Unfriendly service and bad food, no willingness to change anything about the dishes. After being scolded, we were asked to go to the kiosk if we wanted fries

We were not taken seriously and the service was very poor

We went there for dinner today (with our dog). The gentleman who served us was very attentive, super nice and accommodating. The food (salad with fish and potato salad with fish) was nicely presented and tasted good. We are happy to pay a little more for a nice ambience and good service. (2 main courses, 2 beers, 2 espressos 48€)

The waitress (50-60 years old) is now on my list of the rudest waiters I have ever met. There are so many reviews about her, which means it's time to retire her. She's probably tired of everything, the problem is that the customers are tired of her too...

The positive: the apple strudel was very tasty and beautifully prepared. For the price, the piece was quite small. We were there with several people and the food was sometimes like that, sometimes like that. There is still a lot of room for improvement in terms of service, but the ambience is quite nice. We all agreed: not worth another visit.

Service very nice, quality good. But: everyone a cappuccino, everyone a piece of apple strudel with vanilla sauce or 1 ball of vanilla ice cream. 26 euros!!! We think the prices are a bit overpriced.

Unfortunately I also have to give a negative review. Unfortunately there is no price/performance ratio. Overpriced for the portions and then it's kind of like cafeteria food. Potato salad tasted like it was straight out of a bucket. Schnitzels were frozen. If you want fries instead of potato salad, you will be charged extra. We had a slightly older lady who served us. Totally unfriendly and as soon as you had finished eating and didn't want to order anything else, you had to quickly finish your drinks and leave the restaurant. A family with a small child was sitting at the next table. About 2 years. The little boy was a bit dissatisfied and that really disturbed the service. Not child friendly.

We've been there several times within a few weeks: the quality and preparation are down-to-earth, it's a comfortable, shady place to relax, and the prices are reasonable. The service is attentive and very friendly. Homemade potato salad, cordon bleu or meat cakes, cheese pätzle - we really enjoyed everything. At the end of the year the tenant/team will quit, which is a loss in Unteruhldingen's catering industry.

Portions small, prices high. Unfortunately, this is the new trend in the catering industry, and at some point the guests will stay away. Paid €10 for a 1 liter bottle of water, that's outrageous. 2x 0.5 liters would have cost €9.80, still exorbitant. If you then take fries instead of potato salad and are charged €1.50 for a "reorder", then you won't think of anything else. Never again!

We stopped by here with our 8 month old son later in the afternoon and wanted something to eat. Since we couldn't miss the ship (since our son is still small and wouldn't be sailing on a ship afterward), we asked before placing our order how long it would take for the food to arrive (since the restaurant outside was full). If it took longer, we would just have a drink. The lady who served us - about 60 years old, dark hair with glasses - just said in a very, very unfriendly manner that she didn't know how many food selections the kitchen currently has. Then she went inside. I just happened to go in and use the toilet. I could hear her mocking me in a very disparaging way and talking about me to the kitchen staff (perhaps you should wait until the guests have left before gossiping!!!). The food came after less than 5 minutes (as did the table next door. And all the other tables already had their food, so the lady would have known that the food would come quickly). The food itself was ok, but nothing more. The fish nut pearls tasted like old oil, which should probably be replaced. And the prices are also rather high. When we asked for the bill, the lady said the price and then pointedly held the device out to me so that I could enter the tip - which of course I didn't do. All in all, we absolutely cannot recommend the restaurant and we have rarely experienced such unfriendly and inappropriate service. Better take a picnic with you and make yourself comfortable on the meadow by the lake!

I have been a guest at this restaurant several times and have always been extremely satisfied. I read the review of Arminius Germane and have to conclude that this person, as his username suggests, has a significant character problem. During my visits, not only to this restaurant, I was horrified to see the arrogance and rudeness with which some guests treat the staff. For some people, terms like please and thank you seem to be foreign words when dealing with service staff. In this context, a lot of respect for the service staff in the catering industry.

We have been here several times in the last few days. The service was always top. Very friendly, competent and quick.

