Very friendly service, delicious food, comfortable chairs, pleasant atmosphere. We spent a lovely time here and would gladly return; only the restrooms are somewhat neglected.

The service was very attentive and polite. The food was delicious, as expected. Unfortunately, the checkout process took far too long.

Saturday evening, all tables booked. Reservations only, friendly service, Balkan food, everything excellent. We love it there.

The Riva impresses with its stylish ambiance, outstanding food, and impeccable service. You can feel the passion that goes into the work here. A true highlight for anyone who appreciates good food and a pleasant atmosphere. I'll definitely be back!

This was our first time at Riva, as it had been highly recommended to us by several people. The atmosphere is pleasant, and the service very friendly. Both the food and drinks took a while to arrive. The taste was okay, but the meat was all cooked quite briefly, sometimes a bit too pink/red for my liking, and the flavor was okay, but not outstanding. The portions were truly enormous, so everyone should be full. The prices are therefore a bit on the higher side, averaging €23-25 ​​(there are a few cheaper dishes, as well as significantly more expensive ones). Overall, it's solid, but it won't be my new favorite restaurant.

The food is, of course, incredibly delicious! Freshly grilled meat, juicy cevapi—everything is prepared with love. The portions are generous, so you're guaranteed to be full, and the value for money is absolutely spot on. I particularly liked the family atmosphere—as if you were visiting friends. We were there yesterday with a total of eight people, and everyone was thrilled. It's been ages since we've experienced such nice and friendly staff. They were always willing to listen and smile for all our needs. To simply recommend the food doesn't do it justice. It was excellent, and the value for money is indescribable. We've been to Riva several times now, and yesterday we had a small family celebration with 8 people. It was very nice, quiet, the service was attentive, polite, and everyone was very friendly as always. Some of us chose starters, and after a reasonable wait, they were served. After a few more minutes, we were served a fresh, crisp salad. We then had 2 of the meat skewers, 1 of the violin, and 5 fillet medallions. The food is always fantastic. Tender meat, very tasty sauce, and definitely a decent portion size. More over than too little; we found the prices a bit high, but absolutely justified for what was offered. We don't drink alcohol, so we had 2-3 soft drinks per person. We also had 1 beer, 2 Aperols, and 4 ice creams for dessert, and yet we ended up spending way under the 400.00€ we had previously estimated (including tip). We'll definitely be back and are already looking forward to the air conditioning next year, as the staff promised. That would be my only criticism: the air practically stagnated in the dining room and was very warm. When the sun really shines here, it's sure to be unbearably hot. Otherwise, many thanks to the great team, and keep up the good work.

We had dinner there on May 31, 2025, as part of a family reunion to round off the day. The waiter and staff were very nice and friendly, but not intrusive. The food was very good, and anything we didn't finish was immediately packed to take home. They even asked if we needed anything packed. We all felt very comfortable there; I can wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant.

We arrived around 9:45 p.m. with the bride and groom from the wedding reception and were allowed to have a few drinks even though the restaurant normally closes at 10:00 p.m.! Both staff and management (???) who were still there were super nice. We got our drinks and were told not to stress. The icing on the cake was the Juliska beer that was offered to us! We enjoyed the ambiance and will go there earlier next time and enjoy the food there. Thank you so much for the warm welcome!

Favorite restaurant in Schleswig. The location is very nice, you have a direct view of the Schlei from the restaurant. The food is plentiful, which I would like to mention as a particularly positive thing is that I wasn't asked to pay extra for ketchup/mayo and the delicious salsa sauce! The food is of great quality, especially the beef sirloin steak was buttery soft and was easy to eat! Due to the large portions, we took the rest of the food with us, which was of course packed for us (great!) and it still tasted very good the next day. I'd love to come back!

Ate at the Riva restaurant in Schleswig on February 11th, 2025, what a culinary experience. The food was first class, the menu offered senior menu options not experienced in other restaurants. When we ordered wine, the waiter brought us small samples of red wine to taste before we decided. If you could give more stars, the waiter would have earned at least ***********; we experienced warmth, closeness and joy from him. We felt more than welcome. Try to eat at Riva, it's worth a visit. A neat and nicely located restaurant. The menu is solid, I go there sometimes. Very good for filling up! As a smoker, I also get my money's worth! I really like the separate "indoor smoking area", which is also outside, so to speak.

We labeled Riva as a fish restaurant and were taught better! Mega delicious food, large portions and super nice service. It's great how it has rebuilt itself after the flood! But traces are still visible. We had three dishes that arrived warm at the same time. The poultry dishes were served with croquettes. The salad was served first. My allergy was taken into account.

Unfortunately, we haven't eaten at Riva for a long time, but we ate here again on the occasion of our 36th wedding anniversary. The ambience has improved significantly thanks to the renovation after the storm surge. The new tables and chairs look great. We had the fillet medallions for my wife (as a senior plate👍) and the “funny ban”. The food was ready very quickly and everything (fries, rice, croquettes, meat and the sauces were super tasty. The beef from the “Lustigen Bann” was butter-tender. This makes eating out fun. We will come back quickly.

We were there for dinner with 4 people on Saturday, the service was quick and friendly, the food came in a reasonable time and the portions were more than generous. What is often the case in restaurants where the portions are large, the food is rather mediocre, does not apply here. It was really delicious and cheap for the portion. Plus the great view over the Schlei. The next time we are in Schleswig again, we will definitely come back

Es war sehr lecker , aber die Proportionen viel zu groß. Bei Nachfrage schaffen 80% sie nicht. Der Service ist sehr freundlich, der Blick auf die Schlei wunderschön und der kostenlose Parkplatz in unmittelbarer Nähe sehr angenehm. Absolut empfehlenswert!! Der Rechnungsbetrag wurde uns zwar auch mündlich genannt, stimmte aber. Hier gehen wir jederzeit wieder hin.

Top restaurant with a wide range of food and drinks. The waiting time for the ordered food can be rated as quick, even in a very busy restaurant. The service is courteous and quick. The portions are really good and difficult to manage, the fried potatoes are really tasty, the meat is unbeatably good and juicy. The pricing is really reasonable and the view of the Schlei is wonderful. The traditional nightcap at the end was a real hit. I express my respect for this great restaurant.

We had dinner at this restaurant. It is located at the banks of the Schlei inlet near downtown Schleswig with great views of the water. The menu is extensive with several choices such as soups, salads and fish. Especially a large selection of grill dishes should be mentioned and we chose a couple of these. The food was excellent and the portions generous and we also enjoyed very good service. Opening hours may vary so check hours to avoid disappointments.

Hier stimmt wirklich mal alles! Fleisch schön saftig und die Beilagen super frisch. Die Bratkartoffeln sind von der Chefin selbst gemacht und dazu karamellisiert....ein wirkliches Gedicht. Hier arbeitet die Familie noch selbst.....sehr lecker.
