Tacoriño in Berlin

The service is super great, the waiters are a gem of people, very attentive to what you need and they speak Spanish. The tacos were one of the most authentic Mexican I have tried in Berlin 10/10, the place is themed and cute, comfortable and the food was super fast when served, I didn't even wait 15 minutes. Fantastic! If you are looking for Mexican food this is the ideal place.

A friend of mine recommended this place as a great Mexican restaurant, and it was definitely worth visiting. The staffs are very friendly, and the food is flavorful. I highly recommend trying the classic margarita, guacamole with chips, and both the fish and beef tacos.

We love ❤️ the guacamole. A huge portion that really impresses every time - as a starter to share or as a main course. The tacos al pastor are also amazing. The staff is always very nice and everything happens quite quickly. We eat here at least twice a month. My friend has to eat gluten-free, which is often a problem in other restaurants, but not here at all. It's nice outside in summer. There's still room for improvement inside when it comes to decoration, but it's clean and completely okay.

Unlike a lot of Mexican food I've tried in Berlin. Tacos and tortillas handmade. The dishes are delicious, seasoned with fresh ingredients and are not overwhelmed with cheese and sour cream. If you want a lot of cheese, you can also find that on the menu. Delicious and unusual margheritas (from classic to tamarind and jalapeno, see picture). Vegan dishes are also on the program. Very friendly service. Very good value for money. We'll definitely be back.

Ah, **El Taco Desastre** – once a highlight, now a sad joke. The tacos taste like the seasonings have been replaced with cardboard. The staff? As motivated as a Monday morning. But hey, if you're into disappointment, this is the place for you.

When the shop opened it was an absolute highlight. The food was fantastic and so creative you could tell there was a concept behind it. Someone who has put a lot of thought into not just the taste but also everything around it. But it seems like the heart is out. There's something extra missing from the food. It tastes bland and doesn't look so nice anymore. But something is missing in the store too. Probably the warmth and friendliness that once existed there. Now it seems all about profit. Too bad!

Four of us went to the restaurant last weekend and ate outside on this warm summer evening. Although the places are close to the street, it was very quiet and pleasant to eat there. We ordered 4 different tacos as a main course and they were all very tasty. The service staff was very friendly and we were served quickly.

Super tasty, super fresh, super real! In the open kitchen you can follow every step of these original recipes. Incredibly good value for money. Everyone else can pack up. I'm a regular here and can definitely recommend Tacoriño. There is something for every taste, with fresh herbs, lime and love for good ingredients.

This place used to be good and I even went so far as to recommend it for the shrimp and quinoa tacos. Unfortunately it is now a disgrace to Mexican food. The shrimp tacos were not breaded, the chicken al pastor tacos were burnt and salty, the quesadillas with a plastic cheese, salty and full of oil. Terrible service, it took them 50 minutes to serve us the worst food I have ever had. We asked for the bill and glasses of water and they never brought them or it took more than 30 minutes. Avoid this place at all costs, it is not Mexican food and does not even have the standards of a basic restaurant. Terrible service, rude, despotic, slow and expensive for the quality of the food. Avoid indigestion!

This was a nice taqueria last year but now we had a horrible experience. This is no longer authentic Mexican food. Lack of basic cooking skills. Too salty, too oily, wrong ingredients and poor quality food. Inedible. All this after waiting 50' for some tacos. I will not comment further on the rude behavior of the owner who cannot accept any comments and offends customers. The food goes with the culture that does not exist here. We are Mexicans and this restaurant is to avoid. There are better taqueria options in Berlin.

Feeling homesick we stumbled upon this place. Probably the best tacos in Berlin. The barbacoa tacos are a standout. A must try if you’re missing a taste from México.

The food was great! The eye also ate. Unfortunately we waited a very long time for drinks and food. The music and watching the food being prepared distracted us well. Some of the staff only speak English, but that wasn't a problem for us. However, if you are very hungry, you will have to plan for a starter, which will be correspondingly more expensive.

There were four of us and we sat outside. The street is quiet and the staff is super friendly and the waiting time is totally ok. Had passion chili margaritas 8/10, guacamole 9/10, grilled avocados 8/10, vegan tacos 5/10 and cauliflower El Pastor 6/10. The appetizers and drinks were great, we would order exactly the same again. We were a little disappointed with the tacos, the taste was a bit boring and the tacos were also quite dry. You get that better in Berlin. Since the location and the staff convinced us, we will definitely come back again and hope that there will be more developments in terms of vegan/vegetarian taste.

A very nice taco restaurant they advertise that it's authentic. That is a little questionable but the flavors are nice. I think it's a little expensive for the amount of food that you receive. With that being said, the food is good and the staff is very friendly. All in all, I would still recommend this restaurant for people who enjoy Mexican food.

The food is okay, but it doesn't blow you away either. We had 5 different main courses and despite the hot sauce, the seasoning was simply missing. Unfortunately, the service wasn't particularly good either. Long waiting times and cold, annoyed interaction. However, you sit very nicely and the language on the plate was very appealing. Still - if you want to eat good tacos, I would recommend other places in Berlin.

We had again a delightful dinner at Tacoriño in Charlottenburg. Since our family is from Mexico City we know how authentic dishes taste. At Tacoriño they are prepared with just the right ingrediences and caring attention to detail. The waiters are kind and serve with ease. Today Hugo was in charge. Muchas gracias to him and the Tacoriño team! We recommend Tacoriño gladly to anyone looking for a delightful Mexican restaurant in Berlin.

Delicious pastor tacos that make you remember the taste of the real ones and the “del pastor” have a good flavor but they don't have a top and that makes the cut of the meat and the texture different. Out of there, I found the place with a lot of Mexican and a good atmosphere

I have been to this place four times. It seems to be very hit or miss. Once it was super amazing, one it was good, once it was really not that great, and the last time I went I couldn't even finish the food. I'll probably go again. fifth time is the charm! I do wish they put some acoustic foam on the ceiling. It gets pretty loud in there.