I am absolutely appalled by the service at this restaurant. The older waitress was incredibly rude and disrespectful. From the start her attitude was condescending and when I asked a simple question about my order she immediately became aggressive. The absolute highlight, however, was when she actually threatened to call the police because I said I wouldn't pay for a drink that was incorrectly delivered, which was only incorrectly delivered because the waitress didn't write it down correctly or didn't understand it correctly. Then it was said: “Yes, then it’s statement against statement! You pay for the drink if you order wrong!” I'm still mentally fit enough to know what I ordered less than five minutes before, especially since two witnesses were able to confirm this. I've never experienced anything like this before. It is completely unacceptable for guests to be treated this way. When I wanted to speak to the boss, he only told me that “it has been very difficult to find good staff for the catering industry for years and that the catering industry is in a state of upheaval.” That may certainly be true, but that is new to me everything has now been stopped and the customer traffic is released. Afterwards, the waitress, visibly pissed, poured the incorrectly delivered drink into a bush behind my back, which in my opinion absolutely cannot be. After this shocking experience, I will never enter this restaurant again and can only advise everyone to give it a wide berth. There are plenty of other restaurants in the immediate area that treat their guests with respect and make you feel welcome. What I also noticed several times was a dog (Labrador) that moves freely in the kitchen and the interior and therefore the hygiene must be poor. It was great before the tenant change, now it's a no-go!! Stay away from this store!

I don't like writing bad reviews, but unfortunately it has to be this time. After we had already had very good experiences on vacation in 2020 (five stars at the time), we wanted to come here again. Coming from mini golf, we wanted to sit inside in the face of the threatening black thundering storm front, as it was foreseeable that it would rain very soon. When we took a seat, we were turned away quite harshly from the cellar, saying that he only served outside. You would be alone, the walking paths etc. Funny, the table inside was actually the closest to the counter and kitchen, significantly cheaper than walking outside. We took a seat in another restaurant opposite (inside) and, less than a quarter of an hour later, we watched as the thunderstorm caused all the guests to quickly move inside. Hospitable is different!

There was a very unfriendly staff towards young people. The portions were far too small for the money I paid. I would never go to the store again. Not to recommend.

One of the best restaurants I have visited in the last six months. The innkeepers and staff also do almost everything to make you feel at home here. If it were possible I would give 6 or 7 stars. Absolutely recommended: sausage salad or sour cheese

We came here today with a group of people with disabilities. The waitress had disgust written all over her face, no trace of friendliness, and the fact that the fries we ordered weren't thrown onto the table was probably the highlight. When it started to rain and we wanted to go inside, we were initially told that they had stairs inside and that this was hardly possible with a wheelchair. However, the three steps were easy to master, but the double doors had to be opened completely, which the gentleman apparently didn't like, and he then started eating. A really nice and courteous guest then helped us, none of the employees would have done this, no, we were even insulted so that we quickly sat down at the regulars' table due to a lack of space. In many years of caring for people with disabilities, I have never experienced anything so derogatory and unfriendly.

We were there yesterday evening and were pleasantly surprised: friendly service, who even knew what ingredients were in the sauces, very good salads, cheese noodles, delicious sausage salad (without kilos of raw onions on it). The price-performance ratio is definitely right. However, if you value “a lot + cheap”, you won’t get your money’s worth. I can't explain the negative reviews any other way. We will be back definitely. Finally a good restaurant where you can get not overpriced tourist food.

Would have liked to try the restaurant, unfortunately we just sat there for 15 minutes without being served, the service noticed us but we weren't served. I would have understood if it was overcrowded, but that wasn't a shame...

One of the waitresses called a customer names because they moved a table in the shade for his handicapped mother. Unbelievable . Luckily our own waitress was nice.

The service is horrible, our young server was ok, but another server yelled at some clients for putting a table in the shade for an old lady and after chasing them away that they didn’t put it back. The entire terrace could hear her. The food was way to expensive for what it was. We wanted to eat the salad bowl with fish, but fish was out. So we took only the salad bowl. For 6.50 you would think it would have a decent size but it was absolutely tiny…. I would simply not go there on how they are treating their customers.

Dear “Alter Bahnhof” team, Thank you for the nice moments you have given us so far <3 There is always a warm welcome and a nice small talk in between. I feel very well looked after as a guest with you. Stephan gives you very good advice. I can highly recommend the lemonade, it was super tasty! We ate cheese spaetzle (I love strong cheese) and the schnitzel with crispy breading. All in all very tasty! My personal highlight is the crisp, fresh salad with a super delicious dressing! I had to order another salad straight away because it was so delicious! I think everyone knows when you go out to eat on a beach promenade that the prices there will always be a little higher than in the hinterland. For me, the price-performance ratio is absolutely fine and I would give even more stars in terms of the feel-good factor if it were possible. I think you're doing a really great job! Good Morning, Well, after a few visits, I can't confirm what I'm reading here! When I look at the reviews, I would almost say that someone has a personal grudge against the hosts and that the reviews come from the same author... Ambiance: Wonderful, lovingly designed terrace right on the bank, a little closer to the water, you're wet. Food: tasteful, hearty, plentiful So when I look at the clubhouse, I can hardly imagine that the kitchen there is larger than 10 square meters. I therefore find it impressive the variety that is offered to our guests. Once ONE Maultaschen was lukewarm inside, I spoke briefly to the waiter, a few minutes later I received TWO hot Maultaschen and another pardon. In my opinion, a perfect way to handle the situation. Service: Attentive, courteous, quick After our first visit, the host knew what we were drinking and we had since received our drink without saying hello. We think it's great and attentive, especially in a tourist hot spot like the promenade. Price: All prices are displayed on large boards at both entrances, easy to read for everyone. I would describe the prices as absolute average. A MEGA from my side & thank you for offering us a nice place. Love goes out ✌🏽

