The restaurant is very nice but the hot drinks are very cold especially the tea. We came for breakfast and we came before and every time the tea is cold and the tea samovar is very small, it would be great if the tea service is improved. Five

First and Last Visit. 18€ for Pide with a few very small chunks of black meat and cheddar cheese- Menu Stated 2 dips, I only got one- unverschämt! Atmosphere was chaotic, far too much coming and going from people having to collect orders, Mensa style. There are far better restaurants around.

The taste was mostly disappointing – only the pide was halfway decent for me. The portions are generally too small, and the crowds quickly become far too noisy. Overall, the value for money is unfortunately not right here.

The food was not tasty, the meat and pitas are not cooked. You order and get it yourself. There is no waiter. Self service. They give you an alarm, you have to get up and get each order when it is ready. It is illogical to pay that much money and get your food yourself. It seemed strange to us as outsiders. The interior decoration is good.

It's a bit different from what you're used to in restaurants. It's unusual: you have to place your order at a terminal, like in the well-known fast-food restaurant with the yellow M, and take a pager to your table. This alerts you when your order is ready, and you then pick up your order at the counter, along with your drinks and food. The combination of Turkish cuisine with hollandaise sauce was surprising but not that tasty. The appetizer plate with various delicacies was excellent. The pide and other items you'd expect from the kebab shop next door were very well presented and delicious. The ambiance, with its high tables and stools, is more reminiscent of a fast-food restaurant. Because it's self-service, I can't give the service such a high rating. But if you want to eat something different, you're in good hands.

We were here today for Mother's Day. Of course it was very well attended. We still quickly found a place. Even though it was so busy and the situation was very stressful, the employees were always nice and accommodating. The food itself is good and looks good to the eye too. All in all, I was really pleasantly surprised.

Delicious food, great vibes — but the ordering system takes a moment to figure out Bonami offers truly excellent food — everything we tried was fresh, flavorful, and well-prepared. The atmosphere is modern and relaxed, and it’s a great spot for a quick drop-in, especially with a group. That said, the ordering system can be a bit confusing at first. You need to collect food from different counters, so if you’re with several people, it takes a little coordination. But once you understand how it works, it’s manageable — and definitely worth it for the quality of the food. All in all, a really nice place in Düsseldorf — we’ll be coming back!

The lady at the reception was super friendly and gave us a warm welcome. The service (ordering and picking up yourself) reminded me of Vapiano - not the best but not that bad either. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was comfortable. I'll come back again and try breakfast.

The food and cocktails were very tasty and the employees were always in a good mood. Unfortunately there were no descriptions of the dishes and drinks and so I accidentally had meat on my plate. The principle with the cards is not my thing, but I can understand that people like it.

Went there for the first time today! We sat outside and the first thing you need to know is that you won't be served and you have to pick up and order EVERYTHING yourself. Total chaos and uncoordinated. The staff just clears the tables at the end. We ordered meze, manti and a small pasta bake. The meze were the best, but they were served in bowls of dips for three and three small slices of bread, which was also very hard. We specifically got 2 small breads so that we could eat the meze. The manti were cold and hard, the dough was sticky and the noodles stuck to each other. Loveless... The casserole had no flavor and the macaroni was like bubble gum, very floury and dense. The homemade lemonade is NOT recommended. Far too sweet and a strange fizz and sourness hits you. Mixed from elderberry syrup, lemon squash and iced tea. Had to complain. Macaroni was ultimately also complained about. Actually you should have complained about everything except the meze because it was inedible. My mood was gone... All in all, not recommended. I was told and tried to convince myself otherwise….to no avail

The food was absolutely delicious. We shared various dishes (including Pide and Se Meze). When the sun was shining we were able to sit outside wonderfully. The ambience is great! 😊 The ordering system wasn't entirely intuitive for us, but everything worked out in the end. 👍🏻

We visited bona’me restaurant in Dusseldorf and unfortunately we were not completely satisfied with the experience. The idea was good, but the quality/price ratio was disappointing. What bothered us most was the poor service - in a restaurant that is primarily self-service, we expected more friendliness and attention. Also, the quality of the food was average at best. Overall, the price was high for what was offered. It's a shame, because the place has a nice atmosphere and has potential

Our visit was on: 01/31/25 We've been to Bona'me in Düsseldorf several times and I always order the pide - Bona'me every time it's super tasty and fresh, it never disappoints me! The open kitchen, the ambience is very nice, a great experience every time! Praise also to the nice chefs behind the counter!

The food was very tasty. We had the Bona'me Chicken Pide and the three small tacos. The food is great and very filling. The ambience was nice but very loud. The way food is ordered is that you get a card at the entrance and can see the menu via the QR code. You can then order food at the machine at the front and receive a beeper that tells you when you can pick up the food at the different stations.

Place was nice to have a break! Food was normal. It could be much better. Self-Service is oky but should be also more attractive. At dinner, what you see on the digital menu, almost sold-out. So you have to decide what they have. Extra charge for birthday cakes if you bring it with you. Waiters are very slowly. Our order was wrong and we should wait for others to have their orders.