Wow! This is the first Mexican restaurant in Berlin, which I can recommend unconditionally! No Tex-Mex, just great, authentic Mexican cuisine! The meat is fresh and seasoned on site, the portions are decent and worth the price! Paul, the owner, is a Berlin original who loves and lives his shop! He stands in the kitchen himself and feels like he takes care of every guest! Even when the store is full, the service team is practiced inconspicuously and is still there immediately when you need it. By the way, the cocktails are simply strong and invite you to stay longer even after eating!

Price-performance not culinary justified. Spices are missing from the dishes - as a vegan or vegetarian customer you leave unsatisfied. Cauliflower was still too al dente and the marinade was boring. The vegetables in the tacos weren't seasoned either, and the sauces also tasted uninteresting.

I think tacos were good and portions are better than many taco places I’ve been before. Food came really fast. I got Guacamole and La Costra with steak. The taco meat tasted good, I loved that there are two tortillas but I didn’t like the cheese part. However, I think I expected a bit more from the food. I’ll definitely come here again to try some other stuff.

Ordered through Wolt: The tacos were too stuffed for me. In terms of taste, they weren't the worst tacos I've eaten in Berlin, but they weren't really amazing either and certainly couldn't be compared with tacos in Mexico. In addition, the prices are pretty steep.

Food Quality: amazing freshly made food. Everything was delicious and of great quality. Starting with the freshly made guacamole and home made tortilla chips, all the way through the thoroughly investigated combinations of very tasty tacos served in double tortilla wraps which is the authentic way to do it. Quesadilla done to perfection with a crusty cheese edge. Portions: very very good portions. Huge bowl of guacamole (recommended to share with several people). Most taco dishes are circa 300g. Drinks: options of local drinks and the regular soft drinks and beers. Price: $$-$$$ not expensive for the amount and quality of food. We ordered way too much and had to roll on the way out. Service: very good friendly service. Most of the time even the owner will be working around the restaurant and very interesting to talk about the food and all the investigation of products that was put into designing the dishes. Atmosphere: very nice indoors decoration and space. Tables are not crowded on top of each other and has decoration related to different spices and ingredients. Highlights: really good food. Must try. I enjoyed the style of the tacos and food here. Things to improve: maybe as a suggestion, if people seem to be ordering a lot of food, a guidance on the sizes of food might be helpful to not order too much, hehe. Payment Method: CC, cash

Our visit to the restaurant was great! The food was very good: slightly spicy and well seasoned, an incredible variety of flavors, with homemade taco flatbreads and particularly good guacamole. Also great: the homemade tortilla chips and the selection of drinks. Plus very nice service and a great atmosphere. We are thrilled and will be back!

Wir müssten über eine Stunde auf unser essen warten. Als ich das angesprochen habe, hat der Kellner mich ausgelacht und meinte das stimmt nicht. Danach wurden uns gegenüber nur noch die Augen verdreht und am Ende die Rechnung auf den Tisch geklatscht. Die Mitarbeiter waren total langsam und haben einen ignoriert. Essen hat sich überhaupt nicht gelohnt, hat 0 geschmeckt , total unauthentisch und zäh. Auf Kunden Zufriedenheit wird nicht geachtet . Kommt nicht hier her ihr werdet es bereuen

Soy mexicano viviendo en Alemania desde hace diez años y recomiendo ampliamente el lugar porque se esmeran en ofrecer AUTÉNTICA comida mexicana, lo cual es un verdadero alivio en una ciudad donde abundan los charlatanes que quieren hacer pasar tex-mex y chili con carne por gastronomía mexicana. El servicio es excelente y, considerando la calidad y tamaño de los platillos, el precio me parece más que adecuado. A pesar de encontrarme muy lejos de Michoacán o de Yucatán, los tacos de carnitas y cochinita pibil son bastantes buenos. Además, es posible cenar bastante tarde (la última vez pedimos nuestra comida a las 22 h). Ojalá, el restaurante dure muchos años más.

Wir kommen schon seit der Eröffnung immer gerne. Erster Eindruck, nachdem ich schon viele Male in Mexiko gewesen war: Die Tacos schmecken wirklich wie dort! Insbesondere die Cochinitas haben es mir angetan. Zudem sind die Tortillas alle von Hand gemacht, die Totopos und die Horchata-Getränke auch. Man schmeckt wirklich den Unterschied zu jedem X-beliebigen Tex-Mex. Direkt am Savignyplatz haben die Eigentümer eine kleine Oase geschaffen, alles liebevoll und stilvoll eingerichtet. Wir bringen auch immer mal Freunde hierhin. Kommen gerne wieder!

Sehr nette Bedienung, große Portionen. Leider waren die Tacos aber für Tacos recht teuer und die Tacos Al Pastor einigermaßen trocken und nicht sehr geschmacksintensiv.

Verstehe die Negativbewertungen nicht; mein Mann (ein echter Tacos-Fan) kennt das Original aus México und war begeistert! Gute Qualität, Geschmack & Atmosphäre TOP, authentisch, guter Service (on point, zuvorkommend und unaufgeregt). Die Mezcal Margarita auch empfehlenswert und besonderes Plus: unsere (große) Hündin wurde herzlich empfangen und bekam direkt Wasser serviert, ohne darum gebeten zu haben. Wir kommen definitiv wieder!! 😍

First of all, please have understanding street food is not the same like Mexican restaurants dishes. If you preferred real tex-mex having spicy seasoning- look for street food. But if you love the good Mexican dishes - go and try here. 😀 thanks guys and please serve in the future also food with soul
