Really delicious, very friendly service.

Wonderful food, generous portions, authentic and handcrafted, very friendly and attentive service, and good prices. You can ask anything and everything will be explained clearly.

We had made a reservation and received a very warm welcome. The service and the food were simply superb. We were even served a complimentary appetizer as a welcome gift. The appetizers and main courses were perfect. To finish, we were offered a mango schnapps. Highly recommended.

The food is amazing, the staff is nice and we always leave full and fulfilled. I’d recommend this restaurant for everyone that likes Indian cruise. I’ll always come back when I’m in town.

Absolutely inauthentic. The ordered naan bread turned out to be focaccia from Aldi, and the order arrived soaking wet due to inadequate packaging and failure to cool down (condensation). The food itself also left much to be desired in terms of taste and variety. A very bad experience.

I went to Taj Restaurant and ordered the Butter Chicken, and it was absolutely fantastic! The sauce was creamy, aromatic, and perfectly seasoned without being too spicy. The meat was tender and cooked to perfection. You can tell they use fresh spices. The portion was also generous, and the price was very reasonable. Anyone who likes Indian food (or wants to try it) should definitely try the Butter Chicken. I'll definitely be back!

The ambiance could be improved, but since the focus is on takeout, the restaurant is rarely busy and very quiet, which is very pleasant. We were the only guests. The food is delicious, and you can choose the spiciness from mild to extra hot. Very friendly service. I'll be back.

Taj Indian Restaurant Schleswig – Curry instead of vegan currywurst! I admit: My first thought upon entering was, "Uh-oh, empty dining room – is that a sign?" Normally in Germany, that means either the food is as bland as boil-in-the-bag rice or the chef is on vacation in Goa. But lo and behold – my preconceptions were spicy and shattered! The dish that landed in front of me was fresh, fragrant, and so colorful that even my side salad at home would be offended. Suddenly, I understood what Indian cuisine is all about: an aromatic blend of spices that not only fills you up, but also massages the soul. Instead of a monotonous dish, here you'll find coriander, cumin, and cardamom in triple measure. Philosophically speaking, Indian food is almost like yoga on a plate: It brings balance to body and mind – and if not, then at least it makes you sweat. And the best part: Here, you get the full spice meditation without having to fall into the lotus position afterward when you see the price. The service? Friendly, attentive, and apparently clairvoyant – my water glass was always full when I thought about it. Value for money? Absolutely perfect, so much so that I almost whispered "Namaste and see you soon" as I left. In conclusion: A restaurant that proves that few guests in the dining room doesn't necessarily mean few orders. The delivery service is running smoothly, the kitchen is buzzing, and my palate has been dancing bhangra ever since. I'd gladly go back – and not just when the fridge at home is yawning.

Nice Indian restaurant in Schleswig. The place has a simple decor that influences the atmosphere. The menu has different types of food, not only Indian dishes. Tried the okra without meat and the lamb with rice. Both were very well prepared, and nicely seasoned. The vegetables inside were al dente. Overall nice place to grab indian cuisine.

My wife and I visit this restaurant regularly. Both the food and service are excellent. For us, it's the best Indian restaurant!

Starter veggie Pakoras (small amount of dips), then Lamb Korma, Tender meat and tasty curry, offered extra Rice. Unfortunately not authentic nan bread, or chapatis. Free Kokos schnapps!

Online Ordering: BE CAREFUL! The chef was drunk yesterday. It wasn't Indian. 5 different curries with the same boring tomato sauce. Every piece of unmarinated chicken was dry and hard, and the 'naan' bread wasn't. The worst was the mixed tandoori, 2 whole breast fillets that were fried to death. Not marinated either, just over-seasoned and blasted in the oven. Do you actually have a tandoor oven? Do you even know what a tandoor is? The kids were surprised that pizza was on the menu. Was that the same dry 'bread' that was sold as naan bread? xD The food arrived in 30 minutes, incredibly fast. I don't like writing bad reviews, but €90 later, what you're sending out is embarrassing. Never again

Fantastic place, amazing food, good portions, clean restaurant, very kind and professional service. We were the only ones so the atmosphere was a bit weird, but it's a tuesday, so it's kind of understandable. We took a detour because we read the reviews and it was a great decision. Cool that they had indian kids dishes, not the usual nuggets. Very highly recommended!

Wit hatten Hackfleisch mit Matar und Lamm Korma und beides war köstlich! Das Hackfleisch mit Matar werde ich versuchen nachzukochen, kommt sicher auf unsere Liste der Standardgerichte..

Order placed online at 5:00 p.m. for 6:15 p.m. Delivery took place at 6:45 p.m. 1 hour 45 minutes - without words. 1x sauce is missing, lamb lukewarm and only edible again from the microwave. Quality of the food good. Delivery service NOT recommended!!

Plates were not preheated, ordering was only possible by number and not by the name of the dish. Naan was pizza crust. The mango lassi was too thin. Chicken was tough.

Been there twice in the last 2 weeks, super delicious food. Very good, the green hot sauce is really hot and very tasty. The fried starters are also very good and not so greasy. The ambience might be a bit intimidating at first, but the service was great. I haven't tested the delivery service yet.

