There's noting better than good food. Well, except great service and great food, of course. Gosh does that for you. A chef who knows what he wants, and executes it beautifully. You'd be remiss not to try the special, it's always something to write home about. But if that's not your thing, the menu has something for everyone, from my vegetarian partner to my carnivore friends. If there's one thing I could wish for, it's not to have to drive so far to get that good of a dinner. But, hey, can't clone good chefs, so I have to drive.

A beautiful place to have a really good meal. The staff is uniquely good and attentive. Very good food prepared with a lot of love.❤️ I love being here. THANK YOU❣️

I ordered beef liver but was served seared liver as well as chips. After the complaint I received a reasonable court order. The drinks menu has hardly any selection: beer, wine and a few short drinks.

We were at Gosch in Schleswig for the first time today, excellent service, super delicious food. Great quality. We had the shrimps with salad as a starter, and the rump steak with mushroom cream and beef liver as the main course. We'll definitely be back. Next time there will also be photos.

Super tasty, super friendly. The waitress was on her second day and was still a bit unsure but very charming. It was fun - we'd love to come back - the fried vanilla pudding was awesome!

My family and I were on route to Denmark, as the train dropped us off in Schleswig with 3h waiting time in between - but as soon as we found this very local cozy German restaurant, we forgot all our troubles with Deutsche Bahn. The food was great, we had Schnitzel with Pfifferling Rahmsauce, Bruschetta, cheese fries and a fresh Salad with chicken strips. Overall, the waiters were very friendly, food was served quite quick and we felt very welcome, even without reservation.

Excellent cuisine, homemade. Here you eat twice. The eye and the palate. The service staff and the owner, great guys.

Here you can see the difference between cheap and inexpensive. High culinary art meets dedicated service. The boss's expertise and the selection of rum is not only very commendable but exemplary. We say thank you!!!

Nice little restaurant. But not that cheap. Maybe a little too expensive for a stopover on your holiday trip. But it is also open at lunchtime and even on holidays.

The steak pan with oven baked potato was good. But the highlight was the fried vanilla pudding with compote. Probably not what you'd find in the health food aisle, but ooooh sooo gooood. My vegetarian friend was extremely pleased as well.

The start was friendly, the food was good, but a side salad was significantly overpriced at €6.50. It is served in an approximately 300 ml glass. The tip is certainly included in the price. The fact that you have to wait in line to pay and thus certainly minimizes the atmosphere of the guests sitting in this room is suboptimal. Unfortunately we won't be coming back, this was our second chance. A pity

Went there spontaneously for dinner as a couple. There was still room for us, nice conversation... So, now to the essentials. The food was top, as was the service. Ambience is good, as well as price/performance.

The food is very tasty, but the drinks prices are outrageous! A whopping 6.50 for a bottled beer is an outrage. That's why I was here once and never again.

Unfortunately, our order didn't work out so well (it was simply forgotten). It’s rather “suboptimal” for a first visit…. But the food was okay and the service was attentive. Certainly there is potential for improvement.

Maundy Thursday once again a business meeting of our Syslesvig Øst section with two employees. We have been visiting Gosch's inn regularly for a few years now, both on business and privately. Unfortunately we didn't feel as comfortable as we're used to, the atmosphere wasn't at all what we like and the service was correct but the final whistle was missing. We always liked the almost family atmosphere so much. The food was okay, but here too my colleagues and I made certain compromises. So I decided to initially visit other restaurants in Schleswig on business. What a shame actually! Postscript: Since my employees would really like to continue to have our company dinners at the Gasthof Gosch, I have agreed to continue doing so, but on the condition that the particularly unfriendly and unpleasant employee (without hair, which has nothing to do with it) no longer serves us. We are of the opinion that we should spend Danish tax money according to the principle of “good money for good work”. With that in mind, happy Pentecost

I don't know what all the customers with positive reviews ate. The food was really bad, a burger for 23 euros!!! Cheaply assembled, bad store-bought sauce. Supposedly with extra beef fillet, but it wasn't!!! The matjes had a strange consistency and the potatoes were bought already peeled. Price performance is not right at all. Should have returned the food.

