is absolutely perfect. We would especially like to emphasize the very friendly staff. We immediately felt welcome and well looked after. An all-around successful visit. We would be happy to return.

Brash, overpriced and outrageous in service! Four tiny skewers, a few sad tomato and onion snippets on a load of lettuce - plus a water and a mini black tea - and the whole thing for a whopping 35 euros? This borders on deliberately ripping off customers. The highlight of the experience: employees who obviously don't enjoy their job and who make eye contact with you as if you were bothering them by simply being there. Friendliness? None. Conclusion: If you like to be ripped off and looked at strangely, this is the right place for you. For everyone else: Once is enough – never again!

We had dinner there yesterday Not even 1 minute after we finished eating. Then the waiter came and said you were ready. We now have to clean up our customers before Iftar. We had to leave the restaurant!! Instead of asking, did you want something to drink? If you think of something, they told us you have to get out, that's how you treat your customers. The food in this restaurant is really delicious and tastes convincing. The ambience is quite pleasant, but the cleanliness could be improved a bit - especially in details such as tables or floors. Unfortunately, the service was rather mixed; not unfriendly, but not particularly attentive or quick. More commitment would be nice here. All in all, the restaurant is fine and I would recommend it because of the good food - with the hope that they can improve the service and hygiene.

I ordered a kilo of meat and was surprised that it was half onions. Three kebab skewers and three shaqaf skewers. It is impossible for a kilo to come out. I do not recommend it at all. This is cheating.

Yesterday the three of us had dinner at Erbil Grill. As a starter we ordered a lentil soup for €5. This was very tasty although it was eaten quickly with a maximum of 7 tablespoons. In terms of quantity, very little for the money. Then came the meat skewer and the lamb legs. Delicious in terms of taste. If it weren't for the diarrhea that all three of us had the next day!!! So there could be something wrong with the hygiene or quality of the food! I won't go there myself but will try other restaurants.

Tasty and plentiful, and it's cheap too. During Ramadan it wasn't crowded during the day, which was ideal.

Their food is good, especially the kebab, and everything is grilled to perfection. The service does not take long for the order to arrive, and their service is nice.

It's just blatant how people lie in the comments here. I've been here several times and I can say it's brutal! Authentic in every respect and with dedication to the matter. The toilets and everything in the restaurant are extremely clean.

The fresh saj bread served with the food reminded me of bread Saj paper in Syria. The shop is relatively small, but compared to other restaurants nearby, it is spacious. I am disturbed by the unnervingly repetitive musical melodies. It is not a song, nor is it a series of melodies, but rather repetitive melodies that always repel the soul. The thing that bothered me most was the lack of parking, even though it was a Saturday, so I had to park the car far away and walk a quarter of an hour. The lentil soup with freshly baked giant flatbread is legendary. Large portions of the other dishes. There is always traditional Kurdish music in the background. Not a quiet place - rather lively. Has something.

I came here for the first time on a very good recommendation from a friend and I have to say it was absolutely amazing. Rarely eaten something so delicious and really loved the shop. When you enter, the store looks very inviting and visually very chic with its wood and stone look. It is very bright, beautifully decorated and very cozy at the large tables with benches. There is a lot of space here for eating with large groups, the shop has many tables. There are also some tables and benches outside. The store is very easy to reach with all the buses, trams and subways right around the corner. As soon as you enter you can also see the large counter where everything is freshly prepared and grilled, bread, salads, meat and grilled dishes. The skewers, for example, are freshly prepared on display. We ordered a grill plate for 2 people. To start we were given lentil soup, freshly baked bread from the oven and tzatziki and a spicy paste. The soup and dips were great, but the bread was absolutely amazing. Straight out of the oven like an airy, fluffy pizza, it was still steaming. Then came a huge grill plate, which was of course a visual highlight. Adana skewer, lamb chops, lamb fillets, chicken fillets, chicken wings, salad, rice, bulgur. The meat was really amazing, I've rarely eaten anything so fresh and delicious recently, grilled taste because of the charcoal, very spicy and intense meat taste and everything was super tender. The salad is freshly dressed with balsamic vinegar and lemon, for example. The bulgur is very spicy. So everything on the record was wonderful, A1. What was also great was that each of us had little plates in front of us where we could always take something from the plate. We also had an okra soup, which was also very spicy, with for example tomatoes, garlic and lamb. The price for this huge portion of such fresh quality, all homemade, was absolutely justified. The employees are friendly and accommodating. The shop is an absolute recommendation and you should try all the meat dishes. We were really very satisfied and thrilled, thank you 😃