I love Bona'me (explicitly in Düsseldorf ❗️) Consistently first class in everything: the food, ambience, staff, etc. I come from the catering industry myself and experience shows that the management has everything under control. Very trendy, huge choice of very good dishes. You must order at the terminal with a pager that rings to collect the dishes. Cheap, young audience. A little noisy on Saturday evening, but we had a great time.

Dining experience here is always great. Has a variety of food options and food is all freshly prepared and served. Always is busy, does not require a reservation. Their Pide and kebabs are great in flavour. Highly recommended. Had a great choice of desserts too.

The food tastes really good, and there's a huge selection. The ambiance and location are also top-notch. Unfortunately, after three visits, I have to deduct two stars, as we've never experienced our food being ready "at the same time." There were always very long delays, making it simply impossible to eat together. Today, unfortunately, I got my food 30 minutes after my partner. So, from now on, I'll be happy to come alone :)

Dangerous!!! We went there on Monday 23/03/2025 as a group of four, and all of us got food poisoning! Three of us were on vacation from Greece, and our friend, who lives permanently in Düsseldorf and visits the place frequently, took us there. We ordered KITIRLI MANTI, BEYTİ AVOCADO, TRÜF MANTARYAĞLI MANTI, BONA’ME PİDE, and TAVUKLU ÇİFTLİK SAC in the middle so we could share them! All night until the morning, all four of us were vomiting, had diarrhea, and developed a fever. Honestly, we should have gone to the hospital to get a medical report and file a complaint against you, but we were flying back to Greece the next day and barely made it to the airport in time for our flight. It’s unacceptable to pay money just to suffer, and this is extremely dangerous for people’s health!

Food poisoning, 6 hours of vomiting all night ruining our trip

The food was mediocre. But the worst thing is the whole concept of ordering in different stations and then waiting for each dish. The food of my friend arrived earlier than mine so she had to wait for me. Then whenever one of our orders was ready we had to stand up and walk between tables which was very annoying for us and I guess for the people eating. They tried to create a Vapiano concept but didn't work

On Monday 23/03/25 we ate dinner at the restaurant four people and all of them got food poisoning, all night vomiting and having diarrhea and the day after!! It's unacceptable to pay so much and get sick! We were there for holidays and destroyed our trip

Cozy atmosphere, delicious local oriental dishes with lots of variety. Negative point: on the breakfast plate the guacamole tastes really artificial and watery, not tasty at all, at the group breakfast it was noticed negatively on the plate. Please leave it out and replace it with something else 🙏🏼

Oriental McDonalds! The concept is brilliant, for the owner... You simply save the waiters and workers you normally need by letting the guests order themselves from machines like McDonald's, and also letting the guests pick up their orders themselves. In return, the prices for drinks and food are completely exorbitant...the atmosphere due to the guests constantly running back and forth is zero. There is simply no feel-good factor. Prices for this far away from good and evil, never again...

Today we had dinner at bona'me with four people. As a Turkish group, our expectations are of course high with such prices in a Turkish/Kurdish restaurant. However, all our expectations were disappointed. The quality of the food leaves a lot to be desired. The starters were served with far too little flatbread. When I was finally allowed to ask for more bread, I was handed cold, ready-made flatbreads. Afterwards, we were served traditional gastro ravioli with cheese instead of meat filling and with sauce as “Mantı”. Meat options are much better, but you can get much better meat for the price at many Turkish restaurants. When you try to speak to the staff, they avoid eye contact and reject attempts to speak to you. After a while they give short answers, which you can't call friendly. The atmosphere is beautifully designed and saves a lot from the experience. But it is also the only aspect that sets bona'me apart from the Turkish snack bar, because the quality remains below. If you want cheap ingredients on expensive plates, this is the place for you. Conclusion: good atmosphere for a meeting with friends, but you should eat beforehand.

Me and my wife each ordered a Chicken Beyti (a normal one and a crispy one). The Beyti were very nicely prepared. Unfortunately, the taste wasn't that convincing. The Beyti were filled with vegetables and chicken which is completely okay. Unfortunately there were more vegetables in the Beyti instead of the chicken, which actually wouldn't be so bad if it tasted good. The vegetables were full of oil. I would use something different next time. In the middle we had a •Sa Meze 1. The cheese dip there was really great! To drink there was homemade iced tea. Super nice with a little carbonation!

I went spontaneously that week without a reservation and ate a delicious mantı with cheese filling. It tasted great, the location is very central and the prices are quite okay. I can only recommend it!

Unusual oriental restaurant, modern Arabic-Turkish design. We were there for lunch and had modernly interpreted dishes that were really delicious. Only the bread served could have been fresher. The ordering system takes some getting used to.

Not cozy, but ok after a stroll through the city. Manti chili cheese was very good. Pide was a bit sparsely topped and tasteless. Quality has improved again...