Wir machen regelmäßig Kurzreisen nach Schleswig. Seit dem ersten Besuch dort lassen wir es uns nicht nehmen bei" Gosch" immer mindestens ein Mal zu essen. Das Essen ist lecker und wir haben selten einen sooo guten Service und soviel Kundenorientierung erlebt! Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist also TOP! An den Wochenenenden ist, nach unserer Erfahrung, eine Reservierung notwendig.

We regularly take short trips to Schleswig. Since our first visit to SL, we have not missed the opportunity to eat at "Gosch" at least once. The food is delicious and we have rarely experienced such good service and so much customer focus! The price-performance ratio is TOP! Reservations should be made on weekends.

I thought it was a Gosch Sylt but I was surprised with something better than a Gosch. The meat was amazing and so were the prices!

1755. That's how old the building is. The four of us got the space in the “old cloakroom”. Great private room for us. Our dog was also well tidied up. It was nice that there was a drinking bowl right there for Tamina. There was dark wheat. For me as an Allgäu resident, it is of course welcome. The food was so delicious. For me I had vegan tortellini in garlic sauce with baby spinach, olives and dried tomatoes. Mega tasty. My wife and friends also loved the food. At the end we ordered coffee and ha, gotcha, but a minus point. There is no oat milk. No, that's why there are still the full number of stars. Time just flew by. Unfortunately, this evening also came to an end. We are 950 km away from here, but we will definitely come back. Many thanks to the friendly team at Gosch's. Do you know what is meant by “Gosch” in the Allgäu? Derogatory for mouth. But that is definitely not what is meant here

Wir hatten Freunde eingeladen und uns wurde das Restaurant empfohlen. Der Empfang war sehr nett. Die Bedienung etwas kühl aber nicht unfreundlich. Leider war das Essen nicht so der Hit. Eine Soße zum Matjes die mit Majonäse gemacht wird ist nicht so lecker. Hausfrauenart sieht anders aus. Die Leber war trocken gebraten. Dann hatten wir Tischbesuch von Ameisen……..aber alte Gemäuer da kommt das schon mal vor. Ich hoffe die Betreiber halten das durch…..die waren sehr nett 🙏🙏

An ancient inn with an ambitious cuisine. Recommended

Our food tasted very good and was plentiful at the same time. We felt comfortable in the historic building, but were also lucky to be able to sit alone in a room. We were offered two options. If we had chosen the other one, it would have been much too loud due to the small company. At the beginning the service was very attentive, but by the end of our stay the presence was a bit too low. Overall we liked it. The next visit will follow soon with my wife.

I can't agree with the good reviews. There were five of us and in four cases we had mediocre to bad food. The vegetarian dishes in particular were carelessly prepared and clearly had bad tastes: fat that was too hot, cheap vinegar, etc. Some of the fried potatoes were pale and burnt at the same time, and the plates and side dishes were cold.

An excellent choice. The food is very tasty and freshly prepared. Service is very nice and accommodating. Particularly important for us: our dog lady could come with us. We were really very satisfied and would love to come back

Wir hatten extra vorher im Internet nach Öffnungszeiten geschaut. Warme Küche sollte bis 21 h sein. Wir waren um 20:10 h dort und wurden ziemlich ungnädig empfangen. Was man für uns tun könne. Dear foodies and gourmets looking for the next taste experience, I have to tell you about an epic culinary adventure that recently took place at my second home, aka Gosch's Gasthaus in Schleswig, my favorite restaurant! And of course the whole thing took place on my birthday - because why shouldn't you start the new year with a bang? Our hero of the evening was none other than Lars, the chef and mastermind behind the gastronomic wonders of this place. He treated us to a surprise menu that still makes my taste buds dance! The journey began with chickpea balls accompanied by a salad so fresh you'd think it had just been picked from the garden. This was accompanied by warm antipasto vegetables that were so delicious I almost forgot they were vegetables! But that was just the beginning, because Lars had even more culinary surprises in store. As a main course we were served venison leg and crispy salmon, accompanied by Parmesan noodles, fresh truffles and truffle oil and dried tomatoes. A heavenly ensemble that sent my taste buds into a frenzy! And then came the dessert – a true masterpiece of gastronomy. Canned corn ice cream with popcorn and a pinch of sea salt, topped with a chocolate cake with a generous splash of eggnog. A combination that sounded so crazy that even Lars said I had to be a crazy noodle to like it. but what should I say? It was simply divine! A huge thank you to Lars, Ela and the rest of the wonderful team for this unforgettable evening! You have proven that eating is not just nourishment, but a journey for the senses that enchants us with every bite. So, dear foodies, if you are looking for a restaurant that will send your taste buds on a journey, then you definitely have to stop by Lars. You won’t regret it – we promise! And just get involved with Lars' cooking interpretations and let yourself be enchanted with a surprise menu. The food was good 👍 The drinks are Excellent. The only question is what is 0.50 cents extra for drinks and 4.50 euros extra for food? Tip right?!