Excellent quality of ingredients and preparation, the price-performance ratio is great as a lot of meat and vegetables are used. We like to order from Taj and then pick up the food. The portions are large, the naan bread is very tasty, with garlic if desired. Flens on tap shortens the waiting time. Thank you very much, keep it up, we'll always be happy to come back and recommend you.

This was the second time we have been here at longer intervals. The Indian dishes were always very good, rich and at least as tasty as in other Indian restaurants in Lollfuß. The house's attention: Indian bread with three different dips was very tasty! The dishes were very well prepared, rice was served free of charge and the coconut schnapps as a nightcap rounded everything off. Price performance more than justified. Authentic understated service.

Wir hatten richtig leckeres Essen und die Bedienung war super. Der indische schwarze Tee ist was ganz besonderes. Die schärfegrade beim Essen kann man selbst bestimmen und alles wird frisch zubereitet.

A small restaurant with good quality, the chef is Pakistani. Everything is well seasoned and the selection of dishes is sufficient. You can eat here alone or as a small group. Reservations are hardly necessary. The service is friendly and good.

Den vielen positiven Bewertungen kann ich mich uneingeschränkt anschließen. Das Essen war köstlich. Meine Freundin und ich haben auch den indischen Rotwein (Überraschung) zum Essen gekostet. Er musste nur etwas im Glas stehen bleiben (Geschmacksentfaltung, Temperatur). Der sehr freundliche Service bekommt ein extra Lob. Schade, dass so wenige am Abend in der Woche im Restaurant essen. Viele lassen sich das Essen liefern. Da entgeht ihnen das Ambiente und auch die Leckereien auf's Haus (Naanbrot mit drei Dips, Mangoschnaps zum Schluss). Kleiner Minuspunkt: Anfang Oktober als einzige Gäste im Lokal war es etwas kalt. Insbesondere, da durch den Lieferservice die Tür oft geöffnet wurde.

Wir waren zum 1. Mal dort. Sehr warmherzige Begrüßung und weil wir bei nasskaltem Wetter die ersten Gäste waren wurde uns direkt der Tisch nah an der Heizung angeboten. Das Essen konnten wir in 3 Schärfegraden wählen, sicherheitshalber haben wir erstmal mild gewählt.... das war zu wenig :) und als wir mit dem auf dem Tisch stehenden Salz und Pfeffer nachwürzten kam der aufmerksame Kellner ohne Aufforderung und brachte uns Öl mit Chili, Knoblauch, Ingwer und Kräutern... Es empfiehlt sich sehr vorsichtige Anwendung!!! Aber lecker! Das Essen kam angemessen schnell. Die Portionen waren gross, frisch zubereitet mit ausreichend Fleisch und Gemüse, die Preise sind mehr als angemessen. Der Service ist aufmerksam und sehr freundlich. Das Ambiente ist etwas sparsam, es könnte wärmer, einladender wirken mit etwas mehr indischem Flair und wärmeren Farben. Kleine Ecken wie die Heizung wirken etwas abgenutzt und stören den ansonsten sehr gepflegten Rahmen. Insgesamt hat es uns sehr gut gefallen!

Suppe und Salat und indischer T waren sehr lecker. Die Bedienung etwas stümperhaft. Da bin ich einfach sehr verwöhnt mim Sadhu in Flensburg.

Wir bestellten gestern Abend zum ersten Mal dort & ließen es liefern. Lieferzeit betrug etwas über eine Stunde (also noch im Rahmen). Schon am Telefon sehr freundlich & auch der Fahrer war es. Das Essen kam super verpackt und noch heiss bei uns an. Portionen angemessen, Preis- Leistungsverhältnis stimmt. Alles frische Zutaten! Lecker, wir bestellen wieder. Dem Ambiente habe ich nur einen Punkt gegeben, weil wir nicht vor Ort zum Essen waren.

Indian atmosphere, friendly service and prices, good portions and very tasty food.

Der äußere Anblick täuscht und erinnert eher an einen Imbiss, als an ein Restaurant, doch sobald man hineingeht, erwartet einen ein kleines, aber ordentliches, indisches Restaurant mit sehr anständigen Preisen ( in Schnitt 13,-Euro). Sehr empfehlenswert und einen Besuch wert.

Das Essen ist top, leider lässt der Service sehr zu wünschen übrig. Sie sind scheinbar eher auf Lieferservice eingerichtet als auf Gäste vor Ort. Schade.

Ein nettes und sympathisches Team. Das Essen war absolut lecker und hat wunderbar geschmeckt, vor allem das Gericht Bhindi und der Mango Lassi! Alles war frisch zubereitet, da hat sich das Warten mehr als gelohnt. Wir kommen immer gerne wieder!

Das Masala chicken mit Gemüse ist geschmacklich sehr gut und war perfekt gewürzt (Schärfegrad wurde vorab gefragt) allerdings bin ich nicht der Reis-Esser, sondern nehme immer nur minimal davon. Bisher bin ich immer satt geworden (bei Thailändischen Restaurants oder Indischen) nur hier war die Portion an Fleisch & Gemüse so klein, dass ich tatsächlich hungrig gegangen bin. Die Portion Reis hingegen ist riesig. Der Service ist langsam aber freundlich.

Wir sind heute im Taj in Schleswig "gelandet" dank eines Schlemmergutscheinbuch...sehr lecker, nettes Personal...bestimmt nicht der letzte Besuch!