I've read the reviews of some of the predecessors and I'm surprised at how negative they are. This gives the impression that it could be the same person. Writing style !!!! I was there on Saturday May 11th. 24 with my wife and friends. Service - without complaints, fast and friendly Food - taste was great and the portion was enough. Price - anyone who goes to eat on a promenade knows the prices. Here these are appropriate and justified. Recommendation - gladly again and don't let people like that ruin your day. Hello, I have already read the recession and would actually be very positively surprised. The food was really great, I ate a schnitzel that was really tasty and my girlfriend had a really tasty salad with fish. The nice gentleman who served us was very friendly and attentive. He even offered my girlfriend a blanket and could almost tell from her lips that she was cold. We also went to the toilets which were clean. So I have to be honest, I honestly don't understand all the negative reviews. I would love to come here again!!!

We, the entire family, would like to take this opportunity to thank you!! We all love both the food and the staff. THANKS to the great team...we now come regularly.

Disappointing! Mini portion of fries for children (unfortunately not even tasty and just a handful) €6, plus a bag of ketchup €1 plus a bag of mayo €1. The adult portions are also very small and tasteless, but far too expensive. Crispy fish pearls in a greasy coating and far away from cross. Currywurst lukewarm on the outside cold on the inside. Service and ambience were good. We won't go there again, even though we're local and it's really nice to sit outside.

Really bad value for money. No longer recommended since the tenant changed. We ate there for the first time this weekend. The food was still ok - maximum canteen standard. In addition, the portions are so small that it's hard to feel full. We're actually not big eaters, but we left the table hungry, even though we paid a disproportionately high price for the food. The quality and size of the portions are disproportionate. A children's portion of fries with ketchup and mayonnaise costs 8 (!) euros. However, the portion is so small that our three-year-old wasn't full. Unfortunately, the lady from the service was also quite rude... Location is nice, but that's the only positive thing! But we definitely won't be coming back!

Save your money. Don't come in. With the Tyrolean Schnitzel there was a note that there was no cheese to bake with (I had the Käsespätzle, which turned out to be Knöpfle). Sauce, mushrooms, bacon and onions were completely missing. Schnitzel was very dry and baked in the fryer. €16.50 for a finished dish is a bit cheeky, but since everything was missing and there was a complaint, it was audacious to ask for the full price. Waiter offers to lower the price as an apology, but doesn't comply. You can't beat it for audacity. Price/performance is not even close.

Service desert....Guests are only seen here as donors, which is a shame. My tip towards the mini golf course was a very friendly host and the beer was also good.

Completely overpriced. The food is purely frozen food and is not warmed up very well. The fries weren't cooked through and the schnitzel was barely over-baked. Canteens would be ashamed of the food.

Sehr leckeres Essen, top Zubereitet, freundlicher aufmerksamer Service. Preislich absolut im Rahmen. Die schlechten Bewertungen auf Grund "Keine Reservierung möglich" "Innen keine Bewirtung". Resultieren vermutlich daher dass dies nunmal das Clubheim des Ruder Club Unteruhldingen ist. Vielleicht sollte dies nach außen eindeutiger kommuniziert werden, um Missverständnisse zu vermeiden.

Gut bürgerliche Küche! Der Beilagensalat ist wirklich top, wie in der Karte beschrieben. Die Currywurst war leider keine gegrillte Bratwurst sondern eher eine weiche gekochte Bockwurst. Konsistenz gewöhnungsbedürftig. Die Maultaschen waren sehr lecker, die Bratensoße hätte nicht sein gemusst.

Netter Service und leckerer Kuchen. Schade war nur, dass man - auch nach Nachfrage - bei dem kalten Wind nicht reinsitzen durfte.