We booked a table for 14 people here for our wedding. The restaurant was super accommodating; we were allowed to decorate the table the evening before and even stay seated during opening hours. The service staff, especially Leo, was absolutely top class, super professional and extremely friendly. As a bride and groom, we felt extremely well looked after and the guests also had nothing but praise. The food (we only had time for one main course) was very tasty and beautifully presented. Absolutely recommended, we will definitely come back again and again! Thank you very much for making our day very special🫶🏻

Das ist ja sowieso eine Institution. Richtig gutes Essen, auf den Punkt fertig, dazu sehr aufmerksame Bedienung und faire Preise.

Lecker essen, kleiner Abzug beim Service, weil leere Gläser nicht aufmerksam machten und man nicht gefragt wurde, ob man noch etwas möchte.

Sehr nette Menschen und das Essen war auch sehr lecker. Die vegetarische Auswahl wurde denke ich seit meinem letzten Besuch erweitert, worüber ich mich gefreut habe.

Vor kurzem waren wir dort zu einer Weihnachtsfeier eingeladen leider muss ich sagen wie auch viele andere von der Feier war das Essen kalt das Rumpsteak so durch gebraten dass es grau von innen war und die Bratkartoffeln nur mal kurz an der Pfanne vorbei gelaufen sind der Service hat sich kaum blicken lassen geschweige denn nach dem Wohl ihrer Gäste gefragt der steakteller ist leider viel zu überteuert dafür dass alles kalt viel zu wenig und leider auch alles zu zäh gebraten wurden ist als gelernter restaurantfachmann war dieser Abend so leider nicht an zu nehmen wenn ihr nicht in der Lage seid heißes vernünftiges Essen raus zu geben an eine größere Gruppe dann nimmt man sowas meiner Meinung nach nicht an dazu kommt dass ihr genau wusstet was wir alle essen möchten und ihr die Vorbereitungen genau treffen konntet es war also kein a la carte

Ich war heute zum ersten Mal in diesem Lokal und muss sagen, dass ich sehr erfreut war. Das Lokal ist sehr sauber, was man vor allem an den blitzeblanken Gläsern, dem Besteck und den sehr schönen Tellern sah. Der Tisch für zwei war sehr leicht zugänglich, was man bei einigen Restaurants leider nicht behaupten kann. Begrüßt wurde ich von einem sehr netten Herren, welcher mich sofort zu meinem Tisch begleitete. Mein bestelltes Hähnchenfilet mit Kokosrisotto und Mangochutney kam recht schnell, was meinen hungrigen Magen sehr erfreute. Das Risotto war einfach nur göttlich. Ein genüsslicher Traum, welcher mit den Mangostückchen perfektioniert wurde. Das Hähnchenfilet war zart und saftig und passte vorzüglich zu dem Risotto. Da mein Kühlschrank heute leer war, beschloss ich noch eine Kleinigkeit für daheim mitzunehmen. Die Steakplatte war außerordentlich. Die Speckbohnen war reichlich, die Bratkartoffeln hatten eine perfekte Konsistenz und die Steaks....ich hatte kein Mitleid mit den Tieren, die dafür gerichtet wurden. Jeder Bissen ein Genuss. Der Kellner, welcher ständig unterwegs war um nach dem Rechten zu sehen, reagiert umgehend auf Anfragen/Handzeichen, was einem das Gefühl von Achtsamkeit vermittelte. Das Schöne an diesem Service war, dass man auch NICHT ständig angesprochen wurde, was vor allem beim Essen sehr störend ist. Leider findet man solch einen Service heutzutage eher selten. Ich fühlte mich definitiv wohl in diesem Lokal. Bezahlt habe ich mit Karte, was leider nirgends vermerkt war, dass dies verfügbar ist. Da ich schon öfters in Lokalen gelandet bin, wo Kartenzahlungen nicht verfügbar waren, freut es mich, dass ich hier bargeldlos zahlen konnte. Mein einziger Kritikpunkt war die Sinalco Cola Zero, aber das liegt daran, dass ich eher die Coca Cola Zero bevorzuge. Zu den sanitären Anlagen kann ich leider nichts schreiben, da ich diese nicht aufgesucht habe. Vielleicht beim nächsten Mal.

