Täglich Brot - Insel Mainau

We had a delicious sandwich (Seele Schinken Brot) here during our visit to Meinau. It looked very neat and even had a robot that sprang into action as soon as it was full of dishes. Plenty of seating.

Beautiful view, but completely exorbitant prices 🌊 2 out of 5 stars The "Täglich Brot" bakery scores points with its great location and view of the lake, but unfortunately, that's about where it ends. Charging €8 for a simple sandwich is excessive, even for a destination like Mainau Island. The quality of the food is okay, but by no means exceptional – the high price can be explained solely by the view, not by the product itself. Furthermore, the atmosphere was rather tense: The waiters seemed stressed and rushed, which is no surprise given the long queue – there's only one cash register for everything. This leads to unnecessarily long waits, even though the selection is quite limited. It's a shame, because with a little more organization and fairer prices, this place could be much more pleasant. For a quick, affordable snack experience on Mainau Island, I'd probably bring something with me next time.

The cakes and tortes were delicious! The long line at the counter while ordering was a bit inconvenient, as it takes time for the individual components to be assembled and prepared.

Nice place...the pizza tastes good unfortunately the pizza dough is still raw why???Unfortunately we had a stomach ache afterwards!:(

The location at the entrance to the harbor is really good. The offer is ok, the quality is right. The price is okay too, but the friendliness needs to be worked on, especially since the season has just started...

Queue for 50 minutes for a bad pizza and drinks. The organization is still 1995! Two very slow ladies behind the cash register, a line all the way out. You can't expect efficiency.

Just another tourist trap with slow service and unshamed prices: 3€ for a 0.25l tap water after waiting 13 minutes in line with 4-5 people in front. Just don't!

Hello everyone, I've been working for Mainau in "Täglich Brot" for a few years now and I'm happy about every guest I can satisfy if possible. I feel comfortable in our family Tealm and enjoy working there. Even though I know that you can never please everyone, I try to the best of my ability and to the best of my ability to make the guests' stay as pleasant and satisfied as possible. Very slow service! I had a panini with grilled vegetables and it had barely any vegetables but way too much cheese. So I couldn't taste any of the veggies, was very bland!

The prices are very expensive but the food here is exceptionally good

Prices ok, Black Forest cake was okay, unfortunately the plum and raspberry cake was not at all

Large, well-equipped, clean place, with good, fast and courteous service. But I ate it so-so...

Panini was almost as thin as a pancake and not even crispy, sad that it costs so much and what is on the menu doesn't outweigh a juice shop.

There are coffee drinks with milk alternatives and we had a choice of three vegan cakes. The carrot cake was very juicy and delicious. The blueberry muffin and the chocolate cookie were also very good. You could sit comfortably outside in the beer garden. Service was friendly and helpful.

Food is okay, but too expensive for what is on offer. Forever a long wait, about 30 minutes, even though the line didn't even go all the way to the door... Employees work at a snail's pace

Unfriendly staff long wait time don't recommend

Located directly at the harbor at the "Comturey", this bakery and self-service snack bar offers, in addition to drinks, coffee and cakes, panini sandwiches, pizza and organic bread. Open from the end of March to the end of October from morning to late afternoon (varies depending on the month) except Wednesday and Thursday.

Unfortunately the cashier was too rude. It is better to train staff to behave in a friendly manner

Fresh baked goods, salty and sweet. Also coffee!

Deux personnes seules: une pour encaisser et servir, l'autre pour préparer les pizzas/paninis... ... on a donc attendu 40min nos pizzas Quant à la qualité... les sandwichs sont bof (et chers)

Le bip de la pizza ne fonctionnait pas... Du coup ma pizza est arrivée très tiède. Boissons chères 6 euros les 75cl d'eau...

Sauber und recht modern gehalten. Preise etwas hoch und das Panini war geschmacklich schwach. Nach vielen Stunden auf der Insel wollten wir uns ein Cola gönnen, ist hier leider auch nicht erhältlich.

מומלץ לשבת בחוץ. בפנים קצת מחניק. טעים מאוד במיוחד העוגות. שירות עצמי יעיל.

Super Atmosphäre und die Pizza wird frisch gemacht und sieht nicht nur lecker aus, sie schmecken hervorragend.

Schöne Aussicht auf den See und die Anlage. Prima Service und nettes Personal.

Super Kuchen, guter Kaffee. Drinnen sehr laut, voll, heiß und stickig. Wenn es das Wetter erlaubt, ist es draußen schön

Sonst hat es uns besser gefallen , aber es war sehr voll und deshalb etwas ungemütlich und laut .

Super essen und sehr gute Salatsauce

Nach einiger Wartezeit bekamen wir einen kleinen sehr leckeren und frisch zubereiteten Imbiss. Das Warten hat sich gelohnt 👌👌👌

Schön gelegenes Café und schönes Ambiente. Der Cappuccino war mit 3,80 € angemessen und sehr Lecker. Der Apfelkuchen mit 4,30 € empfand ich als zu teuer - zumal dieser nicht herausragend, sondern Standard und etwas trocken war. Daher auch der Punktabzug.

Am Eingang zur Insel, am Anleger, gelegen. Kuchen und Brot ist sehr lecker. Die Bedienung war freundlich, Preise sind in Ordnung.

Приятное место Очень хорошие цены жля курортного кафе. Седвичи великолепны. Но панини сухие. Отдельная приятность, сидели перед закрытием и получили бесплатный прецель.

Leckeres Essen, die Paninis waren richtig gut. Leider nimmt man es mit den Covid 19 -Regeln nicht so genau. Da wird eine Person abgeszellt, damit sich jeder Gast registriert - sehr gut - aber Leute die keine Masken tragen nicht darauf hingewiesen .... Das geht gar nicht!!! Deswegen ein Stern Abzug.

Einfaches Selbstbedienungsrestaurant mit solidem Angebot und Plätzen Innen wie Außen, alle Speisen auch zum mitnehmen.

Backwaren schmecken gut sind aber meiner Meinung nach sehr teuer.

Guter Kaffee und sehr feine Kuchen!