We ended up here by chance. The service was very friendly. Everything looked very clean. Choice of large tablets, plus a sensor. All self-service. When we were there it was pretty empty. Wednesdays 2 p.m. Preparation was quick. We are pleased that this restaurant is also good in Stuttgart and will certainly test it. The selection was very tasty and we are looking forward to more.

The restaurant with Turkish/Kurdish food is housed in a huge restaurant. The system is self-service. The kitchenette with the various pick-up stations runs almost along the entire side of the restaurant. Lots of seating opposite. The high chairs are not quite designed for long stays. You can't lean completely. There is an alternative seating area in the front window area. You order with a personal card at self-service terminals and the restaurant pager informs you when it is ready for collection. The food was flavorful and well seasoned. The map is extensive. If there are several people, I recommend a mixed starter plate. The various main courses are also easy to share. Our table was wiped twice. I've never experienced that anywhere before. I thought that was very good. The restaurant is not cheap, but reasonably priced and is close to the Benrather Straße subway station. If you would like to try out other dishes, you are in good hands here.

The ambience in particular matches the taste. A little more expensive than average but you can eat it with a clear conscience. They are especially good with pide. Some dishes can easily be put second.

So first I wait 10 minutes in front of the store in the freezing cold to get in, then another 20 minutes in the store until my table is assigned. Then I have to use some card at an order terminal to order drinks? Do I still have to pick these up? With food, same thing. I order at a display, take a beeper with me and then have to get it? The only thing missing was that you had to do the washing up yourself. Eating couldn't be more uncomfortable, right? If I had known that, of course I wouldn't have gone. Pide wasn't that great either. To me it tasted more like a pizza with very little toppings on it. All in all I would never go there again

When we are in Düsseldorf, bona’me is a must for us. It never gets boring because there are often new dishes. The ambience and the food are simply great. Another big advantage for us, with two small children, is that there are no long waiting times.

I find the food very tasty. I've been there at different times and always had a good meal. Today we had the mixed starter plate and beyti with vegetables and walnuts. Anyone who enjoys ordering their own food electronically and picking it up to bring it to the table is in good hands here. It is relatively loud, but the seats are comfortable. If you need help, the staff are friendly and accommodating. From time to time I feel very comfortable there.

‏ We visited bona’me in Düsseldorf and tried several dishes. Here’s our experience: We started with Pide with meat and garlic yogurt on the side. It was fresh, delicious, and flavorful. ‏Then we had the şiş kebab with bulgur. Unfortunately, it was too salty and the meat was overcooked . ‏The meatballs with bulgur were excellent—perfectly cooked and well-seasoned. ‏For drinks, we ordered Ayran (Turkish yogurt drink), which was absolutely refreshing and complemented the food well. ‏For dessert, we had a pistachio cream pastry. It tasted amazing, though a bit too firm, making it hard to eat. ‏We also ordered Turkish tea, but three teapots were way too much for three people. One teapot would have been more than enough!

Unfortunately, bona'me couldn't convince us. The prices are very high and the restaurant's processes are not explained to you. The food tasted okay and the green juices turned strangely pink.

The reception was very friendly and the staff helped where help was needed. We also really like the furnishings. However, everything seemed very chaotic and not very organized. The ordering system with the pagers, the card and the monitors is good, but we don't necessarily want to stand at different counters and wait in a queue every time to pick up orders individually. It makes sense if you get the food AND DRINKS at a counter where you ordered. For a tea we had to wait in line for drinks for about 10 minutes in addition to the other orders. Unfortunately, we didn't really like the food. We expected more. And to us a Beyti Kebab really looks very different from the one that was served. We will visit the restaurant a second time after a while, at a quiet hour. Maybe things will improve by then.

You don't have a very complicated breakfast.

I've never seen anything so catastrophic. The food is so terrible, everything is sugary. The hummus tastes sweet! The bread is hard and old, or the dough contains the wrong ingredients and doesn't turn out well. It used to be much, much better, it no longer has anything to do with Turkish or Kurdish cuisine.

Nice atmosphere, the food tastes good too, BUT last time at Beyti Tavuk there were only 4-5 chicken strips, which surprised me a lot, but today there were only 3 small strips. The description says Beyti with chicken strips refined with vegetables. But it should rather be called Beyti with vegetables and refined with chicken strips. Even if it were called that, there would have been far too few strips - although I'm talking about the main ingredient here, I did eat a lot more vegetables. As I said, the food tastes good, but the content is not as described and marketed.

Diverse food, nice service and good value for money.

The food and atmosphere are great. The portions are a little big when eating by yourself so bring some people with you if you can. I very much enjoyed their homemade ice tea as well. Tip: to order you get a card then you have to use a self service terminal to order food and drinks. Then you have to scan you card then a buzzer then you grab you own food. If you need more bread that is free This is the second time I have eaten here while visiting Dussdorf and it won't be the last.

The service and ambience are still top 👍🏼 but they have dropped off when it comes to food. It doesn't taste like it used to when the store first opened.