Leckeres Essen und netter Service

Ausgesprochen lecker und kreativ. Wir sind durch Zufall hier gelandet und sind begeistert. Auch die Vegetarier in der Familie hatten eine große Auswahl und sehr leckeres Essen. Zwei Jahre später waren wir wieder hier und sind genauso begeistert wie beim ersten Mal: exzellentes Essen, auch als Vegetarierin werde ich hier glücklich, und aufmerksamen Service.

Wir waren rundum zufrieden, ob Fisch, Fleisch oder Nudelgericht super lecker und die Preise passen. Das gesamte Personal sehr freundlich und haben auch ohne Reservierung einen schönen Tisch bekommen. Wenn unser Urlaub länger gewesen wäre, wären wir auch nochmal gekommen. 👌😊DANKE 🍀

Top Adresse in Schleswig! Wir waren zum ersten Mal hier und sehr positiv überrascht. Der Service war schnell und sehr nett (auch bei recht vollem Haus am Samstagabend), das Essen war lecker, unddie Karte ist durchaus kreativ. Veggie Burger mit Sellerie Patty und Birne, Zander auf Peperoni und Kürbis, als Dessert eine Milreichspraline und ein gebratener Vanillepudding... Natürlich gibt's auch Klassiker wie Matjes Hausfrauenart. Wir haben noch bis 22.30 gemütlich gesessen und etwas getrunken, auch wenn die Öffnungszeiten offiziell sagen, um 21 Uhr ist Schluss. Das ist wahre Gastlichkeit. Dankeschön!

Super freundlicher Service. Leckeres Essen. Wir waren auf der Rückreise aus dem Urlaub dort angehalten. Hat alles reibungslos funktioniert obwohl wir uns für 20 Uhr angekündigt haben.

Ein richtig schöner Gasthof , abseits des Touristenrummels . Das Gebäude und die Gasträume haben viel Atmosphäre. Man wird von überragend professionellem und außergewöhnlich freundlichem Servicekräften empfangen und bedient. Das Essen ist inovativ , super lecker und auch Vegetarier und Veganer haben eine gute Auswahl . Das Preis -Leistungsverhältnis ist absolut korrekt. Wir werden sicher wiederkommen .

Seit zwei Jahren bin ich hier Stammkunde und das natürlich nicht von ungefähr. Bei diesem unaufdringlich netten und doch stets aufmerksamen Servicepersonal fühlt man sich einfach wohl. Aber die echte Liebe zu dieser Gaststätte geht bei mir natürlich durch den Magen…. Der Besitzer ist einfach nur ein Spitzenkoch mit tollen Ideen. Heute gab‘s z.B. als Tagesgericht ein wundervolles Schaschlik: aus Meisterhand mutierte das Frittenbudengericht zur extremen Delikatesse. Die Fleischstücke waren auf dem Punkt, die Zwiebeln hatten Stiffadoqualität und an die kräftige, pfeffrige Sauce werde ich noch Tage denken. Update: Bin immer noch Stammkunde. Mit seiner Zubereitung versteht der Koch es einfach, selbst Hausmannskost zu adeln. Mein heutiges Sauerfleisch war einfach ein Gedicht!
